A Novel Design of Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor with Reduced End Effect
Wu Qingle,Wang Liqun,Yang Guolai,Tang Enling,Li Lei,Al-Zahrani Ahmed 한국전자파학회 2023 Journal of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science Vol.23 No.2
In response to the end effect of the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor, this paper proposes an improved modular motor structure. To compute its electromagnetic characteristics, a subdomain model that converts the Cartesian coordinate system into a polar coordinate system through coordinate transformation is further formulated, thus significantly reducing programming difficulty. The analytical results are compared with those of the finite element method and indicate that the subdomain model can accurately consider the effects of end and flux barriers. Moreover, the magnetic field distribution inside the motor is applied to explain the end force abatement, and the suggested flux barrier width is obtained. Finally, the modular structure is applied to a 9-slot, 10-pole permanent magnet linear synchronous motor. The simulation results show that the modular structure can effectively suppress the end effect of the linear motor, and the proposed subdomain model applies to the design of the modular motor.

The spatial distribution of flow units and reductant within a sandstone uranium reservoir is very beneficial for exploring the uranium mineralization mechanism; however, such studies have been almost neglected. As such, this paper aims to provide the sedimentological interpretation and heterogeneity models of the sandstone of the Middle Jurassic Zhiluo Formation at Shiwan outcrop area, in the eastern Ordos Basin. The outcrops are sandstone-dominated subaqueous distributary channel successions, in which five distinct architectural elements are identified and interpreted: channel units (CU), downstream accretion elements (DA), lateral accretion elements (LA), sandy bedforms (SB) and no-channelized fine-grained sediments (NFS). Within the sandstone succession, six flow units are present in the middle and lower parts of CU, or the lower parts of DA and SB elements, with their geometry to be controlled by the fourth- or third-order bounding surfaces. Moreover, the carbonaceous debris-rich zones (CDZ) are places with the highest abundance of reductant and preserve exclusively upon the basal erosional surfaces of CU and DA elements. Based on those results, a prediction model is established and shows that the formation of interlayer oxidation zone is strongly selective and confined within the CU and DA elements. The favorable site of uranium mineralization is preferentially distributed in the transition zone between the front of flow unit and the CDZ.

Background: Lung inflammation occurs in many lung diseases, but has limited effective therapeutics. Ginseng andits derivatives have anti-inflammatory effects, but their unstable physicochemical and metabolic propertieshinder their application in the treatment. Panaxadiol (PD) is a stable saponin among ginsenosides. Inhalationadministration may solve these issues, and the specific mechanism of action needs to be studied. Methods: A mouse model of lung inflammation induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS), an in vitro macrophageinflammation model, and a coculture model of epithelial cells and macrophages were used to study the effectsand mechanisms of inhalation delivery of PD. Pathology and molecular assessments were used to evaluate efficacy. Transcriptome sequencing was used to screen the mechanism and target. Finally, the efficacy andmechanism were verified in a human BALF cell model. Results: Inhaled PD reduced LPS-induced lung inflammation in mice in a dose-dependent manner, includinginflammatory cell infiltration, lung tissue pathology, and inflammatory factor expression. Meanwhile, the dose ofinhalation was much lower than that of intragastric administration under the same therapeutic effect, which maybe related to its higher bioavailability and superior pharmacokinetic parameters. Using transcriptome analysisand verification by a coculture model of macrophage and epithelial cells, we found that PD may act by inhibitingTNFA/TNFAR and IL7/IL7R signaling to reduce macrophage inflammatory factor-induced epithelial apoptosisand promote proliferation. Conclusion: PD inhalation alleviates lung inflammation and pathology by inhibiting TNFA/TNFAR and IL7/IL7Rsignaling between macrophages and epithelial cells. PD may be a novel drug for the clinical treatment of lunginflammation.
Predicament, Opportunity and Path: Reflections on the Development of Tai Chi in the New Era
LI Qun,FENG CHAO-Hai,LEI Tao,WU Zh-iheng,SU Jian-jiao 아시아건강운동학회 2021 Journal of Asian Society for Health & Exercise Vol.3 No.2
The new era has entrusted the era mission of high-quality development of Tai Chi. Standing in a new historical position, this thesis uses the method of literature and logical analysis to explore the realistic difficulties, opportunities of the times and breakthrough paths in the development of Tai Chi, which is a reflection on the breakthrough of the development of it. The research believes that the development of Tai Chi in the new era has the predicament of slow domestic and international development, the gradual dissipation of martial arts functions, and the gradual weakening of cultural attributes. However, the new era has also brought a new opportunity for the Tai Chi movement to have a clearer development blueprint, a more stable social foundation, and a healthy concept deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. The development of Tai Chi in the new era should be guided by a new pattern of domestic development and international promotion. The development of Tai Chi in the new era should be guided by the construction of a new dual-cycle pattern of domestic development and international promotion, the strategy of coordinating the balance of Tai Chi sports competition and fitness functions, and the means of the integration of school education and cultural exchange, so as to realize the high-quality development of Tai Chi.
