        A new mathematical dynamic model which relates tension change, motor-speed change and roll-gap change is developed. Through the computer simulation of this model, parameter sensitivity, the tension transfer phenominon, and static and dynamic characteristics of strip tension were studied. Guidelines are developed to help one selecting locations of the master-speed drive in a multi-drive speed control for tension adjustment and reducing the effect of interaction between tension and roll gap control.

      • 연속공정 시스템에서의 실시간 장력제어

        A real-time distributed control software was needed to operate the high-speed continuous processing line. A real-time software for tension control in the continuous processing line was designed and implemented using the Vxworks real-time scheduler. Various techniques of real-time software design(e. g., tasking, inter-task communications, behavioral requirements, task specifications, etc.) were implemented in the design of real-time tension control software. A time scheduling technique for periodic tasks("dynamic task-delay technique") in the VxWorks scheduler is proposed. A real-time simulation for a typical tension control system was carried out. The dynamic task-delay technique guaranteed the predefined frequencies of periodic tasks of the tension control system whereas the "static task-delay technique" could not.

      • 한국 정치와 북핵 문제

        이 글의 목적은 2005년 시점 상황에서 한국정치권은 북핵문제에 어떻게 인식하고 있는가에 관한연구이다. 본 논의에서는 북핵현안을 둘러싸고 나타난 주요정당의 공식자료를 토대로 그들의 인식을 검토하고 국회의원들을 대상으로 실시하여 발표한 여론조사 자료를 재검토하여 국회내에서 북핵관련 결의안 제출과정에서 나타난 회의자료를 검토하는 방식을 택했다. 2005년 2월에 국회통일외교통상위원회에 북핵관련 결의안들이 제출되고 검토된 결과 7월에 대안형태로 '한반도 평화실현과 6ㆍ15 공동선언의 발전적 계승을 위한 결의안'을 가결시키기 위한 북핵문제는 고착상태에 빠져 있었다. 국회에서도 이러한 문제에 특별히 영향을 미칠 수 있는 수준이 아니었기에 결의안을 채택하는 수준에 머물렀다. 북핵문제에 대한 인식은 위기를 극복하는 과정에서 여야가 있을수 없다는 것이 합의를 도출하는 주된 동인이었다고 평가할 수 있다.

        The traffic engineering consists of traffic management, capacity management and network planning. In this paper, we present the capacity management function in traffic engineering for next generation multimedia internet services. The link capacity design, shortest-route design and multiple-time network design model is presented. Finally, day-load variation design model and traffic forecasting/reservation model for internet traffic are introduced.

      • 非晶質 Fe Si P 合金의 結晶化過程

        The thermal stability and crystallization process of amorphous Fe Si P alloys were studied by D.S.C and x-ray diffractometer. The results are as follows; 1) The amorphous forming range of Fe Si P alloys is O x 8. 2) Phase transformation by the crystallization occurs as follows ⅰ) x=2,4 ; amorphous → α-Fe(b.c.c) + Fe₃P(b.c.t) ⅱ) x=6,8 ; amorphous → amorphous + FeP → Fep + Fe₂P(h.c.p) → Fe₃P(b.c.t) + α-Fe(b.c.c). 3) The crystallization temperature and activation energy for crystallization are increased with increasing Si contents and presented max 718K, 110Kcal/mole at x=4, respectively and then decreased with increasing Si contents.

        천공성 환상 육아종

        We present a case of perforating granuloma annulare which appeared as multiple small papular lesions with central umbilication on the dorsum of both foot and sides of foot, The patient was a 12 year-old female child who had slightly tender lesions of one month's duration. Histologic study showed perforation of the epiderrnis and release of the abnormal necrobiotic material transepiderrnally. The epidermal perforation communicated with area of granuloma annulare in the dermis that consist of necrobiotic collagen surrounded by palisading mononucler phagocytes in the dermis. All the lesions resolved spontaneously with a slight hyperpigmentation in 4 months. She also had erythematous tender nodules, which diagnosed as erythema nodosum, on both shins. The lesions responded to potassium iodide 1.0g for 2 weeks.

Most of users nowadays access multimedia data via internet. Audio and video data are usually transmitted to users by using streaming technology for instant replay. In this paper, we investigate database design techniques for effective retrieval of video segment and replay method of retrieved videos, Especially we shows the design and implementation technique for closed captioning of streaming file.

      • 9-12%Cr강의 첨가원소 및 열처리에 따른 미세조직거동과 경도변화

        9-12%Cr steel are getting increasing attention for expanded application as high temperature materials applicable for gas turbine compressors, steam turbine rotors, blade and casing. For efficient and extensive application of 9-12%Cr steel, the data in addition to the improvement of mechanical properties on the correlation of microstructural evolution and mechanical properties are inevitable and thus the investigation in this study is performed for the determination for the specimens heat-treated at 600, 650 and 700℃ for 1000, 3000 and 5000hrs. The microstructure of as-received specimen was tempered martensite, with a high dislocation density and secondary phases. Upon high temperature heat-treatment, the martensite lath got larger and dislocation density decreased resulting the reduction of the strength. In addition, sharp growth of secondary phases was observed in the specimen heat-treated at 700℃ for 5000hrs. A specimen aged at 600℃ and 650℃ Laves phase was observed. The hardness showed close relationship with the secondary phase particle and dislocation density.

      • 근위 대퇴정을 이용한 대퇴 전자부 골절의 치료

        목 적 : 근위 대퇴정을 이용한 고령 환자의 대퇴전자간 골절의 치료결과에 대해 보고하고자 한다. 대상 및 방법 : 2001년 4월부터 2002년 2월까지 대전자부에서 소전자에 이르는 횡선골절 및 소전자 주위 분쇄골절로 압박고 나사 고정이 용이하지 않은 전자간 골절, 일반적인 전자간 골절에 대해 근위 대퇴정을 사용해 치료한 80례 중 추시가 가능했던 71례를 대상으로 하였으며, 추시과정 중 골유합 시기, 대퇴경간각, 지연나사의 활강, 수술시간 및 출혈량, 술중 및 술후 합병증 수술시 주의사항을 조사하였다. 결 과 : 평균연령은 77.5세, 평균추시기간은 9개월이었다. Evans의 분류법으로 골절을 분류하여 안정성, 불안정성 골절은 30례, 41례였다. 평균 골 유합 시비는 13.8주였고, 대퇴경간각은 수술직후 131.9 ± 5.21˚, 129.9 ± 6.04˚ 였으며 평균지연나사의 활강은 4.21±4.13㎜였다. 수술시간은 평균 61분, 출혈량은 평균 0.67pint(134cc)였다. 술중 합병증으로는 정복 실패 1례, 원위고정나사 삽입시 피질골 골절 1례, drill bit 파손 1례가 있었으며, 술후 합병증으로는 대퇴 경간각 소실(5도이상) 12례, 경부골절의 발생이 2례, 지연나사의 관절내 돌출 1례였다. 결 론 : 대퇴골 전자부 골절의 치료로 근위 대퇴정은 정확한 삽입 위치, 삽입시의 조심스러운 확공, 지연나사의 연골하 골에 단단하게 고정시키는 등의 주의를 한다면 수술시간, 출혈량 감소 등의 술중 합병증을 줄이고, 견고한 내고정을 통한 조기 보행을 가능하게 하며, 좋은 골유합 등이 기대되므로, 특히 고령, 분쇄골절, 역행성 골절, 골다공증이 심한 경우에서 바람직한 수술방법으로 사료된다. Purpose : To evaluate the treatment results of geriatric intertochanteric fractures using a proximal femoral nail. Materials and Methods : From April 2001 to February 2002, 71 cases of the intertrochanteric fractures involving lesser trochanter, transverse or reverse oblique intertrochanteric fracture. We evaluated the bone union time, neck-shaft angle, lag screw sliding by follow up radiographs, operation time, blood loss and complications. Results : The average age was 77.5 years old, the mean duration of follow-up was 9 months and the mean duration of bone union was 13.8 weeks. The average neck-shaft angle on immediate postop. x-ray was 131.9 ± 5.21˚ and 129.9 ± 6.04˚ at last follow up and the average lag screw sliding was 4.21 ± 4.13㎜. The average operation time was 61 minutes and blood loss was 0.67 pints(134cc). Intraoperative complications were inadequate reduction in one case, difficulty in distal transfixing in one case and drill bit failure in one case and postoperative complications were loss of neck-shaft angle(more than 5 degree) in 12 cases, femur neck fracture in 2 cases and intraarticular cutting out of femur neck screw in one case. Conclusions : The use of the proximal femoral nail could be appropriate for the fixation of communited or reverse oblique intertrochanteric fracture in elderly, osteroporotic patients for early ambulation, preventing shortening and rotation deformity, and reducing operation time and blood loss.

      • 와인딩 공정에서 접압롤의 동특성에 관한 연구

        In a web winding process, the contact roll plays many important roles in air entrainment control and WIT(Wound In Tension) regulation. The behavior of the contact roll significantly affects the winding tension characteristics specifically at the time of contact and separation when the tangential velocities of contact roll and winding roll are not synchronized. A new mathematical model which includes the behavior of the web tension, the winding roll, the carriage and the contact roll is derived for the control of the winding tension. By using the model derived, a non-linear PID(NPID) controller is designed to control the winding tension at the time of contact and separation between the contact roll and the winding roll. Computer simulation study showed that the performance of the winding system with the NPID controller was significantly improved compared with that of a system with PID controller.
