실험적 진폐증에서 투여약제에 따른 면역학적 병리학적 조직변화

To access the effects of some drugs such as piperazine phosphare, azathioprine and allopurinol in the experimental pneumoconiosis, 263 rats weighted 240-320 gm was divided into the control and eight experimental groups. To each group, the turbid solution mixed free silica, talc and natural coal dust of 50 mg in 0.8 ml saline were instilled intratracheally. At the begining and 5th week of experiment, piperazine phosphate(8mg/week orally), aspirin(1.5mg/day intramuscularly), azathioprine(25mg/day orally) and allopurinol(1.5mg/day orally) were administered simultaneously, while the dust turbid solution was only given to the control group. For each group the change of body weight. dry right lung weight, cellularity including total cell, macrophage, lymphocyte and neurtrophil in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid, superoxide ion, hydroxyproline, leukotriene B₄, tumor necrotsis factor, prostaglandin E₂were examined, and observed the pathological chages in lung tissue. The results were as follow : 1. The larger amount of their instilled dust and the longer observation period, the severer pathological findings were found in the lung tissue of each experimental group. 2. The body and dry right lung wight was not significantly changed in the experimental groups compared with the control group. 3. The number of total cell in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid was markedly less in the experimental group than the control one, while no significant difference was found in the percent alveolar macrophages and lymphocytes in both groups. However, the percent of neutrophiles was usually lower than in the control group. 4. The amount of superoxide ion was frequently less in the experimental group compared with the control one. 5. The amount of hydroxyproline was significantly lower in the experimental group than in the control one. 6. The amount of leukotriene B₄was usually less in the drug administered group than in the control one. 7. The amount of tumor necrotic factor was also frequently lower in each experimental group than in the control one. 8. The amount of prostaglandin E₂was usually higher in each experimental group than in the control one.

만화 과제를 이용한 정신분열병 환자의 사회인지 능력의 측정

Objectives : This study is to investigate the hypothesis that schizophrenic patients have difficulty in inferring mental state of others. Methods : Twenty schizophrenic patients and twenty normal subjects were administered to the Cartoon Task required inferring the character's intention in a given context. Results : The schizophrenic patients showed a statistically significant impairment in the Cartoon Task. Both groups chose the card depicting a frequent everyday action significantly more rather than the similar card to the last picture in each story for wrong answers. Conclusion : These preliminary results suggest that schizophrenia is associated with a specific deficit of the cognitive ability referred to as social cognition, and this deficit can be detected not only in the acute phase as found in previous research studies, but also in remission. Also when subjects fail to appreciate what is going on in the minds of other people, they seem to rely on a socially familiar experience.

인터넷 시스템의 수행도 분석 : visual information search and structure 시각정보 탐색 및 구조에 관하여

Internet is used as a plentiful information storage in modern industrialized society. In WWW style home pages were developed to contain a large amount of information. Therefore the structure of home page is very important factor to find appropriate information in a short time interval. This paper compares the performance of three kinds of home page structures(plain type, tree type, graphic type). Experiment results show that tree type home page has the shortest information seeking time(47.16 sec.) and number of mouse click. Consequently, tree type home page is proper to show information efficient method and preferred for user oriented structuring method.

儀式으로 본 通度寺 空間動線 조사 연구

This study deals mainly with relationships between the spatial composition and the Buddhist rituals of monks at the Tongdosa temple. The results of study are summarized as followed. Many of rituals are performed in the Sangrohjun(上爐殿) and, in particular, handled in the Sulbujun(說法殿), but not performed in the Jungrohjun(上爐殿) and Harohjun(下爐殿) except for the time of Buddhist mass held in the every morning and night. The main activities of all rituals were based on the Kumkang Stupa in the past and such a tendency continues in the present time. The characteristics of temple space reflected by the movement of monks and believers who take advantage of the Kumkang Stupa's Structure in the significant rituals such as the entrance of priesthood, reception of Buddhist confirmation, Buddha's Birthday and establishment of Tongdosa Temple.

Inhibition of the Algal Growth using TiO₂-embedded Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) balls in Lab-scale Outdoor Experiment

TiO₂-embedded expanded polystyrene (TiEPS) balls with powdered TiO₂ particles embedded on the surface of EPS were developed, and the growth inhibition of Chlorella ellipsoidea, a green algae, was evaluated. The experiment was conducted using four reactors with various conditions of (A) natural sunlight, (B) natural sunlight + TiEPS balls, (C) dark, and (D) dark + TiEPS balls on the roof of the building during five days. Based on the analysis of cell number, cell morphology, concentrations of chlorophyll-a and phaeopigments, both surface reactions in heterogeneous photocatalysis and light shielding could inhibit the growth of C. ellipsoidea. The highly reactive hydroxyl radicals (OH・) from TiEPS balls degraded the lipid cell membrane through the peroxidation reaction with the light shielding, eventually resulting in cell inactivation. Although dominant inhibitory effects on the growth of C. ellipsoidea were ambiguous, TiEPS balls were feasible to prevent and inhibit the excessive growth of algae in eutrophic water body.

노령의 대퇴 전자간 골절 치료에서 압박고 나사못의 안정성 및 유용성

목 적: 노령의 대퇴 전자간 골절에서 압박고 나사못의 안정성에 영향을 주는 인자들간의 상관 관계와 골절 양상에 따른 술후 고관절 기능을 평가 및 분석하였다. 대상 및 방법: 압박고 나사를 이용하여 수술적 치료를 시행한 231명의 환자 중 6개월 이상 추시가 가능하였던 60세 이상 84명의 환자들을 대상으로 했다. 방사선적 계측은 압박고 나사못의 활강 길이 및 내반각, 가압 나사 위치, 정복 상태, 원위 골편의 내측 전위를 측정하였으며 술후 기능은 Clawson의 기능 평가표로 하였고 골절 양상에 따라 방사선 계측과 기능 회복과의 상관 관계를 평가하였다. 결 과: 임상 결과는 불안정 골절에서 양호가 10례, 불량이 23례, 안정 골절에서는 양호 40례, 불량이 11례로 안정 골절에서 임상 결과가 좋았고(p<0.001), 압박고 나사 활강은 10 ㎜ 이상일 때 양호가 4례, 불량이 21례, 10 ㎜ 이하에서 양호가 46례, 불량이 13례로 10 ㎜ 이상 활강시에 술후 결과가 불량했다(p<0.001). 다르 방사선적 계측 요인은 결과에 의미있는 차이를 보이지 않았다. 또한, 불안정 골절 중에서 전위 양상 골절의 경우 10㎜ 이상 활강이 12례, 10㎜ 이하 활강이 8례, 분쇄 양상 골절의 경우는 10㎜ 이상이 11례, 10㎜ 이하가 2례로 분쇄 양상의 불안정 골절에서 10㎜ 이상 활강이 의미있게 많았다 (p<0.001). 결 론: 10㎜ 이상의 지연 나사 활강은 고관절 기능 회복 약화를 유발시킬 수 있으며 불안정 골절 분쇄 양상 골절은 이런 지연 나사의 활강이 과도하게 유발될 수 있으므로 불안정 분쇄 양상 골절에서 압박고 나사의 단독 사용은 재고해 보아야 할 것이다. Purpose: To evaluate the relationship between fracture stability and functional results, and analyze the correlation between stability factors and the outcome in intertrochanteric fracture of the elderly. Materials and Methods: Of the 231 patients, 84 patients with age above 60 were able to follow up for minimum 6 months. We measured the sliding length of the lag screw, varus degree, position of lag screw, reduction status and medialization of distal fragment radiologically. The functional outcome of the treatment was evaluated with the Clawson's result classification and we evaluated the correlation between the radiological results of measurement and the functional recovery depending on the Evans fracture classification. Results: There were good results in 40 cases out of 51 stable fractures, and in 10 cases out of 33 unstable fractures (p<0.001). In case of sliding of lag screw more than 10㎜, good results were obtained in 4 cases, and poor in 21. And in case of sliding less than 10㎜, good results were obtained in 46, and poor in 13. (p<0.001).But there was no relationship between other radiologic factors and clinical results. In unstable type, there were 12 cases with lag screw sliding more than 10㎜ and 10 cases with less than 10㎜. In comminuted type, there were 11 cases with lag screw sliding more than 10㎜ and 2 cases with less than 10㎜(p<0.001). Conclusion: The sliding of lag screw more than 10㎜ may result in poor outcome. As in comminuted unstable pattern, sliding of lag screw might be excessive, the use of compression hip screw alone is not good treatment option.

남자 고등부 태권도 경기 내용 분석 : 발기술을 중심으로 Focused on Feet Technigues

This worker has wanted to make out various feet techinques and basic data for improving competitions by analyzing feet techniques frequencies, and effective piont scoring scale in High School Boys' national competitions. Through the study of practical examples, this worker has made these following conclusion: 1. The four different feet techniques were used at The National Olympics, The League of Middle High School Students, and The Pusan Preliminary Matches for the National Olympics in the following various frequencies ; Dolyechagi 222 times(52%), Nalaechagi 63 times(15%), Butchechagi 48 times(11%), and Dutchagi 49 times(11%). 2. An effective point scoring scale could be arranged like this : Dolychagi 45 points(55%), Nalaechagi 12 points(15%), Dutchagi 9 poins(11%), Butchechagi 6 paints(7.3%). 3. The various feet techniques and effective point scoring scale in Tae Kwon Do competitions. These conditions could be especially important for the favored winners. 4. Tae Kwon Do players should practice not only basic techniques but also various feet techniques in order to perform active and aggressive matches.

전처리방법에 따른 산화에틸렌 분석법의 평가

The limit of detection(LOD), pooled coefficient of variation(pooled CV), desorption dffciency(DE), and stability after desorption by pre-treatments was compared and evaluated for analyzing the Ethylene oxide(EO) sampling on HBr-coated Charcoal tube, The results were as follows: 1. The EO's LOD was 2,483ug/sample when using the desorptin solvent, benzene : CS2(99:1), and 1.919ug/sample after using DMF. The result of the sample that passed DMF desorption and was derivativized was 1.301ug/sample. 2. EO's pooled CV was 0.00503 when using the solvent benzene:CS(99:1), after desorption with DMF, the result was 0.00329, and the result of those derivativized by DMF desorption was 0.00514. 3. EO's DE using the solvent benzene:CS(99:1) was 92.13%, atter desorption with DMF, it was 102.75%, and the result of those studied after being derivativized by DMF desorption was 96.47%. 4. EO's stability for the sample with the solvent benzene:CS(99:1), comparing result of next-day analysis to same-day was 96.81% after desorption was 95.69% These results were in accordance with the less than 5% given by OSHA methoc 50. In conclusion, when pre-treatment of the EO in the HBr=coated charcoal, analyzing immediately after desorption by DMF is more simple, precise, and efficient than other analyzing methods, and the stabiity of the sample 24 hours after desorption was alst established.

The growth and survival of a business depend upon its proper strategic capability against the rapid change in environment. The business that well accommodates the changing environment and properly uses the resources will continue its growth. The problems in accommodating business environment are how to focus the limited corporate strategy on certain point. This study analyzed the performance of corporate and lower level functional strategy to produce the competitiveness of manufacturing company and to recommend the corporate strategic directions from the results. Consequently, business competitiveness depends upon how a business consistently precedes the alternatives of corporate strategy and the focused factory strategy. Therefore, top management should pay attention to the focused factory in product manufacture.
