MULTIVARIATE EFFECTIVENESS OF ECOLANE AND ECOHMI BASED COOPERATIVE VEHICLE-INFRASTRUCTURE SYSTEM
Qiang Fu,Yiping Wu,Xiaohua Zhao,Yang Bian,Li HaijianLi 한국자동차공학회 2023 International journal of automotive technology Vol.24 No.1
The cooperative vehicle-infrastructure system (CVIS) offers opportunities to further enhance the potential of energy saving and emission reduction for eco-driving. However, it is still not clear about the effectiveness of CVIS on promoting eco-driving nor the multivariate effectiveness of CVIS designed for eco-driving on traffic flow and safety characteristics. A dedicated ecological lane (Ecolane) and ecological human-machine-interaction (EcoHMI) based CVIS (Ecolane-HMI-CVIS) were developed based on driving simulator technology. An experiment of 35 participants was conducted to study eco-driving behavior and final utility to identify the influence of Ecolane-HMI-CVIS. The results indicated that the Ecolane-HMI-CVIS enhanced eco-driving behavior and reduced emission, with CO and NOX significantly reduced by 10.72 % and 9.83 % respectively. The Ecolane-HMI-CVIS reduced the headway and promoted vehicle operation stability, ordering, and improved traffic capacity about 10 %. No negative impact of Ecolane-HMI-CVIS was observed on traffic safety. This study developed a test platform based on driving simulator to explore the multivariate influence of Ecolane-HMI-CVIS. In addition to analyzing the overall effect of Ecolane-HMI-CVIS during the whole experimental section, its detailed influence at each key zone and in spatial change process were also analyzed. This research contributed to better understanding of the working mechanism and effectiveness of Ecolane-HMI-CVIS, and provide technical and policy references of CVIS based eco-driving for traffic management departments.

Sucrose non-fermenting-related protein kinase 1 (SnRK1) belongs to a plant serine/threonine protein kinase family, and is part of a large interactive network of signaling pathways in plants to regulate many aspects of growth and development, and its gene expressions are highly responsive to multiple external stimuli. To functionally characterize the role of different SnRK1 members in wild soybean and identify the expression patterns of novel SnRK1 promoters for transgenic research, in this study, we performed an in silico analysis of the SnRK1 gene family in wild soybean and found GsSnRK1.1 and GsSnRK1.2 are main SnRK1 isoforms in wild soybean. The promoter fragments of both GsSnRK1.1 and GsSnRK1.2 were isolated, and a series of 5′-deletion and the full-length versions of both GsSnRK1.1 and GsSnRK1.2 promoters were fused with GUS reporter gene to generate expression vectors. The GUS activities in different tissues of seedling and adult growth stages of transgenic Arabidopsis plants were determined, and the GUS activities in transgenic Arabidopsis plants under NaCl, NaHCO3, PEG, ABA, MeJA and SA were also analyzed. The results showed that GsSnRK1.1 and GsSnRK1.2 genes have different expression patterns and both promoters may contain enhancers and silencers. In addition, NaCl, NaHCO3, ABA, MeJA, and PEG treatments enhanced, whereas SA treatment decreased the GUS activity under the control of both GsSnRK1.1 and GsSnRK1.2 promoters, which may be due to the distributions of various cis-elements in both GsSnRK1.1 and GsSnRK1.2 promoter regions. These results will contribute to a better understanding of the underlying mechanisms of GsSnRK1 genes in response to various abiotic stresses, and as stress-inducible promoters, GsSnRK1.1 and GsSnRK1.2 promoters can be candidates for practical application in agriculture.

Phase-locked loops (PLLs) are the key technique for inverters to be synchronized with the PCC voltage. Typically, in the single-phase applications, the delaybased PLL is being widely used. However, for nowadays applications where the inverter may be connected to the PCC with large grid impedance, the inverter performance can be endangered, and harmonics or even instabilities are aroused. Although there are some relevant literatures, the solutions for solving the adverse impacts of delay-PLL on the system performance are still not well documented. Therefore, this paper aims to study the limitations of delay-based PLL and provide an improved approach. Through the inverter output impedance modelling, the reason why the delay-based PLL causes the instability in the weak grid case has been clearly explained. Then, the way to solve the instability caused by the PLL has been discussed, and an improved delay-based PLL has been proposed to improve the weak grid compatibility of inverters. The single-phase inverter system can then work well when the grid impedance varies widely.
Life extension analysis of high speed ball bearing based on multi-parameter coupling
Guang Zeng,Chunjiang Zhao,Xiaokai Yu,Qiang Bian,Zhigang Xiao,Bingyang Liu 대한기계학회 2021 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.35 No.4
The internal contact nonlinear characteristics caused by the quasi-static properties of high-speed ball bearing is taken as a breakthrough point. Based on the L-P fatigue life theory, the bearing parameters and the preload load are used as the constraint variables to establish an overall bearing life extension model. Then, combined with the influence of geometric parameters on the osculation, the influence mechanism between spin-to-roll ratio and the life of the bearing are studied under the individual variation of the geometric parameters. Finally, the variation law of the bearing life, frictional heat generation and spin-to-roll ratio under the coupling changes of various parameters, and the priority of each parameter on the bearing life sensitivity, are investigated. The results show that the bearing life could be prolonged when the initial contact angle and the number of rolling elements increase but the inner and outer raceway curvature radius coefficients of the bearing and the preload force reduce. And the priority order of each parameter to bearing life sensitivity is as follows: the inner and outer raceway curvature radius coefficients shows the strongest influence on the bearing life, followed by the number of balls, and then the initial contact angle. This research provides a reliable theoretical basis for the design of high-speed ball bearings and life extension technology.

Objectives: To explore the correlation between multi-slice spiral CT (MSCT) perfusion parameters and the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) as well as matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2) in breast cancer. Methods: Forty five breast cancer patients and 16 patients with benign breast tumor, both confirmed by pathology examination, were enrolled. All underwent MSCT perfusion imaging to obtain perfusion maps and data for parameters including blood flow (BF), blood volume (BV) and permeability surface (PS). Cancer patients did not receive treatment prior to surgery. The expression of VEGF and MMP-2 were examined with both immunohistochemistry and Western blotting. Results: The levels of VEGF and MMP-2 by immunohistochemistry were significantly higher in the breast cancer group (P < 0.01) than the benign tumor group. Relative OD values from Western blotting were also higher in cancer cases (P < 0.05). Similarly, the mean MSCT perfusion parameters (BF, BV, PS) were significantly higher in the breast cancer group (P < 0.01), BF and BV positively correlating with VEGF expression (r = 0.878 and 0.809 respectively, P < 0.01); PS and VEGF and MMP-2 expression were also positively correlated (r= 0.860, 0.786 respectively, P < 0.01). Conclusion: There is a correlation between breast cancer MSCT perfusion parameters and VEGF andMMP-2 expression, which might be useful for detection of breast lesions, qualitative diagnosis of breast cancer, and evaluation of breast cancer treatment.
