Biochemical and enzymatic characterization for extracellular protease isolated from Cordyceps militaris cultivated on rice bran medium was investigated. C militaris produced proteolytic enzymes from 10 days after inoculation, maximum enzyme production was found at 25 days. The optimum temperature and pH of proteases production was at 25˚C and pH 7.0, respectively. The protease activity was observed in the four peaks (Pro-I, Pro-II, Pro-III, and Pro-IV) separated through Sephadex G-100 column chromatography. The separated protease was optimally active at 25˚C. Optimum pH of the protease was between 7 and 8. Enzyme was also stable over at 30-80˚C. The enzyme was highly stable in a pH range of 4-9. Protease activity was found to be slightly decreased by the addition of Mg2+, Mn2+, Zn2+, Fe2+ and Cu2+, whereas inhibited by the addition of Ca2+ and Co2+ Protease activity was inhibited by protease inhibitor PMSF. On the other hand, the partially purified protease was investigated on proteolytic protease activity by zymogram gel electrophoresis using three substances (casein, gelatin and fibrin). Four active bands (F-I, FII, F-III, and F-IV) of fibrin degradation were revealed on fibrin zymogram gels. Both of F-II and FIII showed caseinolytic, fibrinolytic and gelatinolytic activities in three gels. Thermostability, pH stability, and pH-thermostability of the enzyme determined the residual fibrinolytic activity also displayed on fibrin zymogram gel. The only one enzyme (F-II) displayed over a broad range of temperature at 30-90˚C. The FII displayed fibrinolytic activity in the pH range 3-5, but was inactivated in the range of pH 6-11. The F-I and F-III showed enzyme activity in the pH range of 6-11. In the pH-thermostability, the F-II only kept fibrinolytic activity after heating at 100˚C for 10, 20 and 30 min at pH 3 and pH 7, respectively. On the other hand, the F-II was retained activity until heating for 10 min under pH 11 condition. By using fibrin zymogram gel electrophoresis, extracellular fibrinolytic enzyme F-II from C. militaris showed unusual thermostable under acid and neutral conditions.

The research was conducted in 2004 - 2006 to investigate the effect of organic matters application on soil aggregate formation in newly reclaimed tidelands. The soil was treated with fresh grass (italian ryegrass), fresh grass + compost, and compost after deep ploughing (20 cm depth). The fresh grass and compost treatment was promoted soil aggregate formation. For improvement of physical property and structure of soil in newly reclaimed tidelands, fresh grass and compost treatment was more suitable than two other treatments.

The research was conducted in 2004 - 2006 to investigate the effect of chemical materials treatment on soil aggregate formation in newly reclaimed tidelands. The aggregate formation in iron (Fe) treatment was the most suitable in various chemical materials treatments and organic matters plus chemical materials treatment was more effective than only chemical materials treatments.

The study was conducted in 2004 - 2006 to investigate the effect of cropping system on soil aggregate formation in newly reclaimed tidelands. The soil aggregate of bean cultivation plot was better than rice cultivation plot in summer season. And barley cultivation was more effective than bare soil in winter season.

This study was conducted to analyze the effects of horticultural therapy program based on health care education on quality of life, stress, depression and anxiety of hypertensive patients, and to find effects on ability to control hypertension by continuing health care education and horticulture education. Subjects were 60 adult hypertension patients aged 30 to 64 at a hospital in K-gu, Seoul, aged 30 to 64. Experimental group of 30 patients received horticultural therapy program and control group of 30 patients did not receive horticultural therapy program. The horticultural therapy program was conducted for 60 minutes per session, twice a week, and total 8 times. This study was performed from 1. Aug. to 31. Oct. in 2015. Each session was based on contents of basic health care education and horticultural education. The programs were verified by 5 specialists in related fields (1 doctor, 2 nurses, 2 horticultural therapists). To prove effects of horticultural therapy program, patients’ stress, depression, anxiety, quality of life and knowledge of hypertension and horticulture were estimated 3 times(before, after and 1 month after the experiment). SPSS (Version 22 for Windows) was used for t-test of independent sample, which analyzes demographic information and verifies homogeneity, and for t-test of matching sample which shows different effects between groups. As the results, horticultural therapy program based on health care education made significant positive effects on stress and quality of life of hypertensive patients. Moreover, the horticultural therapy program improved knowledge on horticulture and hypertension. However, there were no significant changes in control group. This result shows that the horticultural therapy program based on health care could relive stress and improve quality of life.

In this study, it was investigated that the physico-chemical properties of the sentiment from candidates sites of upland-horticultural fields in the Samangeum reclaimed tideland in order to suggest for basic data for the development of reclaimed agricultural land. The soil texture of Gwanghwal, Gyehwa, ManKyung and Okgu tidal flat appeared to be sandy loam, identically. The average of pH in sediment appeared 7.62, 7.42, 7.42 and 7.82, respectively. The average of EC in the above sites appeared 27.11, 41.0, 26.5 and 27.8 dS/m, respectively. The average of CEC appeared 12.79, 8.82, 13.27 and 10.75 cmol/kg, respectively. For the average of exchangeable sodium percentage (ESP), Gyehwa and Okgu seemed to be higher, 73.62% and 61.05%.

The present study was carried out to investigate the heavy metals concentrations of surfical sediment of in candidates areas of upland-horticultural fields in the Saemangeum reclaimed tideland. The concentrations of heavy metals in surfical sediments were found to be background level except for partially sites. Although the heavy metals concentrations don't meet the warning standard of agricultural land contamination, it was suggested that constant monitoring and interception from external pollutants are need for water-soil-plant system conservation.

총유효수분량은 작물이 이용할 수 있는 토양수분으로 토성, 유기물함량, 용적밀도, 토양깊이 등에 따라 달라질 수 있다. 토양유효수분율은 총유효수분량 중 현재 유효수분량의 비율로 표현하며, 총유효수분량은 포장용수량에서 영구위조점을 제외한 값으로 산정된다. 본 연구에서는 토양특성을 고려하여 지역별로 밭토양 유효수분량을 산정하여 비교・평가하였다. 지역별 토양특성 자료는 지리정보시스템(GIS)을 이용해 농림축산식품부의 팜 맵(2017)에 정밀토양도와 토양특성(토양유형, 심토 토성, 경사 등) 자료가 중첩된 자료를 활용하여 산출하였다. 그리고 지역별 심토 토성에 대한 자료는 면적가중치를 고려하였으며, 토성별 포장용수량과 영구위조점은 토양수분특성곡선 자료(엄 등, 1995)를, 용적밀도는 2017년도 농업환경변동조사 사업보고서 자료(농과원, 2018)를 이용하였다. 대상지역은 화산섬인 제주도와 울릉도를 제외한 164 개 시군을 대상으로 하였으며 유효토심은 밭작물이 물을 주로 흡수하는 깊이인 60cm를 기준으로 하였다. 밭토양 면적은 밭과 과수원으로 이용하는 면적을 합하여 활용하였다. 시군별 토양특성에 따른 밭면적 분포비율 분석결과, 식양질이 50.1%로 가장 많이 분포하였으며, 사양질(34.5%), 식질(8.7%), 미사식양질(5.9%), 사질(2.8%), 미사사양질(1.2%) 순이었다. 전국 밭토양 유효수분량은 76.5∼93.2mm 범위였으며, 평균 85.4mm 였다. 도별로 살펴보면 경기도는 93.2~82.5mm(평균 88.2mm), 강원도는 87.3~77.4mm(평균 83.1mm), 충청북도는 88.8~79.1mm(평균 86.4mm), 충청남도는 90.4~82.3mm(평균 86.3mm). 전라북도는 87.5~80.5mm(평균 85.0mm), 전라남도는 85.5~78.1mm(평균 82.4mm), 경상북도는 91.1~81.9mm(평균 85.4mm), 경상남도는 88.1~76.5mm(평균 84.7mm) 범위로 나타났다. 경기도가 가장 높았으며, 전라남도가 가장 낮게 나타났다.
