실란 커플링제의 가수분해를 통한 실란올의 형성과 올리고머 구조형성을 하는 중합반응은 2-FCCL의 표면처리 과정에서 계면 사이의 접착력에 영향을 준다. 본 연구에서는 실란 커플링제의 가수분해반응 속도를 비교하고, 표면처리 후 동박의 표면 에너지로 인한 접착특성의 변화를 확인하였다. 특히 이성분계 실란 커플링제는 가수분해 반응속도 조절이 가능하며, 동박과 폴리이미드 사이에서 접착 프로모터로서 확실한 접착력 향상을 보였다. 압연동박 표면에 처리한 이성분계 실란 커플링제의 함량 변화에 따라 접착력의 향상 정도가 다르게 나타났으며 반응속도 조절과 표면 에너지 평가를 통한 접착 특성을 분석하여 접착력을 최대화시켰다. The parameters of silanol formation reaction of organosilane including solvent type, solution concentration, pH and hydrolysis time influence the adhesion property of 2 layer flexible copper clad laminate(FCCL). Especially, the hydrolysis reaction time of silane coupling agent affects the formation of the silanol groups and their self-condensation to generate oilgomeric structure to enhance the surface treatment as an adhesive promoter. In our study, we prepared the binary silane coupling agents to control hydrolysis reaction rate and surface energy after treatment of silane coupling agents for increasing the adhesive property between a copper layer and a polyimide layer. The surface morphology of rolled copper foil, as a function of the contents of the coated binary silane coupling agent, was fully characterized. As fabricated 2-layer FCCL, we observed that adhesive properties were changed by hydrolysis rate and surface energy.

Background and Purpose Nelonemdaz (Neu2000) has both selective antagonism against 2B subunit of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor and antioxidant activity. This drug provides sufficient evidence of neuroprotection in acute cerebral ischemia/reperfusion models. This phase III trial aims to determine this effect in patients. Design The Rescue on Reperfusion Damage in Cerebral Infarction by Nelonemdaz is a multicenter, double-blinded clinical trial. A total of 496 patients will be randomly assigned into the nelonemdaz (a total of 5,250 mg divided by 10 times for 5 days) and placebo groups. Patients will be included if they have an acute ischemic stroke (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale score ≥8) caused by intracranial large vessel occlusion in the anterior circulation (Alberta Stroke Program Early CT Score ≥4), and if they are expected to undergo endovascular thrombectomy within 12 hours after stroke onset. Endpoints The primary endpoint is a favorable shift in the modified Rankin Scale (mRS) score at 90 days after the first dose of drug. The data will be analyzed by the Cochran–Mantel–Haenszel shift test. The secondary endpoints include functional independence (mRS 0–2) at 35 and 90 days, the favorable shift of mRS at 35 days, the proportion of mRS 0 at 35 and 90 days, and the occurrence rates of symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage within 7 days. Conclusion This trial will clarify the efficacy and safety of nelonemdaz in patients with acute ischemic stroke and endovascular thrombectomy. This study has been registered at ClinicalTrials. gov (NCT05041010).

Inflammatory myopathy is characterized by symmetrical proximal muscle weakness, elevated muscle enzyme levels and favorable response to glucocorticoids therapy. Although periorbital edema is a common manifestation of inflammatory myopathy, generalized subcutaneous edema is very rare. We report here a case of a 47-year-old female patient with acute polymyositis/systemic lupus erythematosus overlap syndrome with generalized subcutaneous edema and interstitial lung disease. We aggressively treated the disease with high-dose glucocorticoids, intravenous immunoglobulin, and immunosuppressive agents.

Background: There is controversy over a need for patch test to rule out possible metal allergy-related complications prior to implantation of devices made of nickel alloy. Objectives: To evaluate the prevalence and characteristics of potential adverse events including nickel toxicity in patients who underwent atrial septal defect (ASD) closure with nickel-titanium alloy-based device in a single institution. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of patients who underwent ASD closure with nitinol device and evaluated adverse events during a follow-up period. Results: Among 38 patients, 5 patients had symptomatic nickel allergy proven by patch test. Four nickel-allergic patients had post-closure complications, including chest discomfort and migraine headache beginning within 1 month. Ten of 33 non-nickel-allergic patients had adverse symptoms, including chest tightness, dyspnea, and migraine. All adverse events occurred within 1 month post-procedure, and lasted for less than 1 year except for 1 nickel-allergic patient. A longer follow-up (24.1±3.2 months) indicated no additional development of symptoms. Conclusion: In this study, positive reactions to nickel on patch test were not associated with adverse early or late outcomes. Patch test might be a valuable ancillary tool to detect nickel allergy, but the usefulness to predict long-term result of occlusion is indecisive and not obligatory for patients prior to ASD occlusion with nickel-alloy based devices.

To provide a basis for studying the pharmacological actions of tetracaine?HCl, we analyzed the membrane activities of this local anesthetic. The n-(9-anthroyloxy) stearic and palmitic acid (n-AS) probes (n = 2, 6, 9, 12 and 16) have been used previously to examine fluorescence polarization gradients. These probes can report the environment at a graded series of depths from the surface to the center of the membrane bilayer structure. In a dosedependent manner, tetracaine?HCl decreased the anisotropies of 6-AS, 9-AS, 12-AS and 16-AP in the hydrocarbon interior of synaptosomal plasma membrane vesicles isolated from bovine cerebral cortex (SPMV), and liposomes derived from total lipids (SPMVTL) and phospholipids (SPMVPL) extracted from the SPMV. However, this compound increased the anisotropy of 2-AS at the membrane interface. The magnitude of the membrane rotational mobility reflects the carbon atom numbers of the phospholipids comprising SPMV, SPMVTL and SPMVPL and was in the order of the 16, 12, 9, 6, and 2 positions of the aliphatic chains. The sensitivity of the effects of tetracaine?HCl on the rotational mobility of the hydrocarbon interior or surface region was dependent on the carbon atom numbers in the descending order 16-AP, 12-AS, 9-AS, 6-AS and 2-AS and on whether neuronal or model membranes were involved in the descending order SPMV, SPMVPL and SPMVTL.

Anemia is a common cause of referrals to gastroenterologists. Only a small number of anemia cases result from vascular abnormalities. Visceral artery aneurysms and pseudoaneurysms are rare forms of vascular disease that have significant potential for rupture, resulting in potentially life-threatening hemorrhaging. We present the case of a 70-year-old female patient with a pseudoaneurysm of the superior mesenteric artery complicated with rupture, who had no abdominal pain and only anemia. 본 연구에서는 남극 장보고기지 건설 시 발생하는 온실가스 배출량을 자재생산단계와 시공단계로 구분하여 산정하였다. 또한, 시공단계의 배출원은 각각 해양수송과 내륙수송, 건설장비 사용, 건설캠프 운영으로 분류하여 온실가스 배출량을 구체적으로 산정하였다. 전과정평가 개념을 도입해 남극 장보고기지 건설에 투입되는 자재생산을 통해 배출되는 온실가스 배출량은 기지 건설에 따른 전체 온실가스 배출량의 23.8%에 해당하는 8,933 ton (as CO₂eq)으로 산정되었으며, 향후 남극 신규기지의 건설 시 자재생산을 통한 온실가스 배출이 반드시 고려해야 할 대상인 것으로 판단되었다. 남극 장보고기지 시공단계(총 2단계)에서의 온실가스 배출량은 1단계에 비해서 2단계에 비교적 많이 배출되었으며, 이는 2단계 때 수송화물선이 부산까지 회항하여 정박하므로 연료사용량이 증가하기 때문인 것으로 사료된다. 또한, 시공단계의 온실가스 배출원 가운데 해양수송이 내륙수송, 건설장비 사용 및 건설캠프 운영에 비해 다량의 온실가스를 배출하는 것으로 판명되었다. 남극 장보고기지 건설에 따른 자재생산단계와 시공단계를 통합한 전체 온실가스 배출량은 총 34,486 ton (as CO₂eq)으로 기존 남극기지 포괄적 환경영향평가(CEE)상에 제시된 온실가스 총배출량과 비교 시 다량의 온실가스가 배출되는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 기존 CEE상에 제시된 온실가스 배출량 산정 시 건설에 투입되는 자재생산을 통해 발생하는 온실가스 배출량 산정이 고려되지 않고, 단순히 자재수송 및 시공단계만을 고려하여 온실가스 배출량을 개략적으로 산정하였기 때문으로 판단된다. In this study, greenhouse gas emissions occurring from the construction of Jangbogo Antarctic research station were estimated in terms of material production stages and building stages, respectively. In detail, greenhouse gas emissions during the building stages were estimated in terms of marine transportation, inland transportation, construction equipment utilization, and construction camp operation, respectively. As a result, greenhouse gas emissions from material production stages with life cycle assessment were 8,933 ton (as CO₂eq), equivalent to the 23.8% of total greenhouse gas emissions from the construction of Jangbogo Antarctic research station, and these results indicate that greenhouse gas emissions occurring from material production stages should not be ignored. During the building stages, greenhouse gas emissions occurring from first year were greater than those from second year due to the increase in fuel consumption of freighter during second year. Additionally, marine transportation compared to inland transportation, construction equipment utilization, and construction camp operation was found to be the greater contributor for greenhouse gas emissions during the building stages. The total greenhouse gas emissions estimated from both material production stages and building stages was 34,486 ton (as CO₂eq), and greater than those estimated from comprehensive environmental evaluation (CEE) of existing other research stations, This difference is mainly attributed from approximate estimation of greenhouse gas emissions of existing other research stations without considering material production stages.

The scale correction was analyzed for model to prototype with roughness effects in the pipe. The flow law of log and law of the wall were used by theoretical analysis to calculate the scale correction with surface roughness effects. For the surface roughness in the pipe flow for marine pipe fittings in boiler, heat exchange and the velocity field in the turbulent boundary layer on the wall is determined by scale for law of log and law of the wall. In this study, the calculation for the variation of diameter for roughness effects with variation velocity was investigated to design the facility of the ship. It was shown that the surface roughness effects in scale effects for model to prototype relation could be applied depending on scale ratio in model to prototype.
