A Secure and Efficient Audit Mechanism for Dynamic Shared Data in Cloud Storage
Kwon, Ohmin,Koo, Dongyoung,Shin, Yongjoo,Yoon, Hyunsoo Hindawi Publishing Corporation 2014 The Scientific World Journal Vol.2014 No.-

With popularization of cloud services, multiple users easily share and update their data through cloud storage. For data integrity and consistency in the cloud storage, the audit mechanisms were proposed. However, existing approaches have some security vulnerabilities and require a lot of computational overheads. This paper proposes a secure and efficient audit mechanism for dynamic shared data in cloud storage. The proposed scheme prevents a malicious cloud service provider from deceiving an auditor. Moreover, it devises a new index table management method and reduces the auditing cost by employing less complex operations. We prove the resistance against some attacks and show less computation cost and shorter time for auditing when compared with conventional approaches. The results present that the proposed scheme is secure and efficient for cloud storage services managing dynamic shared data.

Professional Project and the Evolution of Non-Dominant Medicines
Vol.13 No.3
This article explores how non-dominant medical practitioners shape their own self-images and the identity of relevant medicine and in what ways fashioning of self-images and accompanying modalities of medical practice informs the social evolution of the medicines at specific times and over specific places, by means of the historical configuration of osteopathy and chiropractic in the UK and the US. Attention is directed onto motivations and pursuits for professional recognition and actual strategies and activities of non-dominant medicines and its practitioners by turning to historical instances such as osteopathy and chiropractic in the UK and the US, not least drawing focus on professional desires with regard to circumstances it faces within and without. Some non-dominant medicines as a way with which to acquire and protect the exclusive monopoly of its knowledge and practical skills, adopted various forms of professionalism project, as dominant biomedical groups pressed up non-dominant medicines by virtue of marginalizing tactics. Meanwhile, non-dominant medicines took somewhat distinctive professionalisation strategies from each other. Strategies they took were diversified depending on medical philosophy, healing modality, the degree of occupational solidarity embodied as forms of medical organisation, and especially vocational aspiration and prospect. Change of socio-medical culture and the state's policy seems to have wielded critical influenceon the determination of the ups and downs of non-dominant medicines. From the perspective of long-term time span, dominant biomedicine eventually did not have much influence on the ups and downs of marginalized medicines in so far as in the case of osteopathy and chiropractic in Englandand the U. S.

SinGiCheonHeom(身機踐驗; 신기천험), written by ChoeHangi - under the pen name of Hyegang - is seen as one of the classics that demonstrates the way in which western medicine was introduced in the late Joseon Dynasty. In terms of the history of philosophical thoughts, this book shows how Gihak - the Gi Study - was explicitly embodied in his understanding of the human body. As much, this book should be valued noticeable in terms of the exploration into the history of translation study. As a huge amount of books surged from Ming and Qing to Joseon from a point, in time, of the late Joseon Dynasty, some scholars illustrated his own ideas in the form of writings through the “re-editing of knowledge.” This type of works served as a mediator for assimilating cutting-edge knowledge at that time. The most crucial thing to be required was the ready availability of original books rather than the extent to which a writer understand them. Therefore, in order to enhance the accuracy of translation, it is needed to secure original books and evaluate a translated version against the original. At the same time, when it comes to the SinGiCheonHeom, studying on the original books should be accompanied by researching into its writers. The SinGiCheonHeom, as such, is seen as an exemplar of translation through the “re-editing of knowledge.” Furthermore, considering that this work as scientific sort was assumed to aim at the accurate transmission of knowledge, it is indispensable to look into the knowledge of related disciplines.

Below are the indications that cultural events in traditional Korean medicine nationwide give to the prospective 2013 DongUiBoGarn World traditionalㆍAlternative Medicine Expo, especially to the selection of the Expo's site. If the DongUiBoGarn Expo is held as outdoor event, it can secure merits of current local council events' advantages: linking lived experiences to natural and historical resources. As in case of the EXOM and Hanghang EXPO that are held as indoor activivies in metropolitan area, if held the DongUiBoGam Expo can secure easily large-scale academic activities and health lectures. Thus, the key point for the DongUiBoGam Expo's success will be how to combine the good points of currently-held cultural outdoor and indoor activities in the field of traditional Korean medicine nationwide.

This article examines the origin and growth of Jecheon Herbal Market(JHM). JHM was established in 1928 at the Jecheon Market. Main causes of the growth of JHM is widely considered as the fact that it was located to the sources of herbal product, domestic or wild, and its convenient access in transportation aspect. Since the Independence of Korea, the control of the import of herbal medications from abroad served for the main factor of JHM's growth. Nowadays JHM is estimated as second to Gyungdong Herbal Market in total. However, among production-oriented markets it has been ranked first.
