      • A Tabu Heuristic for Multi-Trip Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows

        Vehicle Routing Problems (VRP) arise in many real-life applications within transportation and logistics. This paper describes a novel tabu search heuristic methodology for the Muilt-Trip Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows(MTVPTW). Unlike the classical vehicle routing problem, the MTVPTW permits vehicles to make multiple trips and from a central depot within a given time duration to serve(pick up/ delivery) a number of customers, each customer must be done within a time window; the drivers’ schedules must respect the maximum legal travelling time and minimum legal waiting time; the unloading time is considered. We present results of our algorithm on standard data sets such as solomon data and outline plans to improve upon these solutions.

        Fuzzy self-tuning PID control of MC<sup>3</sup> LLC resonant LED drivers

        An MC<sup>3</sup> LLC resonant light-emitting diode (LED) driver is a multi-channel constant current (MC<sup>3</sup>) output solution based on LLC resonance. Through an effective combination of multiple transformers and a DC block capacitor, this driver allows constant current outputs in multiple channels when the LED channels are unbalanced. This study considers a fuzzy self-tuning proportional integral derivative (PID) control strategy that allows for the self-tuning of PID parameters according to fuzzy inference rules designed using the relationship between the current gain and the switching frequency. Thus, when LED channels are unbalanced, the system allows a constant current output for each of the channels and controls the input voltage disturbances well. Simulation and experimental verifications are carried out, and a 20 W 4-channel constant current power supply design based on LLC resonance is obtained for the LED driver. This realizes soft-switching of the switching device, which reduces system loss and improves system efficiency. Moreover, the adjustment time of the proposed method is half that of fixed-parameter control methods, and the overshoot of the proposed method is smaller than that of fixed-parameter control methods. When compared with PID controllers with fixed parameters, the proposed method is more robust. When a system is disturbed, it recovers faster and has a smaller range of current fluctuation with the proposed method.

        Load Forecasting Based on LSTM Neural Network and Applicable to Loads of “Replacement of Coal with Electricity”

        With the complete implementation of the “Replacement of Coal with Electricity” policy, electric loads borne by urban power systems have achieved explosive growth. The traditional load forecasting method based on “similar days” only applies to the power systems with stable load levels and fails to show adequate accuracy. Therefore, a novel load forecasting approach based on long short-term memory (LSTM) was proposed in this paper. The structure of LSTM and the procedure are introduced firstly. The following factors have been fully considered in this model: time-series characteristics of electric loads; weather, temperature, and wind force. In addition, an experimental verification was performed for “Replacement of Coal with Electricity” data. The accuracy of load forecasting was elevated from 83.2 to 95%. The results indicate that the model promptly and accurately reveals the load capacity of grid power systems in the real application, which has proved instrumental to early warning and emergency management of power system faults.         Hepatitis B Virus Core Protein Mediates the Upregulation of C5α Receptor 1 via NF-κB Pathway to Facilitate the Growth and Migration of Hepatoma Cells

        Purpose C5α receptor 1 (C5ΑR1) is associated with the development of various human cancers. However, whether it is involved in the development of hepatitis B virus (HBV)–related hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is poorly understood. We explored the expression, biological role, and associated mechanisms of C5AR1 in HBV-related hepatoma cells. Materials and Methods The expression of C5ΑR1 mediated by HBV and HBV core protein (HBc) was detected in hepatoma cells. The function of nuclear factor кB (NF-κB) pathway in HBc-induced C5AR1 expression was assessed. The roles of C5ΑR1 in the activation of intracellular signal pathways, the upregulation of inflammatory cytokines, and the growth and migration of hepatoma cells mediated by HBc, were investigated. The effect of C5α in the development of HCC mediated by C5AR1 was also measured. Results C5ΑR1 expression was increased in HBV-positive hepatoma cells. Dependent on HBc, HBV enhanced the expression of C5ΑR1 at the mRNA and protein levels. Besides, HBc could promote C5ΑR1 expression via the NF-κB pathway. Based on the C5ΑR1, HBc facilitated the activation of JNK and ERK pathways and the expression and secretion of interleukin-6 in hepatoma cells. Furthermore, C5ΑR1 was responsible for enhancing the growth and migration of hepatoma cells mediated by HBc. Except these, C5α could promote the malignant development of HBc-positive HCC via C5AR1. Conclusion We provide new insight into the mechanisms of hepatocarcinogenesis mediated by HBc. C5ΑR1 has a significant role in the functional abnormality of hepatoma cells mediated by HBc, and might be utilized as a potential therapeutic target for HBV-related HCC.
