        이황화탄소 폭로 남성 근로자의 진동감각 역치에 관한 연구

        This study was conducted on 367 male workers to evaluate the change of vibration perception threshold(VPT) according to exposure degree to carbon disulfide. VPT was measured on both metacarpal bones of index and little fingers and on fibular malleoli by Vibrometer(Rion, on 125Hz). The exposure degree was classified by the name of department. Workers in department 2 had been exposed to carbon disulfide, those in department 3 had been exposed to undetectable concentration of carbon disulfide. The results were as follows: 1. The mean values of VDT of metacarpal(MC) bones showed dose-response pattern, i.e., the mean values of VPT at department 1 were highest, and those of VPT at department 3 were lowest with similar work duration or age. But the mean values of VPT of fibular malleoli(FM) showed dose-response patter only in workers having above 5 years of work duration or whose age were above 30. 2. The mean values of VPT of MC bone of workers increased by age. 3. There were statistically significant difference in mean values of VPT of MC bone only in workers having 5-10 year work duration. And there were statistically significant difference of mean values of VPT of left 2nd and 5th MC bone in workers whose age was 30's, of right 2nd MC bone in those whose age was 40's, and of left 2nd MC bone in those whose age was 50's. 4. The variables affecting VPT significantly were department and age(or age group) both in multiple regression and general linear model. The department showed to have more effect to VPT than age in multiple regression, but age group showed to have more effect to VPT than department in general linear model. 5. The variables were transformed to indicator variable to do logistic regression analysis. department 1, 2, 3 were classified into high exposure(spinning department) and low duration was classified into long(above 10 years) and short. The exposure and age were significant variables by logistic regression analysis. Odds rations of department and VPT on metacarpal bones or malleoli were 2.7-3.2 and VPT those were 2.6 or 2.7. Odds ratio of age and abnormality of VPT on any point was 3.3(1.59-6.8), and that of department and VPT was 2.8(1.5-5.5). We concluded that exposure of carbon disulfied was significantly associated with reduction of VPT regardless of age; and that the test of VPT would be useful tool for screening and early detection in neuropathy by carbon disulfide or other neurotoxic chemicals, even though it is simple and cheap.

        The purpose of study is to testify propriety of alternative cogeneration system with economic evaluation. As cogeneration system has very high energy efficiency, it is recommended as a good solution in energy saving, relieving peak load of national grid and preventing greenhouse effect. But, established Duel fuel cogeneration system emit NOx gas and have low efficiency. Therefore, this study evaluate economical efficiency of changing dual fuel cogeration system with exclusive LNG cogeneration system. This study process is: 1. Survey H-building's general property and energy performance 2. Calculate electrical and thermal load to use fundamental data. 3. Analyze economical efficiency wit ROI(Return os Investment) 4. Make a actual prediction from responsiveness analisis about price fluctuation.

      • 황해 동남 해역의 수괴지표성 요각류 및 모악류의 분포와 수괴특성

        Distribution of indicator species of copepods and chaetognaths were studied as an indicator species of water mass in the southeastern area of the Yellow Sea. Undinula darwini, Lucicutia flavicornis, Pleuromamma gracilis, Euchaeta resselli, Euchaeta plana and Sagitta enflata were found to be reliable indicator species for determining warm water mass. Of these species, E. plana and E. russelli have a weak tolerance on the low temperature. Sagitta crassa was indicator species of neritic waters: Sagitta bedoti was that of mixing waters. Centropages agdominalis represented neritic cold waters. In February U. darwini, L. flavicornis, P. gracilis, E. russelli, E. plana and S. enflata occurred in the western waters of Cheju-Do where warm waters over 14℃ occupied. Centropages abdominalis occurred in the northern area beyond Chindo with water temperature less than 10℃. E. plana, E. russelli and S. bedoti were found at the regions between Cheju-Do and Chindo where the water temperature was 12∼14℃ corresponding to the mixing waters. Based on cluster analysis and T-S diagram in February three different water masses were identified from the south to the north. In August, water masses were analyzed at two different layers, 0∼20m and 20m∼bottom layers, separated by thermocline depth. In 0∼20m layer, E plana and E. russelli were found from the western waters of Cheju-Do to Daehuksando. In 20m∼bottom layer, E. russelli and E. plana occurred at the northwestern waters of Cheju-Do with the water temperature warmer than 12℃. C. abdominalis was found at the northern area beyond Chindo. Based on the cluster analysis and T-S diagram in August three different water masses at 0∼20m and 20m∼bottom layers were identified from the coast to the offshore. C. abdominalis was found at the adjacent water of Chindo at 0∼20m layer and the northern area beyond Chindo at 20m∼bottom layer. This fact suggested that the cold water mass existed at the adjacent waters of Chindo in summer.

        In the visible region of spectral distribution, the photoconductivity of long wavelength in amorphous Se thin films showed an increase but that of short wavelength showed a decrease. After the sample was illuminated with high intensity white light for three hours at low temperature, we observed that the magnitude of the photoconductivity depended only on the spectral composition of the incident light and the dark conductivity showed a strong dependence on the wavelength to which the sample had been exposed beforehand at 100 K, which is called an anomalous photoconductivity. We believe that the mercuries in amorphous selenium film have generated the long-life traps contributing to the anomalous photoconductivity of samples. The height of the barrier generated by the long life traps was 2.4 eV

        放射線이 생쥐生殖細胞에 미치는 影響에 關한 硏究

        The objectives of present study is to investigate genetic damage of radiation in mammalian male germ cell and to establish available screening method for determining genetic hazard by radiation. Several methods were employed to measure the genetic damage of radiation as follows: Sperm head counts, frequency occurrence of sperm with abnormal head shape, fertility, activity of LDH-X, and the induction of unscheduled DNA synthesis (U.D.S.) in male mouse were performed with the passing of time after irradiation by making use of the sequence of event that occurs during spermatogenesis. Sperm head counts and activity of LDH-X in testes were gradually reduced by increased radiation dose and with the passing of the time after irradiation. Frequency occurrence of sperm with abnormal head shape, sterile period, and the induction of unscheduled DNA synthesis were increased by increased radiation dose. It is suggested that since germ cell is a direct reflection of genetic complement, the use of male germ cell is rapid and convenient method for measuring genetic damage by radiation.

        The effect of mercury impurities in amorphous selenium films have been observed. The photoconductivity of amorphous selenium films activated with mercury have been observed negatively at room temperature, and it was changed positively at low temperature. The energy band gap of amouphous selenium films doped with mercury impurities was decreased from 2.1eV to 2.03eV, and the depth of mercury traps was about 2.26 eV.

        A comparative study of the deviation of the menton on posteroanterior cephalograms and three-dimensional computed tomography

        Purpose: Facial asymmetry has been measured by the severity of deviation of the menton (Me) on posteroanterior (PA) cephalograms and three-dimensional (3D) computed tomography (CT). This study aimed to compare PA cephalograms and 3D CT regarding the severity of Me deviation and the direction of the Me. Materials and Methods: PA cephalograms and 3D CT images of 35 patients who underwent orthognathic surgery (19 males and 16 females, with an average age of $22.1{\pm}3.3years$) were retrospectively reviewed in this study. By measuring the distance and direction of the Me from the midfacial reference line and the midsagittal plane in the cephalograms and 3D CT, respectively, the x-coordinates ($x_1$ and $x_2$) of the Me were obtained in each image. The difference between the x-coordinates was calculated and statistical analysis was performed to compare the severity of Me deviation and the direction of the Me in the two imaging modalities. Results: A statistically significant difference in the severity of Me deviation was found between the two imaging modalities (${\Delta}x=2.45{\pm}2.03mm$, p<0.05) using the one-sample t-test. Statistically significant agreement was observed in the presence of deviation (k=0.64, p<0.05) and in the severity of Me deviation (k=0.27, p<0.05). A difference in the direction of the Me was detected in three patients (8.6%). The severity of the Me deviation was found to vary according to the imaging modality in 16 patients (45.7%). Conclusion: The measurement of Me deviation may be different between PA cephalograms and 3D CT in some patients.
