        소아의 상완골 원위부 과간 골절

        상완골 원위부 과간 골절은 소아에서는 매우 드물게 발생되는 골절로 대부분 주관절의 굴곡상태로 주관절 후방부에 직접적인 충격에 의해 발생하는 것으로 보고되고 있다. 전위가 없거나 경미한 경우 도수적 정복술 혹은 도수적 정복술 후 경피적 핀고정술을 시행하며, 전위가 심한 골절이거나 도수적 정복술이 불가능한 경우 관혈적 정복술 후 핀고정술을 시행하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 저자들은 전위된 상완골 원위부 과간 골절 환아 2예에서 각각 도수적 정복술과 관혈적 정복술 후 K 강선 고정술을 시행하여 만족한 결과를 얻었기에 보고하는 바이다. Intercondylar fractures of the distal humerus are very rare in children. The pattern of the fracture would suggest that the mechanism of injury involves a fall directly on the flexed elbow. Most agree that the undisplaced fracture can be managed conservatively. With increasing displacement and comminution, the opinions tend to differ. We suggest that closed reduction with percutaneous K wire pinning and open reduction with percutaneous K wire pinning offer a satisfactory methods by which to treat displaced intercondylar fracture in children.

        Methoxypolyethylene glycol of 5,000 dalton were covalently atteched to calf adenosine deaminase using cyanuric chloride as the coupling agent. The modified enzyme demonstrates altered catalytic properties such as shifts ill the pH and temperature optima, an decrease in the Michaelis-Menten constant and lowered Vmax in comparison with the native enzyme. The electroporetic mobility of PEG-ADA is greatly decreased in comparison to the unmodified enzyme.

        경북지역 가축에서 분리한 Salmonella 속균의 혈청형 분포 및 약제 감수성

        The present study was conducted to investigate the prevalence of serotypes and antimicrobial susceptibility of Salmonella isolated from various domestic animals in Gyeongbuk Province during the period from January to December 2000. From the 3,141 animal samples, 51 (1.6%) Salmonella spp. were isolated and belonged to 8 serotypes. Serotypes with decreasing order of prevalence were S. enteritidis (17 isolates; 29.6%), S. agona (11; 20.3%), S. rissen (8; 14.8%), S. gallinarum (4; 7.4%), S. derby (3; 5.5%), S. tvphirmvium (2; 3.7%), S. travis (1; 1.8%), S. montevideo (1; 1.8%) and untypable (4; 12.9%). Antimicrobial susceptibility tests showed that most isolates were susceptible to amikacin (loo%), ampicillin (92.2%), cephalothin (90.2%), chloramphenicol (96.1%), ciprofloxacin (92.2%), genta- micin (92.2%), kanamycin (98.0%), norfloxacin (92.2%), bimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole (100%) and tobramycin (100%). However, antimicrobials to which the high percentage of isolates were resistant were sbeptomycin (37.2%) and tetracycline (47.1%).

        The main objectives of this studies are to present the most desirable rice processing complex model system in a given our situations by comparision and analyzing the major factors and, also recommend the future prospect of the rice processing complex in Korea. There are 3 different rice processing complex models in Korea. Those are concrete bin, flat type steel bin and square bin. These systems have a lot of differences and have their own characteristics such as capital requirement, efficiency, storage capacity and quality controls. The major problems of the existing rice processing centers in Korea are high fixed cost and the unbalnced systems. Following is summary to solve this problems: 1. Development of the large scale harvester and high speed continuous dryer. 2. Quality inspective system of bulk grain and large scale temporary storage facilities. 3. Large size readjustment of arable land. 4. Select the convenient location of rice processing center and formulation of well equipment facilities.

      • 구루텐을 사용해 제조한 새알심의 물성

        Adzuki-bean porridges containing Sealsim made of gluten and wet grinded glutinious rice were produced and sterilized under condition of 120℃ for 20 min. This study examined rheological properties of Sealsim in adzuki-bean porridge under room temperature for 35 days. The results summarized as follows. Sealsim made by mixture 1 without arrowroot starch showed better quality than that made by mixture 2 containing arrowroot starch. Sealsim dried under 100℃ for 20 min. showed better quality for early 5 days. But the quality was decreasing continuously and became similiar after 30 days.

        The purpose of this study is to investigate how a long-term training affect a physique and a physical strength on two groups of being trained and untrained. There are 11 items divided under as a factor of the physique and 12 items as a factor of the physical strength to be measured and compared the relationship between two factors. The results of this study are as follows: 1.The most significant differences statistically among factors of the physique in this study appears in chest, lower limb length and upper arm girth. 2.In case of the physical strength, there are significant differences in vertical jump, side step, sit-up, chinning bar, toe touching and mobility tests Like above the results showing, it causes that trainees have been more grown up than untrainees in the development of Staying power, muscular power and promptitude. In addition, there are a lot of benefit to keep the continuant exercises for the development of the body and the physical strength

        요추간판 탈출증 환자의 수술전,후 및 안정 회복에 따른 요부 등척성 신근력의 변화

        The purpose of this study was to determine the quantitative assessment of lumbar extension strength change for pre-operation, post-operation and following 4 week rest in hernia-operated patients. Twenty-four(11 males and 13 female) subjects participated and was tested at 3 times for pre-operation, post-operation and following 4 week rest. Each test involved the measurement of maximum voluntary isometric torque at seven degrees(72˚, 60˚, 48˚, 36˚, 24˚, 12˚, 0˚) of lumbar flexion using the Medx lumbar extension machine. There was no significant improvement of lumbar extenstion strength between pre-operation and post-operation for male at all degrees but for female significant increase was appeared at major degrees except 48˚, 0˚ between pre-operation and post-operation and at all degrees between pre-operation and following 4 week rest. Result further on body weight ratio show same results except that there was significant increase for female at all degree except 0˚ between pre-operation and post-operation.

      • 성견 치은에서 90% Phenol을 이용한 멜라닌 색소의 제거에 관한 연구

        In this present study, the healing process and the recurrence of pigmentation were evaluated clinically and histologically in accordance with the extent and the range of pigmentation after phenol was applied to remove melanin pigmentation in gingiva. Six mongrel dogs were used. The melanin pigmentation in canine gingiva were classified into slight, moderate, and severe according to the extent of pigmentation and divided into local and diffuse types according to the range. Following general and local anesthesia, 90% phenol was applied to the pigmented gingiva of the subjects with small cotton balls until the surface was etched to be whitish and was neutralized with small cotton balls soaked by 95% alcohol. The contralateral pigmented gingiva to the one treated with phenol, was treated by surgical deepithelialization. At1, 3, and 8 weeks, the treated gingiva was examined clinically and evaluated histologically following H-E stain, and HMB 45 stain for melanocyte after biopsy. In the phenol treated sites, epithelium and connective tissue healed normally and there was no pigmentation at 1 week. At 3 weeks of healing, melanin repigmentation was observed in the severe local type and moderate to severe diffuse type. In the surgically deepithelialized sites, healing was delayed, compared to phenol treated sites and the infiltration of the inflammatory cells and congestion in connective tissue was shown at 1 week. At 3 weeks, healing was completed and there was a partial melanin repigmentation. At 8 weeks of healing, the extent and the range of repigmentation were increased in both group according to the extent or range priot to depigmentation procedure. These results suggest that the removal of melanin pigmentation with 90% phenol application result in normal healing process of gingiva. However, in the severe local type and moderate to severe diffuse type, sites treated with phenol showed repigmentation at 3 week, which was earlier than surgical deepithelialized sites. Therefore it is required to select appropriate method according to initial condition of pigmentation.

      • 단세포군 항체를 이용한 Chlamydia trachomatis의 면역형 결정

        An immunotyping of 27 strains of Chlamydia trachomatis isolated from patients with non-gonococcal urethritis or pelvic inflammatory diseases in Korea was achieved in dot-enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (dot-ELISA) with monoclonal antibodies. Monoclonal antibodies were produced with standard techniques by immunization of Balb/c mice and fusion with SP 2/0 myeloma cell. Seven type-specific (D,E,F,H,I,J,L₂), 2 subspecies-specific (B-complex, C-complex) and species-specific (HMC 1-1) monoclonal antibodies were used for immunotyping. Immunotyping of 12 control strains and 27 clinical strains isolated in Korea was studied by using dot-ELISA. Species-specific (HMC 1-1) monoclonal antibody reacted with all control strains and 27 isolated. Subspecies-specific (B-complex) monoclonal antibody reacted with B/HAR-36, Ba/Aphach-2, D/UW-3Cx, E/Bour, LGV type Ⅰ/440, LGV type Ⅱ/CDC control strains and 19 isolates. Type-specific monoclonal antibody of D was reacted with D/UW-3/Cx control strain and 10 isolates. E type-specific monoclonal antibody racted with E/Bour control strain and 6 isolates. F type-specific monoclonal antibody reacted with 5 isolates. Three isolates which racted with subspecies-specific monoclonal antibody didn't react with any type-specific monoclonal antibodies. Subspecies-specific (C-complex) monoclonal antibody reated with A/HAR-13, C/CDC, H/UW-43/Cx, J/UW-36/Cx control strains and 2 clinical isolates, but the isolates did not react with any type-specific monoclonal antibodies. One of 27 clinical isolates reacted with any type-specific monoclonal antibodies. One of 27 isolates reacted with species-specific (HMC 1-1) monoclonal antibody didn't react with any other subspecies-and type-specific monoclonal antibodies. In conclusion, the major immunotypes of C.trachomatis from urogenital system in Korea were D, E and F, and dot-ELISA with monoclonal antibody may contribute for immunotyping as a simple and specific technique.

      • 클러스터링 기법을 이용한 퍼지 모델링에 관한 연구

        In this paper, a new approach to modeling of static and dynamic systems using clustering techniques. To express the various and complex behavior of systems, we combine multiple model method. The Gustafson-Kessel algorithm is used in partitioning of system, and Takaei Sugeno rule structure is adopted to form the fuzzy rules. According to simulation, the performance of fuzzy modeling technique is evaulated.
