        자기효능감, 사회복지옹호태도가 사회복지전공대학생의 다문화 수용성에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to examine the degree of social work student's multicultural receptiveness and how their self-efficacy and advocacy effects multicultural receptiveness. The result of the study highlighted the following:Firstly, social work student's multicultural receptiveness showed the relationship in the following order: visiting→ friends→neighbours/colleagues→nationalized→spouse→children's spouse. It also showed that social work student's had a high degree of acceptances of friendships with foreigners but had a low degree of acceptances of international marriage and foreigners who become nationalized. Secondly, in relation to self-efficacy, advocacy and multicultural receptiveness the result showed a significant difference according to academic performance and age of students. Thirdly, with regard to student's self-efficacy, advocacy and multicultural receptiveness, the result of the study showed the impact of student's self-efficacy effects on multicultural receptiveness but there was no effects on advocacy. The result of the study suggests that in order to improve social work students multicultural receptiveness, multicultural subjects should be included in the social work education system. The result of the study also suggests that in order to enhance student’s self-efficacy, the education and training program need to be provided. 본 연구에서는 사회복지전공 대학생들의 자기효능감, 사회복지옹호태도, 다문화 수용성을 살펴보고 자기효능감, 사회복지옹호태도가 다문화수용성에 영향을 미치는지 파악하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회복지전공 대학생들의 이주외국인과의 사회적 거리를 허용하는 정도를 통한 다문화수용성을 살펴본 결과, 방문→친구→이웃/직장동료→국민→나의 배우자→자녀의 배우자 순으로 나타났다. 사회복지전공 대학생들은 방문하는 것과 친구가 되는 것에는 허용정도가 높았고, 우리나라의 국민이 되는 것과 배우자가 되는 것에 대한 허용 정도가 낮았다. 둘째, 인구사회학적 변인에 따른 변수들의 차이를 분석한 결과, 성별, 성적, 연령에 따라 자기효능감, 사회복지옹호태도 및 다문화 수용성에 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 사회복지전공 대학생의 자기효능감, 사회복지옹호태도가 다문화 수용성에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 자기효능감은 다문화 수용성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 사회복지옹호태도는 영향력이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과에서 사회복지전공생들의 다문화 수용성 향상을 위해서 다문화관련 과목을 사회복지교육과정에 포함시키고, 자기효능감을 향상시켜 역량 있는 사회복지실천가로 성장할 수 있도록 교육과 훈련을 제공할 필요가 있음을 제언하였다.

        지역사회거주 알코올중독자의 사회적 지지가 정신건강에 미치는 영향 - 병식과 영성의 매개효과를 중심으로 -

        Objectives: This study is intended to reveal how social support affect A.A.members’ mental health. The objective is to ascertain whether spirituality and insight mediate by examining the effects of spirituality and insight, and investigates the path process among variables. Method: To achieve this objective, social supports were defined as independent variables, spirituality and insight as mediating variables, and mental health as the dependent variable. Subjects for this study consisted of 375 A.A.members. The results of the study are summarized as follows. Result: First, the study showed that the higher the A.A.member's social support the lesser the level of mental health problems. Employment was the most influential factor on mental health. Second, the higher the A.A.member's social support the higher the level of spirituality and insight. Third, social support influenced mental health thorough spirituality and insight. This indicated that social support had a direct influence on mental health, and spirituality and insight had a mediating effect on the relationship between social support and mental health. Conclusion: Study implications were discussed in terms of ways to improve psychiatric social worker’s programs with regard to rehabilitation and treatment methods for chronic alcoholic patients.

      • 주간재활프로그램이 만성정신장애인의 대인관계,자기주장,전반적기능에 미치는 효과

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of the day care rehabilitation programs for chronic mentally ill patients. Method: Data were collected from March, 4 to October, 9, 2002 by self report questionnaires. 12 chronic patients(experimental group) who participated day care programs were compared with 15 chronic patients(control group) who didn't participate. Result: The general characteristics and dependant variables related to outcome variables were homogeneous between two groups. The relationship, assertiveness and global functioning were increased significant statistically. Conclusion: Findings indicate that the day care rehabilitation programs caused positive changes in the relationship, assertiveness and global functioning of those chronic mentally ill patients.

        일반성인의 문제성도박에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구

        이 연구는 일반 성인의 문제성도박 정도와 이것에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 문제성도박이 개인의 심리적 요인, 가족적 요인, 환경적 요인뿐만 아니라, 다른 형태의 중독과도 밀접한 관련이 있다는 선행연구의 논의를 바탕으로, 대상자의 문제성 음주, 스트레스, 가족관계, 여가만족도 수준을 주요한 독립변수로 설정하였다. 연구대상은 전라남도의 4개시에 거주하는 일반 성인을 대상으로 하여, 429부의 자료를 최종분석에 활용하였다. 대상자의 일반인구학적 특성이 미치는 영향을 통제하고, 주요변수들의 영향력을 파악하기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 응답자의 32.2%는 문제성도박 집단이었고, 이들의 문제성도박 정도는 스트레스에 의해 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 일반성인의 문제성도박에 대한 효과적인 개입방향에 대해 제언하였다. The purpose of this study is to examine the level of problem gambling and the factors affecting problem gambling among adults in Junnam province Korea. According to previous studies, problem gambling is related to personal, familial, environmental factors and also other types of addictions. This study highlighted leisure, stress, family relationships and problem drinking as independent variables of problem gambling among adults. Subjects for this study consisted of 429 in Junnam province in Korea. The data was collected from the 1st. June to 30th of June 2011. It was analyzed by using the SPSS/Win 15.0 program. The results of this study are summarized as follows;Firstly, the study showed that stress was the highest variable affecting the problem gambling group. Secondly, according to the order the result showed that gender, problem drinking and family relationship were the highest variables affecting the non-problem gambling group. Notably, 32.3% of respondents were classified as problem gamblers(above 8 point in PGSI) and they were affected by stress. Study implications in terms of ways of developing an effective intervention program for problem gamblers were discussed.

        사회복지기관 실무자의 감정노동과 이직의도 간의 영향 관계에 관한 연구 - 전문직 자아개념과 사회적 지원의 매개효과를 중심으로 -

        Emotional labor has an increased turnover rate and a negative influence on efficient social welfare service in social welfare institution, a social problem approach is required rather than an individual approach. The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of emotional labor on social support and professional self-concept and verify its effect on turnover intention in social welfare institution workers. A questionnaire survey was conducted with social welfare institution workers and analysis was made using the structural equation model. The analysis results were summarized as follows. First, for turnover experience, 49.7% responded that they had the experience and 43.9% reported that they had turnover intention. It showed a very serious turnover rate in social welfare institution workers. Second, the relationship among emotional labor, professional self-concept, and turnover intention in social welfare institution workers was analyzed. While emotional labor did not have a direct effect on turnover intention, it had statistically significant negative(-) correlation with professional self-concept. Moreover social support and professional self-concept showed statistically significant positive(+) correlation, indicating a perfect mediating effect. Based on the findings, this study discussed the need of preventive․therapeutic management of emotional labor and the development of new programs to enhance professional self-concept in social welfare institution workers. 사회복지사들의 과중한 감정노동은 이직률을 높이고 효율적으로 실천되어야 할 사회복지서비스에 악영향을 미치고 있어서, 감정노동은 사회복지사 개인의 문제가 아닌 사회적 문제로서의 접근이 요구된다. 본 연구의 목적은 사회복지기관 실무자들이 경험하는 감정노동이 사회적 지원, 전문직 자아개념, 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 지를 파악하고 특히, 감정노동과 이직의도간의 관계에서사회적 지원과 전문직 자아개념이 매개적 역할을 하는지를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 사회복지기관 실무자 316명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 구조방정식모형(structural equation model) 을 통하여 분석했다. 사회복지기관 실무자들의 감정노동을 독립변수로, 사회적 지원과 전문직 자아개념을 매개변수로, 이직의도를 종속변수로 설정하고, 성별과 연령, 소득, 직위 등의 인구사회학적 특성들을 통제한 후의 사회적 지원과 전문직자아개념의 매개적 역할을 확인하였다. 분석결과를 요약하면 첫째, 이직경험이 있는 경우는 49.7%, 향후 이직할 의향이 있다가 43.9% 로 나타나, 사회복지기관 실무자들의 이직률이나 이직의도가 심각함을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 사회복지기관 실무자들의 감정노동은 전문직 자아개념과는 유의미한 부적(-) 상관이 나타났고, 사회적 지원과 전문직 자아개념도 유의미한 정적(+) 상관관계를 가진 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 사회복지사들의 감정노동이 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 관계 속에서 사회적 지원은 매개효과가 나타나지않았으나, 전문직 자아개념은 완전매개(perfect mediating) 역할을 하는 것을 파악하였다. 이러한연구결과를 바탕으로 사회복지사들의 감정노동에 대한 예방적․치료적 관리의 필요성과 전문직자아개념을 높일 수 있는 새로운 프로그램 개발에 대한 제안을 하였다.

        The purpose of supervision is to provide clients with the best service. In essence, supervision is a systematic exercise which is realized on the basis of communication and decision-making between a supervisor and a supervisee. The process of supervision is accomplished through good communication. Thus, in order for the supervision to function well in a social welfare agency, not only the contents of the supervision but the way of forming the supervision is seriously taken into account. Even though the supervision content is of good quality and the speciality of the supervisor ensured, the primary purpose and object of the supervision can hardly be achieved unless the communication between the supervisor and the supervisee is effective. For this reason, this study looks into the issue of the process of supervision deliverance and communication, and suggests an application of Shared Decision making, an educational theory, to the supervision for a better outcome. In the 1980s, a startling vision of education's future began appearing in reform proposals: school run by committees of teacher, without an administrator in sight. Since then, SDM has become a significant part of school-reform. SDM is the process of making educational decisions in a collaborative manner at the school level. The purpose of SDM is to improve school effectiveness and student learning by increasing staff commitment and ensuring that schools are more responsive to the needs of their students and community. SDM as a social work supervision model involves six main safeguards and benefits, which are as follows. ① Peer review of professional decisions ② It ensures that no client's liberty is affected(eg coming into care) without scrutiny of that decision. ③ It ensures clients are not left in unacceptable risk situations on the basis of a single individual's assessment or action. ④ It ensures that professionals are not put into a position where situations may exceed their knowledge, skills or experience or where they are having to manage very stressful and emotional situations. ⑤ Protection of the Agency: SDM has the responsibility to safeguard and ensures the importance of both supervisor and agencies role. ⑥ It encourages openness and collective responsibility.

      • 사회복지사업에서 정부와 민간비영리 부문과의 협조관계에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to review and suggest an ideal comprehensive welfare systems which is a partnership between the government and a nonprofit sector in social welfare. Furthermore, this study emphasis the theory that support the partnership between the government and nonprofit making sector in social welfare. This study argues that in the combined programme between the government and the nonprofit making sector should consider the following. Firstly, the government should take responsibility by giving financial support to the nonprofit making private sector. Secondly, in relation to role distribution, the government should consider equality between people. Thirdly, the nonprofit making sector should ensure the credibility, creativity, non beurocratic leadership, flexibility and reflect the opinion of the minority. Finally, social welfare institutions managed by the non profit making sector which is financed by the government should be mindful of rigidity and bruocraticy.

        사회복지사들의 근거중심실천 태도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to examine social worker‘s attitude and influencing factors towards Evidence Based Practice(EBP) in Gwangju and Junnam area in Korea. The data was collected from 332 social workers from Gwangju and Junnam area. Structured questionnaires were used to collect the data. The Evidence-Based Practice Attitude Scale(Arons, 2004), self efficacy scale, EBP basic skill(Kang, 2001), organizational culture survey instrument(Oh, 2003) were used for this study. The data was analyzed using SPSS 12.0. The results of this study was summarized as follows;First, in relation to attitudes to EBP, the result showed a significant difference (p<.01) between types of organizations but did not show a significant difference between general characteristics. Second, in relation to self efficacy, the result highlighted that there is a significant differences in general characteristics which include age(p<.05), level of education (p<.05, status(p<.01) and years of work experience(p<.01). It also showed a significant differences in organizational characteristics which include types of organization(p<.05) and research facilities(p<.01). Third, in relation to basic skills of EBP, the result showed a significant difference between the level of education(p<.001), types of organization(p<.05) and research facilities of the organization(p<.001). Finally, in relation to the organizational culture, the results showed a significant difference between sex(p<.05), status, types of organization and types of service program. In relation to social workers' attitudes towards EBP the results showed that there is a positive relationship between self efficacy and basic skills on EBP. The research also highlighted that there is a significant difference in organizational culture which includes relationship orientated culture, innovation orientated culture, task orientated culture and hierarchial orientated culture but there is no significant difference with other variables. This means that in order to achieve a positive attitude towards EBP there needs to be an increase in self efficacy, EBP skills training and changes in organizational culture. In relation to the corelation between self efficacy on EBP and other variables, the results showed that there is a positive relationship between basic skills on EBP, relationship orientated culture, innovation orientated culture, task orientated culture and hierarchial orientated culture. The outcome of the research indicated that the higher the position of social workers, self efficacy and basic skills in EBP is shown to be high. Based on the findings the implications for education program for social workers and organizational changes relating to EBP were discussed. 본 연구의 목적은 사회복지사의 근거중심실천에 대한 태도, EBP (Evidence Based Practice)기초능력, 자기효능감정도, 그리고 조직문화특성을 알아보고, 근거중심실천에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위함이다. 조사대상은 광주․전남의 사회복지사 332명이었다. 조사도구는 Aarons(2004)이 개발하고 정은희(2008)가 국내적용을 시도한 근거중심실천태도척도, 자기효능감척도, EBP기초능력척도, 조직문화척도를 사용하였다. 연구결과를 정리하면, 근거중심실천태도는 기관유형에 따라서 자기효능감은 연령, 학력, 경력, 직위, 기관유형, 기관 내 논문검색 여부에서 따라서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. EBP기초능력은 학력, 기관유형, 기관 내 논문검색 여부에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났으며, 조직문화는 성별, 직위, 기관유형, 기관주요사업에서 차이가 나타났다. 근거중심실천태도는 자기효능감, EBP기초능력, 조직의 관계문화, 혁신문화, 과업문화, 위계문화와 정적 상관을 보였고, 자기효능감은 EBP기초능력, 관계문화, 혁신문화, 위계문화와 정적 상관이 나타났다. 끝으로, 근거중심실천태도에 영향을 미치는 변인은 EBP기초능력, 자기효능감, 관계문화, 과업문화 순으로 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 근거중심실천에 대한 사회복지교육의 필요성과 정책적 대안모색을 위한 논의를 시도하였다.

      • 사회복지 수퍼비젼의 장애 요인 분석 : 기관·운영주체의 관점을 중심으로

        This study analyzes obstacles to supervision which is un being carried out in social welfare agencies in Korea. The study discusses solutions to resolve the issues identified. The present practices of supervision in the agencies is not systematic or practical. Rather, it seems that it is just a nominal supervision named for convenience of the administrative instruction of service. Many researchers suggest various reasons for this process; however, this research notes that a significant difference exists between the supervision of the agencies and that carried out by social workers. In many research papers, it is stated that social workers as a supervisee prefer educational supervision, whereas the administrative supervision is favored by the agencies and the supervisors. Almost all the supervisors are committed to follow the agencies policy on supervision. For this reason, it may be essential to remove the structural obstacles and give the supervisor more flexibility and choice. Agencies view social work supervision from two main perspectives. Firstly supervision is viewed as a purchase rather than an expenses This perspective considers supervision as a production cost rather than a revenue producer. As a production cost the agency needs to manage supervision so that it does not: a. increase the cost of producing outcomes. b. reduce the volume of outcomes produced, therin reducing the amount of revenue available to the agency. The second perspective that agencies' view social work supervision as a risk management system which protects the agency from being blamed for unethical and unprofessional practice by its social workers and social work supervisors. I, therefore, suggest four solutions to help resolve the issues. a. ensure professionalism of social workers. b. ensure that the agencies are fair and democratic. - Social worker and client group should be independent from management. c. improve the assessment methods of social welfare agencies. d. introduce a certificate for the supervisor and an independent professional outside supervisor.
