The objective of this study was to analyze the target genes and regulatory function of miR-34a in Megalobrama amblycephala using second-generation highthroughput sequencing and bioinformatic tools. Functional enrichment analysis was performed by gene ontology. MiR- 34a and target gene expression levels were measured in M. amblycephala fed normal and high-carbohydrate diets. The results revealed that miR-34a was highly conserved in several species, and miR-34a of M. amblycephala has a close evolutionary relationship to that of zebrafish and common carp. miRanda, TargetScan, RNAhybrid predicted 5,185, 6,282 and 2,168 target genes, respectively, and 645 target genes were in common. According to annotation information, the target genes were enriched in phosphate metabolism, glycerophospholipid metabolism, Golgi vesicle transport, cell division, and other biological processes (P < 0.05). Pathway enrichment analysis revealed that these target genes were mainly enriched in alpha-linolenic acid and linoleic acid metabolism, ether lipid metabolism, VEGF signaling pathway, Fc epsilon RI signaling pathway, GnRH signaling pathway, and MAPK signaling pathway (P < 0.05). The regulatory role of miR-34a was more significant in the liver than in the brain of M. amblycephala. MiR-34a regulates glucose lipid homeostasis induced by high glucose diets by upregulating hepatic PI3K/Akt, FOXO, and TOR signaling pathways.

External volume expansion of the recipient site by suction has been proposed as a way of improving fat graft survival. The objective of this study was to present an innovative and simple intraoperative external expansion system to enhance small-volume autologous fat grafting (40–80 mL) and to discuss its background and its mechanism of action. In this system, expansion is performed using a complete vacuum delivery system known as the Kiwi VAC- 6000M with a PalmPump (Clinical Innovations). The recipient site is rapidly expanded intraoperatively 10 times for 30 seconds each with a negative pressure of up to 550 mm Hg before autologous fat injection. During this repetitive stimulation, the tissues become grossly expanded, developing macroscopic swelling that regresses slowly over the course of hours following the cessation of the stimulus. The system sets various mechanisms in motion, including scar release, mechanical stimulation, edema, ischemia, and inflammation, which provide an environment conducive for cell proliferation and angiogenesis. In order to maintain the graft construct in its expansive state, all patients are encouraged postoperatively to use the Kiwi three times daily for one minute per session over the course of three days. The handling of this system is simple for both the patients and the surgeon. Satisfactory clinical outcomes have been achieved without significant complications.

The main purpose of this study is to examine the potential and effectiveness of Dynamic Assessment (DA) in the college English writing classroom in terms of writing motivation and strategies. In order to achieve this goal, the method of experimental comparison is adopted. The feasibility study of a DA mode was carried out on an experimental group of 33 students, while a traditional writing evaluation model was adopted for a control group of 35 students, over an 8-week period. For data collection and analysis, pre- and post-tests of the writing prompt and two questionnaires (writing motivation and strategies) were used to verify the effect of a DA teaching mode in an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) writing classroom. The results indicate that the mediated intervention from a teacher and scaffolded help from peers in a DA classroom enhance students’ writing ability, enabling them to use more diverse writing strategies by improving their intrinsic motivation. Based on these findings, this study highlights a dialectical unity of DA as a development, as well as process-oriented activities and suggests some pedagogical implications.

An investigation of the mechanism of period-doubling bifurcation in a voltage mode controlled buck-boost converter operating in discontinuous conduction mode is conducted from the viewpoint of nonlinear dynamical systems. The discrete iterative model describing the dynamics of the close-loop is derived. Period-doubling bifurcation occurs at certain values of the feedback factor. Results from numerical simulations and experiments are provided to verify the evolution of perioddoubling bifurcation, and the results are consistent with the theoretical analysis. These results show that the buck-boost converters exhibit a wide range of nonlinear behavior, and the system exhibits a typical period-doubling bifurcation route to chaos under particular operating conditions.

This study aimed to explore the role of dynamic assessment (DA) in expanding the zone of proximal development of English as a foreign language (EFL) leaners at different levels. For this purpose, we conducted a comparative study with high- and low- level EFL learners in the writing course consisting of 8 weeks of general writing practice and 6 weeks of national writing examination preparation. We administered pre- and post-tests of a writing prompt and two questionnaires to both groups. The results showed the gap in the use of writing strategies between the two groups was reduced after the DA treatment. Students, in particular those at the lower levels, made more progress and became more aware of the various writing strategies available. Furthermore, the DA intervention increased the intrinsic interest of the two groups in the English writing process and narrowed the difference in writing scores between the two groups. Although each aspect of composition increased to a varying degree, the mean value of the language for the two groups did not reach significance. On the basis of this finding, this study suggests how and when DA intervention may be needed to improve EFL learners’ writing abilities and strategies.

Industrial tourism is a new form of tourism that has emerged on the basis of the development of industry and tourism. Anshan City in Liaoning Province, renowned as “China"s capital of iron and steel”, has a long history of industrial development and rich industrial tourism resources which have laid a good foundation for the development of Anshan industrial tourism. However, it is seriously restricted by some deficiencies in ideology, products, publicity, resources and services. Based on policies, resources and cultural advantages, by improving the level of tourism awareness, enriching the structure of tourism products, increasing tourism promotion methods, improving the quality of tourism services and training professional tourism service talents can effectively promote the development of Anshan industrial tourism.
