PURNAMASARI, Pupung,PRAMONO, Irena Paramita,HARYATININGSIH, Ria,ISMAIL, Shahifol Arbi,SHAFIE, Rohami Korea Distribution Science Association 2020 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.7 No.10

Seeing the existence of MSME needs that have still not been met although this sector is undeniably important in Indonesian economy, changes in community behaviour and the intensity of the use of technology in the community, financial technology (fintech) has a lot of potentials to become a part of the solution of the problem commonly faced by MSMEs. Therefore this research needs to be done to observe the potential of fintech in integrating MSMEs in terms of the application of technology and knowledge from the community related to fintech. By using Technology Acceptance Model, this research tries to understand the determinant factors of the fintech application used by MSME. Based on the research framework and model, path analysis method used in this research. This research uses primary data gathered by the questioner, which was distributed to MSME. From the analysis conducted, we can conclude that the external factors tested in this research could have an effect on the behaviour intention through perceived usefulness in MSME practice of financial technology. Large variation in MSME educational background, busineess age and size would become a challenge in promoting fintech application, therefore this finding suggests that fintech should be promoted by highlighting what benefits can be obtained by using fintech application.

In-hospital malnutrition among adult patients in a national referral hospital in Indonesia

        Purnamasari Dyah,Bunawan Nur Chandra,Suseno Dwi,Rinaldi Ikhwan,Dillon Drupadi HS 한국영양학회 2023 Nutrition Research and Practice Vol.17 No.2

BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Malnutrition during hospitalization is linked to increased morbidity and mortality, but there are insufficient studies observing clinical factors contributing to weight loss during hospitalization in Indonesia. This study was therefore undertaken to determine the rate of weight loss during hospitalization and the contributing factors. SUBJECTS/METHODS: This was a prospective study involving hospitalized adult patients aged 18–59 yrs, conducted between July and September 2019. Body weight measurement was taken at the time of admission and on the last day of hospitalization. The factors studied were malnutrition at admission (body mass index < 18.5 kg/m2 ), immobilization, depression (Beck Depression Inventory-II Indonesia), polypharmacy, inflammatory status (neutrophil-lymphocytes ratio; NLR), comorbidity status (Charlson Comorbidity Index; CCI), and length of stay. RESULTS: Totally, 55 patients were included in the final analysis, with a median age of 39 (18-59 yrs) yrs. Of these, 27% had malnutrition at admission, 31% had a CCI score > 2, and 26% had an NLR value of ≥ 9. In all, 62% presented with gastrointestinal symptoms, and depression was documented in one-third of the subjects at admission. Overall, we recorded a mean weight loss of 0.41 kg (P = 0.038) during hospitalization, with significant weight loss observed among patients hospitalized for 7 days or more (P = 0.009). The bivariate analysis revealed that inflammatory status (P = 0.016) was associated with in-hospital weight loss, while the multivariate analysis determined that the contributing factors were length of stay (P < 0.001) and depression (P = 0.019). CONCLUSIONS: We found that inflammatory status of the patient might influence the incidence of weight loss during hospitalization, while depression and length of stay were independent predictors of weight loss during hospitalization.

Eye Based Drowsiness Detection System for Driver

Purnamasari Prima Dewi,Kriswoyo Arie,Ratna Anak Agung Putri,Sudiana Dodi 대한전기학회 2022 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.17 No.1

Most traffi c accidents are caused by human error, i.e. drowsiness. A drowsiness detection system is then developed to respond to this situation. In this work, the drowsiness detection system is built through the OpenCV library by combining the Haar Cascade Classifi er algorithm with Blur, Canny, and Contour function. Haar Cascade Classifi er was used to detect areas of face and eyes whereas the combination of Blur, Canny, and Contour functions are used to detect the driver's eyes and analyze the opening or closing of the driver's eyes. The performance of the drowsiness detection system was tested through four variables; kernel size, threshold value, lighting condition (morning, noon, afternoon, and night), and eye's characteristic (eyeglasses or not). Based on the experiments, the best kernel size to detect the driver's eyes is 4,4. Then, the best lower threshold and upper thresholds are 70–110 and 210–240. Subsequently, the light conditions have a 20% error rate to the system. The eye's characteristic has a 16,7% error rate to the system.

      • Poster Session : PS 0297 ; Geriatrics : The Relationship of Metformin and Frailty Syndrome in Elderly with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

        ( Stevent Sumantri ),( Siti Setiati ),( Esthika Dewiasty ),( Dyah Purnamasari ) 대한내과학회 2014 대한내과학회 추계학술대회 Vol.2014 No.1

Background: Type 2 diabetes (T2DM) was characterised with insulin resistance and defi ciency, furthermore with advancing age the was also an increase in insulin resistance. Clinical studies has proven that insulin resistance and T2DM increase the incidence of frailty syndrome in the elderly. Oral antidiabetics metformin was associated with the inhibition of aging process. Eventhough, there was no data that showed the relationship of metformin therapy to frailty syndrome. Methods: This was a case control study conducted in subjects =60 years old who visited the Geriatrics and Diabetes outpatient clinic of Cipto Mangunkusumo National Referral Hospital between March and June 2013. Diagnosis of frailty was established using the fi-40 item criteria. Statistical analysis was done with SPSS 20. 0, where chisquare method was used in bivariate and logistic regression method in multivariate analysis. Results: Frailty syndrome was found in 25% of subjects (n=59), with median age of 72 years old (SD 6. 27) and median of fi-40 item score was 0. 18 (SD 0. 085). Metformin was found to have a signifi cant relationship with frailty syndrome in the elderly diabetics, which retained signifi cant value after multivariate analysis (adjusted OR 0. 043; 95% CI 0. 019-0. 099; p<0. 001). Conclusions: Metformin was associated with independently lower risk of frailty syndrome in elderly diabetics.

FVIII inhibitor surveillance in children with hemophilia A in Indonesia: a report from the Indonesian Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Working Group

        Novie Amelia Chozie,Djajadiman Gatot,Bambang Sudarmanto,Susi Susanah,Rini Purnamasari,Pudjo Hagung Widjajanto,Susanto Nugroho,Olga Rasiyanti,Dian Puspitasari,Muhammad Riza,Maria Christina Shanty Laras 대한혈액학회 2022 Blood Research Vol.57 No.4

Background Factor VIII (FVIII) inhibitor diagnosis and surveillance in Indonesia are challenging owing to geographic conditions and the lack of laboratory facilities nationwide for inhibitor assays. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of FVIII inhibitors in children diagnosed with hemophilia A (HA) in Indonesia. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted in 12 hospitals in eight provinces of Indonesia between 2020 and 2021. Factor VIII inhibitor screening was performed in a central hemostasis laboratory for all children with HA (≤18 yr) who had received a minimum of 10 exposure days to clotting factor concentrates. The FVIII inhibitor titer was determined using the Bethesda assay. Results Children (388) were enrolled in this study, including 219 (56.4%), 131 (33.8%), and 38 (9.4%) with severe, moderate, and mild HA, respectively. The prevalence of children who developed FVIII inhibitors was 37 out of 388 (9.6%). Factor VIII inhibitors were found in 25/219 (11.4%) severe, 11/131 (8.3%) moderate, and 1/38 (2.6%) children with mild HA. Thirteen children had low-titer inhibitors and 24 had high-titer inhibitors, with a median of 9.44 (1.48‒412.0) Bethesda Units. Among 13 children with low-titer inhibitors, eight underwent a confirmation test, of which five tested negative and were classified as transient. A significant difference in annual joint bleeding rate was found between patients with low and high inhibitor titers and those without inhibitors (P <0.001). Conclusion Factor VIII inhibitor prevalence in Indonesia was relatively low. However, the risk factors that may contribute to FVIII inhibitor development among Indonesian patients require further study.

Effect of premature rupture of membranes on preterm labor: a case-control study in Cilegon, Indonesia

        Ita Marlita Sari,Asri C,Adisasmita,Sabarinah Prasetyo,Dwirani Amelia,Ratih Purnamasari 한국역학회 2020 Epidemiology and Health Vol.42 No.-

OBJECTIVES: The global prevalence of preterm labor is approximately 11.1% of live births. However, preterm labor contributes to 75-80% of neonatal morbidity and mortality. The morbidity experienced by preterm infants may continue to influence their subsequent development, imposing physical, psychological, and economic burdens. Premature rupture of membranes (PROM) is a causal factor that may affect preterm birth. Previous studies have shown an association between PROM and preterm labor, but this association should be investigated in more diverse populations. Therefore, this study was conducted in Cilegon, Indonesia to determine the magnitude of the risk of preterm labor associated with PROM at Cilegon Hospital from July 2014 to December 2015. METHODS: This case-control study used data from patients’ medical records. The cases were all mothers who delivered at less than 37 weeks of gestation, while the control population comprised all mothers who delivered at greater or equal to 37 weeks. The data were analyzed using logistic regression. RESULTS: The bivariate analysis yielded an odds ratio (OR) of 2.97 (95% confidence interval [CI], 1.92 to 4.59) before controlling for covariates. The model derived through multiple regression analysis after controlling for education, history of preterm labor, and anemia resulted in an OR of 2.58 (95% CI, 1.68 to 3.98). CONCLUSIONS: Mothers who experience PROM during pregnancy were at a 2.58 times higher risk of preterm labor after controlling for education, history of preterm labor, and anemia.
