        Using the common hardware parts with the same generating algorithms, we construct a combined generator to be able to produce GMW code and No-Kumar code sequences for code division multiple access communication systems. Especially we simplified the conventional GMW code generating circuits by using the equivalent logic circuits instead of ROM.

      • 崩積土의 風化度가 自然斜面의 進行性 崩壞에 미치는 影響

        This study is an investigation of the influence of weathering degree on progressive failure slope. The clay mineral is kaolinite in failure soil layer which distributed in Granite - Schist rock zone of the Mesozic era and the thick of it is less than 3mm in heavy weathered soils, and so the failure form is friction type. The failure layer is sandy soils which have limited influence elements in sliding movement, and so the failure type is collapse type and bed rock failure type. The relationship between Ig-loss and saturation degree is an inverse proportion in characteristics of failure soils, and the saturation degree in laboratory sliding model increase about 78% to 85% and the effective porosity is deduced in 28% to 35%. The steady pore pressure(+) which produced according to rainfall time have more effective elements under the influence of precedent rainfall or concentrating precipitation on pointed day than weathering condition of failure soils, because the heavy weathered layer and rock-cracking layer is non-development state.

      • 점토굴착 사면의 거동에 관한 원심모형실험 및 수치해석

        This paper is the results of experimental and numerical works on analyzing the geotechnical engineering behavior and characteristics of excavated clay slope formed by the method of excavated replacement which is one of treatments in soft soil ground. For the centrifuge model tests, models of excavated clay slope were prepared by remolding the marine clayey soil sampled from the field. Tests were performed with changing the slope to investigate the behavior of them. On the other hand, numerical analyses were carried out to analyze the change of safety factor against instability of slope with time. Changes of pore water pressure, shear strength and displacement were also investigated. As results of centrifuge model tests with slopes of 1:1.5 and 1:3 using the confining body of simulating the effect of excavation, for the case of 1:1.5, slope failure occurred right after remove the confining body whereas relatively small displacements within the range of 3.2mm, implying to maintain the stability of slope, were observed for the case of 1:3 slope. From the results of numerical analyses using the software of PLAXIS to investigate the stability of slope after excavation, the minimum safety factor against slope failure was 1.28 for the case of 1:3 slope. The further researches in the future are required with considerations of build up of static pore water pressures during acceleration of centrifuge, depth of excavation influencing the behavior of the slope and permeability of the slope since excavation of the slope was not simulated well resulted from the limitations of apparatus at the stage of excavation during the centrifuge tests.

      • 대학생집단의 뇌기능 특성화 경향에 대한 연구

        체육학과 학생 163명과 국가대표선수 211명을 포함한 체육 전공자들과 의과대학생 282명, 문과대학생 101명, 신학전공학생 96명 그리고 간호학과 전공학생 100명, 계 953명을 대상으로 남녀 대학생들의 대뇌반구의 특성화, 편재화 경향을 시나가와 ( 品川)질문지 법을 이용하여 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 체육과 남학생은 우뇌형 45.6%, 좌우뇌형 47.4%, 좌뇌형 7%로 나타났으며, 여학생의 경우 우뇌형 41.6%, 좌우뇌형 44.3%, 좌뇌형 14.2%로 나타났다. 2. 대표선수의 경우 우뇌형과 좌우뇌형에서 일반 체육학과 학생과 유사한 분포를 보였으나, 좌뇌형이 남자 12.9% 여자 12.6%로 남녀 고른 분포를 나타냈다. 3. 의과대학생의 경우 남학생은 우뇌형 63.5% 좌우뇌형 24.9% , 좌뇌형 11.6%인 반면, 여학생은 우뇌형 50%, 좌우뇌형 22.9%, 좌뇌형 27.1%로 나타났다.. 4. 문학은 전공하는 남녀학생과 신학을 전공하는 학생은 우뇌형, 좌우뇌형, 좌뇌형의 순으로 유사하게 나타났다. 5. 간호학전공 학생의 분포는 우뇌형42.0% 좌우뇌형 38.0% 좌뇌형 20%였다. Many Studies have demonstrated that the two hemispheres are functionally specialized in the majority of individuals, so that the left hemisphere regulates verbal-analytic cognitive abilities while the right hemisphere predominates in spatial-synthesis abilities. This research program have proceeded about the tendency of hemisphere specialization in sportsmen and variable subject classes in university. Sinagawa's questionnaire method was used as the instrument for this study . The results obtained were as follows: 1. In the physical education class(163subjects) 45.6%(male) and 41.6%(female) of the subjects were regarded as the left hemisphere dominant type, 47.4%(male) and 44.3%(female) of them were bilateral and 7%(male) and 14.2%(female) of them were regarded as left hemisphere dominant type. 2. In the representatives (mational players) group, very similar frequencies were shown except in the left hemisphere dominant type, whose percentile distributions appear as 12.9% in males and 12.6% in females. 3. Extremely higher frequency was shown in right hemisphere dominant type in the male students of medical science class : 63.5% of them were right, 24.9% were bilateral and 11.6% were left hemisphere dominant type. 4. The frequencies of the literature class also were shown very similar patterns with those of other female classes.

      • 조기위암의 형태학적인 분류에 따른 임파절 전이 양상

        Currently, in the limited cases of early gastric cancer (EGC), endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) is used for curative treatment. However, its completeness is still controversial. The purpose of this study was to review the suggested indications of EMR. We retrospectively analyzed 234 patients with EGC who underwent curative (RO) gastrectomy. The enrolled cases were further classified into mucosal and submucosal types, and mucosal EGC were further classified according to the size, gross type and histologic pattern. 133 patients had mucosal cancers and 101 patients submucosal. The overall incidence of positive lymph node was 14.1% (33/234), the incidence of mucosal cancer was 8. 3% (11/133), which was significantly lower than that of submucosal, 22% (22/101). Of 133 patients with mucosal EGC, 90 were smaller than 2㎝ in size and the incidence of lymph node metastasis was 5.6% (5/90), compared to 43 of larger than 2㎝ with the incidence of 14% (6/43). According to the gross type classification of mucosal cancer, incidence of lymph node metastasis in protruded type (EGC type Ⅰ, Ⅱa, Ⅰ+Ⅱa) was 15.4% (4/26), nat type(EGC type Ⅱb) 2. 9% (1/35), depressed type (EGC type Ⅱc, Ⅲ) 8.3% (6/72). Lymph node metastasis in differentiated type of mucosal cancer was 6.9% (5/72) and undifferentiatcd type 9.8% (6/61). In this study, there was no single indication free from lymph node metastasis, It is thought that the selection of EMR for the curative treatment of EGC should be considered carefully and more clinical studies with long-term follow up are necessary for EMR to be generally acceptable.

        저분자량 폴리에틸렌이민을 이용한 유전자 송달 및 발현 유효성 연구

        Branched and linear polyethylenimines (PEIs) have been studied as efficient and versatile agents for gene delivery in vitro and in vivo. PEIs exist in a linear or branched topology and are available in a wide range of molecular weight (Mw). Most studies have been done using PEIs with Mw higher than 10Kd. This study was aimed to test the transfection efficiency and the cell viability following gene delivery using PEI of Mw 2Kd, a relatively lower Mw cationic polymer. We used murine interleukin-2(mIL-2) plasmid DNA complexed with branched PEI 2Kd or 25Kd, and transfected them into a myoblast muscle cell line, C2C12. The cellular uptake of mIL-2 plasmid DNA was determined using quantitative polymerase chain reaction. RNA transcript levels were studied in the myoblast cells. Our results show that PEI 2Kd was as effective as PEI 25Kd in celluar gene delivery and transfection efficiency in C2C12 cells. Moreover, MTT assay indicated that PEI 2Kd/DNA complexes did not significantly reduce the cell viability regardless of N/P ratios. These results suggest that PEI of Mw 2Kd might play a role as effective and low toxic nonviral vector systems for muscular cell lines.
