        The shear capacity of reinforced concrete beams is characterized by various parameters as the strength of concrete, the shear-span ratio, the strength of shear reinforcement etc. Sixteen specimens were tested with those variables. All specimens showed the shear failure mode to accompany the diagonal shear cracks or the flexural failure. Through the experimental works, it was evidenced that the shear strength depends on the strength of concrete, the shear-span ratio, the confinement index including the strength and spacing of shear reinforcement bars etc. Although part of test results could not distinct the effects of test variables due to the yielding of longitudinal bars, it was shown that they almost satisfy the ACI code except several specimens confined by high-strength shear bars.

      • 蘆嶺山脈을 中心으로 한 全南北地方의 氣候要素 分布와 變化特性 및 氣象要素間의 相關관계

        This paper is a study on the distribution of the climatic elements, characteristics of change and correlation among the meteorological variable in the Chollado area. For this study the MONTHLY WEATHER REPORTS over the last ten year(1971~1980) were u^tilized. Weather station were nine in number, those of Kunsan, Puan, Chonju, Cho^ng-up, Imshil, Namwon, Kwangju, Hampyong and Mokpo. The meteorological variable include relative humidity, evaporation, precipitation, air temperature, etc. As the result of this study, each climatic element showed the same aspects of change. During the summer, relative humidity, evaporation and precipitation, and air temperature reached their highest points, and wind speed, wind direction and diurnal temperature range fell to their lowest points, and the highest point appeared two times. The values of the climatic variables differed greatly among the different observatories. Integrated interpretation is also needed because there is more or less correlation among all the meteorological elements.

        유리 측대퇴 피판을 이용한 압궤수부손상 재건술

        Utilizing the lateral thigh flap as originally described by Se-Min Baek. in 1983, we have treated seven cases of reconstruction involving crushing injuries of the hand. This flap is derived from the third perforator of the deep femoral artery and accompanying wein as per Baek`s method. When a large skin flap was needed such as the case of crushing hand injuries, a lateral thigh flap was more useful than any other flap. From our experiences for reconstruction of crushing hand injuries, the following advantages of this flap are noted: 1. It is possible to obtain a large size of all skin flap. 2. It is relatively thin with a small amount of the subcutaneous fat. 3. The vascular pedicle is long (10㎝ or more), facilitating microvascular anastomosis. 4. The lateral thigh flap can be a sensory flap. 5. It can be accommodated easily to any operating position.

      • 대퇴골두 골괴사를 동반한 슬관절 골괴사 : 증례 보고

        본 순천향대학교 의과대학 정형외과학 교실에서는 2명의 환자에서 발견된 대퇴골두 골괴사와 함께 발생한 양측 슬관절 골괴사를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. 대퇴골두 골괴사가 있는 환자에서 슬관절 동통을 호소하는 경우 연관통 등으로 여겨 간과하기 쉬우며, 대개 고관절의 통증으로 체중부하 보행이 어려운 경우가 많아 통증이 약하게 나타나기도 하기 때문에 관심을 가지고 슬관절 골괴사를 동반하는지 여부를 판단하여야 할 것이다. Osteonecrosis of the knee associated with osteonecrosis of the femoral head was very rare and reported cases were quite rare. We have experienced two cases of osteonecrosis of both knees associated with osteonecrosis of the femoral head. One is a 44-year-old man who had avascular necrosis of the righ femoral head and osteonecrosis of both knees, femoral condyle and metaphysis of proximal tibia. Another case is a 39-year-old man who had osteonecrosis of both femoral head and osteonecrosis of the both knees, medial condyles of both tibias. They were treated with total hip replacement arthroplasty for avascular necrosis of the femoral head and conservatively for osteonecrosis of the knee. If a person complains of pain in hip and knee simultaneously, we should pay attention and rule out osteonecrosis of the knee.

      • 도시근린공원의 이미지와 이용만족도에 관한 연구

        This paper presents the future direction of the development and maintenance of the urban park of the Kumi city. The direction was obtained by analyzing the evaluation results on the satisfaction level of park use and the park image of the park users. The analysis results are as follows. 1) It turns out that the rest and accommodation facilities are the major facilities that uplifts the total image of the park. 2) Among the park images, the image on the pleasantness was the major image, related with the satisfaction on the park equipments. 3) The social class, who gave a bad score on the above equipments and images, is a low-aged class, who is a white class with high income as well. Therefore, it is suggested that the park maintenance plan, with emphasis on the class, is an important task.

        Sublimation을 사용한 수직 2단의 전기로에서 성장한 CdS 단결정은 육방정으로 성장했고 격자상수 a_0과 c_0은 외삽법으로 구해 각각 4.1386Å과 6.7176Å임을 알 수 있다. Electron beam으로 중착한 CdS 박막도 육방정계이고, 이 박막을 Ar 분위기에서 열처리한 결과 grain size가 1㎛ 정도로 성장되었다. Van der pauw 방법으로 구한 Hall data로부터 CdS 단결정의 carrier density는 상온에서 ∼10^17㎝^-3정도이고 이동도는 3×10^2㎠/V·sec 정도이다. 이동도는 33K에서 130K까지 불순물 산란에 기인하는 T^(3/2)에 따라 증가하는 경향이 있고 130K에서 상온까지는 격자산란에 기인하는 T^(-3/2)에 따라 감소한 경향이 나타났다. The CdS single crystal was grown from sublimation method in vertical electric furnace. Crystal was found to be of a hexagonal structure. The lattice contants of grown CdS single crystal were measured to be a_0=4.1386Å and c_0=6.7176Å. The CdS thin film evaporized by Electron-beam method was a hexagonal structure. Grain size of CdS thin film annealed in Ar atmosphere was grown to 1㎛. The electron carrier density and hall mobility of CdS single crystal were measured using the Van der Pauw method at room temperature and their values are about ∼10^17㎝^-3 and about 3×10^2㎠/V·sec respectively. The Hall mobility of single crystal increases from 33K to 130K by T^(3/2) due to impurity scattering and decreases from 130K to room temperature by T^3/2 due to lattice scattering.

      • B형 간염 동반 원발성 간암 환자에서의 CYP2D6와 NAT2 다형현상에 관한 연구

        The CYP2D6 and N-acetyltransferase (NAT2) are polymorphic enzymes which are expressed in the hepatocyte in a genotype-determined manner. CYP2D6 and NAT2 are known to be involved in the inactivation and activation of various mutagens and carcinogens, respectively. The activities of the two enzyme systems are associated with the genetic susceptibility of many human cancers. This study was performed to determine the genotype frequencies of the two enzyme systems in primary hepatocellular carcinoma patients and healthy controls. One hundred healthy controls and 55 liver cancer patients were analyzed by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP). The results are as followings:1. In the healthy controls, CYP2D6 wild type allele frequency was 0.985 and CYP2D6^*4 frequency was 0.015, and no CYP2D6 poor-metabolizer was detected. No significant differences were found in hepatocellular carcinoma patient group. 2. Frequencies of F, S1, S2 and S3 alleles of NAT2 system were 0.725, 0.01, 0.14 and 0.125 in controls, respectively. The genotype frequencies were found to be 0.91 of rapid acetylator and 0.09 of slow acetylator. No significant differences were found in hepatocellular carcinoma patient group. 3. These results suggest that the distribution of CYP2D6 and NAT2 polymorphisms is very unique in Korean populations characterized by extremely low frequency of CYP2D6 poor-metabolizer and NAT2 slow acetylator. CYP2D6 and NAT2 polymorphisms seemed not to play an important role in the hepatic carcinogenesis in Korean population.

      • Iodine을 촉매로 하는 화학적 수송방법에 의한 CdS 단결정의 성장과 그 특성에 관한 연구(Ⅰ)

        Iodine을 촉매제로 하는 화학적 수송방법으로 CdS 분말 3g을 증발함에서 결정화함으로 수송하는데 96~154시간이 소요되었다. 이렇게 성장한 CdS 단결정은 X-선 회절기에 의해서 육방정계임을 알게되었다. 전자현미경으로 Cd, S 및 iodine의 X-선을 찾아보았더니 iodine 성분의 X-선을 찾아 볼 수 없었다. Van der Pauw 방법으로 측정한 Hall 효과로부터 CdS 단결정은 n형이고 carrier 농도는 ~10^17cm^-3 정도이며 활성화에너지 E_d값은 0.63eV정도임을 알게되었다. The time required to transport CdS powder 3 gram in the vaporization chamber into the crystallization chamber by the method of chemical vapor transport which was used iodine as a transporting agent was 96-154 hours. The single crystal grown by the above method was found hexagonal system using X-ray diffractometer. Cd and S, iodine characteristic X-rays were examine by electron microscope but there was no iodine characteristic X-ray. This single crystal was found n-type and the activation energy, E_d, was about 0.63 eV. The carrier density was about ~10^17cm^-3. These results was fllowed by Hall effect using Van der Pauw method.
