Diagonally-reinforced Lane Detection Scheme for High-performance Advanced Driver Assistance Systems

In this paper, several optimizations are proposed to enhance the quality of lane detection algorithms in automotive applications. Considering the diagonal directions of lanes, the proposed limited Hough transform newly introduces image-splitting and angle-limiting schemes that relax the number of possible angles at the line voting process. In addition, unnecessary edges along the horizontal and vertical directions are pre-defined and removed during the edge detection procedures, increasing the detecting accuracy remarkably. Simulation results shows that the proposed lane recognition algorithm achieves an accuracy of more than 90% and a computing speed of 92 frame/sec, which are superior to the results from the previous algorithms.

PC Adapter는 Session까지의 OSI protocol suite를 Inteligent board 형태로 구현한 통신 장비이다. PC Adapter가 OSI시장에서 실질적으로 쓰이기 위해서는 PC Adapter상에서의 사용될 수 있는 OSI 상위 계층 및 Application이 필요한데, 본 논문은 이러한 관점에서 PC Adapter 위에 OSI 범용 통신 software인 ISODE를 접목시킨 사례에 대하여 기술한다.
직접교육비의 산업연관효과를 고려한 교육의 사회적 수익률 연구

본 연구는 개인이 교육을 받느냐 아니면 다른 재화 및 서비스를 소비하느냐에 따라 국내총생산에 차이가 발생할 수 있다는 산업연관분석의 관점을 활용해 이러한 차이를 교육의 사회적 수익률 계산에 포함하고자 하였다. 그리고 이렇게 조정된 교육의 사회적 수익률이 기존 방식과 어떠한 차이가 있는지 그리고 정부는 조정된 교육의 사회적 수익률에 기초해 교육재정을 추가로 지원하는 경우 준거는 어떠해야 하는지 등을 분석하였다. 이러한 연구과정을 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 먼저 산업연관분석 관점에서 볼 때, 교육과 여타 재화 및 서비스에 대한 개인 지출행위에 따른 산업연관효과의 차이는 사회적 수익률 계산시 고려되어야 한다. 둘째, 직접교육비의 산업연관효과를 고려하는 경우 교육의 사회적 수익률은 현재보다 상승할 여지가 있다. 셋째, 정부의 교육재정 확대는 정부지출로 감소된 교육의 사회적 수익률을 상쇄할 수 있을 만큼 임금이 상승한다면 지지받을 수 있다. 넷째, 정부가 사회적 수익률 관점에서 재정지출 분야를 결정한다면 직접교육비의 산업연관효과를 고려하는 경우 여타 분야에 비해 교육분야에 대한 재정지출을 확대할 근거가 있다. This study aims to adjust social rate of return calculation regarding inter-industry effect of direct educational cost. It analysed the difference between adjusted social rate of return calculation and original social rate of return calculation. And it analysed the standard for the government to support direct educational cost to the students additionally based on the adjusted social rate of return calculation. In the view of inter-industry analysis, we should regard the difference of inter-industry effect between education service and the other goods calculating the social rate of return. Social rate of return will rise more than now if inter-industry effect of direct educational cost can be included in the social rate of return calculation. Government's additional educational expenditure is proper if earnings rise enough to surpass decrease of the social rate of return. Government can support more money on the education than other field because value added inducement coefficient of education is the highest in the 28 industry field.

대학원 재정지원사업의 효과에 관한 추론적 연구: 세계수준의 연구중심대학(WCU) 육성사업 사례

The purpose of this study is to infer how is the effect of a governmental funding project to graduate schools by taking an example of World Class University Project s potential impact on the change of world university rankings in an international university ranking survey. Systematic results show that WCU contributes to improving academic peer reviews for both individual and institutional standings and discipline-based rankings. The potential effect of improving world rankings of participating universities could be ascribed to relatively higher weight of the survey to international peer review and invitation of world class scholars to the participating universities, which is a core device of the project. This implies a need to affirmatively utilize WCU foreign scholars over the course of facilitating international academic networking. The results should also be taken into consideration by universities and the government when developing evaluation systems and restructuring the project.
ISODE Network driver 확장을 위한 설계 및 구현

ISODE는 유럽, 미국 등에서 많이 사용되고 있는 개방형 통신(Open Systems Interconnection) 소프트웨어로서 X.25, TCP/IP등의 네트워크 서비스하에서 운용되도록 되었다. 본 논문에서는 ISODE가 운용될 수 있는 네트워크 서비스를 KERMIT을 link level protocol로 이용하여 asynchronous 환경으로 확장하였으며 따라서 ISODE가 Modem 등을 이용하는 통신 환경에서 사용될 수 있도록 하였다.
Development of a novel hanging system in PC and Deck plate slab structure

In this study, a novel hanging system in precast concrete and deck plate slab was designed and developed to the overcome disadvantages of the conventional anchoring system. The dovetail hanging system has benefits such as a short installation time, an improvement of workability, no dust formation, and no tools required for assembly. In order to optimize the shape and dimensions of the dovetail hanging system, the strength and behavior of the dovetail hanging system considering different design parameters was analyzed by the finite element method. The experimental study was conducted to evaluate the strength of the dovetail hanging system. The vertical and tangential loads carrying capacity of dovetail deck plate were improved by 15% by optimizing the dove deck shape and system configuration by performing FEM analysis and experiments.
Serpentine Microstrip Lines With Zero Far-End Crosstalk for Parallel High-Speed DRAM Interfaces

<P>Serpentine microstrip lines are proposed to eliminate the far-end crosstalk in parallel high-speed interfaces by increasing the capacitive coupling ratio to equal the inductive coupling ratio. Zero far-end crosstalk voltage waveform and zero crosstalk-induced jitter (CIJ) were achieved on an FR4 printed circuit board, by adjusting the unit section length of the serpentine structure. Application of the proposed serpentine microstrip lines to the 2-drop stub series terminated logic DRAM channel increased the maximum data rate from 0.9 to 1.4 Gb/s and reduced CIJ by ~ 78 ps at 3.3 Gb/s.</P>
