To avoid the rapid degradation of magnesium alloy AZ31B after implantation in the body, the addition of a zinc oxide (ZnO) film was examined. A rough surface was fabricated by femtosecond laser on AZ31B at frequencies of 100, 200, 300, 500, and 800 kHz, before adding a ZnO film by wet metallurgy. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) indicated that 500 kHz femtosecond laser frequency produced a coral-like surface morphology on AZ31B and the ZnO film had a needle-like structure. X-ray diffraction (XRD) revealed that the film mainly consisted of Zn and ZnO. Potentiodynamic polarization curves revealed that the ZnO film exhibited a better corrosion resistance than bare AZ31B. It also possessed superior cell proliferation ability and higher suppression of a representative device-related infection of Escherichia coli strain than bare AZ31B. This study provides a novel film strategy for manufacturing biodegradable magnesium alloys with good corrosion resistance, biocompatibility, and antibacterial properties.

Two-dimensional (2D) organic materials hold great promise for use in a multitude of applications due to their outstanding properties. Herein, 2D sheets of poly(3,4- ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(4-styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) are prepared from a commercially available PEDOT:PSS suspension using ice as a template. The 2D PEDOT:PSS sheets grow in the boundaries of ice crystals as the polymers are squeezed out of the suspension when the water solidifies. The mechanical robustness of the sheets can be enhanced by incorporating WO₃ nanowires, and the PSS component can be conveniently removed with a concentrated solution of H₂SO₄ to afford stable suspensions of PEDOT or WO₃@PEDOT sheets, either of which can be converted into flexible films with tunable thicknesses via filtration. Supercapacitors prepared from the WO₃@PEDOT films exhibit outstanding energy-storage characteristics. The methodology described establishes an efficient and readily scalable approach for accessing 2D organic sheets.
Hydrophobicity test of silicone rubber based on thermogravimetric analysis
Jie Liu,Boyan Jia,Jianghai Geng 대한전기학회 2019 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.14 No.5
To study the hydrophobicity and the transfer of hydrophobicity of silicone rubber, experiments were conducted under three conditions (low-temperature ashing, room-temperature ashing, and low-temperature salting) on new silicone rubber products. Then the surface hydrophobicity of the material after cleaning the contaminants was measured using the classification of water spray, and the change laws of low molecular-weight substances in the core layer and the surface of silicone rubber samples were studied using the thermogravimetric analysis. The results showed that the low molecular-weight substances, namely the hydrophobic substances, were a typical type of siloxane. After pollutants accumulated on the surface of the silicone rubber, the surface hydrophobicity of the material declined continuously, and the contents of hydrophobic substances in the surface and the core layers reduced with fluctuations at a rate being directly proportional to the ambient temperature. The content and the decrease rate of hydrophobic substances in the surface were slightly higher than those in the core layer. The ashes in the contaminants propelled the transfer of the hydrophobic substances while salts inhibited the transfer. However, the presence of salts accelerated the hydrolysis of silicone rubber molecules in the material surface. The experimental results provide reference for the daily maintenance of composite insulators of electric power enterprises.

The purpose of this study was to develop paclitaxel-loaded poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) nanoparticles coated with cationic SM5-1 single-chain antibody (scFv) containing a polylysine (SMFv-polylys). SM5-1 scFv (SMFv) is derived from SM5-1 monoclonal antibody, which binds to a 230 kDa membrane protein specifically expressed on melanoma, hepatocellular carcinoma and breast cancer cells. SMFv-polylys was expressed in Escherichia coli and purified by cation-exchange chromatography. Purified SMFv-polylys was fixed to paclitaxel-loaded PLGA nanoparticles to form paclitaxel-loaded PLGA nanoparticles coated with SMFv-polylys (Ptx-NP-S). Ptx-NP-S was shown to retain the specific antigen-binding affinity of SMFv-polylys to SM5-1 binding protein-positive Ch-hep-3 cells. Finally, the cytotoxicity of Ptx-NP-S was evaluated by a non-radioactive cell proliferation assay. It was demonstrated that Ptx-NP-S had significantly enhanced in vitro cytotoxicity against Ch-hep-3 cells as compared with non-targeted paclitaxel-loaded PLGA nanoparticles. In conclusion, our results suggest that cationic SMFv-polylys has been successfully generated and may be used as targeted ligand for preparing cancer-targeted nanoparticles.
Research on Wormhole Attack Detection Algorithm in Space Information Networks
Yu Geng,Zhang jie,Zhang Yongfang,Ye ning,Ren Kaiya 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.10 No.5
Wormhole attack is a coordinated attack that launched by two or more malicious node. With a high quality private link malicious node, attracted traffic, attacked routing protocol, destroyed network topology, has a great threat to space information network. We propose a wormhole attack detection algorithm based on abnormal topology and time delay in space information network and the algorithm is mainly composed of two phases: finding abnormal topology and getting the malicious node. According to the number of nodes which are mutually non-one-hop neighbors in the normal network and the abnormal topology in backbone get the suspicious neighbors. To confirm the fake link, uses the round trip time to detect suspicious neighbors. Sends warning messages to isolate false neighbors or malicious nodes to ensure the security of the network. Using the network simulation software NS2 analyses the performance of the detection algorithm. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can detect wormhole also has high detection rate and a low false positive rate.
Nonsingular Finite-time Second Order Sliding Mode Attitude Control for Reentry Vehicle
Yongzhi Sheng,Jie Geng,Xiangdong Liu,Liang Wang 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2015 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.13 No.4
This paper presents nonlinear robust flight control strategies for the reentry vehicle which is nonlinear, coupling, and includes parameter uncertainties and external disturbances. Firstly, a finitetime second order sliding mode attitude control strategy is pointed out with the introduction of a nonsingular finite-time sliding mode manifold. By the proposed controller, the attitude tracking errors are mathematically proved to converge to zero within finite time and the chattering of sliding mode controller is alleviated without any deterioration of robustness and accuracy. For further alleviation of chattering, a smooth second order sliding mode attitude control strategy is then designed based on an improved nonsingular finite-time sliding mode manifold. Finally, the proposed strategies are applied to the attitude control of X-33 RLV in the reentry phase to verify the validity and robustness of the proposed strategies.

Objective: To investigate the expression level of TUG1 and one of its transcript variants (n377360) in osteosarcoma cells and assess the role of TUG1 in proliferation and apoptosis in the U2OS cell line. Methods: TUG1 and n377360 expression levels in patients with osteosarcomas and the U2OS human osteosarcoma cell line were evaluated using real-time quantitative PCR. U2OS cells were transected with TUG1 and n377360 siRNA or non-targeting siRNA. MTS was performed to assess the cell proliferation and flow cytometry was applied to analyze apoptosis. Results: We found significantly higher TUG1 and n377360 expression levels in osteosarcoma tissues compared with matched non-tumorous tissues. In line with this, suppression of TUG1 and n377360 expression by siRNA significantly impaired the cell proliferation potential of osteosarcoma cells. Furthermore, inhibition of TUG1 expression significantly promoted osteosarcoma cell apoptosis. Conclusions: The overexpression of TUG1 and n377360 in osteosarcoma specimens and the functional role of TUG1 and n377360 regarding cell proliferation and apoptosis in an osteosarcoma cell line provided evidence that the use of TUG1 or n377360 may be a viable but an as yet unexplored therapeutic strategy in tumors that over express these factors.

Zheng, Jian-Jie,Geng, Xi-Gang,Wang, Hai-Chen,Yan, Yang,Wang, Hong-Yan Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2013 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.14 No.3
Background and Purpose: Cardiac myxoma is a major primary heart tumor which often causes unexpected symptoms or sudden death. This present study was designed to investigate its clinical pathological features and biological behavior. Methods: A retrospective analysis of the clinical pathologic and immunohistochemical features of 66 cases with cardiac myxoma was conducted. Results: In 66 patients with cardiac myxoma, 61 cases had involvement of the left atrium, one case in both the right ventricular and left atria. The female: male ratio was 2.7:1. Patients had symptoms of blood flow obstruction and systemic alterations with performance of arterial embolization. Tumors were spherical, lobulated or irregular in shape, and soft and brittle. Immunohistochemical markers of vimentin and CD34 in tumor cells were positive. Conclusion: Cardiac myxoma always exists in the left atrium and is more common in women, with diverse clinical manifestations and pathomorphism. Although proliferative activity and the recurrence rate are low, in addition to thorough surgical resection, strengthened review is important for young patients.
