Shinichi Nakamura,Takahiro Inoue,Ryo Nakamura,Seiji Katagiri,Suthichai Noppanakeepong,Yanming Feng 제어로봇시스템학회 2009 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2009 No.8
For Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technology, the accuracy of navigation signals (time reference signal) is very important. To improve the accuracy of the navigation signals, exact time control of thesatellite and highly accurate clock synchronization between satellites and ground stations are required. JAXA plans to conduct a time synchronization experiment for future global navigation satellite technology. The objective of the experiment is to confirm whether a geostationary satellite is useful for the positioning accuracy improvement if it isused as a GNSS. This clock management technology will be utilized in the quasi-zenith satellite system, which has been studied in Japan. In this symposium, the results of a experiment and the experiment outline will be reported.

Objective: Breast cancer susceptibility gene 1 (BRCA1)-associated ovarian cancer patients have been treated with A poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitor, extending the progression-free survival; however, they finally acquire therapeutic resistance. Interleukin (IL)-34 has been reported as a poor prognostic factor in several cancers, including ovarian cancer, and it contributes to the therapeutic resistance of chemotherapies. IL-34 may affect the therapeutic effect of PARP inhibitor through the regulation of tumor microenvironment (TME). Methods: In this study, The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) data set was used to evaluate the prognosis of IL-34 and human ovarian serous carcinoma. We also used CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing technology in a mouse model to evaluate the efficacy of PARP inhibitor therapy in the presence or absence of IL-34. Results: We found that IL34 was an independent poor prognostic factor in ovarian serous carcinoma, and its high expression significantly shortens overall survival. Furthermore, in BRCA1-associated ovarian cancer, PARP inhibitor therapy contributes to anti-tumor immunity via the XCR1+ DC-CD8+ T cell axis, however, it is canceled by the presence of IL-34. Conclusion: These results suggest that tumor-derived IL-34 benefits tumors by creating an immunosuppressive TME and conferring PARP inhibitor therapeutic resistance. Thus, we showed the pathological effect of IL-34 and the need for it as a therapeutic target in ovarian cancer.

A rhodium-catalyzed reductive cleavage reaction of carbon-cyano bonds is developed using hydrosilane as a mild reducing agent. A wide range of nitriles, including aryl, benzyl, and β-hydrogen containing alkyl cyanides are applicable to this decyanation reaction. The method is also applicable to organic synthesis, in which benzyl cyanide is used as a benzyl anion equivalent and a cyano group functions as a removable ortho-directing group.

<P>The cobalt(ii) complex incorporating π-conjugated substituent, [Co(Naph-C2-terpy)2](BF4)2 (1; Naph-C2-terpy = 4′-(2-naphthoxy(ethoxy))-2,2′:6′,2′′-terpyridine), exhibits an abrupt spin transition (ST) behavior (cooperative factor <I>C</I> = 0.91) while its solvated product, 1·2MeOH, shows gradual spin crossover (SCO) behavior (<I>C</I> = 0.49). Single crystal X-ray structural analyses demonstrated that the octahedral coordination core [CoN6] in 1 shows larger distortion in both high-spin and low-spin states than solvated 1·2MeOH or another two derivatives, [Co(R-terpy)2](BF4)2 (R = 2-naphthyl (2), 9-anthracenyl (3)). The respective distortion parameters (<I>Σ</I>) are compared with those for previously reported SCO cobalt(ii) compounds. The highly-distorted [CoN6] core in 1 (<I>Σ</I> = 126 in the HS state and 101.6 in the LS state) was stabilized by strong intermolecular interactions and observed an abrupt ST behaviour.</P>

In this paper, we propose a new modulation method combining code-division multiple access (CDMA) and quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM), called CDMAQAM. It transmits QAM symbols allocated based on a CDMA signal, and it has the benefit that QAM errors can be recovered if they are in a range where they can be absorbed by CDMA demodulation. We applied the method to railway signaling and developed a CDMA-QAM rail transmission system having a transmission speed of 1500 bps using digital signal processors. We also conducted a field experiment using an actual rail and verified that the system can achieve favorable constellation characteristics.
Development of a Multi-Channel Processing Matched Filter Using FPGA for CDMA-QAM Method

At present, we attempt to apply our proposed CDMA-QAM method to railway signaling, and evaluate basic characteristics using computer simulation. In this paper, we describe development of a multichannel processing matched lter as a CDMA receiver. We noted that Walsh code is 1 or -1, and proposed the design that has no multipliers. In addition, we applied some techniques such as time-sharing processing, and optimized the design to reduce number of logic elements that an FPGA has. As a result, we show that we could implement the multi-channel processing matched lter in an FPGA.

<P>The basal plane of graphene has been known to be less reactive than the edges, but some studies observed vacancies in the basal plane after reaction with oxygen gas. Observation of these vacancies has typically been limited to nanometer-scale resolution using microscopic techniques. This work demonstrates the introduction and observation of subnanometer vacancies in the basal plane of graphene by heat treatment in a flow of oxygen gas at low temperature such as 533 K or lower. High-resolution transmission electron microscopy was used to directly observe vacancy structures, which were compared with image simulations. These proposed structures contain CO, pyran-like ether, and lactone-like groups.</P><P><B>Graphic Abstract</B> <IMG SRC='http://pubs.acs.org/appl/literatum/publisher/achs/journals/content/jacsat/2014/jacsat.2014.136.issue-6/ja4117268/production/images/medium/ja-2013-117268_0005.gif'></P><P><A href='http://pubs.acs.org/doi/suppl/10.1021/ja4117268'>ACS Electronic Supporting Info</A></P>
