      • A Method of Plagiarism Source Retrieval and Text Alignment Based on Relevance Ranking Model

        Leilei Kong,Zicheng Zhao,Zhimao Lu,Haoliang Qi,Feng Zhao 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Database Theory and Appli Vol.9 No.12

The problem of text plagiarism has increased because of the digital resources available on the World Wide Web. Source Retrieval and Text Alignment are two core tasks of plagiarism detection. A plagiarism source retrieval and text alignment system based on relevance ranking model is described in this paper. Not only the source retrieval task but also the text alignment task is all regarded as a process of information retrieval, and the relevance ranking is used to search the plagiarism sources and obtain the candidate plagiarism seeds. For source retrieval, BM25 model is used, while for text alignment, Vector Space Model is exploited. Furthermore, a plagiarism detection system named HawkEyes is developed based on the proposed methods and some demonstrations of HawkEyes are given.

A method for evaluating the stiffness of a cabin suspension system for fork lift trucks

Leilei Zhao,Changcheng Zhou,Yuewei Yu,Fuxing Yang 대한기계학회 2016 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.30 No.10

The stiffness parameters of cabin suspension have an important effect on the comfort of fork lift trucks. Analysis of the cabin system of fork lift trucks often requires the retrieval of the stiffness parameters of cabin suspension systems. Convenient methods of retrieving stiffness parameters without dismantling the cabin suspension system cannot be obtained unless a special bench test is conducted. This process is inconvenient for researchers and technicians. A cabin model with three degrees of freedom was constructed, including a simulation model, to provide a convenient method for retrieving stiffness parameters. A model for the identification of stiffness parameters was established on the basis of the test data and the simulation model. The stiffness parameters were identified through a case study and the values retrieved coincide with the test results. The results show that the method built is reliable and provides an effective way of retrieving the stiffness parameters of cabin suspension for fork lift trucks.

Synergistic Protective Effects of Different Dietary Supplements Against Type 2 Diabetes via Regulating Gut Microbiota

        Leilei Yu,Xingting Zhou,Hui Duan,Ying Chen,Shumao Cui,Yuzheng Xue,Renmei Guo,Yuzheng Xue,Fengwei Tian,Jianxin Zhao,Hao Zhang,Qixiao Zhai,Wei Chen 한국식품영양과학회 2021 Journal of medicinal food Vol.24 No.3

Diabetes mellitus is a global health problem, and its prevalence continues to increase. Dietary supplements, including probiotics, prebiotics, and plant extracts, have been shown to alleviate diabetes. In this study, the synergistic effects of two types of dietary supplements were investigated in a mouse model of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Sixty mice were divided into the following six groups: control, model (induced by a high-fat diet and intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin), drug (metformin), probiotic (Lactobacillus spp.), formula A (probiotics, plant extracts, and soybean peptide), and formula B (probiotics, prebiotics, and soybean peptide). All three dietary interventions (probiotic, formula A, and formula B groups) significantly reduced the blood glucose level and oral glucose tolerance level and effectively improved some biochemical parameters (e.g., chronic inflammation, oxidative stress, and blood lipid level) and regulated gut microbiota. Notably, formula B exhibited a better ability on reducing the blood glucose level, regulating the gut microbiota, and increasing the short-chain fatty acid levels compared with the probiotics alone and formula A. Thus, formula B may exert synergistic protective effects against T2DM through a mechanism involving probiotics and prebiotics of gut microbiota regulation. This study provides a theoretical basis for the application of probiotic dietary supplements to the treatment of T2DM.

A new lightweight network based on MobileNetV3

( Liquan Zhao ),( Leilei Wang ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2022 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.16 No.1

The MobileNetV3 is specially designed for mobile devices with limited memory and computing power. To reduce the network parameters and improve the network inference speed, a new lightweight network is proposed based on MobileNetV3. Firstly, to reduce the computation of residual blocks, a partial residual structure is designed by dividing the input feature maps into two parts. The designed partial residual structure is used to replace the residual block in MobileNetV3. Secondly, a dual-path feature extraction structure is designed to further reduce the computation of MobileNetV3. Different convolution kernel sizes are used in the two paths to extract feature maps with different sizes. Besides, a transition layer is also designed for fusing features to reduce the influence of the new structure on accuracy. The CIFAR-100 dataset and Image Net dataset are used to test the performance of the proposed partial residual structure. The ResNet based on the proposed partial residual structure has smaller parameters and FLOPs than the original ResNet. The performance of improved MobileNetV3 is tested on CIFAR-10, CIFAR-100 and ImageNet image classification task dataset. Comparing MobileNetV3, GhostNet and MobileNetV2, the improved MobileNetV3 has smaller parameters and FLOPs. Besides, the improved MobileNetV3 is also tested on CPU and Raspberry Pi. It is faster than other networks

ANALYTICAL DESCRIPTION OF RIDE COMFORT AND OPTIMAL DAMPING OF CUSHION-SUSPENSION FOR WHEEL-DRIVE ELECTRIC VEHICLES

        Fuxing Yang,Leilei Zhao,Yuewei Yu,Changcheng Zhou 한국자동차공학회 2017 International journal of automotive technology Vol.18 No.6

To provide initial design values of seat cushion and chassis suspension damping for wheel-drive electric vehicles (WDEVs), this paper presents an analytical estimation method and a practical damping parameters design method. Firstly, two formulae of the human body vertical acceleration in terms of the power spectrum density (PSD) and the root mean square (RMS) are deduced for WDEVs. Then, the coupling effects of the key vehicle parameters on ride comfort are revealed. Finally, with a practical example, the damping parameters of the cushion and the suspension are initially designed and analyzed. The results show that when every 10.0 kg increases for motor mass, the optimal damping values of the cushion and the suspension should be reduced by about 15.0 Ns/m and 50.0 Ns/m, respectively. However, the RMS acceleration increases 0.017 m/s2 with a decrease of 2.5 % for ride comfort.

Physiological Characteristics of Lactobacillus casei Strains and Their Alleviation Effects against Inflammatory Bowel Disease

( Yang Liu ),( Yifeng Li ),( Xinjie Yu ),( Leilei Yu ),( Fengwei Tian ),( Jianxin Zhao ),( Hao Zhang ),( Qixiao Zhai ),( Wei Chen ) 한국미생물생명공학회(구 한국산업미생물학회) 2021 Journal of microbiology and biotechnology Vol.31 No.1

Lactobacillus casei, one of the most widely used probiotics, has been reported to alleviate multiple diseases. However, the effects of this species on intestinal diseases are strain-specific. Here, we aimed to screen L. casei strains with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)-alleviating effects based on in vitro physiological characteristics. Therefore, the physiological characteristics of 29 L. casei strains were determined, including gastrointestinal transit tolerance, oligosaccharide fermentation, HT-29 cell adhesion, generation time, exopolysaccharide production, acetic acid production, and conjugated linoleic acid synthesis. The effects of five candidate strains on mice with induced colitis were also evaluated. The results showed that among all tested L. casei strains, only Lactobacillus casei M2S01 effectively relieved colitis. This strain recovered body weight, restored disease activity index score, and promoted anti-inflammatory cytokine expression. Gut microbiota sequencing showed that L. casei M2S01 restored a healthy gut microbiome composition. The western blotting showed that the alleviating effects of L. casei M2S01 on IBD were related to the inhibition of the NF-κB pathway. A good gastrointestinal tolerance ability may be one of the prerequisites for the IBD-alleviating effects of L. casei. Our results verified the efficacy of L. casei in alleviating IBD and lay the foundation for the rapid screening of L. casei strain with IBD-alleviating effects.

Modeling and Analyzing Per-flow Throughput in IEEE 802.11 Multi-hop Ad Hoc Networks

( Lei Lei ),( Xinru Zhao ),( Shengsuo Cai ),( Xiaoqin Song ),( Ting Zhang ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2016 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.10 No.10

In this paper, we focus on the per-flow throughput analysis of IEEE 802.11 multi-hop ad hoc networks. The importance of an accurate saturation throughput model lies in establishing the theoretical foundation for effective protocol performance improvements. We argue that the challenge in modeling the per-flow throughput in IEEE 802.11 multi-hop ad hoc networks lies in the analysis of the freezing process and probability of collisions. We first classify collisions occurring in the whole transmission process into instantaneous collisions and persistent collisions. Then we present a four-dimensional Markov chain model based on the notion of the fixed length channel slot to model the Binary Exponential Backoff (BEB) algorithm performed by a tagged node. We further adopt a continuous time Markov model to analyze the freezing process. Through an iterative way, we derive the per-flow throughput of the network. Finally, we validate the accuracy of our model by comparing the analytical results with that obtained by simulations.
