      • 釜山大 男學生의 體力 및 身體遂行 能力에 關한 硏究

        The purpose of this study was measure height, weight, chest girth, sit and reach, grip strength, back strength, % body fat and VO₂max for freshman students majoring in engineering in Puasn National University. In comparison with the results of other studies, the following conclusion were drawn. A. Height(172 ±4㎝) and weight(62 ±7㎏) were increased, but chest girth(87 ±6㎝) decreased. B. VO₂max(2.4 ±0.31/min 38 ±38 ±6ml/㎏/min) and % body fat (7 ±4%) were significantly low. C. Questionaire revealed 16% of subjects exercise 4∼5 hours per week D. Questinmaire revealed that smokers and drinkers are 18%, 86% respectively.

      • 스프라인 곡선을 이용한 내용기반 이미지 검색 시스템을 위한 모양 유사도

        본 논문에서는 모양특징을 사용하여 이미지를 검색하기 위한 유사도 측정에 관하여 논한다. 개체의 모양은 이미지에 있는 개체의 외곽선을 추출함으로서 얻어낼 수 있다. 이미지에 있는 각각의 개체는 수동으로 외곽선을 추출하게된다. 외곽선은 큐빅 스프라인 곡선을 사용하여 근사시키고. 특징벡터는 자동으로 추출한다. 각 개체의 모양 특징은 특징 데이터베이스에 추가되어 이미지 검색시 사용한다. 사용자가 그린 스케치 질의도 큐빅 스프라인 곡선을 사용하여 근사시키고, 특징벡터를 추출한다. 이미지의 검색시 사용자 스케치 질의의 특징백터와 이미지 데이터베이스에 있는 개체의 특징벡터와 비교하여 검색결과를 결정하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 개체의 모양 유사도를 측정할 수 있는 측도를 고안하였고 이것을 실험하였다. 실험결과 본 논문에서 제안하는 모양 유사도 측도가 유효함을 알 수 있었다. In this paper, we present a similarity measure for retrieving images based on object shape features. Shapes are derived by extracting the contour of relevant object represented in the images. For each object in the images, its contour lines are manually extracted and sampled at points, Its 2-D contours are approximated by parametric cubic spline curves and its shape feature vectors are automatically extracted. The object shape features are appended to feature DB and used during the image retrieval process. User sketch query is also approximated by parametric cubic spline curves, its shape features are extracted. During the image retrieval process, the shape features of user sketch query are compared with those of image DB using our similarity measure to determine the set of candidate images to be retrieved. We designed and experimented our shape similarity measure. Experimental result shows that our proposed similarity measure is effective one.

      • 基礎運動能力檢査의 妥當度 및 評價基準分析

        In administrating 323 subjects (man : 294, woman : 29) for admission to the department of physical education, college of education, Pusan National University during two years, the General Motor Ability Test was measured in order to analyze the validity and reliability of evaluation norm in choosing events and grading. The subjects were tested in seven events : 1) 100m Dash, 2) 1500m Run(man), 800m(woman), 3) Throwing Hand-Ball, 4) Broad jump, 5) Chinning(man), Flexed-Arm Hang(woman), 6) Zig-Zag Run, 7) Trunk Flexion. The results are as followes ; 1. In 100m Dash, 1500m Run, and Throwing Hand-Ball, man's average recordes were shown normal distribution which was inclined towgrd low 11 grade. So it was analyzed that we must regulate the interval size to lower. 2. Average records of Broad Jump in were distributed into the somewhat high (3-7) grade (about 78.6%). Then, the interval size must be regulated higher. 3. In chinning, Zig-Zag Run, and Trunk Flexion man's average records were shown normal distribution, and the average and the standard deviation were similar to present records. 4. For woman, it was impossible to analyze correctly in all seven because of the small number of subjects. So it was analyzed for the sake of the reference. There will be an exact analization in choosing the interval size and standard records. 5. Investigating the validity of the choosing seven events. We found out that 100m Dash was chosely interrelated with others, and so it was the dependent event. But other events were independent. Then, we could say that they were chosen reasonably.

      • 응급실내에서 발생한 폭력의 실태

        Background and Objectives: The objective of this study was to obtain circumstances about violence providers and cause of the violence in emergency room. Materials and Methods: Reports were provided to emergency department doctors, nurses and emergency medical technicians working in Chosun University Hospital Emergency Center during the sixty days from 26 May 2003 to 24 July 2003. Report form consisted of the degree of violence, the reason for the violence, dermographic information about violence providers, outbreak time of violence and response of emergency personnels. Results: SixtyUeight case of violence in the emergency department were reported. Almost all of the violence was due to the male gender and high incidence in third and fourth decade. The violence occured mostly in the night shift. 55.9% of violence was done by patient and 41.2% was done by patient's guardians. The leading cause of violence were alcohol drunken and delay of laboratory test and treatment. Verbal abuse and threats were the most concern form of violence, Conclusion: It is necessary to solve the problems faced in the emergency department not only administrative and financial aid but also regular preventive education and further study.

      • 구륜 이동 로봇의 위치추정을 위한 퍼지-유전자 제어기

        지능제어 기법중 하나인 퍼지-유전자 알고리즘은 매개변수 불확실성을 갖는 시스템을 제어하기 위한 새로운 제어 기법으로 사용되어지고 있다. 유전자 알고리즘에서, 돌연변이율은 국부적 최소화에 수렴하는 것을 방지하기 위하여 크게 설정하여야만 하지만, 전역 수렴 속도가 감소하는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 퍼지 논리와 유전자 알고리즘을 사용하여 제어기를 설계한다. 본 논문에서는 구륜이동 로봇의 목적궤적을 추적할 수 있는 제어기 설계를 제안한다. 제안된 제어기의 유용성은 모의실험을 통하여 보인다. Genetic algorithms, one of intelligent control methods, is used as new control approach to control the system including the parameter uncertainties In the genetic algorithm, the mutation rate must be set to high to prevent the convergence to local minimum, but it has the problem that the global convergence speed is decreased To enhance this problem, we design the controller by using the fuzzy logic and the genetic algorithm In this paper, we propose the controller design to track to the desired trajectory of the wheeled-mobile robot The validity of the proposed controller is showed through the simulation.

      • 층간분리 형상계수(f_(S))가 FRMLs의 층간분리 성장률(dA_(D)/da)에 미치는 영향

        Most previous researches for the hybrid composite materials such as FRMLs (Al/AFRP, Al/GFRP) have evaluated the fatigue delamination behavior using the traditional fracture mechanism. However, most previous researches have not generally been fumed yet. Because delamination growth behavior in hybrid composite should be consider delamination growth rate, dA_(D)/da using the delamination shape factors, f_(S) instead of traditional fracture mechanic parameters. The major purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between delamination shape factor, f_(S) s and delamination growth rate, dA_(D)/da. And a propose parameter on the delamination aspect ratio, b/a. The details of the study are as follow : 1) Relationship between crack length, a and delamination width, b. 2) Relationship between delamination aspect ratio, b/a and delamination area rate, (A_(D))_(N)/(A_(D))_(All). 3) Variation of delamination growth rate, dA_(D)/da was attendant on delamination shape factors, f_(S1), f_(S2), f_(S3). The test results indicated the delamination growth rate depends on delamination shape factors.

        하악과두 골절 치료에 있어 보존적 치료와 외과적 치료의 비교

        The authors investigated the 17 patients with the condylar fractures of the mandible who were admitted in Dept. of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Chosun University, Dental hospital from 1990 to 1993 and could be taken follow-up above 6 months. Helkimo's clinical dysfunction index and mandibular mobility index were applied to the evaluation of the patients and the obtained results were as follows. 1. Mean maximal mouth opening was 38.4mm in the conservative group, 41.3mm in the surgical group and that showed no statistically significant difference.(P>0.05) 2. Clinical dysfunction index was higher in the surgical group than in the conservative group but .that showed no statistically difference.(P>0.05) 3. The extent of maximal mouth opening was increased gradually throughout the follow-up period. 4. Both groups didn't show severe clinically dysfunction.

        This study was analyzed the validity and the reliability of evaluation norm. which was used in choosing and grading events of the General Motor Ability Test. The General Motor Ability Test has been done for applicants for entrance to the department of physical education, college of education, Pusan National University. The subjects of this study were 433 applicants(men :387, women :46) for three years. They were tested in seven events : 1) 100m Dash, 2) 1500m Run(man), 800m Run (woman), 3) Throwing Hand-Ball, 4) Broad Jump, 5) Chinning(man), Flexed-Arm Hang(woman), 6) Zig-Zag Run, 7) Trunk Flexion. The results could be summerized as follows ; 1. In 100m Dash, 1500m Run, and Throwing Hand-Ball, man's average records were shown normal distribution which was inclined toward low ll grade. Therefore, the interval size of those three events must be regulated to lower. 2. Average records of Broad Jump in man were distributed into high (1) grade. So, the interval size must be adjusted to higher. 3. In Chinning, Zig-Zag Run, ad Trunk Flexion, man's average records were shawn normal distribution, and the interval size was similar to present records. 4. For woman, it was impossible to analyze correctly in all seven events because of the small number of subjects. So, it was for the sake of the reference. 5. The record of applicants for three years were operated to the variable quantity analysis. And the restults were these ; 100m Dash was F=3.0865(p<0.05), Chinning F=3.9309(p<0.05), Broad Jump F=14.7338(p<0.001), Throwing Hand-Ball F=4.9716(p<0.01), and Zig-Zag Run F=6.8297(p<0.001). Then, it was shown statistical meaningful difference in three groups. 6. In investigating the validity in choosing seven events, it was concluded that the events have been chosen reasonably. Because all events except for 100m Dash, and Zig-Zag Run in man were independent. From the analysis of the General Motor Ability Test, we could realized the necessity of regulating the standard and the interval size in several events. Then, we proposed the new evaluation norm which was suitable to present situation.

        Accuracy of high‐frequency catheter‐based endoscopic ultrasonography according to the indications for endoscopic treatment of early gastric cancer

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P><P><B>Background and Aim: </B> The development of endoscopic treatment, such as endoscopic submucosal dissection, extends the indications for endoscopic resection in patients with early gastric cancer (EGC). Endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) is the first‐choice imaging modality for determining the depth of invasion of gastric cancer. The aim of the present study was to prospectively assess the accuracy of EUS for determining the depth of EGC, according to the accepted/extended indications.</P><P><B>Methods: </B> We prospectively included a total of 181 lesions in 178 patients, with an endoscopic diagnosis of EGC, who underwent EUS for staging the depth of tumor invasion using a 20‐MHz catheter probe. We investigated the accuracy of EUS for determining the depth of endoscopically‐suspected EGC and then analyzed the difference in the accuracy of EUS according to the accepted/extended indications.</P><P><B>Results: </B> Of the 178 patients, five patients were dropped because of the absence of final histological results. For the 176 lesions in 173 patients, the accuracy of EUS assessment for the depth of tumor invasion was 80.7% (142 of 176 lesions). The accuracy of EUS for the lesions with accepted indications and with extended indications was 97.6% (40 of 41 lesions) and 83.6% (46 of 57 lesions), respectively (<I>P</I> = 0.040). Of the lesions with extended indications, the accuracy of EUS decreased especially for the lesions with ulceration and those with minute submucosal invasion (79.2% and 42.9%, respectively).</P><P><B>Conclusions: </B> The accuracy of EUS for the lesions with the extended indications was lower than that for the lesions with the accepted indications. In particular, lesions with ulceration and minute submucosal invasion should be carefully considered prior to endoscopic treatment by pretreatment EUS staging.</P>
