Complete genome and phylogenetic analysis of bovine papillomavirus type 15 in Southern Xinjiang dairy cow

        Hu, Jianjun,Zhang, Wanqi,Chauhan, Surinder Singh,Shi, Changqing,Song, Yumeng,Zhao, Yubing,Wang, Zhehong,Cheng, Long,Zhang, Yingyu The Korean Society of Veterinary Science 2020 Journal of Veterinary Science Vol.21 No.2

Background: Bovine papilloma is a neoplastic disease caused by bovine papillomaviruses (BPVs), which were recently divided into 5 genera and at least 24 genotypes. Objectives: The complete genome sequence of BPV type 15 (BPV Aks-02), a novel putative BPV type from skin samples from infected cows in Southern Xinjiang China, was determined by collecting warty lesions, followed by DNA extraction and amplicon sequencing. Methods: DNA was analyzed initially by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) using the degenerate primers FAP59 and FAP64. The complete genome sequences of the BPV Aks-02 were amplified by PCR using the amplification primers and sequencing primers. Sequence analysis and phylogenetic analysis were performed using bio-informatic software. Results: The nucleotide sequence of the L1 open reading frame (ORF) of BPV Aks-02 was 75% identity to the L1 ORF of BPV-9 reference strain from GenBank. The complete genome consisted of 7,189 base pairs (G + C content of 42.50%) that encoded 5 early (E8, E7, E1, E2, and E4) and 2 late (L1 and L2) genes. The E7 protein contained a consensus CX2CX29CX2C zinc-binding domain and a LxCxE motif. Among the different members of this group, the percentages of the complete genome and ORFs (including 5 early and 2 late ORFs) sequence identity of BPV Aks-02 were closer to the genus Xipapillomavirus 1 of the Xipapillomavirus genus. Phylogenetic analysis and sequence similarities based on the L1 ORF of BPV Aks-02 revealed the same cluster. Conclusions: The results suggest that BPV type (BPV Aks-02) clustered with members of the Xipapillomavirus genus as BPV 15 and were closely related to Xipapillomavirus 1.

LANE DETECTION AND TRAJECTORY TRACKING CONTROL OF AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE BASED ON MODEL PREDICTIVE CONTROL

        Jianjun Hu,Songsong Xiong,Junlin Zha,Chunyun Fu 한국자동차공학회 2020 International journal of automotive technology Vol.21 No.2

A novel approach of combining lane detection and model predictive control (MPC) is presented to maintain the accuracy and stability of trajectory tracking control for autonomous vehicles. For the approach, the autonomous vehicles equipped with a camera act as the research object; image recognition technology such as dynamic region of interest (ROI) extraction, edge detection and Hough straight line detection are applied to extract the lane line. Next, to track the extracted lane line, the MPC based on a three-degree-of-freedom vehicle dynamics model is constructed; and the front wheel steering angle is corrected by the fuzzy controller based on the yaw angle and the yaw rate. In order to verify the effectiveness of the designed controller, a simulation model is established based on Matlab/Simulink-Carsim. And the simulation is performed under double lane change road. The simulation results show that the root mean square error of the optimized tracking trajectory and the expected trajectory is reduced by 19.35 %, which indicates that the designed controller shows good robustness and adaptability

Poly(vinyl alcohol) Fibers with Excellent Mechanical Properties Produced by Reinforcement of Single-walled Graphene Oxide Nanoribbons with Complete Morphology Obtained by Freezedrying

        Di Hu,Chao Xiao,Xia Wang,Xike Xiong,Jun Sun,Qiqi Zhuo,Jianjun Wang,Chuanxiang Qin,Lixing Dai 한국섬유공학회 2019 Fibers and polymers Vol.20 No.12

Nanofiller reinforcement is an effective approach to realize high performance of regular synthetic fibers. In thispaper, graphene oxide nanoribbons (GONRs) with complete morphology were prepared via unzipping single-walled carbonnanotubes (SWCNTs) through long-time freeze-drying after oxidation. GONRs derived from SWCNTs (SGONRs) did notneed any modification and could be directly added to poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) to form uniform dispersions and thencontinuous fibers were fabricated using wet spinning and hot-drawing. SGONRs provided abundant hydrogen bondinginteraction with PVA chains, so SGONRs could not only obviously improve the dispersibility in PVA, but also enhance themechanical properties of the composites. The tensile strength of PVA/SGONRs composite fibers with 0.4 wt% loading ofSGONRs reach 1032 MPa, improved by 121 % compared with PVA/SWCNTs fiber, and by 200 % with PVA fiber, respectively.

Robust Fixture Layout Design for a Product Family Assembled in a Multistage Reconfigurable Line

        Izquierdo, L. Eduardo,Hu, S. Jack,Du, Hao,Jin, Ran,Jee, Haeseong,Shi, Jianjun ASME International 2009 Journal of Manufacturing Science and Engineering Vol.131 No.4

<P>Reconfigurable assembly systems enable a family of products to be assembled in a single system by adjusting and reconfiguring fixtures according to each product. The sharing of fixtures among different products impacts their robustness to fixture variation due to trade offs in fixture design (to allow the accommodation of the family in the single system) and to frequent reconfigurations. This paper proposes a methodology to achieve robustness of the fixture layout design through an optimal distribution of the locators in a multistation assembly system for a product family. This objective is accomplished by (1) the use of a multistation assembly process model for the product family, and (2) minimizing the combined sensitivity of the products to fixture variation. The optimization considers the feasibility of the locator layout by taking into account the constraints imposed by the different products and the processes (assembly sequence, data scheme, and reconfigurable tools’ workspace). A case study where three products are assembled in four stations is presented. The sensitivity of the optimal layout was benchmarked against the ones obtained using dedicated assembly lines for each product. This comparison demonstrates that the proposed approach does not significantly sacrifice robustness while allowing the assembly of all products in a single reconfigurable line.</P>
