        In this study, Mechanical property, thermal property, watervapor, and oxygen permeability of biodegradable Soy protein/Pectin-montmorillonite nanocomposite, prepared with Na^(+)-MMT, have been studied. X-ray diffraction and TEM experiments an polymer/silicate composite samples demonstrated that the intercalation of polymer chains leads to increase in the spacing between silicate layers. In addition, it were found that the intercalated Soy protein/Pectin/montmorillonite nanocomposite were prepared. It was found that the addition of only a small of clay was enough to improve the thermal stability and mechanical property of Soy protein/Pectin/montmorillonite nanocomposite. watervapor of Soy protein/Pectin/montmorillonite nanocomposite was generally lower than that of Soy protein/Pectin. oxygen permeability of Soy protein/Pectin/montmorillonite nanocomposite was generally lower than that of Soy protein/Pectin.

      • BCR-ABL 융합유전자를 동반한 급성 골수구성 백혈병 1예

        BCR-ABL 융합 유전자를 동반한 급성골수구성백혈병은 그 빈도가 매우 낮고, 만성골수구성백혈병의 급성악화기와 임상적으로 유사한 특징을 가진다. 항암화학요법으로 관해유도가 되기 어렵거나, 관해유도 후 재발의 빈도가 높은 특징을 가지고 있어 예후가 나쁘다고 알려져있다. 저자들은 BCR-ABL 융합 유전자를 동반한 급성골 수구성백혈병1례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고 하는 바이다. BCR-ABL fusion gene is the hallmark of chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML), but it has been rarely reported in acute myeloid leukemia (AML). AML with BCR-ABL fusion gene has different features from blast crisis of CML. We experienced a rare case of AML with BCR-ABL fusion gene. Here we report this case with a brief review of literatures.

      • 폐허탈 및 농흉을 유발한 기관지 지방종 1예

        저자들은 객혈을 주소로 내원한 75세 남자 환자에서 기관지내시경 육안 소견상 양성 종양이 의심 되었으나 조직 검사상 지방종을 확진하지 못하였고 악성종양을 배제할 수 없는 상황에서 종괴에 의한 왼쪽 폐의 허탈과 농흉 때문에 수술적 치료를 시행 하였으며, 수술 결과 기관지 지방종에 의한 폐허탈, 농흉 및 기관지 확장증, 이로 인한 객혈이 발생한 예가 있어 보고하는 바이다. Lipoma is a common neoplasm on soft tissues. However, bronchial lipoma is rare benign tumor. Patients with bronchial lipoma might have a malignant potential, and there were case reports of lung cancer accompanied with lipoma. Therefore, it should initially be treated by fibrotic bronchoscopy or surgery. We encountered a 75 year-old male patients with bronchial lipoma, causing hemoptysis.

      • 불안정판 위에서 후방 유선형 신발이 척추기립근 및 하지 근 활성도에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 일반 신발과 후방 유선형 신발을 착용한 후 불안정판 위에서 척추세움근, 안쪽넓은근, 앞정강근, 장딴지근, 넙다리두갈래근의 근 활성도를 비교 하기 위한 것으로 성인 남녀 28명이 참가하였으며 대상자들은 일반 신발과 후방 유선형 신발을 신고 8단계의 BSS 기기 위에 15초 동안 서서 근활성도를 측정하였다. 이 연구의 결과를 종합해보면 후방 유선형 신발을 착용한 경우 일반 신발을 착용한 경우에 비해서 앞정강근과 안쪽 넓은근에서 상대적으로 더 높은 활성도를 보여주었다. 이러한 결과는 건강한 성인에서 후방 유선형 신발을 신었을 때 불안정한 면 위에서 균형을 유지하기 위해 발목의 자세 조절전략만으로도 균형을 유지하기에 충분한 것으로 생각되어진다. The purpose of this study was to compare muscle activation of erector spine and lower extremity such as tibialis anterior, gastrocnemius, medial hamstring and vastus medialis after wearing a pair of normal shoes and unstable shoes on the rocking surface. 28 university students who did not have any lower musculoskeletal and neurological disorders in the past were participated in this study. Each subject was standing for 15 seconds on the biodex stability system(BSS) of level 8 while wearing normal shoes and unstable shoes. we used Electromyography to measure muscle activation of elector spine and lower extremity and expressed muscle activation as a percentage of maximal voluntary isometric contraction (%MVIC). Paired t-test was used to compare the muscle activation of erector spine and lower extremity between normal shoes and unstable shoes. The result of this study was as follows. Tibialis anterior and vastus medialis showed relatively higher average electromyogram rates more than normal shoes(p<.05).

        This work researched the treatment characterization of paper mill waste water for Biological Aerated Filter (BAF)system. BAF process is ideal for reclamation and reuse of wastewater. It features excellent removal of organic matter and SS, Especially. it is easy maintain and achieves energe-saving and space-conservation when compared to conventionnal activated sludge method. This study resulted that upflow BAF system showed superior treatment efficiency to downflow one. The removal efficiencies of BOD, COD, SS were 85%, 80, 90%, respectively.

It is a graphical and mathematical modeling and promising tool for describing and studying systems that are characterized as being concurrent, asychronous, dynamic, distributed and parrallel. The objective of this study is to described analytical techniques of FMS and presented for FMS model by using Petri Net.

      • ATM 교환망에서 ADSL 기반 가입자 선로의 성능분석

        In this paper, ADSL function of ATM switching system has been examined and ADSL service test has been performed in real enviroment. The customer service loop range and its performance evaluation of 10^(-7) cell losses specification has also been tested in order to provide general customers with ADSL service using pair line that can be operated via already established voice telephone subscriber line on ATM. In addition, it can be thought that, with careful consideration, there is no trouble to apply ADSL technique nationally. The test results show that very high speed information telecommunication network of over 2Mbps can be worked with fair line condition of 3.7km, representative line noise condition of 3.4km, and 3.35km in the worst case(each cases the diameter of line is 0.4mm). Therefore ADSL technique with ATM can be applied to national subscriber line, and further more this technique will be appropriate service medium that can reduce the enormous investment and the construction term of national very high speed information telecommunication network.

        사각형 단면을 갖는 수직부재와 접합되는 슬래브의 탄성 유효보폭

        An effective beam width model, in which the actual slab is replaced with a beam element, is commonly used in design to model the lateral load response of fiat plate structures In tins model, the beam element has a thickness equal to that of the slab, and an effective beam width equal to some fraction of the slab transverse width Many techniques to obtain the effective beam width based on elasticity have been proposed However, the application of these methods are limited to the slab connected to the columns A parametric study on slab-vertical member connected is performed using a finite element technique In the study, a vertical member's rectangularity, whose effects have been commonly Ignored in previous studies, is mainly considered. Based on the numerical results, the methods for calculating the elastic effective beam width of the slab connected to vertical members, including structural walls, with various rectangular cross-section are developed The proposed methods can more precisely predict the lateral stiffness of flat plate structure" than previous analysis methods

        전기화학적 방법을 이용한 수소제거에 관한 연구

        Hydrogen embrittlement (HE) mitigation on the low alloy steel was studied using electrochemical technique. This method can be applied to reduce HE susceptibility. Hydrogen induced cracking (HIC) characteristics of the low alloy steel was investigated in aerated and deaerated borate buffer solution (0.3M H₃BO₃ + 0.074M N₂B_(4)O_(7), pH 8.4). The electrochemical properties of the low alloy steel showed passive behavior in this environment. By performing galvanostatic and potentiostatic test, hydrogen was charged and discharged to specimens respectively. By applying the potential of +630 mV_(SCE), the accumulated hydrogen was eliminated electrochemically. A specimen discharged for 24h indicated the efficiency of the hydrogen discharge up to 99.9%. Slow strain rate tests (SSRT) results showed that a specimen with higher hydrogen concentration revealed inferior mechanical properties such as shorter time to fracture, lower elongation, ultimate tensile strength and yield strength values. Furthermore, SEM fractographs revealed that the higher the hydrogen concentration is, the more probable the features of brittle fracture are. (Received July 26, 2004)
