Identifying target experiences based on user’s needs and wishes in the future domestic electric oven

This research aims to understand the user and identify user experiences for the future oven. LG lightwave oven was chosen as the stimuli product in the study. To achieve the research goal, a user study was conducted to find out user’s needs and wishes. A set of research techniques were used such as survey, collage, guided tour, observation and retrospective interview. A total number of 53 subjects participated in the study. To verify that the ideas are meaningful, survey was conducted by 48 subjects and guided tour, observation, interview and collage was conducted by 5 subjects. Target user experiences in the future oven were derived from the results. Confusing and disconcerting trays, water container and buttons have usability problem and oven users expect and desire elaborate and sophisticated oven which is at the same time very easy to use.

<P>Flavins, comprising flavin mononucleotide (FMN), flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD), and riboflavin (RF, vitamin B(2)), play important roles in numerous redox reactions such as those taking place in the electron-transfer chains of mitochondria in all eukaryotes and of plastids in plants. A selective chemosensor for flavins would be useful not only in the investigation of metabolic processes but also in the diagnosis of diseases related to flavins; such a sensor is presently unavailable. Herein, we report the first bifunctional chemosensor (PTZ-DPA) for flavins. PTZ-DPA consists of bis(Zn(2+)-dipicolylamine) and phenothiazine. Bis(Zn(2+)-dipicolylamine) (referred to here as XyDPA) was found to be an excellent catalyst in the conversion of FAD into cyclic FMN (riboflavin 4',5'-cyclic phosphate, cFMN) under physiological conditions, even at pH 7.4 and 27 degrees C, with less than 1 mol % of substrate. Utilizing XyDPA's superior function as an artificial FMN cyclase and phenothiazine as an electron donor able to quench the fluorescence of an isoalloxazine ring, PTZ-DPA enabled selective fluorescent discrimination of flavins (FMN, FAD, and RF): FAD shows ON(+), FMN shows OFF(-), and RF shows NO(0) fluorescence changes upon the addition of PTZ-DPA. With this selective sensing property, PTZ-DPA is applicable to real-time fluorescent monitoring of riboflavin kinase (RF to FMN), alkaline phosphatase (FMN to RF), and FAD synthetase (FMN to FAD).</P>

급격한 고령화 사회로의 진입과 서구화된 식습관에 의해 협심증, 심근경색증, 고혈압 등에 의한 심장질환자의 수가 5년간 10만명 이상 증가했다. 심장질환은 지난 8년간 꾸준히 국내 사망원인 2위를 기록 중이며, 이로 인해 연간 소모되는 의료비는 6조원에 달한다. 증가한 환자와 함께 다양한 치료법이 제시되고 있는 가운데, 현재 보편화 된 관상동맥 중재시술 중 스텐트 삽입술의 단점인 재협착이나 장기간 이중항혈소판제 복용으로 인한 출혈의 위험 증가 등의 문제점을 보완하기 위해 약물코팅풍선카테터가 개발되어 점차 상용화되고 있는데, 국내에선 2010년 ‘SeQuent Please<sup>Ⓡ</sup> (비브라운코리아)’라는 제품이 처음 출시되면서 약물코팅풍선카테터를 사용한 시술이 시작되었고, 이후 2012년 보험급여가 적용되면서 그 사용량이 본격적으로 늘어났다. 약물코팅풍선치료는 국내뿐만 아니라 전 세계적으로 사용이 증가하고 있는데, 특히 일본을 포함한 아시아태평양 지역에서 그 사용량이 급격히 증가하고 있다. 현재까지 국산 제품의 수요가 증가하고 있는 상황이며 향후, 동물시험 및 임상시험에서의 성능이 입증된다면 위험성이 높은 스텐트 삽입술에 비해 효과적인 시술이 될 것이라 예상한다. As a result of the rapid entry into an aging society and westernized eating habits, the number of heart disease patients caused by angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, and high blood pressure has increased by more than 100,000 over five years. Heart disease has consistently ranked second in the cause of death in Korea over the past eight years, and medical expenses consumed annually reach 6 trillion won. While various treatments are being proposed for more patients, drug-coated balloon catheters have been developed and gradually commercialized to solve the disadvantages of stent implantation such as restenosis and increased risk of bleeding due to long-term double antiplatelet medication. In Korea, it began to use a drug-coated balloon catheter with the first release of it called “SeQuent Please<sup>Ⓡ</sup> (Bibrown Korea)” in 2010. Its demand increased gradually as insurance benefits were applied in 2012. Drug-coated balloon angioplasty is increasing in use not only in Korea but also around the world, especially in the Asia-Pacific region, including Japan. Until now, the demand for domestic products is increasing, and if the efficiency in vivo and clinical trials is proven in the future, it is expected to be an effective procedure compared to high-risk stent implantation.

<P>As a way to develop a neuroprotective agent for the JNK3-JIP1-binding site, peptidomimetics of JIP-1 as JNK3 allosteric regulators have been examined. The study consisted of in silico scaffold hopping, molecular docking, solution and solid-phase peptide syntheses, and Kd measurements using surface plasmon resonance. As a peptidomimetic of JIP1, heptamer mimetic 16 (Kd =2.72?μm) displayed a higher affinity than decamer JIP1 (Kd =23.6?μm). The high affinity of 16 implies that the characteristic γ-turn mimetic structure, 'φ-X-φ' hydrophobic motif in 16, increased its affinity toward the JIP-site of JNK3.</P>
요양병원 종사자들의 직무 스트레스와 직무 만족도가 서비스 질에 미치는 영향

연구목적: 요양병원에 근무하는 종사자들을 대상으로 직무 스트레스, 직무 만족도 및 서비스 질에 대해 조사하고 직무 스트레스, 직무 만족도 및 서비스 질에 대한 관계와 영향을 파악하여 직무 스트레스를 낮추고 직무 만족도와 서비스 질을 높이기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 연구방법: 요양병원에 종사하는 직원들의 직무 스트레스, 직무 만족도 및 서비스 질 정도의 상관성과 영향을 파악하기 위한 서술적 상관관계 연구로서, 연구 대상자의 일반적 특성과 직무 스트레스, 직무 만족도 및 서비스 질 사이의 상관분석과 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 자료 분석결과 연구 대상자들의 ‘직무 스트레스’는 평균적으로 낮고, ‘직무 만족도’와 ‘서비스 질’은 높은 것으로 나타났으며 통계적으로 유의하였다. 결론: 직무 스트레스가 낮을수록 직무 만족도와 서비스 질이 높아지고, 직무 만족도가 높을수록 서비스 질은 높아졌다. 요양 병원의 핵심 인력인 간호사, 간호조무사들의 직무 스트레스가 높게 나타나고 있어 이들의 직무 만족도를 높여 서비스 질을 향상 시키는 방안을 마련하는 것이 우선으로 필요하며, 요양병원 종사자들의 직무 스트레스를 낮추기 위한 프로그램 운영과 복지 및 근로환경을 개선하는 것이 필요하다. objective: This research aims to examine the relationship between job stress, job satisfaction, and service quality among employees at long-term care hospital and to provide preliminary data for lowering job stress for employees and for raising job satisfaction and service quality. methods: This study is a descriptive correlation research which aims to study the correlation between job stress, job satisfaction, and service quality among long-term care hospital employees and implemented correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis between research subjects’ general characteristics and aforementioned factors. results: Research results show that ‘job stress’ was low in average, while ‘job satisfaction’ and ‘service quality’ showed an overall favorable condition with a high average and statistically significant. Conclusions: Results show the lower the job stress, the higher the job satisfaction and service quality, and the higher the job satisfaction, the higher the service quality. Study shows the necessity for raising work satisfaction among nurses and nurse assitants, the main personnel at long-term care hospital, who displayed relatively high job stress levels. To enhance job satisfaction levels, providing programs for managing job stress and improving work environment ought to be considered.
