<P>New functionalized CuO hollow nanospheres on acetylene black (CuO/AB) and on charcoal (CuO/C) have been found to be effective catalysts for C-S bond formation under microwave irradiation. CuO catalysts showed high catalytic activity with a wide variety of substituents which include electron-rich and electron-poor aryl iodides with thiophenols by the addition of two equivalents of K<SUB>2</SUB>CO<SUB>3</SUB> as base in the absence of ligands.</P>

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>We report a one-pot synthesis of hierarchical MnO/Pd-Fe<SUB>3</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> and CoO/Pd-Fe<SUB>3</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> nanocomposites containing scrolled multilayered nanosheets by controlled thermal decomposition of Fe(CO)<SUB>5</SUB> and reduction of metal precursors [Pd(OAc)<SUB>2</SUB>]. During the synthetic process, particles of amorphous MnO and CoO are immobilized on the Pd-Fe<SUB>3</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> support. These hierarchical nanocomposites follow a stepwise growth mechanism, initially forming Pd-Fe<SUB>3</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> seeds aggregated from nuclei, followed by growth to produce multilayered MnO/Pd-Fe<SUB>3</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> or CoO/Pd-Fe<SUB>3</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> structures. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report on the hydroboration of styrene with bis(pinacolato)diboron using heterogeneous nanocatalysts. 국가산업기술 R&D 투자효율성 제고를 위한 전략적 예산배분방법론의 실증적 연구

한정된 재정 여건 하에서 우리나라의 산업기술개발을 통한 중장기 성장 잠재력의 지속적인 강화를 위해서는, 정부 R&D예산의 정책방향에 근거한 우선순위 설정과 그에 따른 전략적인 R&D 예산 배분이 매우 중요한 상황이다. 기존의 예산배분은 과거데이터와 각 산업분석을 기반으로 하였으나 여러 산업들 간의 융복합 현상은 정부정책과 비젼에 따른 대규모 프로젝트 수립과 이를 기반으로 한 섹터를 넘어서는 세부전략수립 및 투자방향 제시를 요구하고 있음에 따라 정책반영을 위한 전략적 판단과 과학적인 모델링을 통한 효율적인 예산의 집행을 필요로 한다. 따라서 이 연구는 정부연구개발사업의 중장기 전략적 예산배분을 위해 다기준의사 결정을 위한 AHP분석과 전략적 판단을 위한 포트폴리오 매트릭스 기법을 활용하였다. 정부 연구개발투자 방향성에 근거하여 전략적으로 분류한 투자전략군 별 투자지표의 가중치를 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)쌍대비교 방식을 통해 산출하고, 각 세부사업별로 투자지표에 따른 부합도 정도를 평가한 후 가중치를 반영하여 총점을 점수화하면 각 투자전략군별 사업들의 투자우선순위를 보여줄 수 있다. 이 때 투자기준에 따른 투자성과(Y축)와 기대효과 (X축)를 반영한 포트폴리오(Portfolio) 매트릭스 분석 방식을 활용, 투자등급을 정의 및 제시하여 R&D사업들의 투자등급별 예산 비중을 조절하는 이 방법론을 산업통상자원부의 산업군에 적용 및 검증해 보고 전문가 집단에 따른 결과 또한 비교해 보았다. 본 연구는 전략적 R&D투자우선순위 설정 방법론으로 과학적 예산결정의 매뉴얼 개발이나 표준화 측면에서 새로운 접근방법을 제시하여 정부연구개발예산의 재정소요를 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. It is essential to improve the efficiency of National R&D budget spending for sustainable economic growth through industry and technology development. The original way of budget allocation is highly relying on the past record and analysis of each industry. In recent, considering the phenomenon of convergence of industries, large scale projects followed by the government policy agenda and vision can give investment direction to each industry in terms of planning and building strategy for mid-long term. Therefore, in this paper, we used the way of hybrid methodologies combining of AHP and Portfolio matrix to drive investment priorities beyond sectors and within sectors. We draw a weight of each index selected by expert group using pair matrix of AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) methodology by strategic investment group based on government R&D investment direction for the strategic decision reflecting political purpose and characteristics of industries. In further, we applied this weight to the programs and projects of Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and draw portfolio with two axes, outcomes(y-axis) and impacts(x-axis), for each strategically classified investment group to give priorities. In addition to that, we also compare the results depending on the expert group. We expect that this methodology could be practically used as manual or standard for scientific and strategic R&D budgetary decision in a way that can maximize the efficiency of National R&D investment.

Sodium oleate, used as a capping agent, affected both the morphologies and surface areas of the Cu-doped Pd–Fe3O4 nanocomposites. To the best of our knowledge, these magnetically recyclable hybrid nanocomposites are a new class of nanocatalysts, and the tandem synthesis of 2-phenylbenzofuran from 2-iodophenol with phenylpropiolic acid catalyzed by heterogeneous nanocatalysts has not been reported in the literature. Moreover, Cu-doped Pd–Fe3O4 nanocatalysts are superior to previously reported catalysts for this tandem reaction.</P></▼2>

This study is for information system development on tourism industry with information engineering theory. The development steps of information engineering is as follows; 1 planning(identify strategic planning factors, identify corporate planning objects, develop enterprise model), 2 analysis(develop conceptual data model, develop process models), 3 design(design databases, design processes), 4 implementation(build database definitions, generate applications). The planning among the steps is studied in this thesis for hotel industry such as room office, food and beverage department, reservation office and front office. And then the general model of information system planning is suggested. The object of this study is to suggest the model for the efficiency of hotel information system and to enhance hotel employees' understanding and participating information system development.
Design of Transparent Multicolor LED Signage with an Oxide-Metal-Oxide Interconnect Electrode

A transparent light emitting diode (LED) panel with a 16 × 16 multicolor LED array for a signage application is proposed and studied based on experimental and simulation results. As a transparent electrode, oxide/metal/oxide (OMO) trilayers with various Al interlayer thicknesses were fabricated and characterized using an established a simulation model. Using commercial ray tracing optical and SPICE simulation tools, we designed the LED panel and investigated in its optical and electrical properties. Moreover, in order to resolve the waveguide effect and voltage drop issue across the panel, we integrated additional optical structures and various OMO width into the design. The results show that the OMO electrode interconnects and proposed design considerations are pivotal aspects toward achieving transparent LED digital signage applications.
