살모넬라의 Fimbrial Adhesion Group에 포함되는 Type 1 Fimbriae 유전자 분석

본 연구에서는 살모넬라 표준균주 4종과 분리균주 2종을 대상으로 type 1 fimbriae 유전자 fimC, fimD, fimI, fimZ를 각각 비교한 결과 많은 아미노산 변이가 관찰되었다. S. typhimurium ATCC 14028 균주에서 가장 많은 14개의 아미노산 변이가 관찰되었다. 반면 S. typhimurium ATCC 13311 균주에서는 가장 적은 2개의 아미노산 변이가 관찰되었다. 그중에서 유전자 fimC와 fimZ에서는 아미노산 변이가 관찰되지 않았고, fimD와 fimI 유전자에서 Leu527→Pro, Ile130→Val으로 각각 아미노산 변이가 관찰되었다. In this study, a number of amino acid mutations were observed in the type 1 fimbriae genes fimC, fimD, fimI, and fimZ in four Salmonella reference strains and two isolates. S. typhimurium ATCC 14028 strain showed most numerous 14 amino acid variations. On the other hand S. typhimurium ATCC 13311 strain, the least two amino acid variants were observed. Among them, amino acid mutations were not observed in the genes fimC and fimZ, and in the fimD and fimI genes, amino acid variations were observed as Leu527→Pro, Ile130→Val.

<P>Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) are spread among infected patients, with infection rates increasing at an alarming rate. Furthermore, increased resistance to antibiotics has resulted in serious challenges in the treatment of infectious diseases worldwide. Under the selection pressure of exposure to antibiotics, microorganisms evolve to survive against the new conditions imposed by therapy. Therefore, there exists a need to develop alternative natural or combination drug therapies. Curcumin (CCM), a natural polyphenolic flavonoid isolated from the rhizome of a plant, Curcuma longa Linne., has been found to possess many beneficial biological activities. The aim of this study was to investigate the synergistic effect of curcumin and antibiotics as well as to determine the antibacterial activity of CCM against specific MRSA strains. The antibacterial activity of CCM was assessed by the broth microdilution method (by calculating the minimal inhibitory concentration [MIC]), checkerboard dilution test, and time-kill assay. Antimicrobial activity of CCM was observed against all tested strains. The MICs of CCM against 10 strains of S. aureus ranged from 125 to 250 mu g/ml. In the checkerboard test, CCM markedly reduced the MICs of the antibiotics oxacillin (OXI), ampicillin (AMP), ciprofloxacin (CIP), and norfloxacin (NOR) used against MRSA. The time-kill curves showed that a combined CCM and OXI treatment reduced the bacterial counts below the lowest detectable limit after 24 h. This study suggested that CCM reduced the MICs of several antibiotics tested, notably of OXI, AMP, CIP, and NOR, and that CCM in combination with antibiotics could lead to the development of new combination of antibiotics against MRSA infection. This experiment was carried out to improve in vitro development of rabbit one-cell embryos to the blastocyst stage. One-cell rabbit embryos were collected at 19∼20hr after superovulation induction and incubated at 39℃ in 5% CO_(2) for 72hr. In order to find optimum conditions in medium that affects the rabbit embryo's development in vitro, RDH medium which mixed with RPMI1640, DMEM and Ham's F10 was compared with the previously reported mediums (Ham's F10 and RD) for embryo development and cell numbers. Three additives (BSA, taurine and glucose) were tested for the development of rabbit one-cell embryos in vitro. When the embryos were cultured in RDH medium, their development was markedly promoted as compared with Ham's F-10 or RD alone. Glucose exhibited no significant effects on embryo development and cell numbers. BSA appeared to promote transition from morula to blastocyst stage and taurine increased cell numbers of cultured embryos markedly regardless of mediums. BSA and taurine together in RDH medium showed the additive effects on embryo development and cell number.

In this paper, we process using RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) that is the oncoming generation of high technology. real - time monitoring from a pollution source of Infectious Wastes to treatment of Infectious Wastes. The reason is solution the reinfection of Infectious Wastes illegal measure. Through this paper propose study, we offer a plan to slove inefficient business environment which is appeared management like computerization input to deal with paper working and wed application by management officer.
그라비아 인쇄공장의 작업환경실태 및 유기용제 폭로에 의한 건강장해

본 연구는 그라비아 인쇄공장에 있어 근로자들의 건강증진에 대한 기여와 작업환경 개선 등 유기용제 관리 대책을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 경인지역의 그라비아 인쇄 산업장 중 18개소를 대상으로 1991년 3월 부터 10월까지 약 8개월간 작업환경 실태와 근로자들의 자각 증상에 대하여 조사하였다. In order to prepare the fundamental data for the improvement of working environments and to contribute the health improvement of worker in photogravure industries, the author measured the status of work environment and asked subjective symptoms of workers of 18 photogravure industries in Gyeong In area from March to september in 1991. The results were as fellows. 1.The mean concentration of toluene, ehtyl acetate, methyl ethyl ketone and isopropyl alcohol in breathing zone air was 75.92±64.73ppm, 33.14±18.55ppm, 96.80±137.80ppm and 52.00±50.12ppm respectively. 2.The concentration of toluene in breathing zone was significantly increased as that of hippuric acid in urine was increased (P<0.01) but working duration was not statistically different from urinary hippuric acid. (P >0.1) 3.The concentrations of toluene and hippuric acid were higher in work places with local ventilation system than in workplaces without such a system. (P<0.01) 4.The complained rates of subjective symptoms were 72% in headache, 58% in eye problem, 54% in dizziness, 48% in abnormal sensation of skin, 44% in breathing problem and 36% in throat problem. They were not statistically different from urinary hippuric acid.

The merits of linear motor are high speed, high acceleration and good positioning accurcy. In addition, Linear motor for high quality machine tool call for high thrust, high stiffness. In this paper, thrust ripple, detent force and thermal behavior are considered for the development of high performance linear motor whose thrust is up to 4,000N. This paper presents a comprehensive study for an iron core type linear motor characteristics that include the influence of PM position on thrust, thrust ripple by detent force and motor dynamics as well.
