        This study was undertaken as a literature survey to reevaluate the functionality of the health functional foods for gastrointestinal tract, in particular, dietary fibers. This study intend to furnish data which can be applied to assessment of permitted dose and description of notice, investigating literatures about functionality related to control of gastrointestinal function and establishment of intake for these dietary fibers.

      • 하루 콩단백질 25g 섭취를 위한 메뉴작성 및 영양성분 분석

        The purpose of this study was to develop menus for daily intake of 25g soybean protein and to analyse nutrients of these foods. Analytical values were compared to the theoretical one using the food composition table and recommended dietary allowances for Koreans (7th revision). The results are as follows. 1. Soybean curd residue stew, Soybean curd, Kimchi saute, and hard boiled soybean and lotus root were selected for the menu for January, of which the content of soy bean protein(SBP) was 33.1g, soybean stew, soybean curd and soybean sprout saute, and Italian deep fried soybean curd were for February, of which the content of SBP was 35.0g. The content of SBP in soybean paste soup with soybean curd, fried soybean curd and fried soybean curd roll, the menu for March, was 24.9g. That of April were soybean curd gratin with soymilk, soybean curd and ham with garlic dressing and the content of SBP was 26.3g. That of May were soybean porridge, soybean flour cake with honey (Dasik), soybean sprout soup and the content of SBP was 26.7g. That of June were soymilk, pan-fried soybean curd, steamed soybean curd with chicken and the content of SBP was 28.4g. That of July were noodle with soymilk, mapatofu, soybean curd salad and the content of SBP was 24.7g. That of August were soybean sprout with mustard dressing, Tossed green pepper with raw soybean flour, Tofu and Kimchi stew, soybean curd steak and the content of SBP was 26.2g. That of September were Chinese cabbage soup with raw soybean flour, sweet and sour tofu and the content of SBP was 23.2g. That of Oct. were Fermented soybean stew, soybean pan cake and the content of SBP was 24.3g. That of November were not-pressed soybean curd casserole, pan-fried mashed soybean curd with egg, stir frying deep-fried soybean curd with vegetables and the content of SBP was 22.4g. That of December were soybean curd and mushroom casserole, fried soybean curd and vegetables, hard boiled soybean curd and the content of SBP was 28.9g. 2. The ratio of the analytical value over theoretical value (A/B%) of one serving in kcal, carbohydrate, protein, fat, ash and dietary fiber were 57.7~107.7%, 42.9~131.9%, 79.2~118.3%, 54.5~100%, 40.7~80.8% and 42.1~113.2%, respectively. 3. The ratio of A/B% of one serving in Ca, K, Na, P and Fe were 44.1~93.6%, 59.0~153.1%, 53.1~117.7% 64.6%~138.8 and 33.8~77.3%, respectively. That in Fe was the lowest among minerals. 4. The ratio of analytical value over Korean R.D.A(A/C%) in Ca was relatively higher (22.0~85.9%) than that in kcal(18~63%). 5. The ratio of A/C% in Fe was 25.1~64.3% and lower than that in Ca and protein in general.

        성인이 지각한 운동 장애 요인에 대한 성별, 나이별, 지역별 비교

        Perceive barriers to exercise were investigated for adults. Method: A total 1266 subjects were selected by a quota sampling method with age, gender, and residence. Perceived barriers were categorized under 4 groups: knowledge, psychological, physical, and external factors. All 23 items of perceived barriers were responded on a dichotomous(yes/no) scale. Result: Mean number of perceived barriers was 4.61 and 87.9% subjects perceived at least one barrier which prevented involvement in exercise. External barriers ranked highest. Followed in order by psychological, knowledge, and physical barriers. Most acts of perceived barriers were found to be different by age, gender, and residence, in that, the younger, female, living in Daejeon subjects were found to respond with more barriers than the older, male, living in Chungju or Seoul. Conclusion: Perceived barriers to exercise are different by age, gender, and residence. Therefore, it is recommended that age, gender, and residence of subjects must be considered in order to develop exercise programs and public campaigns.

      • HPTLC에 의한 鹿茸의 Glycolipids 分析

        녹용에서 생리 활성 물질을 찾기위한 첫번째 연구로 녹용 중의 당지질을 분석하였다. chloroform : methanol : 0.88% KCI 용매를 사용하여 수용성 녹용 추출액 중에서 당지질을 추출 한 후 HPTLC 방법에 의해 chloroform : methanol : 0.02% CaCl_2 전개 용매 중에서 분리하여 orcinol : ferric chloride : sulfuric acid 발색시약으로 확인하였다. 그 결과 녹용에는 4 종류의 당지질이 존재하고 있음을 알 수 있었고 그 band 1은 ganglioside GD_1a로, band 3는 GM_1으로 간주된다. 녹용의 부위에 따라 분석해 본 결과 상중대가 하대보다 더 많은 당지질을 함유하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이 분석 방법을 이용해서 녹용이 들어 있는 생약제제를 분석해 본 결과 녹용의 존재를 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 다른 생약 제제에 들어 있는 녹용의 존재 확인 실험에 이용될 수 있다. In this study, the composition of glycolipids in deer antler was investigated. All nonpolar glycolipids were extracted by chloroform : methanol : 0.88% KCI mixture from the aqueous extract of deer antler. Most glycolipids including gangliosides appeared as blue zones on a light background of TLC plate by spray reagent, orcinol-ferric chloride-sulfuric acid. The aqueous extract of antler contained 4 kinds of glycolipids and among them band 1, 3 were suggested to be GD_la and GM_l. The top and middle parts of antler contained more glycolipids than the bottom part. The Chinese natural medicines, such as Ginseng Antlertonic Extract and Ginseng Astragali Antler Extract, were confirmed to contain antler by this method. This method can be used for the identification of existence of antler in natural medicines containing deer antler.

        The purpose of this study was to explore how to access nuring information using computer and other softwares. It described the ways to reach and get the database on abstracts of masters' and doctoral dissertations in nursing and medicine in Korea. It also provided the ways to get nursing related database around the world, such as Medline, using internet search tools. Internet search tools included databases and their themes and unique characteristics. In addition, the study illustrated the ways to use netscape navigator using LAN or modem and to use CINAHL-CD-Rom title which is commonly utilized in nursing. The results of this study might help nurses and nursing scholars efficiently access the needed information and database which can be utilized in education and research areas.

        Currently, The original of traditional Nam-Hae area foods is changing by the inflex of process and food industrial development. Especially, Such factors as the influence of alien cooked, the development of transportation, Televising, the movement of population have made it hard to preserve the traditional food preparations. The purpose of this study was to seek out the various kinds or Man-Hae traditional foods preparation. To do this, about kinds of Nam-Hae traditional foods preparation were reviewed and chractered into several catagories. This finding of the study are as follows 1) The staple foods were made by boiled rice with barley, TOD boiled rice, potatoes gruel, boild moodles hand make with red bean. 2) soup were made by stone flounder, Hais tail fish ect. 3) Black porgy, Rock trout, flathead preparation were salted dried cooking and steaming splash on the various spice above the fish. 4) Nam-Hae persons were young radish water Kimchi than fermentation Kimchi. 5) Rice cake were maked by a citron.

      • 사회성 훈련 프로그램이 발달장애아동의 사회성 및 적응행동에 미치는 효과

        The Effects of a Social Skills Program on Improving Sociability, and Adaptive Behaviors of Children with Developmental Disabilities. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a social skills program on improving social skills, and adaptive behaviors of children with developmental disabilities. A total of nine children at the Language Therapy Center for children and adolescents in Gwangju Metropolitan City participated in this study with the consent from their parents. The research was conducted following one-group pretest-posttest design, a preexperimental design. A social skills program was implemented once a week with 90 minutes per session for 15 weeks. The effects of the program were evaluated by administering Social Maturity Scale, and Adaptive Behavior Scale before and after the program. The results showed that the scores in social maturity, and adaptive behavior scales, respectively, increased from pretest to posttest. This study concluded with a discussion on the implications of social skill programs for improving social skills, and adaptive behaviors of children with developmental disabilities in the field of social welfare. Implications and suggestion for future studies was discussed.

        한국 중년 여성의 운동 생활문화에 관한 탐색적 연구 : Q 방법론적 접근 A Q-methodological approach

        Purpose: This study was performed to identify the factors which affected exercise and the perceived exercise behaviors in women according to Q-methodology and to provide basic strategies for health promotion of middle-aged women in Korea. Method: Q-methodology provides a scientific method for identifying perception structures that exist within certain individuals or groups. Thirty subjects in Seoul, Incheon, Chung-buk classified 35 selected Q-statements in to 9 points standard. The collected data was analyzed by using a QUANL pc program. Result: Principal component analysis identified 3 types of exercise behavior of middle-aged women in Korea and named by the researcher. They are called persistent activity preference type, living-exercise preference type, exercise mania type. In persistent activity preference type, the middle-aged women thought activity was very helpful to achieving health and releasing stress or fatigue. Also, they recognized the relationship between physical health and psychological health. In living-exercise preference type, the middle-aged women preferred maintaining stability or nonactivity to intended exercise or activity for health. In exercise mania type, the middle-aged women thought there was no other way to keep her health than the exercise. Conclusion: The findings of this study will provide the health care provider including nurse with useful information. It's very important to offer appropriate exercise intervention to the middle-aged women of each type by taking into consideration the characteristics of individual types.
