본 논문에서는 사용자 단말과 단말의 환경변수에 따른 멀티미디어 가입자망의 전송속도 비교 및 분석에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 LAN과 같은 대칭적인 망에서 뿐만 아니라 ADSL과 같은 비대칭적인 망에서도 사용이 가능힌 속도측정 소프트웨어를 설계 및 구현하여 10BaseT 환경에서 전송속도를 비교 및 분석을 하였다. TCP 수신속도는 CPU 부하가 90%이상이 되기 전에는 통신망의 대역에 의존하여 변화함을 알 수 있었고 또한 TCP Receive Window(RWIN) 크기가 MTU의 2배 이상이 되면 속도와의 연관성이 줄어듬을 알 수 있었다. This study accomplish comparison and analysis multimedia access network speed configuration which is effected by different environmental variation. For this testing. Not only LAN configuration which is symmetric network, But also the ADSL which is asymmetric network is tested by network speed checking software which is designed by our lab in a 10BaseT environment. In the case of TCP receive speed, we find out the network speed is changed according to bands of network to 90% of CPU load. Also, If the TCP receive windows's size became 2 times rate more than MTU, it reduced the relation of speed rate.

This study was conducted to investigate antibiotic resistance among Salmonella Typhimurium isolates from diseased pigs in Gyeongbuk province during the period 1998∼2011. One hundred forty one isolates were tested for antibiotic resistance using the standard disk diffusion method and were examined for presence of resistance gene by PCR method. S. Typhimurium showed high drug resistance rates to tetracycline (95.7%), streptomycin (93.6%), ampicillin (86.5%), cephalothin (80.1%), gentamicin (79.4%), and trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole (72.3%). Resistance gene, blaTEM, blaPSE1, tetA, tetB, tetG, sul1, sul2, aadA, strA, grm, and temA were detected among the antibiotic resistance isolates and temB, tetC, aadB gene were not detected. One hundred twenty one (89.6%) tetA, two (1.5%) tetB and one (0.7%) tetG gene were detected in the 135 tetracycline resistant isolates. Two (1.6%) temA gene were detected in one hundred twenty two ampicillin resistance isolates and temB was not detected.

When the design and implementation of speaker verification system with stable performances by short training number, the proper speaker recognition method of reducing the training number are required. For determining the proper speaker recognition method, the existing speaker recognition methods are compared through computer simulations. Discrete HMM recognition method is adopted for the performance stability of speaker recognition, the amount of training and the possibility of real-time implementation, The realistic methods are proposed for the enhancement of discrete HMM as the following five parts. Five algorithms are proposed in two parts and incorporated into a single system. This study consists of two parts; one is preprocessing part, the other is speaker verification part. The five methods mentioned above are applied to the general DHMM and the approach then results in the performance enhancement of about 1.1% in FA and 41.7% in FR. As a result, it is shown that the proposed speaker verification system composed of the five algorithms is very robust to noisy environment

License plate detecting is an important step in license plate recognition system. In this paper, we proposed character segmentation method of license plate using image binarization. While the existing method applied binarization technique adaptively in different illumination, the proposed method binarize effectively using Otsu algorithm and Niblack algorithm by stages. The proposed method has two stage. It is constructed that the first candidate region is detected using Morphology technique and Connected Component Analysis(CCA), and the detailed character region is detected by the detected first candidate region. Otsu algorithm is used in first detecting process and Niblack algorithm is used second detecting process. The proposed method detected the license plate region speedy and accurately. and easy to apply in real time.
서지전류 변화에 따른 ZnO 배리스터의 제한 전압 특성에 관한 연구

In this paper, we are doing research on the effects of the injected number and amplitude of surge current on ZnO varistor limiting voltage versus change of injected surge current(10/350μs). We injected surge current under the same conditions until the varistor totally broke down and then took a measurement of voltage at that time. We analyze characteristics of surge currents on the performance of ZnO varistor, the measurement of voltage before and after the injection of the same surge current. As a consequence, the amplitude of average limiting voltage through ZnO varistor were increased with increasing surge currents. And we found that the number of injection on the surge current was increased for lower surge current.

Failover procedures took too much time and were extremely costly. When a system went down, the field technician served by that system would become idle when they finished the current job. They would have to wait for the system to come back up to identify the next job. System failure would affect large segments of the workforce, it required at least an hour to carry out a failure. Therefore, an efforts was begun to refurbish the infrastructure that supported work manager. We developed work manager, an information of scheduling system that automates work management, an algorithm and field communications.
