        Soil fertility is fundamental in determining the productivity of all farming systems and is most�ᅠ�ᅠ commonly defined in terms of the ability of the soil to supply nutrients to crops. Organic farming systems rely on the management of soil organic matter to enhance the chemical, biological and physical properties of the soil, in order to optimize crop production. Organic agriculture excludes the use of chemical nitrogen fertilizers, instead requiring a balance between supply and demand nutrients through the use of organic matter. Nutrient management is one of the main challenges facing organic farming. The short term challenge is supplying sufficient nutrients to crops at the correct point in their development to achieve economically viable yield, while in the long term, the difficulty is to balance nutrient inputs and runoffs to avoid nutrient rundown or environmental pollution. This paper reviews information from the literature to investigate strategies of managing nutrients by supplying organic matter in organic agriculture during the major phases of crop growth.

      • 최적설계 기법을 적용한 1톤 운반차용 P.T.O축 및 트랜스미션 개발에 관한 기초연구

        Now, power tillers and cultivators which are spread among fruit tree households have usage, low application, and high accident risk. Therefore, the development of multi-purpose work vehicles is needed as an alternative for these problems. Especially, easy usage and the ability to easily change gears when driving and the development of the P.T.O for various tasks such as pruning, water lifting, pest control, application and, mowing are needed. In this research, we will develop a transmission with design on P.T.Oaxle for agricultural work vehicles including multi-purpose vehicles. We aim to develop a 4-wheel drive transmission of synchronous contact type for practical use in fruit tree households which is required to be a large-sized agricultural vehicle. Therefore, we have per performed as follows that are composed of load capacity from 500kg to 1,000kg, safety securing for passengers, and drive securing under bad conditions of the topography slope and swampy land and the rest. For this purpose, we have developed a prototype vehicle through strength analysis of transmission design. we have selected optimal design conditions (Optimal RPM and torque according to some works) on the power transmission with multi-purpose vehicle for various jobs: spraying, manure spreading, mowing, brush wood chopping. If development of the P.T.O containing variable RPM and torque is successful, the following tasks can be possible. Air pruning, air maintenance, water lift, pest control, application, mowing, spraying, and brush wood chopping are possible with this developed P.T.O. Methods and contents for research are followed. Therefore, we have achieved performance-tests through the prototype of the multi-purpose work vehicle and have improved on troubles by the analysis of results of R&D. Also, we provided solutions to problems in mass production in the future.

      • 음경음낭이행부 횡절개술과 치골상부 지방절제술을 이용한 함몰음경 교정수술

        함몰음경에서 음경음낭이행부 횡절개술과 치골상부 지방 절제술은 음경의 길이를 충분히 확보하고 흉터도 적게 하는 데 도움이 될 수 있는 술식으로 생각된다. Background : Obese boys are rapidly increasing in Korea which may result in prevalence of concealed penis. But various operations for concealed penis have been devised yet to need revision. We performed suprapubic lipectomy and transverse incision on penoscrotal junction to report the surgical experiences in concealed penis. Methods : Total 16 patients underwent operation between August 2003 and september 2008 for concealed penis. All patients were performed transverse incision on penoscrotal junction, pulled out penis to incision site and dissected to symphysis, cut off partially suspensory ligament. Also all patients underwent suprapubic lipopectomy. Results : Mean age was 7.5 years. The body mass index was over 20 in 14 patients(87%). Mean operation time was 61 minutes and mean followup was 9.5 months. Mean hospitalization was 5.9 days. All patients had not significant complications. Conclusion : This approach shows good cosmetic results by minimal scarring with penoscrotal junction incision and has enough penile lengthening.

      • 세라믹필터 역세정에 노즐 및 디퓨저 형상이 미치는 영향

        The present study has been conducted experimentally to optimize the nozzle and diffuser shapes and diameters for dust removal system. Investigation of a dust removal system has been carried out to develop hot gas clean-up technology and to study for feasibility of clean coal technology pilot plant construction. Experiments was conducted to investigate the effects of pulse nozz1e and diffuser shapes on the air entrainments and on the pressure distribution in a particulate removal system. The main experimental parameters are different nozz1e shapes, nozzle diameters and nozzle tip positions from the diffuser upper plane. Especially, two different types of diffusers with a convergent-divergent shape and a divergent shape were tested systematically.       • 용융슬래그로부터 합성된 제올라이트 이용한 해수 중의 N, P 제거

        This study examined, as the one way of using zeolite, the about the removal of ammonia nitrogen and phosphorus that cause the eutrophication occurred the adjoining seas.4A type zeolite was used as an adsorbent to remve NH_4-N, PO_4^3-P ion in the artificial seawater. Zeolite is more required than in the fiesh water, under the same conditions, in order to remove NH_4-N in the sea water. The lower the thickness of NH_4-N is in the early stage, the more Freundlich type equation the value of 1./n increases. In case of PO_4^3-P indicated that the removal efficiency was relatively independent of PO_4^3-P concentration. Freundlich parameter 1/n has the value nuder 2. So it shows that absorption is made with relatively ease.

        Osteomyelitis is the inflammatory disease occured in the bone, involving a bone marrow, a Harversian system and the underlying cortical bone. Osteomyelitis is divided into acute and chronic osteomyelitis. Chronic osteomyelitis. is presented as a pain, swelling, pus discharge and radiographic change. The pathogenesis of osteomyelitis occcuring in the facial bone is predominately due to odontogenic microorgarnisms, Staphylococcus, resulted in odontogenic infection or post-traumatic infection. The mandible is the most commonly involved facial bone and the bones in the middle of third of the face is rare because of a abundant blood supply. Moreover, Osteomyelitis occuring in the zygoma is extremely rare. In our department, we report the case that osteomyelitis occuring in the zygoma with diabetes is resulted by odontogenic maxillary sinusitis.

        Correlation Between the Height and the Subjective Discomfort Ratings and Muscle Performance at performing the Lower Arm's Pronation and Supination according to the Changes in Height of Working Table

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation between the stature and the muscle performance ratings and the subjective discomfort rations at performing lower arm's pronation and supination according to change sin the height of working table for more efficient performance at designing a working table and performing a work. For the purpose, this study conducted an experiment targeting 40 people in their 20s, who were classified into 4 groups each group composing 10 people at intervals of 5cm from the standard stature of 166.5cm. The experiment measured the maximum isometric pronation and the supination muscular power, and at measuring the factors, the heights of working tables were set as 800mm, 850mm, and 900mm. From the measurement results, it was found that the stature and the maximum muscular power was correlated. That is, as the experiment groups's average stature is higher, the maximum muscular power was higher. For the correlation between the motion patterns(pronation and supination) and the maximum muscular power, it was seen that the maximum muscular power was higher at performing the pronation than the supination. In the correlation between motion patterns and the subjective discomfort ratings, it was seen that the subjective discomfort rating was higher at performing the supination than the pronation. For the correlation between height adjustment and the subjective discomfort ratings, as the height of working table was lower, the subject discomfort rating was lower. Therefore there was no difference in the maximum muscular power according to the height changes of working table, but it was found that as the working table was higher, the user felt more comfortable.

        올브라이트 유전성 골이영양증 환자에서 발생한 피부골종 1예

        Albright's hereditary osteodystrophy is an inherited syndrome that encompasses endocrinologic anomaly of pseudohypoparathyroidim of less commonly, pseudo-pseudohypoparathyroidism and various physical stigmata such as mental retardation, short stature, skeletal anomaly of the hands, abnormal dentition, round facies, and osteoma cutis. Primary osteoma cutis in this syndrome presents at birth or in early infancy, preceding most of the other manifestations. This case is a typical presentation with osteoma cutis as the sole initial manifestation. Rather unfamiliar to dermatologists, Albright's hereditary osteodystrophy still deserves to be included in the differentials when an isolated case of osteoma cutis presents in a young child.
