A biophoton in connection with inter-cellular communication is introduced, with its important source DNA. The Bonghan duct as anatomical structure of acupuncture meridians is considered with its owing contents, DNA-granules. A hypothesis of an optical channel of coherent biophotons is proposed as a new communication and control network of photons, which is the physiological function of Bonghan ducts. This can explain scientically the therapeutic eects of acupuncture.

This paper proposes a CMOS Readout Integrated Circuit (ROIC) for Infrared Focal Plane Array (IRFPA) detector, which is key component in uncooled thermal imaging system. The ROIC was designed using 0.35㎛ design rule 2P4M (double poly four metal) N-well P-sub process, 32 by 32 two dimension array and pixel size 50㎛ by 50㎛. Our proposed ROIC is mixed mode signal circuit which has both of the analog and digital signal part in a same chip. As a digital part circuit, readout circuit needs pixel selecting signal generator, and in a analog part, signal amplification is performed with the lowest noise. Input generation clock block was designed to generator ROIC inside signal and X-Y decoder was designed for the pixel selecting generator. In additions, folded cascade differential amplifier was designed for current flow to bolometer signal amplification and integration and low noise.
장거리 상호참조해결을 위한 BERT와 군집화 방법 - 한국어와 영어 문서 적용

상호참조해결은 자연언어 문서 내에서 같은 개체를 나타내는 언급들을 연결하는 문제다. 대명사, 지시 관형사, 축약어 등의 사용과 동음이의어의 혼동으로 인한 동일 지시를 하는 언급들을 파악함으로서, 다양한 자연언어처리 문제의 성능 향상에 기여 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 영어권 상호참조해결에서 좋은 성능을 내고 있는 BERT 기반 상호참조해결 모델에 개체명, 대명사 사전을 사용한 자질을 추가하고 표층형을 이용한 장거리 군집화를 적용했다. 또한 한국어 데이터셋을 사용할 때 발생하는 문제점을 해결하고 한국어, 영어 데이터에서 본 논문의 모델과 기존의 모델들을 실험하여 성능을 비교하였다. 한국어 데이터에서 기존의 연구들보다 높은 정밀도 75.7%, 재현율 68.1%, CoNLL F1-score 71.7%의 성능을 보였다. 모델들의 결과를 분석하여 기존 딥러닝 모델에 비해 문맥적 요소를 잘 파악하는 것을 확인했다. Coreference resolution is a natural language processing task of identifying all mentions that refer to the same denotation in the given natural language document. It contributes to improving the performance of various natural language processing tasks by resolving the co-referents caused by linguistically replaceable realizations by using the referencible forms such as pronouns, indicative adjectives, and abbreviations but preventing co-referencing of homonyms (i.e., same form but different meaning). We propose a novel approach to coreference resolution particulary to identify the long-distant co-referents by applying long-distance clustering for surface forms under a BERT-based model performing well in English. We compare the performance of the proposed model and other models over the Korean and English datasets. Results demonstrated that our model has a better grasp of contextual elements compared to the other models.
Effects of monetary policy shocks on exchange rate in small open Economies

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>This study empirically investigates the effects of monetary policy shocks on exchange rates in four small open economies (United Kingdom, Canada, Sweden, and Australia) by using VAR models in which sign restrictions on impulse responses are imposed to identify monetary policy shocks. The main empirical findings are as follows. (1) A contractionary monetary policy leads to significant exchange rate appreciation. (2) The delay in overshooting is relatively short, at best six months. (3) The deviation from the UIP condition is relatively small, although significant at short horizons in a few cases. To obtain results without strong puzzles, constructing an empirical model that reflects the features of the small open economy and estimates the model for the recent inflation-targeting period during which monetary policy operating procedure does not change substantially are important.</P>

Huanglongbing (HLB) is one of the most destructive diseases in citrus, which imperils the sustainability of citriculture worldwide. The presumed causal agent of HLB, ‘Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus’ (CLas) is a non-culturable phloem-limited α-proteobacterium transmitted by Asian citrus psyllids (ACP, Diaphorina citri Kuwayama). A widely adopted method for HLB diagnosis is based on quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR). Although HLB diagnostic qPCR provides high sensitivity and good reproducibility, it is limited by time-consuming DNA preparation from plant tissue or ACP and the requirement of proper lab instruments including a thermal cycler to conduct qPCR. In an attempt to develop a quick assay that can be deployed in the field for CLas detection, we developed a real-time loop-mediated isothermal amplification (rt-LAMP) assay by targeting the CLas five copy nrdB gene. The rt-LAMP assay using various plant sample types and psyllids successfully detected the nrdB target as low as ~2.6 Log10 copies. Although the rt-LAMP assay was less sensitive than laboratorybased qPCR (detection limit ~10 copies), the data obtained with citrus leaf and bark and ACP showed that the rt-LAMP assay has >96% CLas detection rate, compared to that of laboratory-based qPCR. However, the CLas detection rate in fibrous roots was significantly decreased compared to qPCR due to low CLas titer in some root DNA sample. We also demonstrated that the rt-LAMP assay can be used with a crude leaf DNA extract which is fully deployable in the field for quick and reliable HLB screening.
