본 작품은 팬데믹 시대를 맞아 물리적인 무용 공연 무대의 대안으로서 가상현실을 탐구한 작품이다. 가상현실의 원형의 공간구조와, 구스타프 비겔란의 조각 분수를 모티브로 한 순환적인 서사 구조를 결합하여, 생로병사의 순환을 주제로 한 360 도 영상 기반의 가상 퍼포먼스 작품을 완성하였다.
Hybrid fragility curve derivation of buildings based on post-earthquake reconnaissance data

This study proposes a new hybrid method that uses both of post-earthquake reconnaissance data and numerical analysis results based on a finite element (FE) model. As the uncertainty of a capacity threshold for a structural damage state needs to be estimated carefully, in the proposed method, the probabilistic distribution parameters of capacity thresholds are evaluated based on post-earthquake reconnaissance data. Subsequently, the hybrid fragility curves were derived for several damage states using the updated distribution parameters of capacity thresholds. To illustrate the detailed process of the proposed hybrid method, it was applied to piloti-type reinforce concrete (RC) buildings which were affected by the 2017 Pohang earthquake, Korea. In the example, analytical fragility curves were derived first, and then hybrid fragility curves were obtained using the distribution parameters of capacity thresholds which were updated based on actual post-earthquake reconnaissance data about the Pohang city. The results showed that the seismic fragility estimates approached to the empirical failure probability at 0.27 g PGA, corresponding to the ground motion intensity of the Pohang earthquake. To verify the proposed method, hybrid fragility curves were derived with the hypothetical reconnaissance data sets created based on assumed distribution parameters with errors of 10% and 1%. As a result, it was identified that the distribution parameters accurately converged to the assumed parameters and the case of 1% error had better convergence than that of 10% error.

저자들은 성장발달지연을 동반한 색소실조증 환아 1례에서 뇌병변에 대한 조기 진단을 통하여 재활 치료가 필요하였던 환아의 사례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Incontinentia pigmenti(IP), so called Bloch-Sulzberger syndrome is a rare hereditary neurocutaneous syndrome and was described first by Bardach in l925. This disorder is known as a systemic disease caused by a defect at the developmental stage of organs originated from ectoderm or mesoderm. Incontinentia pigmenti is presented by characteristic linear hyperpigmented skin lesions, often associated with central nervous system involvement, dysplasia in the dental system, and ocular abnormalities. This disorder occurs almost in female infants, usually lethal in males, inherited as X-linked dominantly. Thirty percent of the patients suffer from central nervous system complications such as mental retardation, encephalopathy, delayed development, seizure, spastic paralysis and microcephaly. We report a case of a 12 month-old female with incontinentia pigmenti who was hospitalized with linear hyperpigmented skin lesions and delayed development.
ODAR: Aerial Manipulation Platform Enabling Omnidirectional Wrench Generation

<P>We propose a novel aerial manipulation platform, an omnidirectional aerial robot, that is capable of omnidirectional wrench generation with opportunistically distributed/aligned Sectional rotors. To circumvent the tight thrust margin and weight budget of currently available rotor and battery technologies, we propose a novel design optimization framework, which maximizes the minimum-guaranteed control force/torque for any attitude while incorporating such important and useful aspects as interrotor aerointerference, anisotropic task requirement, gravity compensation, etc. We also provide a closed-form solution of infinity-norm optimal control allocation to avoid rotor saturation with the tight thrust margin. Further, we elaborate the notion of electronic speed controller induced singularity and devise a novel selective mapping algorithm to substantially subdue its destabilizing effect. Experiments are performed to validate the theory, which demonstrate such capabilities not possible with typical aerial manipulation systems, namely, separate translation and attitude control on SE(3), hybrid pose/wrench control with downward force of 60 N much larger than its own weight (2.6 kg), and peg-in-hole teleoperation with a radial tolerance of 0.5 mm.</P>
