        고랭지 농업 용수확보를 위한 소규모 빗물 이용시설 적용방안

        최근 기후변화로 지난 2009년과 2012년에 강원도 태백시에서는 가뭄으로 인하여 엄청난 피해를 경험한 적이 있다. 또한 가뭄과 장마의 예측은 점점 더 어려워져 가는 실정이다. 특히 태백시의 87일간의 가뭄과 제한급수에 따른 피해액은 일상생활 134억원, 산업부문 338억원, 공공부문 47억원, 정신적ㆍ사회적 피해 1, 430억원 등 총 1, 949억원에 달하는 것으로 분석되었다. 태백시에 또 다른 큰 문제점은 가뭄으로 인한 고랭지 농업 피해로 인한 손실이다. 고랭지 배추를 생산하는 태백시는 우리나라 유일의 고산지역의 도시로서, 고랭지 농업이 특히 발달한 지역이다. 특히 태백 고랭지 배추는 태백시 농산품의 95.9%, 총 경지면적의 86.6%를 차지하고 있으므로, 배추의 생산성이 태백시 농산품 생산성을 대변한다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 태백시의 공공기관과 고랭지 농업 지역을 직접 방문하여 소규모 빗물 이용 시설에 대한 현황조사 및 시설의 상태를 점검하고 가뭄발생시 고랭지 농업지역의 피해를 최소화 할 수 있도록 소규모 빗물 이용 시설의 적용 방안 및 효과를 분석하였다. Recently, drought and rainy season are getting more serious. It is getting hard to forecast about drought because drought frequency is getting shorter than before. In 2009(winter) and 2012(summer), Taebaek-si was suffered from enormous damage due to the drought. Particularly, in 2009, cost of damage due to drought and restriction on water supply for 87days were estimated daily life sector 134 billion won, industry sector 338 billion won, the public sector 47 billion won, mental and social damage 1, 430 billion won. The other big issue of Taebaek is decrease in products of Highland Agricultural caused by the drought. Highland chinese cabbage which is the most important agricultural product in Taebaek-si account for 95.9% of all agricultural production of Taebaek-si and account for 86.6% of all gross area. For this reason, chinese cabbage of Taebaek-si is tropical agricultural product and is in charge of supply cabbage definitely. It is considered that if small scale rainwater harvesting system would be installed in highland agriculture area, it could reduce damage of drought at low cost and damage of cabbage would be decrease by system. For this study, We have researched regarding current status of Small Scale Rainwater Harvesting System of Highland Agriculture area in Taebaek-si and have compared with the amount of damage and installation cost in case of drought for the beneficial effects of Small Scale Rainwater Harvesting System, flexible supply of water and damage minimization of agricultural products.

        콜롬비아 소가모스에서 미세먼지 감축 시나리오 분석

        콜롬비아 소가모스 지역에서 미세먼지 감축 시나리오를 TAPM 모델을 활용하여 도출하고 평가하였다. 시나리오 1의 제철소 및 금속 등 중공업 오염원을 대상으로 미세먼지 방지 기술을 이용하여 배출량을 80% 감축하는 방안에서는 도시 중심 평균 농도는 6.5 μg m-3로 1.5 % 감소하였고, 모델영역에서 최고 평균농도는 387 μg m-3 로 변동 없었다. 시나리오 2의 벽돌 및 석회공장 등을 대상으로 연료를 석탄에서 코크스로 교체하여 90 % 감축하는 방안에서는 도시 중심 평균 농도는 4.5 μg m-3로 31.8%, 모델영역에서 최고 평균농도는 111 μg m-3 로 71.6 % 감소하였다. 시나리오 1과 시나리오 2를 결합한 시나리오 3에서는 도시 중심에서 평균 농도는 4.3 μg m-3로 34.8 %, 모델영역에서 최고 평균농도는 110 μg m-3 로 71.7 % 감소하였다. 소가모스 지역에서 대기환경을 개선하는 로드맵 수립에는 수공업에서 주로 사용되는 석탄 연료를 청정연료인 코크스로 교체하는 방안이 최우선으로 고려되어야 하겠다. 이후 미세먼지 방지 시설을 굴뚝에 설치하는 방안도 차선책으로 고려하여 환경과 경제가 선 순환하는 녹색성장관점에서 장기적인 미세먼지 개선 마스터 플랜이 수립되어야 하겠다. Reduction scenarios for PM10 concentration in Sogamoso, Colombia were analyzed using the TAPM( The Air Pollution Model). The average concentration of PM10 in the downtown area was 6.5 μg m-3, a reduction of 1.5 %. The maximum average concentration in the model domain was 387 μg m-3 without any reduction in scenarios 1 which the PM10 emissions from heavy industries such as iron and metal was reduced by 80 % using the prevention technology. In scenario 2 which the PM10 emissions from the brick and lime industries was reduced by 90 % substituting coke (a cleaner fuel) for coal, the average concentration of PM10 in the downtown area was 4.5 μg m-3, a reduction of 31.8 % , the maximum average concentration in the model domain was 111 μg m-3 , a reduction of 71.6 %. In scenario 3 which the scenarios 1 and 2 were combined, the average concentration of PM10 in the downtown area was 4.3 μg m-3, a reduction of 34.8 % and the maximum average concentration was 110 μg m-3, a reduction of 71.7 %. To put forward a road map for the reduction of PM10 in the Sogamos region, substituting coke for coal in manual industries should have priority over reduction policies. Also, it is highly recommended that a longterm master plan for reducing PM10 concentrations should be established with a focus on environmentally-friendly development and future green growth policy with a win-win relationship between economy and environment.

        쉰소리로 발현한 흉부 대동맥류 1예 : Ortner씨 증후군 orther`s syndrome

        Ortner씨 증후군은 다양한 심장 질환에 이차적으로 생긴 반회 후두 신경 마비에 의한 쉰소리를 특징으로 하는 임상 질환이다. 저자들은 흉통없이 발생한 쇤소리를 주소로 내원한 환자에서 좌측 반회 후두 신경의 손상에 따른 성대 마비의 1차원적인 원인으로 대동맥궁 부위에서의 대동맥류를 진단하였기에 문헌 고찰과 더불어 보고하는 바이다. Ortner's syndrome is a clinical entity with hoarseness due to a left recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy caused by cardiac disease. It is a recognized complication of a number of conditions including, atrial septal defect, patent ductus arteriosus, primary pulmonary hypertension, Eisenmenger's syndrome and aortic aneurysm. A 71-year-old woman with a history of hypertension and diabetes complained hoarseness and hemoptysis for 3 days. Chest X-ray showed a soft tissue mass shadow in the left upper lung field and chest CT scan revealed a thoracic aortic aneurysm. We report a case of left recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy due to a huge thoracic aortic aneurysm in an old woman. (Korean J Med 64:105-108, 2003)

        인간 면역부전 바이러스(HIV) 감염자 사이에서의 1기 및 2기 매독의 유행

        목적 : 국내 HIV 감염자 사이에서 발생한 매독의 유행을 보고하고, 그 역학적 특성을 규명하고자 하였다. 재료 및 방법 : 1999년 7월부터 2003년 9월까지 서울대학교 병원에서 추적 관찰을 받아온 HIV 감염자를 대상으로 하여 1기 및 2기 매독의 발생을 조사하였다. 발생률을 정확히 구하기 위해 추적 관찰을 받은 모든 HIV 감염자의 인년을 6개월 간격으로 구하였다. 결과 : 51개월 동안, 465명의 HIV 감염자가 서울대학교 병원에서 추적 관찰을 받았다. 이중 38명이 1기 및 2기 매독으로 진단되었다. 1기 및 2기 매독의 발생률은 이기간 동안 100인년 당 4.1명이었다. 1999년 7월부터 2001년 12월 사이에는 발생자가 없었으나, 이후 발생률은 꾸준히 증가하여 2003년 9월에는 100인년 당 18.8명이 되었다. 1기 및 2기 매독의 발생률은 동성애자 및 양성애자에서 이성애자에서보다 4.3배 높았고, HAART로 치료를 받지 않은 환자에서 HAART로 치료를 받고 있던 환자에서 보다 10.9배 높았다. 결론 : 2002년부터 국내 HIV 감염자 사이에서 1기 및 2기 매독이 유행하기 시작하였고, 이러한 유행은 동성애자와 양성애자 및 HAART로 치료를 받고 있지 않던 사람 사이에서 발생하였다. Background : This study was performed to characterize the epidemiologic and clinical features of outbreak of syphilis among HIV sero-positive patients in Korea. Materials and Methods : A retrospective case review of patients diagnosed with primary and secondary syphilis from July 1999 to September 2003 was carried out at Seoul National University Hospital in Korea. To estimate the incidence, person-years (PYs) of all HIV sero-positive patients, who visited the hospital in the same period, were calculated every 6 months. Results : In a 51 month period, 465 HIV-positive patients were followed up at Seoul National University Hospital. 38 cases of primary and secondary syphilis were diagnosed. The incidence of primary and secondary syphilis was 4.1 per 100 PYs during the study period. There was no case from July 1999 to December 2001, and then the incidence rose until September 2003 from 5.5 per 100 PYs in 1999 to 18.8 per 100 PYs in 2003. The rate of primary and secondary syphilis was 4.3 times higher among homosexual and bisexual men than heterosexual men (95% CI 1.87 to 11.17), and 10.9 times higher among patients who did not receive HAART than patients who were receiving HAART (95% CI 5.47 to 21.79). Conclusion : The outbreak of primary and secondary syphilis among HIV-positive patients started in 2002 and has been escalating, especially among homosexual/bisexual men and in patients who did not receive HAART.

      • 四鹽化炭素로 肝障害를 誘導한 家兎에서의 抗結核劑의 排泄에 關한 硏究

        The drug metabolism of several antituberculosis was investigated in liver injuried rabbits. Antituberculosis drugs which used on this experiment were Rifampicin, Isoniazide and Pyrazinamide. The results were as follows. 1. Activities of sGOT and sGPT of rabbits induced liver injury by CCl_4 were increased (in sGOT, from 48.9 ± 1.48 units/ml to 370 ± 19 units/ml and in sGPT, from 42.5 ± 1.22 units/ml to 386 ± 32 units/ml) after the lapse of 24 hours from CCl_4 administration and then they were decreased gradually with the lapse of time (in sGOT, to 310 ± 25 units/ml and in sGPT, to 285 ± 26 units/ml after the lapse of 72 hours from CCl_4 administration). 2. The rifampicin which cxcreted mainly through bile at a small dose administration was excreted in urine at a large dose administration. 3. Each antituberculosis drugs which administrated on this experiment was excreted more quantity in urine of CCl_4 pretreated rabbits as compared with normal rabbits. particularly, Rifampicin was excreted far more quantity in urine of CCl_4 pretreated rabbits all the time. 4. From the above results, it was recognized that many notice about use of Antituberculosis drugs to liver injuried body must be required.

      • 카오틱 신경망을 이용한 비선형 시스템 모사에 관한 연구

        In this paper, we investigated the identification of a nonlinear dynamic system and chaotic system using chaotic neural networks. Because of chaotic characteristics and self-connections in neuron itself, and interconnections between neural network identifiers could showed good performance in highly nonlinear dynamics such as chaotic system. Simulation results for some nonlinear dynamic system and the chaotic system with chaotic responses were presented to demonstrate robustness of chaotic neural network identifier.

      • 와인 잔 형태 슬롯-패치 UWB 안테나의 설계

        In this pafer, we proposed a wineglass slot-patch UWB antenna using approximately symmetry plane for prototype antenna of circular-slot UWB antenna. Using on field patterns, we show that the prototype circulat-slot UWB antenna operates on a series of multi-pole radiation based on TEn modes and the first resonant frequency by designed prototype antenna slot size. Ee designed and fabricated the wineglass slot-patch UWB antenna on FR4 substrate with t=1.524mm, εr=4.4 and tanδ=0.025, which not only has the half size of the original but also maintains UWB characteristics. The measured gain is reduced a little however radiation patterns are similar to that of the prototype antenna and maintain identical direction of max gain for all operation frequency.

      • 열차의 승강대 자동문 고장 분석에 관한 연구

        Korean railroad has been an industrial artery of the country for a long time and has played enormous roles in the transportation of passengers and goods. As a result, this sector has been striving for a continuous improvement in various aspects of the train in order to provide a better service to all passengers. This pattern of improvement can be observed in two broad categories: Electric components and mechanical components. However, in the process of improvement, some problems have occurred due to more complicated system structure, In electric components such as air conditioning units, lighting devices and other subsidiary devices, there occasionally shut off the electric line by the over current relay due to the switches and/or contactors caused by instant failure of the device trouble. The other case is mechanical components such as driving systems and braking devices, there are abnormal condition which are attacked other substances(eg. dust), burst in rubber contact panel, cracked, in welded pipes...etc. Even though, nowadays less, those problems have been minimized significantly in recent year aim to feel more comfortable and softer. So, this paper bases on this motive and analyses into the train examines the current state as well as the main factors causing system fault. It has been reported that train entrance doors and associated rollers are the most fault-prone component. Hence a detailed analysis was undertaken in this particular topic. By it analysis produced valuable insights on how to further improve the current system. It is expected that such preventive maintenance will improment overall quality of the service before faults.

      • 초광대역 원형 슬롯 패치 안테나의 최적 설계

        In this paper, an ultra wideband(UWB) circular slot antenna fed by tapered microstrip line is presented. The designed antenna is composed of a tapered feed line, a circular slot and a circular patch. Important physical parameters concerned with the wideband characteristic are investigated and optimized. The operational bandwidth of the antenna is from 3.5 GHz to 13.8 GHz. The simulated and the measured data show good agreement each other.

      • 타원 패치-슬롯형 UWB 안테나의 해석

        In this paper, an modal analysis based on the distribution of the electromagnetic fields on the UWB elliptical patch-slot antenna is presented. We designed the UWB antenna by iterating the dimensional parameters of the antenna as the traditional design method. Then the antenna was carefully analyzed using 3D E-M simulator. The result of the analysis shows that the slot antenna operates on a series of the multi-pole radiations based on TE modes matched to the system impedance. This result gives us an easier method to design the similar antennas, which is the impedance matching to the system impedance after once constructing a proper structure with a series of multi-mode resonances.
