        S. Suresh Babu,Vahiduddin Shariff,CH. M. H. Saibaba,Debnath Bhattacharyya 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of u- and e- Service, Scienc Vol.9 No.7

The extraction of similar features based on quality is called pattern discovery to the huge number of terms, phrases and noise. Identifying the better pattern discovery is the major problem to extract the accurate information from the text documents because of the noise and unwanted data present in the text documents. In this paper, pattern discovery is used to find the frequent item sets and reducing the noise from text documents and implement the advanced pattern discovery approach. In this paper, for implementation we use .txt files with unstructured data to find the efficient patterns.

      • Shade Interest Points for Dynamic Stream Object Categorization

        S. Suresh Babu,Venkata Naresh Mandhala,Siva Koteswara Rao Chinnam,Tai-hoon Kim 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.10 No.4

Discovery of investment focuses for ensuing handling is one of the fundamental parts of machine vision. Object order of pictures vigorously depends on investment point identification from which nearby picture descriptors are registered for picture matching. Since investment focuses are focused around luminance, past methodologies generally overlooked the color viewpoint. Later an approach that uses saliency-based peculiarity determination improved by a primary part dissection based scale choice strategy is created. It is utilized to lessen the affectability to changing imaging conditions, and hence it is a light-invariant investment point's location framework. Utilization of color expands the uniqueness of investment focuses. In the setting of item distinguishment, the human observation framework is regularly pulled in by contrasts between parts of pictures and by movement or moving articles. In this manner, in the feature indexing system, investment focuses give more helpful data when contrasted with static pictures. So we propose to amplify the above methodology for element feature streams utilizing Space-Time Interest Points (Stips) that uses a calculation for scale adaption of spatio-worldly investment focuses. STIP distinguishes moving questions in features and describes some particular changes in the development of these articles. A handy execution of the proposed framework accepts our case to help element streams and further it could be utilized as a part of uses, for example, Motion Tracking, Entity Detection and Naming applications.

      • User Behaviour Profiling in Cloud using One Class SVM : A Review

        Vijaya Lakshmi Paruchuri,S. Suresh Babu,P S V S Sridhar,Debnath Bhattacharyya,Hye-Jin Kim 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.10 No.9

Distributed computing guarantees to on a very basic level change the way we utilize PCs and get to and store our own specific and business data. With these new registering and correspondences models develop new data security challenges. Existing information security structures, for instance, encryption have fizzled in imagining information theft strikes, particularly those executed by an insider to the cloud supplier. We propose a substitute methodology for securing information in the cloud utilizing adversarial mimic improvement. We screen data access in the cloud and perceive unpredictable data access outlines. Right when unapproved access is suspected and after that confirmed using test questions, we dispatch a disinformation strike by giving back a considerable measure of fake information to the attacker. This secures against the misuse of the customer's real data. Trials coordinated in a neighbor-hood archive setting give confirmation this technique may give unprecedented levels of customer data security in a Cloud space.

Study on effect of welding speed on friction stir welded aluminium metal matrix hybrid composite

        P. Gopi Krishnan,B. Suresh Babu,S. Madhu,S. J. Gowrishankar,C. Bibin,S. Saran,S. Shree Ram,A. R. Sri Hari,S.Vidyasagar 한양대학교 세라믹연구소 2021 Journal of Ceramic Processing Research Vol.22 No.5

The development of aluminum series matrix hybrid composites with ceramic reinforcements has recently caught the interestof new researchers. The addition of more than one or two reinforcements in aluminium alloy leads to the fabrication of theAluminium Metal Matrix Hybrid Composite (AMMHC). The present investigation is aimed at the development of newlydeveloped AMMHC followed by friction stir welding for obtaining the improved mechanical properties. The stir castedAA6063 with reinforcement of 5%, 10% and 15% wt. Silicon Carbide (SiC) and 10% wt. Boron Carbide (B4C) werefabricated by stir casting technique and the AMMHC with 10% each of SiC and B4C showed higher mechanical properties. Further the AMMHC are joined by friction stir welding (FSW) route. A prime experimental work has been tried out in theFSW process by varying welding speed (20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 mm/min). The effect of welding speed on AMMHCs were studiedon macro and microstructural observations followed by micro hardness and ultimate tensile. Strength, in which 40 mm/minof welding speed gives better properties than other processing condition. The weldment reveals the better joint strength withthe presence of fine particle dispersion in the microstructure.

An attempt to improve the poor performance characteristics of coconut oil for industrial lubricants

        Suresh Babu Valeru,Y. Srinivas,K. N. S. Suman 대한기계학회 2018 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.32 No.4

Coconut oil is used as the base fluid for metal cutting applications because of its high natural properties compared to other vegetable oils. The major hindrances to extensive utilization of coconut oil compared to mineral oils for various metal cutting operations are its high pour point, low oxidation and thermal stability therefore further improvement in these aspects is much needed. In this work, a systematic approach to improve the cold flow behavior, oxidation and thermal stability of the coconut oil by the combination of chemical additive i.e 2,6 Di-tetra butyl phenol and diluents such as Poly alpha olefin4(PAO4), Poly (Ethylene co-vinyl acetate) (PPD) has been carried out. Based on the obtained results an improvement of cold flow behavior (least pour point) was observed with the addition of PAO4 and PPD with varying weight percentage combinations. Apart from this addition of 2, 6 Di-tetra butyl phenol as anti-oxidant (AO) in various weight percentage has led to an improvement of oxidation and thermal stability to the primarily modified coconut oil.

Adaptive Firefly Algorithm based OPF for AC/DC Systems

Babu, B. Suresh,Palaniswami, S. The Korean Institute of Electrical Engineers 2016 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.11 No.4

Optimal Power Flow (OPF) is an important operational and planning problem in minimizing the chosen objective functions of the power systems. The recent developments in power electronics have enabled introduction of dc links in the AC power systems with a view of making the operation more flexible, secure and economical. This paper formulates a new OPF to embrace dc link equations and presents a heuristic optimization technique, inspired by the behavior of fireflies, for solving the problem. The solution process involves AC/DC power flow and uses a self adaptive technique so as to avoid landing at the suboptimal solutions. It presents simulation results of IEEE test systems with a view of demonstrating its effectiveness.

A Study on Performance of 3D RC Frames with Masonry in-fill under Dynamic Loading Conditions

        R. Srinivasan,S. Suresh Babu,Sidramappa V. Itti 대한토목학회 2017 KSCE JOURNAL OF CIVIL ENGINEERING Vol.21 No.1

This paper enlightens the response or behavior of 3D RC frames with various configurations & amount of masonry in-fill, under dynamic loading conditions. A 1:3 scale, two bay three storey models of a typical office building were constructed with various locations and percentage of masonry in-fill. Components of structure ie, structural sub-assemblages of columns, beams and slabs were casted from the same materials. A series of various ground motion tests were performed on the building model using servo controlled hydraulic actuator. The dynamic characteristics, such as frequency, acceleration and amplitude were identified at each frequency level. The effect of de-bonding of masonry in-fill with RC frames with increase in base acceleration was also observed in this study. Analytical models were developed to predict the natural characteristics and dynamic properties of structure. In modal analysis, masonry in-fill was modeled as equivalent diagonal strut and thickness of strut was taken as equal to in-fill thickness. Material properties and boundary conditions were assigned suitably for in-fill.

Ionic Radii and Concentration Dependency of RE3+ (Eu3+, Nd3+, Pr3+, and La3+)-Doped Cerium Oxide Nanoparticles for Enhanced Multienzyme-Mimetic and Hydroxyl Radical Scavenging Activity

Vinothkumar, G.,Rengaraj, S.,Arunkumar, P.,Cha, Suk Won,Suresh Babu, K. American Chemical Society 2019 The Journal of Physical Chemistry Part C Vol. No.

<P>The antioxidant activity of cerium oxide nanoparticles (CNPs) depends on the concentration of oxygen vacancies and Ce3+ active sites. In the present work, we report the impact of 5 mol % trivalent rare-earth-doped (RE3+ = Eu3+, Nd3+, Pr3+, and La3+) CNPs on the oxidation state modulation and antioxidant property with respect to ionic radii. An increase in the lattice parameter, strain, and oxygen vacancy concentration was observed as a function of ionic radii. Among the various dopants in CNPs, La3+ with higher ionic radii having smaller crystallite size (7.9 nm) and higher vacancy displayed better peroxidase, oxidase, and hydroxyl radical (HO•) scavenging activities. The kinetic parameters for the peroxidase and oxidase activities were found to be superior with <I>K</I>m = 0.217 and 0.261 mM, respectively, for 5 mol % La3+-doped CNPs. To divulge the role of dopant concentration on the structural properties, we also explored using 10 and 20 mol % La3+ doping in CNPs. Because of the smaller crystallite size (6.7 nm) and higher defect level (3.12 × 1021 cm-3), 20% La3+ doping showed superior peroxidase and oxidase activities, as shown by the low <I>K</I>m values. CNPs exhibit both peroxidase and oxidase activities in a concentration-dependent manner. Moreover, CNPs exhibit concentration-dependent peroxidase and oxidase activities that can be selectively activated for various theranostic applications. Thus, our results demonstrate the crucial role of ionic radii and the concentration of RE3+ dopants on defect formation in CNPs for improved antioxidant properties of ceria.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>
