A Case of Hypomelanosis of lto Geun Soo Lee, M.D., Hong Zoon Jang, M.D., Yeon Lim Suh*, M.D., Kyu Joong Ahn, M.Dl., Jong Min Kim, M.D., Chong Ju Lee, M.D. Departments of Dermatology and Pathology*, Clooege of Medicine, Hallym University Seoul, Korea We report a case of hypomelansis of Ito developed in a 6-year-old male patient. He had numberous bizarre, hypopigmented streaky macules on the left side of the chest, and upper arm. The histopathologi findings demonstrated that hypopigmented areas contained slightly decreased basal pigmentation with decreased content of intracellualr melanin in keratinocytes and melanocytes and revealed neither inflammatory changes nor dropping of melanin granule into the dermis. The electron microscopic finding showed decreased number of melanosomes, incomplete melaniztion, and cytoplasmic vacuoles in keratinocytes and melanocytes. Extra-cutaneous alterations were not found.

Brushless DC 모터의 磁氣에너지 모델에 의한 토크 제어 시스템 구성

본 논문은 자기에너지를 기본으로 한 브러시리스 DC모터의 토크 서보계를 현대 제어공학에 응용해서 새로운 모델을 구성하였다. 그리고 에너지 모델에서 토크와 회전자 자계에 저장된 에너지를 상태변수로 표현하였으며, 고속토크응답에는 무효전력의 주입이 불가능하다는 것을 알 수 있다. 브러시리스 DC모터의 제어에 의한 로봇 조정시스템으로 구성된 영역에서 부하 토크는 비 선형화가 상쇄되므로 정밀선형화 기법이 사용되어진다. 그리고 민감한 전력제어에서 발생하는 고속 토크응답은 시뮬레이션 결과에 의해서 나타내었다. 본 논문에서 제안한 제어시스템의 유용성은 시뮬레이션 결과에 의해서 그 타당성을 확인하였다. This paper present a new approach of the brushless DC motor control system based on magnetic energy model. In this model, the torque and the stored energies in rotor field are chosen as state variables, and these magnetic energies are decoupled. The field-oriented control of the brushless DC motor-robot manipulator system using exact linearizing method in order to cancel nonlinearity in load torque is constructed. It is shown from the simulation results that quick torque responses are obtained by reactive power control. The availabilities of a control system used in the proposed model are confirmed from simulation results.

This paper is a study on the introduction of Environmental Impairment Liability Insurance System. Nowadays, environmental pollution is one of the most serious problems with which modern societies are confronted. It belongs not only to one country but all countries. Therefore the environmental problem han become an international problem, and has risen to the surface as one of the biggest pending problems between the advanced and the developing countries. The peril that proceeds from the pollution of environment is different from the usual one, it procceds gradually and keeps going on for a long period of time. It is hard to predict the environmental pollution. And once pollution occurs, the damage is generally on a grand scale. Until now, the relief by judicial procedure and administrational procedure, and private relief is used for the method of the relief from the damage caused by environmental pollution. But in order to help the victim promptly and protect the enterprise of the invasion from the damage of the environmental pollution, it needs to establish the system of the Environmental Impairment Liability Insurance. This paper tries to aim at the study on the elements of Environmental Impairment Liability Insurance and seeking for introducing method of it to our country. the content of this paper follows; Chapter Ⅰ. T. S. Eliot's Four Quartets : 그 主題와 構成 및 表現

This paper is to examinethe the themes, the structure and the poetic method of Four Quartets, taking a consideration with three original problems in poetry: on an order in ordinary reality, on the muse, and onlife and death. Four Quartets is a personal and social study of the significance of man within the context of time. Various aspects of both time and significance being described and examined by him, Eliot's poetry is concerned with a search fortrue meaning or meaningless hidden under the exterior aspect of things. Particulary the search for the reality of the human situation made him a religious poet since "Ash-Wednesday." The Christianity of Eliot's poetry is a purgatorial Christianity as Dante's, Eliot, like Dante his great master, helped to revivify English Christian poetry and' to show that philosophic and religious statement can be used as the subject matters of Four Quartets. So the major themes are of the Creator immanent in the Creation, the Redeemer incarnate as a man suffering for the sin of men in his healing Passion, the Virgin as Intercessor, and the Holy Spirit descending in Pentecostal flame, challenging men with the fire of justice, the fire of purification and the lament fire of union in Paradise of rose garden. The structure of Four Quartets is of a four-in-one. The division of the physical universe in Four Quartets is made into the four elements of air, water and fire. And the elements,are used symbolically to express the elements in the nature of man which make him the microcosm out of the macrocosm. His powers of abstraction are air, the chemical composition of his body is earth, the lifestream in his blood is water, and his spirit is fire. Each poem emphasizes one element in particular. Each poem too creates one of four different ways of looking at time: time as memory; time as cyclical pattern; time as flux; time as the revelation of the meaning of human history. The title of each poem is the name of a place. The four seasons are related to four periods in the life of man comparing it with the movements of sonata in music. The poetic expression is of the objective correlatives. The method of symbolism, work-ing by implication and meed: the method of myth, which is closely allied to symbolism and the method of parallel and contrast, which works by the simultaneous evocation and juxtaposition of situations. If one tried to improve one's faith by writing a pcem about God, the result would be a bad poem and a lack of spiritual progress. But Eliot has written consistently about religious experience. And so for him it is more real, more charged with significance than any other level of reality, and therefore forms the strongest and best material for Four Quartets.

반치환술후 탈구 도수정복시 Bipolar shell의 분리-1례 보고

The disassembly of modular total hip prosthesis in the postoperative period has been reported with increasing frequency. This involves disassembly of modular acetabular cups, modular head - neck systems and bipolar systems. Disassembly of the components of bipolar endoprosthesis of the Bateman and Christiansen designs have been reported previously. We report on an unusual case of a patient in whom a modular, taper - locked femoral head seperated from the shell ; the seperation occurred during an attempt at closed reduction of a hip that had dislocated posteriorly.

고관절 전 치환 성형술 후 탈구에 관한 치험 및 연구

Dislocation is one of the serious complications in total hip replacement arthroplasties. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the risk factors of dislocation, including age, sex, preoperative diagnosis and bilaterality, history of previous hip surgery, positioning of component, soft tissue tension, treatment after dislocation or redislocation. Authors reviewed 190 patients of total hip replacement arthroplasty, which were performed from Jan. 1990 to Dec. 1996. 15 cases developed dislocation after surgery. Incidence of dislocation was 7.89%(15 of 190 cases). Dislocation after revision was not happened(0 of 18 cases). Inclination of acetabular cup was average 37.5° (range: 31° - 43° ). Average anteversion of the acetabular component was 18.1" by Woo and Morrey method, 11.4° by Hassan method. They were normal range except 3 cases. Dislocation was not prevented even though inclination and anteversion of acetabular cup were within normal range. Soft tissue tension is determined by change of limb and femoral neck length. Average limb length difference was -0.2mm(range; -l0mm - +10mm) and average offset difference was +1.7mm(range;-4mm - +18mm). Revision must be accomplished as soon as possible when limb shortening happen by upward migration of the acetabular component. In conclusion, anteversion of acetabular cup may be most important factor in our cases, so cup position must be fixed in proper position during operation.
