      • 3-isoamyl-ethyl-amino-6-methyl-7-anilino fluoran(S-205)의 열 변색 현상에 관한 열역학적 연구

        Absorption spetra of thermochromic of 3-isoamylethyl-amino-6-methyl-7-anilino fluoran(S-205) was investigated. The S-205 exists as a colorless lactone in aprotic solvents. However, the S-205 exists in the form of an equilibrium mixture of a colored zwitter-ion and a colorless lactone in protic solvents. In order to understand the interaction between the S-205 and the solvent, absorption spectra of the S-205 in various solvents were measured. The systematic increase of the λ_max of the S-205 correlate with the solvent polarity of the solvent in protic solvent and aprotic solvent. The enthalpy changes of the S-205 has also been investigated. From the variation of absorbance with temperature, the standard enthalpy changes △H_0 the equilibrium between the lactone and the zwitter-ion in various solvents have been determined. The standard enthalpy change △H_0 is approximately -7 kJ/㏖ in protic solvents. In acidic solution, the standard enthalpy change is measured to be to zero in protic solvents within the experimental error. When the carboxylic group is protonated in acidic solution, a poor interaction between the dye and the solvent is expected.

      • Spiro유도체의 화학적 성질에 관한 연구

        The effect of solvnets upon the absorption spectra of open forms of spiroanthraoxazine and spiro-6-nitropyran have been examined. For the case of spiroanthraoxazine, the visible absorption maximum shifts to longer wavelength as the polarity of the solvent is increased(i.e., positive solvatochromism). The open structure of spiroanthraoxazine, may be considered the quinoid type. In spiro-6-nitropyran, a hypsochromic shift os observed as the polarity of solvent is increased (i.e., negative solvatochromism). It is likely that the open structure of spiro-6-nitropyran is the zwitter ion type. The enthalpy changies between the closed form and the open form of spiroanthraoxazine, and spiro-6-nitropyran were measured. Wiht increasing polarity of solvent, the enthalpy changies of spiroanthraoxazine, and spiro-6-nitropyran decrease.

      • 복강경하 대장절제술을 시행 받는 환자에서 라모세트론과 온단세트론외 술 후 오심 및 구토 예방 효과 비교

        Objectives : We evaluated the efficacy of ramosetron and ondansetron for preventing postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) in laparoscopic colectomy. Methods and Materials : Eighty patients who received laparoscopic colectomy were randomly divided into two groups: R group (ramosetron 0.1mg PO) and O group (ondansetron 4mg twice IV). Injection or oral medication was administered before the induction of anesthesia in each group. Injection was administered at the end of surgery in O group. General anesthesia was induced using propofol and rocuronium, and maintained with sevoflurane, remifentanil and air (FiO2 0.5), We investigated the incidences of PONV in each group by the Rhodes index of nausea, vomiting and retching (RINVR) at postoperative 6 and 24 hours. Results : The incidence of PONV was not different between group at each time points after surgery (at postoperative 6 hours: 20% in group R, 17.5% in group 0, at postoperative 24 hours; 12.5% in group R, 7.5% in group 0). There was no difference in the severity of PONV, satisfaction, rescue drug usage. Conclusion : Prophylactic therapy with ramosetron is as effective as conventional prophylactic therapy with ondansetron for preventing PONV in general anesthesia for laparoscopic colectomy.

      • 흡착등온곡선을 이용한 동공크기분포의 결정

        It has been known that the nitrogen adsorption technique is of great value for the determination of pore size distribution of porous materials. The Kelvin equation plays a central role in pore analysis. However, in the previous methods of calculating pore size distribution from adsorption isotherm, the influence of curvatures on the value of surface tension in the Kelvin equation has not been taken into account. In this work, an improved method with the curvature dependency of surface tension taken in to consideraion has been proposed. For illustrative purposes, the pore size distributions by the use of the method are calculated from the nitrogen adsorption isotherms on the international common manganes dioxides. The cumulative surface areas obtained from the calculations are compared with the BET values used as a criterion for the vali dity of calculated results. From this comparison, it is shown that the method of calculation is more precise.

      • Priming 처리종자의 저장기간에 따른 발아력 전당함량 및 α-amylase 활력

        벼 종자의 priming처리 후 저장성을 검토하기 위하여 저장기간과 저장온도에 따라서 종자의 발아력과 저장양분 및 발아에 관여하는 주요 효소활력의 변화를 조사한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. Priming한 종자를 6개월간 저장하여도 어느 저장온도에서나 발아율의 차이가 없었다. 2. Priming한 종자에서 발아속도(T_50)가 2∼3일 빨랐으며 3개월 동안은 변화가 없었고 3개월 이후 발아속도가 약간 감소하였으나 priming 처리하지 않은 종자에 비해서 빨랐다. 3. 발아균일도는 priming 처리효과가 6개월간 계속 유지되었으며 25℃보다 저온인 17℃에서 효과가 더 크게 나타났다. 4. α-amylase 활력은 저장기간이 길수록 높았고 전당함량의 경우 3개월 이상 저장하였을때 감소하였으나 발아력에는 영향을 미치지 않았다. 5. 종자 수확후 6개월 동안은 어느 시기에 priming 처리하여 저장하여도 발아력 및 종자의 활력은 유지되었다. This experiment was carried out to determine changes of seed germination ability, total sugar, and α-amylase activity to different storage period, and temperature after seed priming treatment. In the storage during the six months, final germination rate and speed were similar to the untreated control seeds and the uniformity was continuously preserved. Germination speed(T_50) was faster than the control seeds by 2∼3 days. T_50 was a little decreased to priming effect after three months but faster than the control seeds. In the case of germination temperature 25℃, germination uniformity was decreased to long term storage periods. Total sugar content was increased to compare with the control seed during the one months at -10, 5 and 20℃ and total sugar content was decreased after two months. α-amylase activity was increased to storage of long term period and seed of storage temperature 5℃ was increased compared with -10 and 20℃. Germination ability and α-amylase activity was preserved continuously during six months after priming treatment.

      • 시멘트 製品의 品質에 관한 硏究 : 釜山市中 生産品을 中心으로 Available in Busan Area

        Cement bricks or blocks are commonly used for the bearing wall or the curtain wall. But the commercially available mass producted cement products (Cement Bricks or Blocks) have many defects as the constituents of a structure. In this study, the authors carefully examined through the experimentation and reviewed the qualities of the cement products made by the manufacturing enterprises scattering in Busan Area. The results are as follows. (1) In order that more than 80% of the products have the second class strength, the fineness modulus of aggregate should be more than 3.1 (in view point of the standard compressive strength). In case of Busan Area, the best products can be produced by use of YANGSAN (2) raw aggregate. (2) There was a big difference as much as 2.3 times in the compressive strength under loose quality control for curing even among the products manufactured by the same company (under a given condition of production method, curing, mix by volume, ratio of cement and water, and quality of aggregates.) The compressive strength is proportional to the weight and the average strength of the wet products decreased about 16.2~28.69% compared with that of the dry products. (3) If the applications (use for bearing wall, or curtain wall) according to the strength of the products of the same specifications are classified and the quality grades are allocated, the selections of the products will become easier for their suitable applications, and also the safety and longer life of the structures can be expected. (4) In the regulation of installation for the cement product enterprises, especially the installation requirements of the curing room should be emphasized.

      • 동일한 혈관 내에 발생한 이식형 약제 주입기 카테터의 위치이상

        저자들은 56세 여성 환자의 왼쪽 쇄골 하 정맥에 시행한 이식형 약제주입기 카테터의 삽입 후 발생한 비정상 위치에 대한 증례를 보고하고자 한다. 카테터의 끝은 환자의 늘 어진 가슴, 체위, 신체의 움직임, 카테터의 유동성 등의 영향으로 천자된 정맥 내에서 견인되고 뒤쪽으로 이동하였다. 환자는 어떠한 증상도 호소하지 않았지만 비정상 위치의 카테터는 심각한 합병증을 유발할 수 있기 때문에 제거되었다. 따라서 시술자는 약제주입기 삽입 전에 환자의 신체 상태와 단순 흉부 촬영상을 확인하고 카테터의 비정상 위치가 발생할 수 있는 위험 징후를 알아차려야 하겠다.

      • OBD-2의 열 변색 현상에 관한 열역학적 연구

        The termochromism of OBD-2 has been examined. The OBD-2 exists as a colorless lactone in aprotic solvents. However, the OBD-2 exists in the form of an equilibrium imxture of a colored zwitter-ion and a colorless lactone in protic solvents. When an acid is added to the solution, the OBD-2 exists and equilibrium mixture as a colorless lactone and a colored cation even in aprotic solvents. In order to understand the interaction between the OBD-2 and the solvent, absorption spectra of the OBD-2 in various solvents were measured. The systematic increase of the λ_max of the OBD-2 correlate with the hydrogen-bond donor ability of the solvent in neutral solution. The thermodynamic parameters of the OBD-2 has also been investigated. From the variation of absorbance with temperature, the standard enthalpy changes △H^0 of the equilibrium between the lactone and the zwitter-ion in various solvents have been determined. The standard enthalpy change △H^0 is approximately -7 kJ/mol in protic solvents. In acidic solution, the standard enthalpy change is measured to be to zero in protic solvents within the experimental error. When the carboxylic group is protonated in acidic solution, a poor interaction between the dye and the solvent is expected.

      • 극단 저체중 신생아에서의 동맥관 개존증 결찰술을 위한 진정맥 마취 경험 2례

        Running title: Cases of anesthesia for extremely low birth weight infant. Extremely low birth weight infants (birth weight < 1000 g) are prone to various morbidities such as respiratory distress syndrome, intraventricular hemorrhage, periventricular leukomalacia, patent ductus arteriosus, necrotizing enterocolitis and retinopathy. To accomplish successful anesthetic management, many precautions must be continuously taken during the operation. First, inspired oxygen concentration should be adjusted to avoid oxygen toxicity. Second, body temperature must be maintained adequately. Third, hemodynamic parameters should be kept stable. We report 2 cases of successful anesthetic management for extremely low birth weight infant who underwent ligation of patent ductus arteriosus at the neonatal intensive care unit.
