        Photonic Crystals: Integration of Colloidal Photonic Crystals toward Miniaturized Spectrometers (Adv. Mater. 9/2010)

        <B>Graphic Abstract</B> <P>The cover shows a schematic illustration of patterned colloidal photonic crystals with different bandgap positions. When an unknown light source impinges on the patterned photonic crystals, the light information can be identified from the reflection intensity profile of the constituent photonic crystals.       • 알코올 및 인삼액이 효소활성도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        This study was investigated for the change of r-GTP, CPK activity and CPK-isoenzyme by alcohol and Ginseng administration, The normal white S.D rats were classified with four groups; ethanol treated was group A, ethanol pretreated group combined pretreated with Ginseng extract was group B, Ginseng extract treated was group C, and Ginseng extract treated group combined pretreated with ethanol was group D. The white rats of four groups were treated with 20%, 30%, 40% ethanol and/or 1% Ginseng extract. Then enzyme activities such as r-GTP, CPK and CPK-isoenzyme had been measared in serum, hepatic, and renal tissues. The sample was collected by 5 day intervalus for 25 days. The following results were obtained. 1. The changes of serum r-GTP activities were significantly increased in ethanol-treated group, decreased in Ginseng-treated group. 2. The changes of hepatic r-GTP activites were significantly increased in ethanol-treated group, decreased in Ginseng-treated group. 3. The changes of renal r-GTP activites were significantly increased in ethanol-treated group, decreased in ginseng-treated group. 4. The changes of serum CPK activites were significantly increased in ethanol-treated group, decreased in ginseng-treated group. 5. The changes of hepatic and renal tissue CPK activites were not significant. 6. The changes of serum and hepatic tissue CPK-isoengyme were significantly increased in ethanol-treated group, decreased in ginseng-treated group combined pretreated with ethanol. 7. The changes of CPK-isoengyme, CPK 1 and CPK 2 were not significant.

      • 구리의 전기석출시 젤라틴이 물성에 미치는 영향

        In the electrodeposition of copper foil for preparing printed circuit boards, a little amount of gelatin as a addition agent has been used for the better characteristics of a coat of electroplating. Gelatin modifies the physical properties such as mechanical strength, matte-side roughness, ultimate tensile strength(U.T.S), and elongation of copper foil, furthermore gelatin have influence on the structure of electrodeposits and the cathode polarization. The electrolyte used was of a composition; CuSO₄·5H₂O 300g/ℓ, H₂SO₄ 100g/ℓ, NaCl 10 ppm as a brightner, and was gelatin 0-7 ppm as a addition agent. Current density was 50 A/dm², and the temperature of electrolytic bath was 50 to 52 ℃. Experiments showed that the optimum gelatin concentration was 5 ppm with the consideration of the numbers of electrodeposited nuclei. And the nuclei numbers was sharply increased under 5 ppm, but was almostly constant above 5ppm. Average matte-side roughness by Surfcorder was gradually increased with the increasing gelatine concentration up to 2 ppm, and maximum roughness was observed at 2ppm. The roughness showed gradual decrease within the concentration range of 2 to 4 ppm, and was almost constant above 4ppm . Within the gelatine concentration range of 0 to 7 ppm, as the concentration increased, UTS was increased and elongation was decreased logarithmically. Also, in comparison between UTS and elongation, gelatin was identified as an addition agent acting inversely.

      • 경영자보상구조에 관한 실증연구

        본 연구는 2001~2002년 거래소와 코스닥에 상장 및 등록되어 있는 기업을 표본으로 하여 현금성과급에 영향을 주는 요인을 분석하고, 현금성과급과 주식성과급 간의 관계를 살펴보았다. 연구결과 첫째, 동일 산업에 속한 비교회사와의 상대적 성과평가(relative performance)에 근거하여 경영자보상이 결정됨을 발견하였다. 둘째, 스톡욥션을 부여한 기업의 경우, 회계적 성과측정치와 경영자보상간의 민감도가 낮음을 발견하였다. 이 결과는 회계적 경영성과 측정치가 경영자의 성과를 측정하는데 적합성이 떨어지는 경우, 기업은 주식수익률에 의한 스톡옵션 인센티브제도를 도입하여 회계적성과측정치에 근거한 현금보상을 보완한다고 해석된다. 셋째, 임원의 현금보상이 높은 기업들에서 스톡옵션이 도입될 확률이 높음을 발견하였다. 이는 기업들이 현금성과급에 의한 유인제도뿐만 아니라 스톱옵션 인센티브제도를 함께 사용하고 있음을 의미한다.

      • 인삼액이 알코올 투여 흰쥐의 효소활성에 미치는 영향

        The S.D. rats were classified with four groups: ethanol-treated group, ginseng-treated group which was pretreated with ethanol, ginseng-treated group and ethanol-treated group which was pretreated with ginseng. Then enzyme activities such as γ-GTP, Alk phosphatase and amylase had been measured in serum, hepatic and renal tissue. The descriptions were based on the analysis of samples collected by 5 days interval for25 days. The following results were obtained. 1. The changes of serum γ-GTP, Alk phosphatase and amylase were significantly increased in ethanol-treated group, decreased in ginseng-treated group which was pre treated with ethanol except amylase, amylase activity was especially decreased in ginseng-treated group. 2. The changes of hepatic γ-GTP, Alk phosphatase and amylase were significantly increased in ethanol-treated group, decreased in ginseng-treated group which was pretreated with ethanol except amylase, amylase activity was especially decreased in ginseng-treated group. 3. The changes of renal γ-GTP, Alk phosphatase and amylase were significantly increased in ethanol-treated group, decreased in ginseng-treated group which was pretreated with ethanol except amylase, amylase activity was especially decreased in ethanol-treated group which was pretreated with ginseng. Based on these results, it suggested that ethanol increased the concentrations of γ-GTP, Alk phosphatase and amylase but ginseng suppressed the hepatotoxic effect by ethanol.

      • 선형파괴역학에 의한 Aluminum Foil과 종이의 파괴거동 해석

        크랙이 내재된 시편을 크랙으로부터 멀리 떨어진 단면에 대해 균일한 크기의 응력과 변형량이 발생하도록 길이방향으로 당겨주는 장치를 이용하여, 선형 파괴 역학적 관점에서 알루미늄 호일과 종이의 파괴거동을 평가하였다. 상사형의 균열을 가진 파괴시편의 파괴하중을 차원해석으로 예측하였고, 실험을 통하여 예측된 하중과 실제하중을 비교, 검토하였다. The fracture behaviors of aluminum foils and sheet papers were analyzed on the basis of linear elastic fracture mechanics(LEFM). The fracture loads of the Al foil and paper were calculated by dimensional analysis. The actual fracture loads were measured using the simple tension equipment. The predicted fracture loads were compared with the experimental results, respectively.

      • Arabinoxylane과 PSP의 면역세포 활성화 효과, 항암 효과 및 알레르기 억제 효과 검증

        The objective of the current study was to determine the effects of arabinoxylane and PSP on the immune cell functions. Arabinoxylane and PSP directly induced the proliferation of spleen cells in a dose-dependent manner. Stimulation of spleen cells with arabinoxylane and PSP resulted in increased IFN-γ synthesis. Especially, PSP induced IL-2, IL-4 and IL-10 production. Both arabinoxylane and PSP increased PFC(10∼15%) and RFC(10∼30%) formation. Arabinoxylane was not induced the proliferation of T cells, but PSP directly induced the proliferation of T cells in a high dose. Arabinoxylane and PSP increased the proliferation of B cells isolated from spleen cells. Stimulation of macrophage with PSP(20%) and arabinoxylane(22%) resulted in increased phagocytic effects. When arabinoxylane and PSP were used in macrophage stimulation, there was a marked induction of NO synthesis in a dose-dependent. Stimulation of macrophage with arabinoxylane and PSP resulted in increased TNF-α and IL-6 synthesis. Expecially, PSP also induced IL-1β production. When arabinoxylane and PSP were used in macrophage stimulation, there was induction of MHC class Ⅱ expression. The cytotoxic effect was revealed at 1 day in the 7 strains, and at 5 days in the 9 strains of cancer cell lines treated with arabinoxylane and PSP. There are some cancer cell lines treated with arabinoxylane and PSP was inhibited S and G2/M stage, but other cancer cell lines was not inhibited in the cell cycles. PSP feeding for 2 weeks significantly increased the cytotoxic effect of natural killer cells. PSP feeding for 2 weeks also significantly increased the cytotoxic effect of cytotoxic T cells. Both arabinoxylane and PSP induced the supressive effect in the mice with sarcoma-180 cell injected intracutaneously. When the mice injected intraperitoneal cavity with sarcoma 180 cells, survival ratio was increased in the mice fed on arabinoxylane and PSP. There was no difference in the ratio and kind of immune cells in the mice fed on arabinoxylane and PSP for 2 weeks. The ratio of PCA was slightly decreased in the mice fed on PSP, especially fed on arabinoxylane than in the control mice. The concentrations of blood histamine was slightly decreased in the mice fed on arabinoxylane and PSP. These results suggest that the capacity of arabinoxylane and PSP seem to act as a potent immunomodulator causing augmentation of immune cell activity, and with the absence of notable side-effects, arabinoxylane and PSP could be used as a biological response modifier having possible therapeutic effects against immunological disorders.

        Hyaluronidase, Dimethyl Sulfoxide, Actovegin이 백서 피부판 생존에 미치는 효과에 대한 실험적 연구

        Delay procedure has been used in reconstructive surgery for the prevention of flap necrosis and the augmentation of flap survival. Concerning the delay mechanism, numerous experiments have suggested various hypotheses, Recently, Finseth proposed a new vasodilatation hypothesis, based on the prolonged vascular smooth muscle relaxation in the precapillary arteriole to which several factors contribute such as sympathectomy, tissue ischemia and inflammatory reaction. Since then many authors attempted to improve flap survival with pharmacological treatment. The study was conducted to reveal the effect of hyaluronidase, Actovegin and dimethyl sulfoxide on the survival of the random pattern flap in experimental rats. The results were summarized as follows. 1. The mean length of the flap survival was 4.4cm for the control and 6.7cm for the flap treated with Dimethyl sulfoxide. 2. There was no significant difference between the DMSO-treated, Hyaluronidase treated and Actovegin treated animals.
