We synthesized molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) which can selectively separate carbamazepine(CMZ) as a pharmaceutically active compound by using supercritical fluid technology in supercritical carbon dioxide(scCO2), and also evaluated the adsorption properties of the prepared CMZ imprinted polymers (CMZ-IPs). CMZ-IPs is prepared with methacrylic acid (MAA) as a functional monomer, CMZ as a template, and ethylene glycol di-methacrylate (EGDMA) as a crosslinking agent. The binding characteristics of CMZ-IPs are evaluated using equilib-rium binding experiments. The adsorption ability in aqueous solution of CMZ-IPs was investigated by HPLC analysis,measuring the adsorbed amounts for the template and its structural analogue, the selectivity factor (α), and the imprinting-induced promotion of binding (IPB). The adsorption properties with the change of pH and temperature of aqueous so-lution were also examined. The results of the evaluation analysis indicate that the prepared CMZ-IPs have high selectivity(102, 94, 75 and 44 µmol/g) and separation abilities.
A Cross-Country Analysis of Horizontal and Vertical Intra-Industry Trade of Korea

Intra-industry trade (IIT) is the simultaneous export and import of products within the same industry. This article investigates the trends of IIT in Korea, and empirically tests models of IIT using Koreas bilateral trade in the manufacturing industry with twenty-three countries. The Grubel-Lloyd index is used to measure the IIT level and price data are used to distinguish between horizontal and vertical IIT, where products are differentiated by attributes and by quality respectively. This article focuses on the test of country characteristics. The model is estimated using Tobit analysis. The data generally support the theoretical models of IIT; however, the vertical IIT model is better able to explain the variations in the level of IIT in Korea. This may be due to the fact that most of Koreas IIT is vertical in nature. This study also found that the difference in factor endowment was not significant when total IIT is analyzed, but it became significant when horizontal and vertical IIT are analyzed separately.

BACKGROUND: Poor balance control, mobility restrictions, and fall injuries are serious problem for many older adults. OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of physical fitness and walking abilities on compound exercise training (CET) during 24 weeks in older adults. METHOD: One hundred seven older adults were participated in compound exercise training (≥65 yr). Compound exercise training program was done three times per week, and exercise time was 60-70 minutes an each day. Initiating a program increased the gradually for 40% to 70% HRR. The established for adults for aerobic exercise training, balance control and other resistance exercise such as walking, dance, water walking, aquarobic, balance ball, and theraband pursuits. RESULTS: CET was performed three times per week and at a 40-70% HRR intensity. CET resulted in a significant improvement in physical ability such as back muscle strength, muscle endurance and agility. Futhermore, CET was a significant improved on 10m walking and the repeated 2.5m walking speed in older adults. CONCLUSIONS: The Compound exercise training may be an effective way to improving physical functioning in older people, including improving muscle strength, walking performance and delay mobility impairment in older adults.

A non-integrated type noise filter on a Coplanar Waveguide (CPW) transmission line is demonstrated by using a highly resistive $Co_{41}Fe_{38}Al_{13}O_8$ nanogranular thin film with the dimensions of $4\;mm (\iota)\times4\;mm(\omega)\times0.1\;{\mu}m(t)$. The noise suppression characteristics are evaluated without placing an insulating layer between the CPW line and the magnetic thin film. The insertion loss is very low being less than 0.3 dB and this low value is maintained up to 2 GHz. At a ferromagnetic resonance frequency of 3.3 GHz, the power loss is very large and the degree of noise attenuation is measured to be 3 dB. This level of noise attenuation is still small for real applications; however, considering the small magnetic volume used in this work, further improvement is expected by simply increasing the magnetic volume and by integrating the magnetic thin film into the CPW transmission line.
Nano-Granular Co-Fe-AI-O Soft Ferromagnetic Thin Films for GHz Magnetic Device Applications

Co-Fe-Al-O nanogranular thin films were fabricated by RF-magnetron sputtering under an $Ar+O_2$ atmosphere. High resolution transmission electron microscopy revealed that the Co-Fe-Al-O films are composed of bcc (Co, Fe) nanograins finer than 5 nm and an Al-O amorphous phase. A very large electrical resistivity of $374{\mu}{\Omega}cm$ was obtained, together with a large uniaxial anisotropy field of 50 Oe, a hard axis coercivity of 1.25 Oe, and a saturation magnetization of 12.9 kG. The actual part of the relative permeability was measured to be 260 at low frequencies and this value was maintained up to 1.3 GHz. The ferromagnetic resonance frequency was 2.24 GHz. The resulting Co-Fe-Al-O nanogranular thin films with a high electrical resistivity and high resonance frequency are considered to be suitable for GHz magnetic device applications.
