        초등학생 스마트폰 의존도가 학업성취도에 미치는 영향 - 2011년과 2019년 시기별 독서시간의 매개효과를 중심으로 -

        본 연구는 스마트폰 의존도와 학업성취도의 관계에서 초등학생 독서시간의 매개효과가 2011년과 2019년의 기간에 어떻게 달라졌는지를 실증적으로 규명하기 위해 실시되었다. 본 연구의 표본은 한국청소년정책연구원의 『한국아동·청소년패널조사 2010(KCYPS 2010)』과 『한국아동·청소년패널조사 2018(KCYPS 2018)』초4 패널 2차 자료로 2011년 기준 2,378명, 2019년 기준 2,607명의 초등학교 5학년 학생이다. 연구 결과 첫째, 2011년과 2019년 모두 스마트폰 의존도는 학업성취도에 유의한 부적 효과를 나타냈다. 그런데 통제변수를 투입한 모형에서 2011년에는 학업성취도에 미치는 스마트폰 의존도 영향력이 유의하지 않았고 2019년에는 유의했다. 그리고 독서시간을 추가로 투입한 모형에서 독서시간은 2011년과 2019년 모두 학업성취도를 높이는 정적 영향요인으로 확인되었다. 그리고 학업성취도에 대한 스마트폰 의존도의 영향력을 독서시간이 얼마나 완화하는지를 확인한 결과 2019년 스마트폰 의존도가 학업성취도에 미치는 부정적 영향력의 13.9%를 독서시간이 완화하고 있음을 확인했다. 초등학생의 스마트폰 사용 시간이 지속적으로 증가하고 스마트폰 의존도가 심각해지는 시점에 독서시간의 교육적 의미와 중요성을 다시 한번 확인할 수 있었으며 국어교육에서 초등학생의 독서활동 증진을 위한 다양한 교수학습 방법 및 정책을 시행할 필요가 있음을 시사한다. This study was conducted to empirically identify how the mediated effects of reading time for elementary school students in the relationship between smartphone dependence and academic achievement changed over the period 2011 and 2019. The samples of this study are 5th grade elementary school students, 2,378 students as of 2011 and 2,607 as of 2019, from the secondary data of the Korea Children and Youth Panel Survey 2010 (KCYPS 2010) and 2018 (KCYPS 2018) of National Youth Policy Institute. As a result of the study, first, in both 2011 and 2019, dependence on smartphones showed a significant negative effect on academic achievement. However, when control variables were put in the model, the influence of smartphone dependence on academic achievement was not significant in 2011, but it was significant in 2019. In addition, in the model in which additional reading time was input, reading time was identified as a positive factor that increases academic performance in both 2011 and 2019. In addition, as a result of checking how much reading time relieves the negative impact of smartphone dependence on academic achievement, it was confirmed that reading time alleviated 13.9% of the negative influence of smartphone dependence on academic achievement in 2019. At this time when elementary school students’ smartphone usage time continues to increase and their smartphone dependence becomes serious, the educational meaning and importance of reading time was confirmed once again, suggesting that various teaching and learning methods and policies need to be implemented to promote the reading activity of elementary school students in Korean language education.

      • Occurrence of Bemisia tabaci and its vectored virus in Korea

        Nationwide occurrence of Bemisia tabaci Q biotype was identified from 2005 May to 2007 Dec. in total 28 cities/counties of 9 provinces such as Goyang (Kyung-gi), Gangnung (Gang-won), Jincheon (Chung-buk), Buyeo (Chung-nam), Seongju (Kyung-buk), Geoje (Kyung-nam), Bukjeju (Jeju). Host plants of the scale of B. tabaci Q biotype were over 15 crops of tomato, sweet pepper, hot pepper, eggplant, etc. and total 12 species of weeds such as Veronica persica, Ipomoea lacunosa, Conyza sumatrensis, I. hederacea, Xanthium canadense, Humulus japonicus, Boehmeria nivea, Artemisia vulgaris, Paederia scandens, Acalypha austeralis, Brassica juncea, Rumex crispus. For molecular identifying Bemisia tabaci B and Q biotypes, and Trialeurodes vaporariorum, for which it is difficult to distinguish morphologically, sequences of mitochondrial 16S rDNA and CO I (Cytochromoxidase I) gene were analyzed and restriction enzymes were selected for biotypespecific cleaved bands. As the results, Hinf I for 16S rDNA and Vsp I for CO I gene made specific band patterns for the B and Q biotypes in gel electrophoresis. Thus these methods were able to identify those biotypes and species without DNA sequence analysis. Populations of the Q biotype were collected in each regions of Korea from 2005 to 2007, and they were genetically compared using CO I gene sequences. Thus the populations were divided by three different groups which were introduced over 3-4 times before 2007 from different population sources. Geoje and Jeju were suggested as the first regions of introduction. Especially the populations in the first introduced regions were highly homologous with the Q biotype of Japan. In addition, infection pattern of secondary symbionts in populations of the B and Q biotypes in Korea were different from the Israeli populations. Thus it is suggested that Japan is the main source of B. tabaci Q biotype introduced to Korea. In addition, populations of the both of B and Q biotype in Korea were infected by Haemiltonella, which is more effectively related to the transmission of tomato yellow leaf curl begomovirus (TYLCV). Therefore it is needed to monitor continuously if the outbreak of begomovirus vectored by B. tabaci. In this molecular phylogenetic analysis, it was shown that the population of B. tabaci Q biotype in weed plants near greenhouse was introduced to crop plants in greenhouse. Therefore we understand that weed control is important to inhibit recurrence of B. tabaci in greenhouse. Three species of begomovirus, sweet potato leaf curl virus (SPLCV), tobacco leaf curl virus (TLCV), and TYLCV, were reported after introduction of B. tabaci in Korea. Especially Korean government removed all plants in the first TYLCV-occurred greenhouse in 2008. Multiplex PCR diagnosis between TLCV and TYLCV was developed for the more rapid and accurate monitoring. TLCV and TYLCV strains occurred in Korea were highly homologous with strains of Japan. Therefore these results support our suggestion that Japan is the main source of B. tabaci Q biotype introduced to Korea.

        In this paper, a subminiature solid rocket motor(SSRM) was designed to develop a miniature smart-bullet and the designed propellant grain was made of thermoplastic propellant for production convenience of inner shape. The internal ballistics analysis and ground test were performed to investigate the performance of SSRM. And a numerical simulation was carried out to obtain basic data on the design of safety distance between the nozzle outlet and a gunner, the temperature distribution of exhaust gas was analyzed by comparing a numerical simulation and the results of IR camera.

        Purity Assessment of Monosaccharides using Mass Balance Method

        A mass balance method enables accurate determination of the purity of monosaccharides by incorporating the results obtained by various analytical techniques. High-performance anion exchange chromatography with pulsed amperometric detection was used to quantify nonchromophoric impurities structurally related to the analyte. Organic acids as candidates of monosaccharide impurities were analyzed by ion chromatography with conductivity detection. Liquid chromatography with photodiode-array UV detection was performed to detect other organic impurities. Karl-Fischer coulometry with oven-drying method was used to measure the water content in the samples. Finally, nonvolatile inorganic impurities were determined by thermal gravimetric analyses. The purities of the monosaccharides, glucose, galactose, fructose, and mannose, in kg/kg were (0.9983?±?0.0004), (0.9962?±?0.0005), (0.9999?±?0.0004), and (0.9991?±?0.0005), respectively. The mass balance method provides system of units (SI)-traceable purity values, which can be applied to primary reference materials for assigning a certified value for the target monosaccharide in certified reference materials.

        <P>Celecoxib, a selective cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitor, is potentially useful for the treatment of colonic diseases such as colorectal cancer and colitis. However, the cardiovascular toxicity of celecoxib limits its routine use in the clinic. Generally, colon-specific delivery of a drug both increases the therapeutic availability in the large intestine and decreases the systemic absorption of the drug, most likely resulting in enhanced therapeutic effects against colonic diseases such as colitis and reduced systemic side effects. To develop a colon-specific prodrug of celecoxib that could reduce its cardiovascular toxicity and improve its therapeutic activity, dextran–glutamic acid–celecoxib conjugate (glutam-1-yl celecoxib-dextran ester [G1CD]) was prepared and evaluated. While stable in pH 1.2 and 6.8 buffer solutions and small-intestinal contents, G1CD efficiently released celecoxib in cecal contents. Oral administration of G1CD to rats delivered a larger amount of celecoxib to the large intestine than free celecoxib. G1CD prevented the systemic absorption of celecoxib and did not decrease the serum level of 6-ketoprostaglandin F<SUB>1α</SUB>, an inverse indicator of cardiovascular toxicity of celecoxib. Collectively, G1CD may be a polymeric colon-specific celecoxib prodrug with therapeutic and toxicological advantages.</P>
