초등학교 학교교과목 현상에 대한 의문과 이에 대한 해명

본 연구는 초등학교의 학교교과목 현상을 둘러싼 의문들을 살펴보고, 학교교과목 현상을 지지하는 입장에서 이에 답해보고자 하였다. 학교교과목에 대한 의문은 학자에서 교사까지 다양하며, 이는 크게 네 가지로 나타났다: 1) 학문으로서 교과를 인식함으로써 오는 의문, 2) 교과의 고정불변성에서 오는 의문, 3) 교사가 만든 것은 단원이라는 인식에서 오는 의문, 4) 학교교과목의 현장 과중함과 관련된 의문. 학교교과목 현상을 이해하기 위해서는, 학문은 교과를 구성하는 일부 축이라는 것, 교과는 고정성도 지녔지만 생성성도 지녔다는 것, 교과를 개발하는 행위는 다양한 층위와 방식이 존재한다는 것 등, 교과에 대한 폭넓은 이해가 필요하다. 무엇보다 학교교과목이 현재 교사 교육과정을 드러내고, 초등교육에 적합한 교육과정 조직을 찾아가는 마중물이 될 거라는 믿음이 필요하다. This study sought to examine and answer questions surrounding the phenomenon of school subjects in elementary schools. Questions about school subjects vary from scholars to teachers, and these have appeared in four ways: 1) questions arising from the recognition of the curriculum as a study; 2) questions arising from the fixedity of the subject matters; 3) questions arising from the perception that what the teacher created is a unit; and 4) questions related to the overloading of the school curriculum. To understand the phenomenon of school subjects, a broad understanding of subjects matters is needed. Academic studies are only a part of the subjects matters, and the subjects matters is fixed but also productive. Also, subjects matters is developed in various layers and methods. Above all, it is necessary to believe that school subjects will help show the curriculum of teachers.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>Wedelolactone is an herbal medicine that is used to treat septic shock, hepatitis and venom poisoning. Although in differentiated and cancer cells, wedelolactone has been identified as anti‐inflammatory, growth inhibitory, and pro‐apoptotic, the effects of wedelolactone on stem cell differentiation remain largely unknown. Here, we report that wedelolactone inhibits the adipogenic differentiation of human adipose tissue‐derived mesenchymal stem cells (hAMSCs). Wedelolactone reduced the formation of lipid droplets and the expression of adipogenesis‐related proteins, such as CCAAT enhancer‐binding protein‐α (C/EBP‐α), peroxisome proliferator‐activated receptor‐γ (PPAR‐γ), lipoprotein lipase (LPL), and adipocyte fatty acid‐binding protein aP2 (aP2). Wedelolactone mediated this process by sustaining ERK activity. In addition, inhibition of ERK activity with PD98059 resulted in reversion of the wedelolactone‐mediated inhibition of adipogenic differentiation. Taken together, these results indicate that wedelolactone inhibits adipogenic differentiation through ERK pathway and suggest a novel inhibitory effect of wedelolactone on adipogenic differentiation in hAMSCs. <P>Gadolinium-neutron capture therapy (Gd-NCT) is based on the nuclear capture reaction that occurs when <SUP>157</SUP>Gd is irradiated with low energy thermal neutrons to primarily produce gamma photons. Herein, we investigated the effect of neutron capture therapy (NCT) using a small molecular gadolinium complex, Gd-DO3A-benzothiazole (Gd-DO3A-BTA), which could be a good candidate for use as an NCT drug due to its ability to enter the intracellular nuclei of tumor cells. Furthermore, MRI images of Gd-DO3A-BTA showed a clear signal enhancement in the tumor, and the images also played a key role in planning NCT by providing accurate information on the <I>in vivo</I> uptake time and duration of Gd-DO3A-BTA. We injected Gd-DO3A-BTA into MDA-MB-231 breast tumor-bearing mice and irradiated the tumors with cyclotron neutrons at the maximum accumulation time (postinjection 6 h); then, we observed the size of the growing tumor for 60 days. Gd-DO3A-BTA showed good therapeutic effects of chemo-Gd-NCT for the <I>in vivo</I> tumor models. Simultaneously, the Gd-DO3A-BTA groups ([Gd-DO3A-BTA(+), NCT(+)]) showed a significant reduction in tumor size (<I>p</I> < 0.05), and the inhibitory effect on tumor growth was exhibited in the following order: [Gd-DO3A-BTA(+), NCT(+)] > [Gd-DO3A-BTA(+), NCT(−)] > [Gd-DO3A-BTA(−), NCT(+)] > [Gd-DO3A-BTA(−), NCT(−)]. On day 60, the [Gd-DO3A-BTA(+), NCT(+)] and [Gd-DO3A-BTA(−), NCT(−)] groups exhibited an approximately 4.5-fold difference in tumor size. Immunohistochemistry studies demonstrated that new combinational therapy with chemo-Gd-NCT could treat breast cancer by both the inhibition of tumor cell proliferation and induction of apoptosis-related proteins, with <I>in vivo</I> tumor monitoring by MRI.</P>
