        한국투자금융지주 김남구 부회장의 시너지경영

        영화 <웰컴 투 동막골>에서 나타난 공동체의 특징 -장 뤽 낭시의 “무위의 공동체” 개념을 중심으로-

        인류가 만들어온 대부분의 공동체들은 구성원 간의 연합이나 이익을 위해 동질성을 강조하며 강한 결집력을 보여 온 한편, 폐쇄성과 배타성이라는 한계를 드러내 왔다. 프랑스 철학자인 장 뤽 낭시는 이러한 전통적 개념의 공동체를 비판하며 새로운 대안적 원리로 동일성을 전제하지 않는 ‘무위의 공동체’개념을 제안하였다. ‘무위의 공동체’는 어떠한 목적을 위해 관계를 지향하는 것이 아니라, ‘함께 있음’ 그 자체가 가치가 되며, 공동체의 생산, 유지, 완성을 목표로 하지 않고, 존재 그 자체로 긍정의 관계를 만들어내며, 이를 통해 다른 존재의 변화를 일으키는 공동체이다. 본고는 영화 <웰컴 투 동막골>에서 나타난 공동체의 특징을 ‘무위의 공동체’ 개념을 중심으로 분석, 고찰한다. 이를 위해 먼저 전체주의적인 공동체의 특징을 살펴보며, 이를 해체하는 낭시의 ‘무위의 공동체’개념에 대해 논한다. 그리고 영화의 등장인물과 사건을 통해 동막골 공동체가 갖고 있는‘무위의 공동체’의 특성을 도출해 낸다. 영화의 배경이 되는 동막골은 인종, 언어, 사상, 이념이 부딪히고 개인적 특성들이 충돌하는, 철저한 갈등의 상황이 연출될 수밖에 없는 자리였다. 그러나 여기서 펼쳐진 공동체는 특정한 동질성을 강요하지 않고, 새로운 외부자가 들어오면 그들과 ‘함께 하며’ 자신들의 세계자체를 변화해간 공동체이다. 본고는 특히 외부인들의 견고한 내재성에 균열을 내어간 소수자들의 역할과 ‘죽음’을 통해 만들어간 동막골 공동체의 변화과정에 주목한다. 무위의 공동체 또는 동막골 공동체는 비록 현실에서는 실현이 어렵다 하더라도, 우리가 지향해야 할, 외부와 내부의 가름 없이 소통을 실천하는 공동체를 제시했다는 면에서 시사하는 바가 크다고 할 수 있다. Many human communities throughout history have emphasized social and cultural homogeneity to achieve common goals and preserve solidarity. However, this approach has also revealed limits, such as exclusivity and obstructiveness to outsiders. Rethinking the notion of community, Jean-Luc Nancy formulated the concept of “the inoperative community” to overcome these limits and present a new principle that does not assume homogeneity or unity. The inoperative community is the community that regards just “being together” itself as the primary value, so that relationships can exist even by virtue of doing nothing; these new or newly recognized relationships can then create changes in human existence. This paper examines characteristics of the community depicted in the South Korean film Welcome to DongMakGol(Directed by Park Kwang-hyun and produced by Jang Jin·Lee Eun-ha·Ji Sang-yong, 2005) from the perspective of Nancy`s inoperative community. First, it discusses the nature of totalitarian communities and the way the inoperative community deconstructs such traditional notions of communities. Then, it analyzes the community presented in DongMakGol as an inoperative community by analyzing characters and events in the movie. DongMakGol is a place in which a variety of racial, linguistic, ideological, and national identities collide, intersect, and conflict with one another. Since the DongMakGol community does not assume the possibility of a “pure” identity, it doesn`t require people to assimilate into any homogeneous social body and instead transforms itself when newcomers arrive, fostering a “being-together” with them. In particular, the treatment of minorities and “death” in this movie makes cracks in the solidity of immanence, so that these tropes perform a huge role in formulating a “being-together” community. Even though it is unrealistic to build an inoperative community like DongMakGol in real life, it is still meaningful to consider the model of the community we should pursue that it represents.

        랜덤 키 분할을 이용한 모바일 RFID 사용자의 프라이버시를 보호하는 상호 인증 프로토콜

        이동 통신망에 RFID 기술을 접목한 모바일 RFID는 사용자 자신이 휴대한 휴대전화로 제품에 부착된 RFID태그의 식별자를 읽고, 이 식별자를 이동통신망을 통해 네트워크로 전달하여 제품에 대한 정보를 얻는 기술이다. 그러나 모바일 RFID는 기존 RFID에서 요구되어지는 보안 요구사항 중 프라이버시 문제가 여전히 존재하는 문제점이 있다. 이 논문에서는 모바일 RFID 사용자가 태그 정보를 백 엔드 서버로부터 안전하게 전달받기 위해서 초기화 과정과 상호 인증과정에서 모바일 RFID 리더와 태그가 생성한 랜덤키를 임의의 크기로 분할하여 프라이버시 보호가 필요한 태그에 대해서 모바일 RFID 리더가 매 세션마다 난수생성기에 의해 항상 다른 하부키 값을 생성함으로써 태그의 어떤 정보도 제 3자에게 제공하지 않도록 하고 있다. 성능 평가 결과 제안 프로토콜은 등록 계산량과 로그인 계산량에서 모듈러 연산을 사용하는 기존 프로토콜과 달리 일방향 해쉬 함수를 사용하여 사용자의 정보를 등록하기 때문에 MARP 기법<SUP>[7]</SUP>과 Kim 등의 기법<SUP>[12]</SUP>보다 저장 공간과 계산량에서 효율성이 높았다. Mobile RFID which integrates mobile network with RFID technique is the technique to get the information of products by transmitting the identifier through mobile network after reading the identifier of RFID tag. It attached on the equipment as the mobile phone. However, mobile RFID has the privacy-related problem among requested secure problems required from the existing RFID. In this paper, the random key created by mobile RFID reader and Tag during the inter-certificating and initialization procedure for mobile RFID users to receive tag information from backend server securely is divided into random sizes and any information on the tag which requires the protection of privacy shouldn't be provided to anyone. In performance analysis, previous protocol used modulo operation in registration and login computation. But the proposed protocol has higher efficiency in saving space and computation volume than MARP scheme<SUP>[7]</SUP> and Kim. et. al<SUP>[12]</SUP> scheme because our protocol is accomplished by mutual authentication and registering user information through one-way hash function.

      • Facile Synthesis of <i>o</i>-Xylenyl Fullerene Multiadducts for High Open Circuit Voltage and Efficient Polymer Solar Cells

        <P>The ability to control the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) level of an electron-accepting material is a critical parameter for producing highly efficient polymer solar cells (PSCs). Soluble bis-adducts of C<SUB>60</SUB> have great potential for improving the <I>V</I><SUB>OC</SUB> in PSCs because of their high LUMO level. In this work, we have developed a novel <I>o</I>-xylenyl C<SUB>60</SUB> bis-adduct (OXCBA) via a [4 + 2] cycloaddition between C<SUB>60</SUB> and an irreversible diene intermediate from α,α′-dibromo-<I>o</I>-xylene. OXCBA was successfully applied as the electron acceptor with poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) in a PSC, showing a high efficiency of 5.31% with <I>V</I><SUB>OC</SUB> of 0.83 V. This composite showed a nearly 50% enhancement in efficiency compared to the P3HT:PCBM control device (3.68% with <I>V</I><SUB>OC</SUB> of 0.59 V). Furthermore, tuning the molar ratio between C<SUB>60</SUB> and the α,α′-dibromo-<I>o</I>-xylene group from 1:1 to 1:3 in the reaction scheme enables facile control over the number of <I>o</I>-xylenyl solubilizing groups ultimately tethered to the fullerene, thus producing <I>o</I>-xylenyl C<SUB>60</SUB> mono-, bis-, and tris-adducts (OXCMA, OXCBA, and OXCTA) with different LUMO levels. As the number of solubilizing groups increased, <I>V</I><SUB>OC</SUB> values of the P3HT-based BHJ solar cells increased from 0.63 V (OXCMA) to 0.83 V (OXCBA) to 0.98 V (OXCTA). This series of <I>o</I>-xylenyl C<SUB>60</SUB> multiadducts provides a model system for investigating the molecular structure-device function relationship, especially with respect to changes in the number of solubilizing groups on the electron acceptor.</P><P>Tuning the molar ratio between C<SUB>60</SUB> and the α,α'-dibromo-<I>o</I>-xylene group from 1:1 to 1:3 enables facile control over the number of <I>o</I>-xylenyl solubilizing groups ultimately tethered to the fullerene, thus producing the novel <I>o</I>-xylenyl C<SUB>60</SUB> multi-adducts (mono-, bis-, and tris-adducts) for electron acceptors with different LUMO levels.</P><P><B>Graphic Abstract</B> <IMG SRC='http://pubs.acs.org/appl/literatum/publisher/achs/journals/content/cmatex/2011/cmatex.2011.23.issue-22/cm202885s/production/images/medium/cm-2011-02885s_0006.gif'></P><P><A href='http://pubs.acs.org/doi/suppl/10.1021/cm202885s'>ACS Electronic Supporting Info</A></P>

        Response of Odontoblast to the Bio-Calcium Phosphate Cement

        Purpose: If the tooth structure is damaged, then it is impossible to regenerate the tooth. The materials used to restore the tooth structure are not related to the composition of the tooth. The materials used to restore the structure can't replace the natural tooth because they just fill the defective structure. Calcium phosphate cement remineralizes the dentin and almost replaces the natural tooth, but there are some disadvantages. We conducted basic tests with Biomimetic CPC (Bio-CPC) to make sure of the possibility of the biomaterial to remineralize the defective tooth structure. Methods: In this study, the bioactivity and biocompatibility of Bio-CPC were evaluated for its potential value as the bio-material for regeneration of damaged tooth structure by conducting a cell toxicity assay (WST-1 assay), a cytokinesis-block micronucleus assay, a chromosomal aberration test, total RNA extraction and RT-PCR on MDPC-23 mouse odontoblast-like cells. Results: The in vitro cytotoxicity test showed that the Bio-CPC was fairly cytocompatible for the MDPC-23 mouse odontoblast-like cells. Conclusion: Bio-CPC has a possibility to be a new biomaterial and further study of Bio-CPC is needed.

      • Distributed feedback laser diode integrated with distributed Bragg reflector for continuous-wave terahertz generation.

        <P>A widely tunable dual mode laser diode with a single cavity structure is demonstrated. This novel device consists of a distributed feedback (DFB) laser diode and distributed Bragg reflector (DBR). Micro-heaters are integrated on the top of each section for continuous and independent wavelength tuning of each mode. By using a single gain medium in the DFB section, an effective common optical cavity and common modes are realized. The laser diode shows a wide tunability of the optical beat frequency, from 0.48 THz to over 2.36 THz. Continuous wave THz radiation is also successfully generated with low-temperature grown InGaAs photomixers from 0.48 GHz to 1.5 THz.</P>

        Anatomic Study of Pterygomaxillary Junctions in Koreans

        Purpose: This study is to evaluate the location of descending palatine artery, the anatomy of pterygomaxillary junction, and the association between the obtained anatomic values and several variables. Methods: We studied 40 patients who were treated for dentofacial deformites from January 2010 to December 2012 in Ulsan University Hospital, Ulsan, Korea. Cone beam computed tomogram (CBCT) was done for all patients. The reference point was approximately 5 to 7 mm above anterior nasal spine on axial image. We evaluated the location of the greater palatine canal (line a: on the coronal view, the shortest line between the center of greater palatine canal and pterygoid fossa; distance a: the distance of line a). We also measured the thickness (line b: on the coronal view, the shortest line between maxillary posterior sinus wall and pterygoid fossa; distance b: distance of line b), width (line c: on the coronal view, the line perpendicular to the line b and the nearest line from the most concave point of lateral pterygoid plate to the medial pterygoid plate; distance c: distance of line c) and height (line d: on sagittal view, the vertically longest line of pterygoid junction; distance d: the distance of line d) in pterygomaxillary junctions. We evaluated the association between the obtained anatomic values and several variables (sex, age, height and weight). Results: The mean distance a was 4.78 mm, mean distance b was 5.53 mm, mean distance c was 8.01 mm and mean distance d was 13.22 mm. The differences between age and mean distance c and weight and mean distance d in pterygomaxillary junctions are statistically significant. Conclusion: There apparently is anatomic variation of pterygomaxillary junctions by various values, particularly weight and age in a Korean clinical population.

      • Evaluation of the Fatigue Behavior on the Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) Reconstruction in Fresh Cadaver with an Autograft using the Interference Screw

        In the case of the Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) reconstruction, the different fixations are used according to the tunnel method of the femur, the tibia and the type of the autotransplantation. Three popular ACL reconstructions have been regarded as the gold standard for more than 10 years, several hundred thousands of the surgeries have been accomplished. However, the secondary diseases such as the weakness of the quadriceps femoris muscle by donor-site morbidity of autotransplantation, the stiffness of the joint, the fracture of the patella, the pain in the vincent of the patellar tendon, can happen and the size of the transplanting tendon is restricted. Based on the autotransplantation, PCL reconstruction of Achilles tendon using the high tibia test of the fresh cadaver accumulated fatigue test, the advanced PCL, the collateral ligament, the meniscus reconstruction and its accumulated fatigue damage test using interference screw was carried out.
