        天機論'의 문제

        <Abstract> Problems of the Cheon-ki-ron(天機論) Chung, Kil-soo* Cheon-ki-ron天機論 has been regarded as the representative criticism of poems in the late Joseon朝鮮 dynasty. Until now, it has been recognized that Cheon-ki-ron rose against Seong-jeong-ron性情論, the representative criticism of poems in the early Joseon dynasty. And we looked upon Cheon-ki-ron as a trial not only to be free from edification, but also to go to ‘the affirmation of emotion’ and ‘the discovery of individuality’. But by researching of the typical statement about Cheon-ki-ron by Jang Yoo張維(1587~1638) & Kim Chang-hyeop金昌協(1651~1708) and about Seong-jeong-ron by Zhu Xi朱熹(1130~1200), I concluded that Cheon-ki-ron had no originality in comparison with Seong-jeong-ron. Therefore, I propose that we should reexamine the whole poetics built on the opposition between Seong-jeong-ron and Cheon-ki-ron. Investigating the viewpoint of establishing Cheon-ki-ron as the Joseon's characteristic aesthetics, I found that the contents of Cheon-ki-ron were close to the synthesis of various theories of literary arts of East Asia in 16 ~17th century as well as the poetics of Chianhou-chizi前後七子. Accordingly, I concluded that Cheon-ki-ron was not the aesthetics native to Korea in the late Joseon dynasty.

        許筠의 사상 전환 - 『을병조천록』에 담긴 허균 만년의 생각 -

        Heo Kyun(許筠, 1569∼1618) went on a diplomatic mission to China from August 1615 to February 1616. He compiled poems written during that period, and published Eulbyeong-Jocheon-rok(乙丙朝天錄). This book is his last work and the only material that contains his thought in his latter years. Heo Kyun was deeply impressed by Li Zhi(李贄)’s Fenshu(焚書: A Book to Burn) in November 1615. Heo Kyun and Li Zhi, the heretics of Choseon and Ming dynasty, had a similarity of ideological orientation. So it seemed that Heo Kyun was inclined toward Li Zhi and the leftists of Yangming School who had developed his thoughts more radically. However, in January 1616, Heo Kyun declared the conversion of thought unexpectedly, after reading books of Yangming scholars, who were headed by Long Yuji(龍遇奇)’s Shengxue-qiguan-yishuo(聖學啓關臆說). His ideological orientation was not Buddhism and Taoism that he had inclined to for a long period, and not a radical idea of the leftist of Yangming School, but the main stream of Yangmingism or Zhuxiism. I think that he found a new way to cover up Yangmingism and Zhuxiism, or to consider Yangmingism and Zhuxiismand in the same context.

        傳奇小說의 전통과 『九雲夢』

        『九雲夢』은 傳奇小設을 중심으로 한 前代 소설의 전통을 새로운 문맥 속에서 교묘하게 표현한 작품이다. 『구운몽』은 悲劇的 愛情傳奇의 名爵들을 통해 면면히 이어져온 슬픔과 염려의 정서를 새로운 맥락 속에 재배치함으로써 장면장면 마다 웃음과 和樂의 세계를 구축한다. 『구운몽』은 17세기 소설사의 주요 흐름, 즉 비판적 지식인의 현실 인식을 담은 전기 소설과 하층민의 새로운 세계인식이 투영된 중편 국문소설에 대한 반론 성격을 띤다. 『구운몽』의 반론을 통해 비판적 지식인의, 생애 대한 심각한 문제 제기는 확기력을 잃고 우스꽝스러운 흥미소로 전락한다. 격화되는 갈등을 일정하게 반영하면서 새로운 전망을 보여주던 국문소설 역시 『구운몽』이후로는 지배 이념을 대변하거나 통속적 흥미를 추구하는 방향으로 나아간다. 『구운몽』은 『金??新話』와 더불어 우리 고전소설의 최고봉으로 꼽힐 만큼 그 소설적 성취가 대단히 큰 작품이다. 그러나 『구운몽』이후의 소설에서 인간과 세계에 대한 심각한 문제 제기나 변화하는 시대에 걸맞는 새로운 시각을 찾아 보기 어렵다는 점에서 볼 때, 『구운몽』의 소설사적 위상과 가치는 재검토될 필요가 있다 Koo-Woon-Mong(九雲夢), the one of the best Korean classic novel, succeeded the superior tradition of ch'uan-ch'i bsiao-sbuo, and varied it elaborately in the new context. The main stream of short stories in 17th century was ch'uan-ch'i hsiao-shuo and Korean vernacular fictions. Both are characterized as the literature of sorrowful indignation, which reflects the social conflict of the ages. Koo-Woon-Mong is a contradiction to the main stream of short stories which contains the view of critical intellect and the new vision of the low status. The counterargument of Koo-Woon-Mong made the serious insight about life a ridiculous element of interest. And Korean vernacular fictions strengthen the tendency toward popular interest, or defend the ideology of aristocracy. From this point of a view, it is appraised that Koo-Woon-Mong had a negative effect on the progress of the history of novel in the late Joseon(朝鮮) dynasty.

        파열된 거대 중뇌동맥류의 수술적 경험 2례 : 2 Cases

        The authors report their experiences of direct intracranial operation on 2 cases of ruptured giant middle cerebral artery aneurysm which have similar diameter size (over 2.5㎝) and location (middle cerebral artery bifurcation area). One had showed subarachnoid hemorrhage at the right sylvian fissure and another had showed intracerebral hematoma at the right temporal lobe on brain C - T scan. The former was operated 25 days after ictus because of generalized seizure attack and vasospasm on cerebral angiography, the latter was operated within 18 hours after ictus due to semicomatose mental state and intracerebral hemotoma on the right temporal lobe. We have utilized on giant aneurysmal surgery with multiple tactics such as transient hypotension, temporary clipping, multiple clipping, puncture or incision of the aneurysmal body and removing of hematoma.

        지향 잃은 자유인의 초상 - 金鳳論

        Kim Bong is a protagonist of Kim Bong Bonjeon, the 4th story of Sindan-gongan, which was serialized in Hwangseong-Shinmun皇城新聞 in 1906. After being frustrated at the unequal structure of medieval society, Kim Bong thought of life as passing his time in vain and demonstrated his amazing abilities in a crooked way. Kim Bong had two faces through a chain of fraud, one of which is the face of a picaro and the other is that of a chivalrous person. Kim Bong revealed the corruption and hypocrisy of the world through his fraud, but he was not free from the corruption and hypocrisy, too. There were antinomic desire and chaotic awareness behind Kim Bong’s contradictory acts. It was to criticize mammonism pursuing material affluence and long for the freedom without restraint not imagining the universal values of freedom. 金鳳은 1906년 『皇城新聞』에 연재된 『神斷公案』 제4회, 곧 <金鳳本傳>의 주인공이다. 김봉은 중세사회의 불평등한 구조에 좌절한 뒤 삶을 하나의 ‘消遣’이라 생각하고, 자신의 비상한 재주를 비뚤어진 방식으로 발휘했다. 김봉은 일련의 사기 행각 속에서 피카레스크 소설의 주인공과 유사한 惡漢의 면모와 義俠의 면모를 동시에 보여주었다. 김봉의 사기를 통해 세계의 타락과 위선이 폭로되었으나, 그 타락과 위선으로부터 김봉 자신 또한 자유로울 수 없었다. 긍정적인 면모와 부정적인 면모가 공존하는 김봉의 모순적인 행위 이면에는 物神化를 비판하면서도 물질적인 풍요를 추구하는 이율배반적 욕망, 국가 권력을 부정할 만큼 속박 없는 자유를 갈망하되 개인적 차원의 향락에 머물 뿐 보편적 가치를 지닌 자유에 대한 像은 정립되지 못한 인식의 혼란이 놓여 있다.

        중추 신경계의 원발성 악성 흑색종 : 증례보고 Case Report

        전북 대학교 의과대학 신경외과학교실에서는 49세된 남자환자에서 중추신경에 드물게 발생하는 원발성 악성 흑색종 1례를 경험 수술적요법으로 완전절제하여 좋은 결과를 얻었기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고 하였다. A case of a primary malignant melanoma of the right parietoccipital lobe is presented. The patient was a 49-year old man who had suffered headache, dizziness, recent memory disturbance & gait disturbance for 6 months. Total surgical removal of the lesion was performed without neurological deficit & the prognsis was good. Primary malignant melanoma of the brain are rarely reported in the literature. The possible etiology & management of the condition are discussed & literature is reviewed.

        집단미술요법이 여대생의 신체상과 자존감에 미치는 영향

        -Effects of Group Art Therapy Program on Body Image and Self-esteem in College Women Purpose: The purpose of the study was to determine the effects of the 8-week, 16-session group art therapy program on body image and self-esteem in college women. Method: Data collected by self-reported questionnaires from 58 college women in Inchon who were selected by criteria of this study, from the 6 of March to 10 of May, 2002. The 11 experimental group participated in a 8-week group art therapy program. Descriptive statistics, homogeneity test, hypothesis, and reliability test were performed statistically by utilizing SPSS PC+ 8.0 program. Result: 1. 'The experimental group showed significantly higher scores in body image than the comparison group. 2. No significant differences were found between two groups in self-esteem. Conclusion: The findings showed the possibility of applying group art therapy as an effective intervention for clients with negative body image to improve their body image.
