New Type of Reconstruction Method after Subtotal Gastrectomy : Noh's Operation
Noh, Seung-Moo,Jeong, Hyun-Yong,Cho, June-Sik,Shin, Kyung-Sook,Song, Kyu-Sang,So, Young,Lee, Tae-Yong 충남대학교 암공동연구소 2005 암공동연구소 업적집 Vol.4 No.
The aim of this study was to compare a new type of reconstruction method (Noh's operation) with Roux-en-Y operation after subtotal gastrectomy. Noh's operation described herein includes a jejunal occlusion, an end-to-side gastrojejunostomy, a side-to-end jejunoduodenostomy, and a side-to-side jejunojejunostomy after subtotal gastrectomy. A series of 43 patients who had the new operation were compared with 47 patients with the Roux-en-Y procedure. The postgastrectomy syndromes, and the raucosal change of the remnant stomach and esophagus were evaluated after surgery. In the new operation, the Roux stasis syndrome occurred in 34.9% at 3 months, in 23.3% at 6 months, in 14.0% at 12 months, and in 11.6% at 24 months. In patients undergoing the Roux-en-Y operation, the syndrome occurred in 42.6% at 3 months, in 34.0% at 6 months, in 31.9% at 12 months, and in 29.8% at 24 months. This study shows that the new type of operation (Noh's operation) can be a good option for reconstruction after subtotal gastrectomy.

Experiences and Perceptions of Pre-service Special Education Teachers on Flipped Learning
Noh,Jina(Jina Noh) 경인교육대학교 교육연구원 2022 교육논총 Vol.42 No.-
The study investigated the experiences and perceptions of pre-service special education teachers who had adopted flipped classrooms. The participants in this study were fourteen second- and third- year students majoring in special education at K University. They took a course entitled “Theory of Early Childhood Special Education,” which adopted the flipped learning format for one semester. The researcher conducted individual interviews to identify participants’ experiences and perceptions with respect to the flipped classroom. The results of the interviews were transcribed, and the transcriptions were analyzed by constant comparative methods. Three themes and six subcategories were derived: (a) opinion about operation of flipped learning, (b) experience with flipped learning, and (c) proposals to improve flipped learning in universities. Based on the results of this study, various teaching support methods in teacher training institutions were discussed to improve the training of special education teachers.
The Need to Teach Mathematics Fundamentals about Technology to Math Teachers
Noh, Sun-Sook 이화여자대학교 교과교육연구소 2001 East west education Vol.18 No.-
The 1st year mathematics education students and in-service math teachers at Ewha Womans University were taught mathematics fundamentals related to technology in the spring semester of 2001 so that they can better understand and use technology in their classrooms. The emphasis today in training mathematics teachers is in using technology rather than understanding technology. By knowing the underlying mathematics behind the technology that makes the technology possible, mathematics teachers should be able to use technology with more confidence and teach mathematics more effectively. Both prospective and in-service mathematics teachers at Ewha were mostly familiar with the use of technology such as calculators, computers and the Internet. Yet, most of the students did not fully understand the importance of the underlying mathematical concepts that made the technology possible and the historical development of mathematics that has led to today's technological revolution. The classroom experience of focusing on the underlying mathematics of technology showed that this is an area of focus that needs to be expanded to prepare mathematics teachers for the technology-based society.
The Simulation of Reactor Physics Test for the Research Reactor HANARO
Noh, Taewan Research Institute of Science and Technology HONGI 2005 Hongik Journal of Science and Technology Vol.9 No.-
The paper describes the development of a reactor power control algorithm using the program simulator for the simulation of dynamic behavior of a nuclear reactor. Before the full development of the algorithm for the commercial nuclear power plant, the Korean research reactor HANARO was chosen as a sample reactor for the simulation and for the reactor physics test. All the dynamic characteristics of HANARO were mathematically modeled into a computer program and the parameters of the plant components and the algorithm of reactor control system are adjusted to improve the transient performances as well as to satisfy the constraints imposed on the plant. Several physics parameters such as control rod worth, isothermal temperature defect, and power defec are correlated. These parameters were measured in serial order at the same core condition. The transient response of the plant shows satisfactory behavior and are well corresponding to the result of reactor physics test.
Relation between Disease Incidence of Bacterial Grain Rot of Rice and Weather Conditions
Noh,Tae-Hwan,Kim,Hyung-Moo,Song,Wan-Yeob,Lee,Du-ku,Kang,Mi-Hyung,Shim,Hyeong-Kwon 한국자원식물학회 2004 Plant Resources Vol.7 No.1
Bacterial grain rot of rice caused by Burkholderia glumae was examined between weather condition and disease incidence. From 1998 to 2000, average disease incidence was 3.0 % without difference in survey regions. However, it was related closely to amount of rainfall that disease incidence higher in 1998 and 2000 to 3.0 % and 3.6 % respectively than 2.3 in 1999 relatively small volum of rainfall season.
