서정주의 『꽃밭의 독백-娑蘇斷章』에 대한 정신분석학적 해석

Seo Jeong-ju’s poem, “Monologue at a Flower Garden,” has been interpreted in two ways. The poem is narrated in the first voice in a form of monologue by Saso. According to the myth, Saso is known as the mother of Bak Hyeokgeose, the progenitor of Silla Kingdom. The interpretation varies in accordance with the imagination of the speaker’s situation. If she is believed to be the mother of the progenitor, she belongs to the Godly world, and therefore the expression of “Open the door, flower” signifies the first speaker’s strong will to enter the eternity. However, if the speaker is simply identified as a woman who are in love but just sent into exile, the expression is interpreted as the speaker’s venture to overcome anguish. In this article, I attempt to reinterpret the poem by employing Lacan’s psychoanalytic theory. Saso’s trouble and anguish are derived from the realization that she has been subordinated to The Symbolic, where she compromises her self-fulfilling unity from The Real. Her interest in hunting “wild birds” and “wild boars” symbolizes the desire of Other, not herself. Now she lost her interest in them and wants to go into The Real where the signifiant of Other’s desire doesn’t defer. That’s why she is shouting “Open the door, flower” in front of flowers. Here, the flower is objet-a which symbolizes the imaginative object that represents Other’s desire. Therefore, this poem poses a psychological dilemma and inquires into the ontological condition of human being and the possibility of subjectification.

요통 환자에 대한 물리치료방법의 적용 시간을 중심으로 한 기술적 연구

Objective: The purpose of study was to compare physical therapy duration in relation tohealth care organization system in patients with low back pain. Subjects: Subjects of this study were 759 patients who are receiving physical therapy at 56 health care organization. Methods: Data were collected by questionnaire that had been completed by patients and physical therapist for two months. Physical therapy procedures consisted of modality application, manual therapy, active therapeutic exercise, and patient education. Physical therapy session duration was investigated for each physical therapy procedure. Data were analyzed in relation to the university hospital, hospital, and clinic. Results: The mean age of subjects was 42.84±15.46. There were no significant differences in age among three groups. The number of patients diagnosed with herniated disc were 244(32.15%) and with mechanical low back pain was 187(24.64%). the mean treatment duration per day was 53.22 minutes, and the longest treatment duration was 61.28 minutes at the university hospitals(p<0.001). The mean modality application duration was 42.17 minutes, and the longest application duration was 46.26 minutes at the university hospitals(p<0.001). The mean duration for manual therapy was 5.11 minutes, and the longest treatment duration was 5.97 minutes at clinics. The mean duration for active therapeutic exercise was 4.16 minutes. It was 7.60 minutes at the university hospitals, and 2.48 minutes at clinics. There was a significant difference in active therapeutic exercise duration between university hospitals and clinics(p<0.001). For modalities, hot packs(89.33%) and interferential current therapy(60.87%) were mostly applied. For manual therapy, Soft tissue mobilization(32.93%) and manipulation(14.10%) were mostly applied. In general, treatment application duration was longer at University hospital (p<0.05). For therapeutic exercise, exercise without equipment(18.84%) and muscle strengthening(16.73%) were mostly performed. The longest treatment duration for therapeutic exercise was 7.60 minutes at the university hospital(p<0.05). Conclusion: physical therapy session duration for low back pain was 53.22 minutes. Modality application constitutes 79%, manual therapy 10%, active therapeutic exercise 8% of total treatment duration. It is concluded that patients do not participate actively in treatment procedures.

The purpose of this study is to define the correlation between consumer's needs appearing diversely in recent years and characteristics of apartment unit plan derived from categorizing composition forms of unit plan. The results of this study are as follows; ① The separation and connection of public zone have relation to use space economically with living room in the center. ② The opened space composition is reflected to an increase in size and openness of the living room. ③ The variability by the hierarchy change of space appears into the introduction of variable designs through light wall and family room. ④ The protection of privacy and communication have relation to the separation of master zone and conversion of inner room to family communication space. ⑤ The diversity and individualization of rooms appear into giving a special function to rooms increased by the extension of bay. ⑥ the extension and connection of service space are reflected to an increase in size of balcony and storage and the flexibility of utility space. ⑦ The recovery of emotionality has relation to the introduction of interior garden.

양식장 배출물 발효물의 어류 사료 첨가에 따른 넙치, Paralichthys olivaceus의 혈액학적 변동에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 우리나라 주요 양식어류인 넙치, Paralichthys olivaceus를 대상으로 육상수조식양식장 배출물 발효물의 어류 사료 첨가에 따른 혈액학적 변동에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 젖산균 및 효모를 사용하여 발효한 양식장 배출물의 이화학적 분석을 실시하였고, 발효물을 0.1, 0.5, 1.0 및 5.0% 농도로 8주간 투여하였다. 투여 4주째 및 8주째에 각 투여 구간별로 혈액학적 항목을 중심으로 그 차이를 확인하였다. 배출물 발효농도별 유의한 차이는 나타나지 않았지만, 분석시기에 따른 적혈구수, 혈색소 농도 및 혈색소 지수가 증가하는 경향을 나타내었으나, 주요 혈청 무기 및 유기성분은 배출 발효물 농도별로 유의한 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 또한 혈청 효소학적 조사에서는 조사시기별로 변동은 나타났지만, 동일 조시시기에서 각 구간별 유의한 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 따라서 이러한 육상 약식장 유래의 배출물 발효산물에 대한 다양한 방면의 연구가 진행되어야겠다. Effects of oral administration with fermented product from sewage in land-based seawater fish farm on haematological disturbance in the olive flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus was investigated. After 4 weeks of conditioning with a basal diet, fish were divided into 4 groups and provided experimental diet (0.1,0.5, 1.0 and 2.0%) supplement of fermented sewage for 80 days. Proximal analysis was performed for the product of sewage which was fermented by lactic acid and yeast. RBC count, hemoglobin concentration and hematocrit value were increased according to the treated periods, however, no statistical difference was observed between control and treatment groups. There were no significant difference in serum organic, inorganic compounds and enzyme activities between control and treatment groups. This study hypothesized that the supplement of fermented product from sewage in land-based seawater fish farm might be an additive sup plement for source of fish diet in view of haematological examination. Recycling of the sewage may be an economic artificial sources of diet for fish aquaculture practices.

The main purpose of the demanding surgical corrections aimed to improve esthetic appearance and masticatory function. But there are presumable etiologic factors in the development of T M symptoms after orthognathic surgery, that is, potential joint pathology due to different morphology of TMJ, hypombility after surgery, changes in condylar position, and changes in neuromuscular adaptation. These factors can influence on TMJ function. It is very important to find the etiological factors of TMD after surgery. Consequently, this survey was performed to evaluate TMJ function in 65 patients by questionaires, physical examination, radiogram after maxillofacial surgical corrections of the deformity patient. All patients were received pre- and post-operative orthodontic treatment. An acylic splint(wafer) was constructed prior to surgery with occlusal contacts in the anterior and posterior. The study group was consisted of 26 males and 39 females. The patients were evaluated at an average fellow-up period of 17.2 months with a range of 15 to 27 months. The results obtained were as follows: 1. The 65 patients were found to present preoperatively TMJ dysfunction symptom with an incidence of 18.5%(12 cases). 2. The patients with no TMJ dysfunction symptoms preoperatively, presented such symptom with an indicence of 26.4%(14 cases) postoperatively. 3. The main symptoms of TMJ dysfunction were 17 joints(15 clicking), TMJ pain(5 cases). 4. The mean preoperative MIO(maximal interincisal opening) of 49.7㎜ was reduced to 43.9㎜ postoperatively after sagittal split ramus osteotomy(n=38) with wire osteosynthesis(p<0.05).

The purpose of this study is to develope deterministic optimal reservoir operation rules by integrating dynamic programming, regression analysis, and simulation. The objective function was designed to minimize system-loss function Z. The time dependent loss function is govemed by release R?? for each month. The general constraints for the given objective function are derived from mass balance, upper and lower bounds of the storages and releases. In this study, regression method was applied for inflow and storage to develop the operation rules. The method was successfully applied to the data from Daechung Dam. Differences between observed and predicted value may be caused by the differences in intake amounts.

In 1930's, capitalism gradually became established in Chosun. As Chosun's economy was incorporated into the global capitalistic system, the domestic economy became dependent on the international market. During this time, Kyeong-Seong was transformed into a capitalistic city. Various forms of modern facilities appeared, while urban consumerism constituted the city life. Thus, the everyday life in Kyeong-Seong demanded the acceptance of modern culture in order to adapt to the changing environment. Inside the city, people experienced modern civilization and urban consuming life, and came to adjust their form of living and their viewpoint of the world. This thesis examines the advertisement and text that appears in the newspapers, magazines, and other journalistic material of the thirties in order to determine how the commercials, romance, hobby or entertainment, and the newly discovered "pastoral" influenced the contemporary life and mind. Also, we intend to reveal how these factors took form in the contemporary literature. The contemporary Korean writers were inevitably surrounded by the popular and urban sensibility mentioned above. Even though unconsciously, or sometimes through negative criticism, this sensibility was included in their text. Even the nature that was considered to be a replacement of the desolate and inhuman city life was in fact a filtered form of nature - an image constructed by the popular culture and advertisements. Also, the romance described by the sensitive authors often took the form of a consumer love. Meanwhile, judging from the penetration of commercial statements which appears in several works, there was a growing desire to consume the image. Along with the newly adapted hobbies and leisure culture, the Korean life style went through a significant change, and so did the content of the contemporary novels. The urban sensibility formed in Kyeong-seong during the nineteen thirties can be defined as the common popular sensibility attained by people living in a capitalistic consuming culture. It is attitude of setting the commercial image as a model of life, and is the search of individual life in the standardized and uniform life style of the popular culture. Whether they chose to criticize it or saturate themselves in it, the contemporary writers were unavoidably related to this sensibility and life style.

Changing Security Environment in Northeast Asia and South Korea’s Security Dilemma

South Korea’s geopolitical standing in the region has been determined by how it manages its relations with regional superpowers, including the United States, China, Russia, and Japan. With U.S.-China relations quickly deteriorating, the security environment in Northeast Asia is undergoing great changes and this new environment has put South Korea in a very difficult position. South Korea’s security dilemma in the region revolves around three key issues. The first concern centers on North Korea’s growing nuclear and missile capabilities, and the diplomatic deadlock in U.S.-DPRK relations. The second challenge stems from deteriorating relations between the U.S. and China and the strategic choice that South Korea is being forced to make. Last but not least, South Korea is challenged by the status of the ROK-U.S. Alliance amidst widespread speculations that it has weakened as of late. To manage this predicament, South Korea must delicately navigate the tides while adopting policies that will benefit South Korea’s national interests in the security and economic fields. However, South Korea’s role in managing its concerns is limited and prospect for breakthrough appears dim due to its limited leverage and the differences among the regional stakeholders.
