        Synthesis of rGO/TiO2/CdS Nanocomposites and its Enhanced Photoelectrochemical Performance in Determination of Parathion-Methyl

        A photoelectrochemical (PEC) sensor for the determination of organophosphate pesticides (OPs) was developed based on rGO/TiO2/CdS photoactive nanomaterials. The rGO/TiO2/CdS nanocomposites were prepared by solvothermal method and electrochemical deposition technique successively. The morphologies and structures of the as-prepared nanocomposites were extensively investigated by SEM and XRD. In alkaline condition, p-nitrophenol as the hydrolysate of parathion-methyl (PM) could be obtained by a simple hydrolyzation process. Under optimal conditions, the rGO/TiO2/CdS NPs modified ITO electrode exhibited a good PEC performance toward the hydrolysate of PM. The photocurrent intensity was enhanced with the increase of the concentration of the hydrolysate of PM. The proposed PEC method could detect PM in the range from 0.05 nmol L -1 to 10 nmol L -1 with a detection limit of 0.02 nmol L -1 (S/N = 3). Thus, the excellent performance of the rGO/TiO2/CdS nanocomposites serve as the matrix of the sensor, which provides a new way for the fabrication of high-sensitivity PEC sensing system.

      • Load regulation of the heat supply unit assisted by the energy storage in thermal networks via a reference model-based controller

        With the grid-connection of renewable energy such as wind and solar, the coal-fired units are required to participate in deep-peak-shaving and respond to the automatic generation control (AGC) command as fast as possible. As a result, energy storage in thermal networks is usually utilized to assist the load regulation of the unit. However, the traditional proportional-Integral (PI) controller is unable to obtain satisfactory performance due to its simple structure, and its tuning is still a challenge for practitioners because of the compromise between parameters. To solve this problem, a reference model (RM)-based controller—desired dynamic equational (DDE)-PI is designed to regulate the load of the unit since it can obtain good tracking performance and readily eliminate the compromise. Simulation results demonstrate that DDE-PI can not only regulate the load with fast and moderate tracking performance but also improve the stability of the supply steam pressure, which shows its promising prospects in the future power industry with the increasing demand to integrate more renewable energy into the grid.

        Electromechanical analysis of 2-2 cement-based piezoelectric transducers in series electrically

        his paper aims to present the analytical solutions of 2-2 cement based piezoelectric transducers in series electrically based on the theory of piezo-elastic dynamics. The solutions of two different kinds of 2-2 cement based piezoelectric transducers under external harmonic load are obtained by using the displacement method. The effects of electrical connection of piezoelectric layers, loading frequency, thickness and distance of piezoelectric layers on the characteristics of the transducers are discussed. Comparisons with other related experimental investigations are also given, and good agreement is found. The proposed 2-2 cement based piezoelectric transducers have a great potential application in monitoring structural health in civil engineering and capturing mechanical energy or monitoring train-running safety in railway system and traffic safety in road system.

        Complete genome and phylogenetic analysis of bovine papillomavirus type 15 in Southern Xinjiang dairy cow

        Background: Bovine papilloma is a neoplastic disease caused by bovine papillomaviruses (BPVs), which were recently divided into 5 genera and at least 24 genotypes. Objectives: The complete genome sequence of BPV type 15 (BPV Aks-02), a novel putative BPV type from skin samples from infected cows in Southern Xinjiang China, was determined by collecting warty lesions, followed by DNA extraction and amplicon sequencing. Methods: DNA was analyzed initially by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) using the degenerate primers FAP59 and FAP64. The complete genome sequences of the BPV Aks-02 were amplified by PCR using the amplification primers and sequencing primers. Sequence analysis and phylogenetic analysis were performed using bio-informatic software. Results: The nucleotide sequence of the L1 open reading frame (ORF) of BPV Aks-02 was 75% identity to the L1 ORF of BPV-9 reference strain from GenBank. The complete genome consisted of 7,189 base pairs (G + C content of 42.50%) that encoded 5 early (E8, E7, E1, E2, and E4) and 2 late (L1 and L2) genes. The E7 protein contained a consensus CX2CX29CX2C zinc-binding domain and a LxCxE motif. Among the different members of this group, the percentages of the complete genome and ORFs (including 5 early and 2 late ORFs) sequence identity of BPV Aks-02 were closer to the genus Xipapillomavirus 1 of the Xipapillomavirus genus. Phylogenetic analysis and sequence similarities based on the L1 ORF of BPV Aks-02 revealed the same cluster. Conclusions: The results suggest that BPV type (BPV Aks-02) clustered with members of the Xipapillomavirus genus as BPV 15 and were closely related to Xipapillomavirus 1.

      • Nonlinear Analysis Chaotic Characteristics of Leak Signal of Pipeline based on Reconstructed Phase Space

        The In this paper, nonlinear analysis is used to study the possibility of chaotic behavior of pipeline pressure signal. Based on real-time data of pipeline leak monitoring system, oil pipeline pressure signals have been verified to be chao system by analyzing the chaotic characteristic of pressure time series. Six typical measured data of pipeline pressure are selected and reconstructed to the higher phase space. And then the largest Lyapunov exponent of each data is calculated to test and verify the chaotic characteristics of the pressure signal. For pipeline leakage fault diagnosis, the approximate entropy (ApEn) has been applied to extract the nonlinear and chaotic characteristics. By calculating the ApEn of normal, operation and leakage signals, the results indicate that the value ranges of three kinds of signals are above 0.35, below 0.025, and from 0.025 to 0.35. And the identification rate of pipeline leakage has been reached 90.0% only based on ApEn, which provide more effective basis for the classification and identification of chaotic characteristics of the pressure signal.

      • The Research on network Losses Allocation of Power Market based on Improved REI Network Numerical Equivalence

        The main purpose of this paper is how to allocate network losses of power market, and takes this as objective function of this paper. Then we have conducted an in-depth analysis and discussion to the commonly-used algorithm of network losses allocation of each country. On this basis, we have chosen power flow tracking algorithm, and carried on in-depth analysis, then found out the shortcomings and areas for improvement. For the shortcomings, we have introduced REI network numerical equivalence method, and applied it to the improved power flow tracing algorithm of this paper. Moreover, we have verified four-node and three-machine nine-node network system, and proved the rationality of the model. Therefore, the proposed method in this paper was applied to bidirectional network losses allocation model. Generator and load undertook network losses of each electronic component according to certain proportion. In this paper, complex power flow tracing algorithm was applied to four-node system and the western U.S. power grid WSCC three-machine nine-node system, verifying the validity and correctness of this algorithm.

        Preparation, Characterization and Luminescence Properties of a Novel 1,10-Phenanthroline-Functionalized Polyimide and Its Europium(III) Complexes

        A novel 1,10-phenanthroline-functionalized polyimide (CMPI-Phen) was prepared as polymer matrix by the nucleophilic substitution reaction between chloromethylated polyimide (CMPI) and 5-amino-1,10-phenanthroline (NH2-Phen). Then, two kinds of luminescent materials of 1,10-phenanthroline-functionalized polyimide containing Eu(III) complexes, were obtained by two different methods. Their structures and properties were characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, elemental analysis, inductively coupled plasma (ICP), gel permeation chromatography (GPC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), X-ray diffraction (XRD), luminescence spectrometry, and luminescence decay analysis. Investigations revealed that both the CMPI-Phen-Eu(III) and CMPI-Phen-Eu(TTA)3 display highly efficient red emissions, suggesting their potential application as luminescent materials. However, compared with CMPI-Phen-Eu(III), CMPI-Phen-Eu(TTA)3, where TTA stands for thenoyltrifluoroacetone, exhibits more excellent and stable fluorescence intensity and longer luminescence lifetime (134.30 μs). The weight-average molecular weights of CMPI-Phen-Eu(III) and CMPI-Phen- Eu(TTA)3 are 2.40×104 and 3.11×104, respectively. The Eu contents of CMPI-Phen-Eu(TTA)3 and CMPI-Phen-Eu(III) were measured by ICP to be 7.00% and 5.92%, respectively. TGA demonstrated that both CMPI-Phen-Eu(III) and CMPI-Phen-Eu(TTA)3 have high thermal stability and their 5% loss weight temperatures were 356 and 280 oC, respectively. Moreover, both CMPI-Phen-Eu(III) and CMPI-Phen-Eu(TTA)3 were soluble in polar solvents such as dimethylformamide (DMF), dimethylacetamide (DMAc), 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP), and dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) under heating conditions, and could be easily cast into tough thin films.

        The current document is based on a consensus reached by a panel of experts from the Chinese Society of Allergy and the Chinese Society of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Rhinology Group. Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) affects approximately 8% of Chinese adults. The inflammatory and remodeling mechanisms of CRS in the Chinese population differ from those observed in the populations of European descent. Recently, precision medicine has been used to treat inflammation by targeting key biomarkers that are involved in the process. However, there are no CRS guidelines or a consensus available from China that can be shared with the international academia. The guidelines presented in this paper cover the epidemiology, economic burden, genetics and epigenetics, mechanisms, phenotypes and endotypes, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, management, and the current status of CRS in China. These guidelines—with a focus on China—will improve the abilities of clinical and medical staff during the treatment of CRS. Additionally, they will help international agencies in improving the verification of CRS endotypes, mapping of eosinophilic shifts, the identification of suitable biomarkers for endotyping, and predicting responses to therapies. In conclusion, these guidelines will help select therapies, such as pharmacotherapy, surgical approaches and innovative biotherapeutics, which are tailored to each of the individual CRS endotypes.
