The effects of dry or wet aging on the quality of the longissimus muscle from 4-year-old Hanwoo cows and 28-month-old Hanwoo steers

<P> This study was conducted to discover the differences in physicochemical and sensory qualities of beef from 4-year-old Hanwoo cows and 2-year-old Hanwoo steers after undergoing different meat aging methods. Additionally, the possibility of using 4-year-old cows as value-added aged meat was investigated. Loins from eight cows (average 51 months old) and eight steers (average 28 months old) of quality grade 2 were aged for 28 days using dry and wet aging. Analyses were conducted to evaluate meat quality, including moisture content, pH, cooking loss, shear force, nucleotides, free amino acids (FAA), and sensory evaluation. After 28 days of aging, the moisture and shear force for loins from steers and cows were reduced compared with those of non-aged meat (P < 0.05). Cooking loss was reduced by dry aging. Regardless of aging method and gender, aging decreased inosine-50-monophosphate content but increased FAA content (P < 0.05). Dry aging increased glutamic acid content in meat, and aging the meat of steer increased the content of aspartic acid and glutamic acid (P < 0.05). Before aging, sensory scores for juiciness, tenderness, flavour, and overall acceptance between cow and steer were significantly different (P < 0.05), but the differences disappeared after aging. Therefore, the quality of lower grade meat from 4-year-old cows is comparable to that of meat from 2-year-old steers after aging, regardless of the aging method used. </P>

Policy Tasks to PROTECT and Foster Korean Traditional Markets

Purpose: This study reviewed the facility modernization support project and the market management inno-vation support project that the Korean government has been promoting to vitalize the traditional market. Based on this, the achievements and limitations of the traditional market protection and promotion were investigated, and based on the market status analysis, a policy task proposal was attempted to foster the traditional market. Method: This study aimed to find out what direction the countermeasure strategy should take to protect and foster Korea's traditional market. In order to achieve this research objective, first, data of the online research reports of Korea Research Institute for Local Administration(KRILA) was reviewed, and statistical data of the Small Enterprise and Market Service(SEMAS) related to the Korean traditional market was collected to confirm the current policy process. Results: First, study proposed reinforcing urban regeneration strategy and integration frame, strengthening cooperation with large retailers and promoting regional growth strategies, etc. as a policy task to foster tradi-tional markets. Reinforcement of urban regeneration strategies and integrated frames incorporates urban de-velopment strategies and place-centered strategies of traditional markets to foster regional integration that establishes identity, diverse economic and cultural spaces as the center of the local community. Second, The promotion of regional customized growth strategies proposed the construction of continuous growth strategies considering the unique characteristics of traditional markets depending on their location or conditions. Conclusion: The protection and fostering of traditional markets shall be promoted in an integrated aspect of regional development on the basis of clearly establishing policy goals for enhancing competitiveness. In the case of policies that restrict the consumer class to simply residents within local governments, the competitiveness of traditional markets can be reduced and the chances of survival can be threatened. Therefore, sustainable development will be guaranteed when policies are established to absorb potential consumers through co-operation between urban development and the distribution economy.

프랑스와 한국의 언어사용에서 드러나는 인지방식(긍정과 부정)과 그에 따른 문화 차이 : 주역(周易)의 64괘를 비롯한 음양 대립을 중심으로

Dans la mesure où la différence culturelle reflète celle du mode cognitif, nous analysons comment le français et le coréen incarnent les natures opposées entre Yin et Yang car la langue humaine consitute le mode et la façon de la pensée humaine. Cette recherche nous mène à localiser cette différence dans les paires de doubles-trigrammes du YKing, lesquels sont situés sur les antipondes dans le cercle du soixante-quatre doubles- trigrammes. Cette différence cognitive qui se concrétise par l’opposition du positif et négatif dans le fond aussi bien que dans la forme peut être visualisée également par les traits et flèches qui traversent le Taegeuk. En ce sens, notre recherche qui trouve le principe de Yin et Yang au sein des deux langues et deux cultures de la Corée et la France s’enregistre dans la vérité même révélée par le Livre des Changements qui montre que l’opposition et l’harmonie entre Yin et Yang régit tous les phénomès de l’univers.

자율주행자동차의 동적 장애물 회피

자율주행자동차가 보급됨에 따라 장애물 회피는 더욱 더 중요해지고 있다. 많은 데이터가 주어지지 않은 상황에서는 모델을 심층 강화학습으로 대게 학습하는데, 이러한 연구들은 정적인 장애물 환경에서만 이루어졌다는 단점이 존재한다. 따라서, 본 연구는 이를 보완하고자 자율주행자동차의 장애물 회피를 동적 장애물 회피 환경에서 적용한다. 먼저, LiDAR 센서의 성능을 확인하고자 AWS Deepracer에서 다양한 모델을 생성하여서 성능을 비교 분석하였다. 결과적으로 LiDAR 센서의 성능이 뛰어나다는 것을 알 수는 있었으나, 트랙 주행율이 높지 않았다는 한계점이 존재했기에, 이를 보완하기 위해 보상함수를 수정하고 추가로 분석을 진행하는 등 연구를 심층적으로 진행하였다. AWS Deepracer에서는 동적 장애물을 지원하지 않기 때문에 Unity와 Unity ML-Agents 패키지를 이용하였다. 시뮬레이션 환경을 구현한 다음, 자동차가 트랙을 잘 주행하는지 확인하기 위한 훈련을 진행하였다. 이를 확인한 다음에는 장애물을 회피하는 코드가 정상적으로 작동이 되는 것을 확인하기 위한 훈련도 진행하였다. 마지막으로, 장애물들을 무작위적으로 움직이게 설정한 다음에 훈련을 진행하여서 동적 장애물 환경에서도 자율주행자동차가 잘 회피를 할 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. As autonomous cars are becoming popular, obstacle avoidance are becoming more important. In circumstances where data is not sufficiently provided, deep reinforcement learning is widely used. However, related studies only consider static obstacles which are not that useful in real situations. In this study, we apply obstacle avoidance of autonomous cars into dynamic obstacles. First of all, we used AWS Deepracer in order to check the performance of LiDAR sensors. We did showed that LiDAR sensor model are better than the other models, but the track completion was too low. Resultantly, we conducted additional experiences to improve the model and verified in-depth that LiDAR sensor showed a good performance. Since AWS Deepracer doesn’t provides a dynamic obstacle environment, we used Unity and Unity ML-Agents Package to simulate the environment. After we made the environment, we conducted experiments to check whether the car actually drives the track well. Then, we conducted experiments to check whether the code for obstacle avoidance worked well. Lastly, we made the obstacles move and conducted experiments which showed us that the cars avoided the dynamic obstacles well enough.

출판번역의 교정과 교열 현황

본 논문은 2007년 이상원의 논문 ‘출판번역의 교정 교열’을 바탕으로 오늘날의 출판업계의 교정 교열 과정을 알아보기 위해 2020년 출간된 책 『라오스』를 분석대상으로 선정하였다. 지난 15년 동안 과거와는 달리 자금력이 작은 소규모 출판사들이 두 배로 증가하였고, 이에 자격을 갖춘 교열 교정전문가의 인력은 줄어들었으며 그들이 처한 상황도 변했다. 오늘날 출판사의 교정 교열 과정을 살펴보는 것은 출판계의 현재 상황을 이해하고 개선하는데 의미가 있을 것으로 기대한다. This paper, as a case study, studied the book, titled “Laos”, published in 2020 to grasp the situation of revision in translation for publishing in past and present, comparing with Lee Sang Won’s thesis, ‘Revision in translation for publishing’ in 2007. For the past 15 years, as small publishers have doubled, having few high qualified revisors and the situation is also different. Therefore, looking into the revision process of small publishers is meaningful to understand the current situation of publishing industry.

한국어와 불어 상호 번역과 관계된 사유패턴의 특성 - 사상(四象) 이획괘의 비교언어학

본 연구는 불어와 한국어의 표현양상의 차이를 陰陽과 四象으로 풀어낸 성찰로서, 주역의 음양론을 언어현상에 적용시킨 새로운 학문 분야 즉 비교언어학 주역의 시초가 되기를 기대한다. 본문의 1장에서는 먼저 양 언어의 음양적 특색을 검토한다. 그리하여 문장구조 순서가 두 언어에서 서로 정반대라는 사실은 앞과 뒤의 음양적 대립이 지구상의 다양한 언어현상으로 각각 발현된 것으로 본다. 정(靜)과 동(動)의 음양대립은 태극이라는 같은 내용을 표현할 때 다른 단어를 주로 사용함으로서 발현된다. 그 외에도 한 쪽 언어가 다른 쪽 언어에 해당하는 등가 번역 표현을 검토하는 과정에서 함의의 부정과 긍정이 대립적으로 쓰이고 있음 역시 분석하였다. 마지막으로 전과 후에 대한 가치관의 음양적 대립이 문법적 전후의 뒤바뀜으로도 반영되어 있음을 드러낸다. 이후 2장에서는 사상적 특질 분석으로 들어간다. 그리하여 ‘자아개념’을 무화시키고 내적 정신에 주로 활동을 집중시키는 ‘자기무화’의 한국어 표현방식의 특성은 사상의 괘에서 소음의 괘에 해당함을 밝혔다. 반면 실체를 찾을 수 없는 ‘나’란 개념을 겉으로 강하게 내세우는 불어의 양(陽)적 사유방식은 소양의 괘상에 해당함을 밝혔다. 아울러 상부의 효 자리는 음양의 언어학으로 ‘자아개념’의 자리이며 하부의 효 자리는 ‘발화자가 대화 상대와 맺는 관계’의 자리임도 정의하였다. 뿐만 아니라 구문과 단어에 따라 불어에서의 태양, 소양적인 표현, 한국어에서의 소음, 태음적인 표현이 어떤 것인지를 구체적 예를 통하여 짚어내었다. 그리하여 양국의 언어에서 보이는 사유방식의 특성을 역경의 괘상 특히 사상 이획괘에서 발견해 낼 수 있었다. 이러한 우리의 연구는 사유패턴이라는 내용과 문법적 측면이라는 형식의 양면에서 모두 음양적 대립 내지는 더욱 세분화된 사상(四象)의 특질이 발현되어 있음을 밝히는 작업이다. There has not yet been a study based on the Book of Changes and its Yin-Yang and Sasang on the difference between European languages such as French and Asian languages such as Korean. So our study would compose a new sciences where Yin-Yang and Sasang are applied to linguistics to better explain the linguistic phenomenon. The annihilation of the ego characterized in Korean corresponds to the upper part of the bigram of Sasang, which is signed by Yang and form Soeum. , whereas, the strong notion in regard to the ego is reflected in the upper part of the bigram of Sasang, which is signed by Yin and form Soyang. The lower part of the bigram of Sasang represents the relationship between an enunciator and his interlocutor. We have also elucidated the linguistic elements that correspond to the nature of Soeum, Tai-eum and Soyang, Taiyang in both Korean and French in comparing the way an expression could be better translated in the other language. Our study concerns the intuition as well as the logical argument on the phenomenon of languages by locating the nature of Korean and French in the bigrams of the Book of Changes.

앙리 카르티에-브레송의 ‘결정적 순간’의 의미작용상의 특징

앙리 카르티에-브레송 사진작품을 이미지 기호로 보아 그 의미작용상의 특징이 바로 ‘결정적 순간’의 특수성과 불가분의 관계에 있음을 드러냄이 본 논문의 목표이다. 그의 사진 이미지에서, 조형적 기호가 야기하는 해석체는 다양한 상징적, 추상적, 철학적 개념이나 심지어는 허구적 서술내용에까지 이르는데 이때 해석체와 대상이 일치하지 않는 현상이 발생한다. 즉 표상체 내의 조형적 기호가 중심이 되어 의미를 생산하기에 그에 따른 해석체는 지시대상과 완전히 일치하지 않는 것이다. 그것은 도상적 기호의 지시대상적 측면이 그대로 해석체의 내용을 이루는 통상적 사진의 경우와 분명히 구별되는 의미작용이다. In the semiotic analysis of the photographs in general, the iconic sign produces the interpretant, or meaning to the viewer, which leads to the concordance between the interpretant and the object photographed. In this article, a semiotic analysis of the photographs of Henri Cartier-Bresson as an image-sign reveals the signification of the “decisive moment”. In that case, the interpretant does not correspond to the object in the pattern proposed by Charles Sanders Peirce, because it is not the iconic sign, but the plastic sign that produces the interpretant. So Cartier-Bresson's “decisive moment” shows the necessity to correct Peirce's semiotic pattern and even Martine Joly's opinion expressed in her discourse on the uniqueness of a work of art because she didn’t see that she meant the uniqueness that comes from the object and not from the plastic sign, which is not the signification of the photographs of Henri Cartier-Bresson.
