      • 糖尿疾患者에 대한 個別指導와 集團指導間의 比較硏究

        This study was made by surveying 40 diabetic patients whose age were above 15 .years old. They were composed of 21 hospitalized patients and 1Q patients at out patient department of inter gal medicine at Seoul National University Hospital from April 15 to October 20, 1975. We made a pretest for them before they were taught the knowledge of diabetics and made a post-test for them after they were taught within a week. We reviewed what educational effects were happened in sex, age, duration of since onset, the number of admission, the level of education and complication. The results of this study were reviewed in a statistical method analysis of variance and t-test to obtain the following findings: 1. There was no significant difference between the effects of individual and group teaching in diabetes. They were, in other words, effective in education for diabetic patients regardless of the method of individual teaching or group teaching. 2. There was no significant difference in the educational effects of sex, age, duration of since onset, the level of education and complication. 3. There was no significant difference in the influence of individual and group teaching in sex, age, duration of since onset, the number of admission, the level of education and complication. 4. Those who were hospitalized one time or more than one time had more signific?ant difference than those who weren't.

      • 흰쥐 뇌세서의 Cholecystokinin mRNA 함유신경세포의 분포

        목적 : 뇌에서 Cholecystokinin(CCK)-8 함유신경세포의 분포에 대해서는 면역조직화학적기법을 이용하여 행한 연구가 많으나 CCK mRNA함유신경세포의 분포에 대한 연구는 아직 단편적이므로 본 연구에서는 이들 신경세포의 분포를 정확히 밝히고져 하였다. 대상 및 방법 : 흰쥐 뇌에서 ^35S가 표지된 oligonucleotide를 이용한 in situ hybridization기법으로 관찰하였다. 결과 및 결론 : 종뇌; 후구의 전후핵, 신피질, 이상엽, 후내야, 외측, 기저 및 피질 편도핵, 해마체, 그리고 선조체에서 CCK mRNA함유신경세포가 관찰되었다. 간뇌; CCK mRNA함유신경세포가 시상의 경우 전내측시상핵, 전복측시상핵, 외측시상핵, 내측시상핵, nucleus reunions, nucleus rhomboideus, 그리고 내측슬상핵에서 관찰되었으며 시상하부의 경우는 시삭상핵, 실방핵, 등내측시상하부핵, 그리고 유두상핵에서 관찰되었다. 중뇌; 흑질의 밀집부, 복측피개야, nucleus linea rostralis, 중심회색질, Edinger-Westphal nucleus, 그리고 하구에서 CCK mRNA 함유신경세포가 관찰되었다. 교 및 연수; CCK mRNA 함유신경세포들이 lateral parabrachial nucleus 삼차신경척수로고유핵, 거대그물구성체핵, 연수그물구성체, 그리고 삼차신경척수로핵에서 관찰되었다. 이상의 결과를 지금까 보고된 CCK-8함유신경세포의 분포에 대한 면역조직화학적 연구결과와 비교 하였을 때 대부분의 부위에서 CCK-8 및 CCK mRNA 함유신경세포의 분포가 유사하였으나 시상의 경우 CCK-8 함유신경세포는 검출되지 않은 반면 매우 많은 수의 CCK mRNA 함유신경세포가 존재함을 알 수 있었고 대뇌 피질의 경우 CCK mRNA 함유신경세포수가 CCK-8 함유신경세포보다 월등히 더 많았다. 반면, 등측봉선핵 및 고속핵에서는 CCK-8 함유신경세포가 다수 존재함이 보고되어 있으나 본 연구의 경우 CCK mRNA 함유신경세포를 관찰할 수 없었다. In order to investigate the distribution of cholecystokinin(CCK) mRNA containing neurons in the rat brain, brains were extirpated rapidly, frozen sectioned and processed for in situ hybridization technique with ^35S labeled oligonucleotide probe. The results obtained were as follows Telencephalon; CCK mRNA containing neurons were found in the anterior olfactory nucleus, neo-cortex, piriform cortex, entsorhinal cortex, lateral, basal and cortical amygdaloid nucleus, hippocampus and corpus striatum. Diencephalon; In the anterior medial thalamic nucleus, anterior ventral thalamic nucleus, lateral thalamic nucleus, medial thalamic nucleus, nucleus reuniens, nucleus rhomboideus, and medial geniculate nucleus, CCK mRNA containing neurons were found. In the hypothalamus, CCK mRNA containing neurons were located in the supraoptic nucleus, paraventricular nucleus, dorsomedial nucleus and supramammillary nucleus. Midbrain; CCK mRNA containing neurons were found in the substantia nigra pars compacta, ventral tegmental area, nucleus linea rostralis, substantia gricea centralis, Edinger-Westphal nucleus and inferior colliculus. Pons and Medulla oblongata; CCK mRNA containing neurons were found in the lateral parabrachial nucleus, nueteus originalis nervi trigemini, nucleus reticularis gigantocellularis, nucleus reticularis medullae oblongatae, nucleus tractus spinalis nervi trigemini.

      • 정지형 자전거 운동 훈련이 건강한 여성의 체구성,심폐기능 및 유연성에 미치는 효과

        The purpose of this study was to determine the changes in body composition, cardiopulmonary function, and flexibility following 8 weeks' bicycle ergometer exercise training. The subjects of this research consisted of healthy adult women between 30 and 40 years of age. Initial intensity of bicycle ergometer exercise was based on the target heart rate equivalent to 55% of maximal oxygen uptake, and intensity of the exercise increased by 5% every 2 weeks. Body composition, cardiopulmonary function at rest and during maximal exercise, as well as flexibility were determined before and after 8 weeks of bicycle ergometer exercise training. Masimal exercise was performed on the treadmill according to Bruce Protocol. The results obtained were as follows; 1. There were o changes in body weight, percent body fat, fat body weight, and lean body weight as well. The ventilation volume for 1 minute, respiratory quotient and expired CO₂ volume have not changed significantly after the training, either. 2. As a result of training, resting systolic and diastolic blood pressure decreased significantly(p<.05) 3. Maximal heart rate, maximal oxygen consumption and maximal running time increased significantly after the training(p<.05) 4. Pelvic flexibility increased slightly after the training, however, it did not reach the statistical significance. Trunk flexion forward increased significantly after the training(p<.05). From these results, it may be concluded that 8 weeks bicycle ergometr training improve the cardiopulmonary function and flexibility in healthy adult women between 30-40 years of age.

        B형 간염예방에 대한 교육매체의 효과 : 중·고등학생을 대상으로

        Purpose: Our research team developed two types of hepatitis B prevention materials: video tape and leaflet. We showed them to two groups of subjects separately, and the effect of education was compared to find out a more effective educational material for preventing hepatitis B. Method: Students at a middle school and a high school, one class for each school year, participated in the five areas of this study. They were educated for hepatitis management using the video tape and the leaflet. Before and after the education, they were tested for knowledge on hepatitis and health belief to analyze the effect of education. Results: 1) The video tape was more effective than the leaflet in delivering hepatitis knowledge and enhancing sensitivity & severity in health belief. 2) Hepatitis knowledge was improved significantly after the education. 3) Sensitivity & severity in health belief was improved significantly after the education. 4) Benefit in health belief was improved significantly after the education 5) Barrier in health belief decreased significantly after the education. 6) There was a correlation between hepatitis knowledge, sensitivity & severity in health belief and benefit in health belief. Conclusion: We suggest that for preventing hepatitis B it would be helpful to educate students in middle school and high school face to face with educational materials.

      • 흰쥐 척수 및 등뿌리신경절에서 Tyrosine Hydroxylase 함유구조물의 분포

        정상 흰쥐의 각 분절별 척수 및 등뿌리신경절에서 catecholamine 함유구조물의 분포를 알아보고자 tyrosine hydroxylase(TH)에 대한 항체를 이용하여 면역조직화학적 염색을 실시하였다. 그 결과 TH 함유신경세포는 목척수분절과 엉치척수분절에서 관찰되었다. 목척수분절의 TH 함유신경세포는 첫째와 둘째 목척수분절에서만 관찰되었으며 신경돌기가 잘 발달된 다각형의 세포인 것으로 보아 이들은 뇌줄기의 TH 함유신경세포군이 목척수분절로 연장된 것이라 생각된다. 그러나 엉치척수분절에서 관찰되는 대부분의 TH 함유신경세포는 세포돌기가 보이지 않고 세포체부분만 면역염색되어 관찰되는 것으로 보아 퇴화단계의 세포인 것으로 생각된다. TH 함유신경섬유는 척수의 모든 분절에서 관찰되었으며 이들 TH 함유신경섬유가 각 척수분절의 등뿔보다 배쪽뿔과 중간뿔에서 훨씬 높은 밀도로 관찰되는 것으로 보아 catecholamine은 척수에서 체성감각뿐만 아니라 자율신경계 및 운동신경계의 조절에 관여하리라 생각된다. 등뿌리신경절에서 관찰되는 TH 함유신경세포는 척수의 엉치분절에서 관찰되는 것과 마찬가지로 세포돌기가 거의 보이지 않고 세포체부분만 염색되어 보였다. 또한 등뿌리 신경절의 TH 함유신경섬유는 혈관의 벽을 나선형으로 감고 돌아가는 형태로 관찰되었으며 어느 것도 등뿌리신경절의 신경세포와 연관되어 관찰되지는 않았다. 이로 보아 정상 쥐의 등뿌리신경절에서 catecholamine은 신경세포 사이의 신경전달이나 졸절보다는 신경절 내의 혈류조절과 관계있을 것으로 생각된다. With the aim of gaining more insight into the catecholaminergic system in the nervous system of the rat, we have studied the precise distribution pattern of the tyrosine hydroxylase immunoreactive (TH-IR) fibers and soma in the spinal cord and dorsal root ganglion. In the dorsal root ganglion (DRG) TH-IR fibers were observed to run along the vessel wall, spirally and not found in the neural tissue itself. A few TH-IR fibers were found in the spinal nerve, not in the ventral root. Many TH-IR neurons were distributed in the L3, 4, 5, and 6 DRG but none of them were found in the other DRG segments. In the spinal cord, TH-IR fibers have shown sparse distribution all over spinal cord but relatively dense distribution in the ventral hom, intermediolateral column, lamina I of the dorsal horn of the cervical, lumbar, sacral, and coccygeal segment. TH-IR neurons were found in the interrmediolateral column, dorsal gray commissure, dorsal horn of the C1 and C2 segments and S1-4 segments. TH-IR neurons in the cervical segments were polygonal or spindle shaped with well developed processes. In contrast to this, TH-IR neurons in the sacral segments were oval or spindle shaped withe no processes. In conclusion, neurons in the DRG were not influenced by catecholaminergic nervous input. Intrinsic catecholaminergic nervous systems were found in both of spinal cord and DRG.

        암환자의 일차간호제공가족의 스트레스 인지평가 영향 요인 분석

        Purpose: The objectives for this study were to identify the factors that correlate with appraisal of illness and to explore what variables are predictive of cancer patients primary caregivers' cognitive appraisal for stress. Method: The subjects were selected by convenient sampling and 130 caregivers who completed a questionnaire. Measures used in this study included the Family Inventory of Resources for Management, Social Support Index, Family Crisis Oriented Personal Evaluation Scales and Family Coping Coherence Index. Pearson correlation was used to identify the relationship among factors and multiple regression was used to determine the individual and cumulative effect of potential predictors on the caregivers' appraisal. Results: Patient's level of activity, severity of the disease, quality of relation between patient and caregiver, caregiver's subjective health status, economic status, family resources and coping were significantly correlated. Among the variables, coping, family resources, economic status and quality of relation between caregiver and patient predicted 49.2 percent of the variance in appraisal of caregivers' stress condition. Conclusion: These findings suggest that coping mechanisms and family resources are important for positive appraisal. Nurses should provide adequate nursing care for the primary caregiver about professional care information and supportive counseling.

      • 韓國人 學生의 腦機能 優勢(Cerebral Dominance)와 손잡이(Handedness)의 傾向

        This study was investigated the effects of specialization of brain functions, the distribution of handedness and the correlation between cerebral dominance and handedness. This was surveyed with the samples of 1,302 Korean boys and girls attending in junior high school and senior high school, residing in Taegu city. In this study, Alfred W. Munzert's questionnaire and Tames Bliss & Joseph Morella's questionnaire were used as the instrument for assessing the thend of cerebral dominance and handedness. The results obtained were as follows: Out of the total number of 1,302 examined, 73.7% of them were regarded as right hemisphere dominant type and 12.6% of them were regarded as left hemisphere dominant type. In right hemisphere dominant type, students of junior high school were higher incidence than senior high School. In bilateral and left hemisphere dominant type, students of senior high school were higher incidence than junior high school. In right handers most of them were right hemisphere dominant type. In left handers, most of them were right hemisphere dominant type and the incidence of boys were higher than girls.

      • 흰쥐 腦의 中心扁桃核에서의 Substance P 및 Enkephalin 함유구조의 형태학적 특징

        흰쥐 뇌의 중심편도핵에서의 substance P (SP) 및 Enkephalin (ENK) 함유신경세포 및 축삭종말의 분포를 관찰하기 위하여 peroxidase antiperoxidase법을 행하여 다음의 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. SP함유신경세포는 중심편도핵의 medial zone에 분포하였고 SP함유축삭종말은 lateral capsular zone에서 고밀도로 관찰되었다. SP함유신경세포는 원형 내지는 타원형이었고 2∼3개의 근위수상돌기(proximal dendrite)를 가졌다. ENK함유신경세포 및 축삭종말은 공히 central 및 lateral capsular zone에 존재하였다. ENK함유 신경세포는 직경이 약 17-24㎛ 정도였고 3∼4개의 근위수상돌기를 관찰할 수 있었다. The central amygdaloid nucleus is rich in a number of neuropoptides. The present study examines the distribution and morphological characteristics of substance P (SP) and leucine-enkephalin (ENK) containing neurons in this nucleus. The results obtained were as follows: SP immunoreactive cells were observed within the medial zone and SP immunoreactive axon terminals were heaviest within the lateral capsular zone. The immunoreactive cells were round or oval shape (diameter, 15-20㎛) and had two or three proximal dendrites. ENK immunoreactive cells and axon terminals located within central and capsular zones. The immunoreactive cells were round or oval shape (diameter, 17-24㎛) and had three or four proximal dendrites.

        흰쥐 대뇌피질에서 cholecystokinin octapeptide(CCK-8)의 분포를 관찰하기 위하여 간접면역형 광법을 행하여 관찰해 본 결과 다음의 많은 부위에서 CCK-8양성세포 및 양성섬유를 관찰할 수 있었다. 신피질: CCK-8양성세포는 주로 제2, 3층에서, 양성섬유는 제2, 3 그리고 6층에서 저밀도를 나타내었다. 후구: 전후핵에서 많은 CCK-8양성세포 및 양성섬유를 관찰하였다. 이상엽 및 후내야: 양성세포는 주로 제2층에서 관찰되었으며 양성섬유는 제2층에서 중밀도 제3층에서 저밀도로 관찰되었다. 해마체: 많은 양성세포 및 고밀도의 양성섬유가 원추세포층에서 관찰되었다. In order to investigate the distribution of immunoreactive cholecystokinin octapeptide (CCK-8) containing neurons in the cerebral cortex of the rat, brains of the rats were processed for indirect immunofluorescent technique. The results obtained were as follows. Neocortex; CCK-8 immunoreactive cell bodies were found in layer Ⅱ and Ⅲ and immunoreactive axon terminals were heaviest in layers Ⅱ, Ⅲ and Ⅵ. Olfactory bulb; The anterior olfactory nucleus contained numerous CCK-8 immunoreactive cell bodies and a moderate density of immunoreactive axon terminals. Piriform and entorrhinal cortex; CCK-8 immunoreactive neurons and axon terminals were observed in layer Ⅱ and Ⅲ. However, they were more frequent in layer Ⅱ. Hippocampus; CCK-8 immunoreactive cell bodies and axon terminals were found in pyramidal layer.

      • Golgi 염색 기법에 대한 연구

        여러 Golgi methods 중에서 본 실험실 환경에 적합한 방법을 확립하기 위해서, Golgi Method, Golgi-Kopsch modification, silver-chromate Golgi method 그리고 Rapid Golgi method의 네가지 방법을 실제로 실시했는데 그 중 Adam의 silver-chromate Golgi method에서 가장 좋은 결과를 얻었는데 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 착색에 소요되는 시간이 약 7일 정도였다. 2) 대뇌피질, 시상하부, 뇌간의 모든부위 등 실험을 실시한 거의 모든 부위에서 착색된 신경세포를 관찰할 수 있었다. 3) 착색된 신경세포는 세포체 뿐만 아니라 축삭돌기, 수상돌기 그리고 수상돌기소극 등의 미세구조도 잘 관찰되었으며, 규칙적인 분포를 하였다. 4) 착색된 신경교세포와 혈관은 저밀도로 관찰되었다. Four modifications of the Golgi method, i. e. Golgi method, method, Golgi-Kopsch modification, silver-chromate Golgi method and rapid Golgi method were tested to find out most reliable method. Compared to another 3 modifications, Adams' silver chromate Golgi method was found to have several advantages as follows. 1) It took 7 days for impregnation procedure. 2) Neurons were well impregnated and their axons, dendrites and spines could be identified very clearly. 3) Impregnated neurons formed few clusters. 4) Glias and vessels showed very minimal impregnations.
