While third places have often been conceived as key drivers for technological innovation, further empirical modelling is necessary to verify such relationship. Drawing upon a database on geocoded patents and third places in Nanjing, China, this paper investigates their relationship at a grid cell level. The results suggest that both quantity and diversity of third places could be associated with the process of technological innovation. Furthermore, the study finds an inverted U-curve relationship between the quantity of third places and technological innovation, indicating that too many third places may not be linked with higher technological innovation capacity. It also suggests that the number of business incubators may weaken the relationship between third places and technological innovation.

The main purpose of this research is to expand the design process of modern architecture in Yanbian, China. The study will focus on the change of the road network and Public building’s layout. As a minority autonomous prefectures, Yanbian is located in northeastern China and State capital is Yanji City. By using comparative research methods, This paper discovers formative elements from historic building and street layout. Including tribes, the increase in building types, a pattern of geometrically applied. It can be noted that the building of the city combines a different period of time’s symbol and traditional custom with modernity function. and start considering the local natural environment and climatic conditions. This Study is expected to be the basis of keeping context in the regional area. The research is to prove the design strategy of space element applied traditional formation. and this paper can lead to the guidance of regional architecture innovation.

The main purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship of traditional formative elements and Wang's architecture space. The study will focus on the organization of the Chinese painting&garden's element and space level. By using comparative tables. The analysis can be applied as a design method of using traditional space elements-“moutain&river”. Through analyzing Wang's space, this paper will make clear the connection between his architecture and the traditional culture. According to Chinese gardens such as『Zhuozhengyuan』, It shows the communication with nature& traditional culture. Traditional East-Asian's private garden had particular features. There were a garden to plant and appreciate flowering plants, a building to keep antiques, and a courtyard to hold activities. when the traditional elements reformed into 3-dimensional space, It can be impacted toward the cultural exchange. This Study is expected to be the basis of the advanced study about design process of rebuilding area. The analysis of space is to prove the design method of applying the formative elements-“moutain&river” in modern projects.
Improved Multi-objective Genetic Algorithm Based on Parallel Hybrid Evolutionary Theory

Based on the analysis on the basic principles and characteristics of the existing multi-objective genetic algorithm (MOGA), an improved multi-objective GA with elites maintain is put forward based on non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA). NSGA-II algorithm theory and parallel hybrid evolutionary theory is described in detail. The design principle, process and detailed implementations of the improved MOGA are given. IMNSGA-II algorithm and NSGA-II algorithm are applied to test the performance of the two algorithms for different test function, experiments of example are preformed. Experimental results show that the improved MOGA achieved the optimal between the convergence and diversity.

A novel self-centering frame with Y-eccentrically braced structure (SC-YEBFs) has been proposed in this paper to solve the problem that the storey drift of structure may exceed the specified limit in standards when self-centering beam-column joints are applied in high-rise and larger spans buildings, and the SC-YEBFs not only has the self-centering performance of self-centering frame system, but also has the high lateral stiffness and energy dissipating capacity of Y-Eccentrically braced frame. To study the lateral load behavior and influencing factors of SC-YEBFs, cyclic loading tests of two scaled specimens of SC-YEBFs substructure (SCS) were conducted, and seven finite element models corrected by the experiment were established to perform parametric analysis. The experiment and finite element analysis results indicated that the shear link has greatly increased the lateral stiffness and energy dissipating capacity of the self-centering structure, at the same time, it has maintained a good self-centering performance and replace ability. With an increase in the cross-sectional area and initial prestress of post-tensioned steel strands, the lateral load capacity and self-centering performance can be improved. The self-centering performance can be effectively improved by reducing the friction coefficient at the rotation connections. SC-YEBFs further extending the application field of self-centering structural systems, and making it possible to be applied to high-rise and larger spans structures.

<P>In the present investigation, we successfully employed a cell-free extract of Esteya vermicola CNU 120806 to convert ginsenoside Rg3 to Rh2. Three important factors including pH, temperature and substrate concentration were optimized for the preparation of Rh(2). The optimal condition was obtained as follows: 50C, pH 5.0 and substrate concentration of 3 mg ml(-1). The yield of conversion was up to 90.7%. In order to identify the specificity of the β-glucosidase activity of Esteya vermicola CNU 120806, ginsenoside Re (protopanaxatriol saponins) was treated under the same reaction system. Interestingly, no new metabolite was generated, which elucidated that the enzymatic process only occurred by hydrolysis of the terminal glucopyranosyl moieties at the C-3 carbon of ginsenoside Rg(3). The crude enzyme extract can be used for commercial ginsenoside Rh(2) preparation.</P>
Neutronic design and evaluation of the solid microencapsulated fuel in LWR

Solid Microencapsulated Fuel (SMF) is a type of solid fuel rod design that disperses TRISO coated fuel particles directly into a kind of matrix. SMF is expected to provide improved performance because of the elimination of cladding tube and associated failure mechanisms. This study focused on the neutronics and some of the fuel cycle characteristics of SMF by using OpenMC. Two kinds of SMFs have been designed and evaluated - fuel particles dispersed into a silicon carbide matrix and fuel particles dispersed into a zirconium matrix. A 7x7 fuel assembly with increased rod diameter transformed from the standard NHR200-II 9x9 array was also introduced to increase the heavy metal inventory. A preliminary study of two kinds of burnable poisons (Erbia & Gadolinia) in two forms (BISO and QUADRISO particles) was also included. This study found that SMF requires about 12% enriched UN TRISO particles to match the cycle length of standard fuel when loaded in NHR200-II, which is about 7% for SMF with increased rod diameter. Feedback coefficients are less negative through the life of SMF than the reference. And it is estimated that the average center temperature of fuel kernel at fuel rod centerline is about 60 K below that of reference in this paper
Annealing Effects on CuInS2 Thin Films Grown on Glass Substrates by Using Pulsed Laser Deposition

CuInS2 thin films have been deposited on glass substrates at low temperature by using a self-madeceramic target and the pulsed laser deposition method. Polycrystalline and near-stoichiometricCuInS2 films with a band gap energy of 1.45 eV are obtained by post-annealing/sulfurization ata temperature of 500 C. X-ray diffraction reveals a highly (112) preferential orientation of theCuInS2 thin films while the Raman spectrum indicates the coexistence of a CuInS2 chalcopyritephase and CuAu orderings. A polymorphic transformation of metastable CuAu ordering into theequilibrium chalcopyrite structure takes place at a post-annealing temperature of 500 C with theCuxS phase being segregated at the surface. Further, the morphologies and the chemical statesof the films before and after annealing are characterized by atomic force microscopy and X-rayphotoelectron spectroscopy, respectively.
Application of Android Mobile Platform in Remote Medical Monitoring System

Due to the actual demand of remote medical monitoring system, the overall framework of remote medical monitoring system which based on the Internet of things technology and cloud computing technology is designed. Put forward the application solutions of Android mobile terminal equipment in this system, and discusses the development methods of different types of the Android mobile terminal. First, the overall framework of remote medical monitoring system is introduced. Second, the development of data communication method of Android Bluetooth BLE and HTTP is discussed in detail, which is based on the Android framework. The Internet of Things and cloud computing technologies together to build a remote medical monitoring system. Android mobile terminal development on the medical applications of data processing centers and medical data display applications. Finally, the experimental results show that the system not only runs and transfers data stabilize, but also strong real-time, effective and feasible.
