        This study was conducted to establish primary data for the stabilization assessment of expired landfill site with analysis of leachate and landfill gas Based on the results of the experiments, BOD and COD concentration of leachate became low after earlier stabilization facilities and COD/COD ratio of leachate was investigated average 0.18 in 1998. Variation of CH₄concentration of landfill gas in spring and summer were higher than autumn and winter and CH₄concentration was investigated average 14.2% in Dec. 1998.

      • 매립장내 일반 폐기물의 밀도조사에 관한 연구

        The majority of general wastes have been treated by landfill method in Korea and the landfill period of landfill site was influenced by waste's density. The aim of this study was to investigate waste's vehicle charge density and throw down density for plan, design and management of landfill site. Vehicle charge density and throw down density of total waste was 0.375 ton/ ㎥, 0.408 ton/ ㎥, respectively and incinerated ash's density was higher than the others. Difference of density with a day of the week was due to distinction of waste's composition ratio at the time of investigation. Total waste's density was extremely influenced by garbage' density. General waste's vehicle charge density and throw down density carried in SG landfill site(after '97. 9) was assumed 0.299 ton/ ㎥, 0.263 ton/ ㎥ respectively.

      • 초기 함수율 조절이 음식물쓰레기의 발효사료화에 미치는 영향

        The purposes of this study were to determine the optimum fermentation process for the feed production of garbage and estimate the practical value of fermented feed using kudzu creeper and sawdust as bulking agent. This study considered initial moisture contents, control as the fermentation process variables. The results are summarized as follows. To, solve the dewatering and sanitary problems and maintain the proper moisture contents and aerobic condition, this garbage fermentation process used kudzu and sawdust as bulking agent. The effective fermentation could be achieved at the moisture contents of 60% with bulking agent. Optimum condition of fermentation consists of moisture contents. For optimum fermentation of gravitationally dewatered garbage, the proper mixing ratios of kudzu(moisture contents : 17.3%) and sawdust (moisture contents : 13.2%) were 41% and 39%. respectively.

        This Study has been carried out to evaluate the neutralization ability of waste oyster shelles. The results of this study are summerized as following ; 1. For reactiontime, neutralization effective were investigate smally but pH variations were investigate largely for 10 minutes reactiontime. 2. pH variations with dosage of oyster shelles were small except pH 2 3. Therefore, waste oyster shelles is able to neutralize for acid wastewater.

      • 폐주물사를 이용한 중금속이온의 제거에 관한 연구

        This study was performed to investigate the utilization of waste sand for removal of heavy metal ion in industrial wastewater. The results obtained from this research showed that removal rate of heavy metal ions were excellent in the increase of waste sands amounts except Cr. If we reflected the adsorption capacity(k) and adsorption intensity(l/n) of Freundlich isotherm, we couldn't consider waste sands as a good adsorbent. But we could know that waste sands were capable of removing a part of heavy metal ion.

      • 유온감압법에 의한 슬러지의 탈수에 관한 연구

        This study was to experiment, through sewage sludge treatment by Vacuum Frying Method, the effects of reaction condition come up to sludge water content. The results are as follows 1) On accassion the sewage sludge treatment by Vacuum Frying Method, the effect of pressure come up to water content, the water content decreased when the same reaction temperature and time was lower pressure more than the normal pressure(760㎜Hg), particularly. Since pressure 280㎜Hg increased water content decrease range. Since pressure(250㎜Hg) the water boiling point down sharply a phenomenon and the lower pressure lowered the water boiling point a phenomenon, the same sewage sludge water content evaporated rapidly the lower pressure more than the normal pressure. Accordingly, a close vacuum(40㎜Hg), showed very lower water content when a short reaction temperature and reaction time. 2) On accassion the sewage sludge treatment by vacuum Frying Method, the effect of reaction time come u to sludge water content, at the same reaction pressure and temperature, relatively the water content at a low reaction temperature(90℃, 120℃) decreased small in case of a long reaction time, the water content at a high reaction temperature(150℃, 180℃) decreased rapidly in case of a short reaction time. 3) On accassion the sewage sludge treatment by Vacuum Frying Method, the effect of come up to sludge water content, at the same reaction time and pressure, increase of reaction temperature decreased rapidly the water content.

        The purpose of this research was to analyze the correlation of the characteristics of dwellers and residential satisfaction in apartment housing. The contents of this research is to identify characteristics of dwellers, which might have an influence on residential satisfaction in apartment housing. In conclusion, the number of a family, the floor level, the size of housing unit and tenure had statistically significant correlations with the residential satisfaction in apartment housing.

      • 淨化槽 슬럿지의 堆肥化에 관한 硏究

        This study was performed for composting of septic tank sludge which had been not dewatered in the various bulking aegents and investigating the condition and the adequate composting and the mixing rate. And results of the research are as follows; (1) Rice straw in the five bulking agents was the most fermentavility and the mixed rate was 1:3 in the time (2) The range of the optimum moisture content was 64.2-67.3% and air quantity was 0.8ℓ/min-㎏VS in the time (3) The coming to the time of the maximum temperature was showed between 58 and 110 hrs after inputing composter. (4) It being composting by the windows method, If the Quanlity was over 1 ㎥, the composting was successful. (5) The composting was the most quick, optimum under C/N ratio of 29.92-34.66 (6) The maximum temperature of 49-53℃ was showed under the adequate condition of each element;Moisture Content, Air Quautity, pH, CO₂ prodution quantity was 0.59-0.69m mole/day.g(VM) in the time

        In this study, the potential energy and limitation of the facility of Chungju national university are analyzed in the respect of human knowledge, nature, and visual environment. In addition, the effctiveness and problem of the existing master plan are evaluated through the investigation on the main hart and development procedure of the previous master plan of CJU. These results are compared and reflected to the plan of Vision 2003, e-STRR2010 and effective campus development plans of CJU are presented.

        This study has performed to investigate and evaluate the amount of pollutants and the status of water quality of the Hyung-San River and prediction water pollution loads. In the field survey('94.11-'95.3), mean concentrations of BOD were found 0.78-4.90ppm, respectively, which were exceeding the second grade at inflow point of Sindang stream The predicted BOD pollution loads of Hyung-San river in 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011 were 13,068.3 kg/day, 13,003.1 kg/day, 9,355.6 kg/day, 9,506.6 kg/day.
