【社會科學】 : 唐代道士成玄英的重玄之道與佛敎中觀思想的比較

I have published several papers about taoist thought of twofold mystery(重玄) of Cheng Hsuan-Ying(成玄英) who was a taoist master in early Tang dynasty of China. And we could find out three layers of meaning by analyzing twofold mystery thought. Base on those papers, we would compare twofold mystery thought of Cheng Hsuan-Ying with Buddhism madhyamaka thought, and discuss on whether madhyamaka thought contain dialectic dimension or not? Then we will know the differences in both of them. Finally, we point out the significance of twofold mystery thought in this issue.

The objective of this article is to examine when the Yu Jing Shan Bu Xu Jing, an important Daoism text, has been published. The method we used is to compare the content of Yu Jing Shan Bu Xu Jing with practical rituals. And we found some incoordinate phenomenons in between. We assumed that the Yu Jing Shan Bu Xu Jing was not compiled by only one person at the same time, the same place. It was not the original text in the Six dynasties. This research provides a review on nowadays Daoism text discussion and indicates possible ways to many different aspects of new studies.

Multifunctional flexible conductive materials have attracted significant attention as next-generation portablewearable electronics. However, designing robust electronics fabrics with high-performance electromagnetic interference(EMI) shielding and reliable use in all-weather environments remains a challenge. Herein, a practical and optimizedmethodology was provided to achieve surface metallization of insulating fabrics for conductive devices. The Ag seeds weresuccessfully embedded on the surface of viscose nonwovens as catalytic centers, and ammonia-free silver plating was carriedout at room temperature. Subsequently, the Ag-wrapped fabric was impregnated with 1-octadecanethiol so that the surface ofthe obtained fabric showed super-hydrophobicity and water contact angle can reach 152.3 °. The Ag/viscose exhibitsultrahigh conductivity (up to 538 S/cm) and the EMI shielding effectiveness (SE) reaches as high as 94.1 dB in the range of1-18 GHz. The obtained Ag/viscose possesses outstanding waterproof, strong mechanical durability, excellent Joule heatingeffect and antibacterial, which can be potentially applied for multifunctional wearable electronics and smart clothing.
Communication Networks and Changes in Electoral Choices: A Study of Taiwan's 2002 Mayoral Elections

Communication networks play an important role in the process of political socialization. This paper, based on Taiwans 2002 Taipei and Kaohsiung mayoral election data, investigates the extent to which political discussion with family and close friends affects changes in vote choices. Using two definitions of changes in vote choice vote switching and partisan defection the empirical findings support Zuckerman and his followers structural theory and partially sustain Becks social support theory. First, partisan voters in both cities who perceive great heterogeneity in their communication networks are likely to switch their vote in two consecutive elections. Second, partisan voters in Kaohsiung that frequently discuss politics within communication networks are not likely to defect their party identification. The implications of the findings for the development of deliberative democracy are discussed.

This brief paper studies the consensus problem of second-order multi-agent systems when the agents’ velocitymeasurements are unavailable. Firstly, two simple consensus protocols which do not need velocity measurementsof the agents are derived to guarantee that the multi-agent systems achieve consensus in directed networks. Secondly, a key constant which is determined by the complex eigenvalue of the nonsymmetric Laplacian matrix andan explicit expression of the consensus state are respectively developed based on matrix theory. The obtained resultsshow that all the agents can reach consensus if the feedback parameter is bigger than the key constant. Thirdly,the theoretical analysis shows that the followers can track the position and velocity of the leader provided that theleader has a directed path to all other followers and the feedback parameter is bigger enough. Finally, numericalsimulations are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed protocols.

This brief paper studies the stationary consensus of multiple Euler-Lagrange systems with nonlinear protocols. Two consensus protocols are given to guarantee that positions and velocities of multiple Euler-Lagrangesystems reach consensus. Proposed protocols need only the relative position measurements and the velocity measurementsof one Euler-Lagrange system. Finally, numerical simulations are given to illustrate the theoreticalresults.

With an increase in the scale of recommender systems, users’ rating data tend to be extremely sparse. Some methods have been utilized to alleviate this problem; nevertheless, it has not been satisfactorily solved yet. Therefore, we propose an effective pre-rating method based on users’ dichotomous preferences and average ratings fusion. First, based on a user-item ratings matrix, a new user-item preference matrix was constructed to analyze and model user preferences. The items were then divided into two categories based on a parameterized dynamic threshold. The missing ratings for items that the user was not interested in were directly filled with the lowest user rating; otherwise, fusion ratings were utilized to fill the missing ratings. Further, an optimized parameter λ was introduced to adjust their weights. Finally, we verified our method on a standard dataset. The experimental results show that our method can effectively reduce the prediction error and improve the recommendation quality. As for its application, our method is effective, but not complicated.

Purpose: This retrospective study evaluated the changes in hyoid bone and tongue positions as well as oral cavity volume after mandibular setback by BSSRO. Materials and Methods: 18 Koreans who underwent BSSRO to correct mandibular prognathism were studied. Lateral cephalograms were taken and traced preoperatively (T0), immediately (T1) and approximately 6 months postoperatively (T2). Submentovertex radiograghs were taken and traced before surgery (T0) and about 6 months after surgery (T2). The area and volume of oral cavity, the vertical and horizontal dimensions of the hyoid bone and tongue dorsum were measured. Results: Mandibular setback surgery resulted in a significant reduction of lower oral cavity volume. The hyoid bone displaced posteroinferiorly immediately after surgery, and it tended to return to its original vertical position at 6 month after mandibular setback by BSSRO. The retropalatal space around tongue was maintained and the retrolingual space around tongue was reduced immediately postoperatively. The readaptation of tongue was not evident for that the follow up period was not long enough. No significant statistical correlations between the amounts of mandibular setback and the changes of oral cavity volume were observed. Conclusion: Mandibular setback surgery resulted in a significant reduction of lower oral cavity volume, which was most likely attributable to the posterior movement of the mandible. More subjects and long-term observations should be performed to assess the changes of oropharyngeal configuration following mandibular setback surgery.
