        I watched his poetry to three part ago Kim-Jokyu's glorious restoration in this paper. He defies in the world by romantic passion since work activity beginning, but is fallen soon in blank despair by inconsistent world realization. Then, by his poem of this time recording of pale highbrow's own discord which live organ of the Japanese government-general in Korea under the Japanese rule. His poem of this time is often using surrealistic technique, but the root still puts on romantic foundation. 'Wall' and 'Window' used to main symbol at this time poet of be hopeless and shows well self-confinement state. He departs in private limit experiencing drifting and migrating people's gruesome life and face nation's life and suffering after do Gando(간도) wandering. As Kim-Jokyu's poem of this time shows recording of painful life of drifting and migrating people that come by Gando through space 'Station' mainly as is full, have high lyric awakening power. On the other hand, criticizing Japan and Manchu's real condition, anti-Japanese struggle has fixed meaning in our real condition that there are not many poems that do foreground hearing viscosity 1940s that is showing contents of anti-Japanese struggle clearly. Romantic poem announced to organ of the Japanese government-general in Korea shows symbolic, esthetic, sentimental slant in corruption and atmosphere of gloom generally. Kim-Jokyu’s poem, although show strong uncommunicated self-confinement one time, has meaning that is fixed in our history of romantic poetry in terms of contain strong social and ethnic ardent wish unlike this.

        Identification of a sensitive urinary biomarker, selenium-binding protein 1, for early detection of acute kidney injury

        <P>Acute kidney injury (AKI) is associated with increased mortality rate in patients but clinically available biomarkers for disease detection are currently not available. Recently, a new biomarker, selenium-binding protein 1 (SBP1), was identified for detection of nephrotoxicity using proteomic analysis. The aim of this study was to assess the sensitivity of urinary SBP1 levels as an early detection of AKI using animal models such as cisplatin or ischemia/reperfusion (I/R). Sprague-Dawley rats were injected with cisplatin (6 mg/kg, once i.p.) and sacrificed at 1, 3, or 5 days after treatment. Ischemia was achieved by bilaterally occluding both kidneys with a microvascular clamp for 45 min and verified visually by a change in tissue color. After post-reperfusion, urine samples were collected at 9, 24, and 48 hr intervals. Urinary excretion of protein-based biomarkers was measured by Western blot analysis. In cisplatin-treated rats, mild histopathologic alterations were noted at day 1 which became severe at day 3. Blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and serum creatinine (SCr) levels were significantly increased at day 3. Levels of urinary excretion of SBP1, neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL), and a tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1 (TIMP-1) were markedly elevated at day 3 and 5 following drug treatment. In the vehicle-treated I/R group, serum levels of BUN and SCr and AST activity were significantly increased compared to sham. Urinary excretion of SBP1 and NGAL rose markedly following I/R. The urinary levels of SBP1, NGAL, TIMP-1, and KIM-1 proteins excreted by AKI patients and normal subjects were compared. Among these proteins, a marked rise in SBP1 was observed in urine of patients with AKI compared to normal subjects. Based upon receiver-operator curves (ROC), SBP1 displayed a higher area under the curve (AUC) scores than levels of SCr, BUN, total protein, and glucose. In particular, SBP1 protein was readily detected in small amounts of urine without purification. Data thus indicate that urinary excretion of SBP1 may be useful as a reliable biomarker for early diagnosis of AKI in patients.</P>

        순 티탄늄 판재의 프레스 성형성 평가(제 1보)

        본 논문에서는 판형 열교환기 등에 널리 이용되고 있는 순 티타늄 판재의 프레스 성형성을 평가하기 위해 인장실험을 수행하였고 인장실험결과를 가장 잘 피팅할 수 있는 가공경화 모델을 제안하였다. 또한 항복곡면의 도출을 위해 단축변형, 평면변형, 순수전단변형 등 다양한 변형모드 하에서의 인장실험을 실시하였다. 이 제안된 모델을 Hora의 수정된 최대하중조건식에 적용하여 프레스 성형성을 평가하기 위해서 널리 사용되고 있는 성형한계선을 예측하였고 그 결과를 장출성형실험에서 구한 성형한계선과 비교하였다. 도출한 항복곡면을 잘 묘사하기 위한 이방성 항복조건식과 본 연구에서 제안된 가공경화모델은 순 티타늄 판재의 프레스 성형성의 척도인 성형한계선을 잘 예측함을 알 수 있었다. Commercially pure titanium (CP Ti) has been actively used in plate heat exchangers due to its light weight, high specific strength, and excellent corrosion resistance. However, compared with automotive steels and aluminum alloys, there has not been much research on the plastic deformation characteristics and press formability of CP Ti sheet. In this study, the mechanical properties of CP Ti sheet are clarified in relation to press formability, including anisotropic properties and the stress-strain relation. The flow curve of the true stress-true strain relation is fitted well by the Kim-Tuan hardening equation rather than the Voce and Swift models. The forming limit curve (FLC) of CP Ti sheet was experimentally evaluated as a criterion for press formability by punch stretching tests. Analytical predictions were also made via Hora's modified maximum force criterion. The predicted FLC with the Kim-Tuan hardening model and an appropriate yield function shows good correlation with the experimental results of the punch stretching test.

        장기표면의 내외봉한관과 봉한소체의 형태학적 관찰

        Objective: In 1960`s Bonghan Kim`s team found BongHan(BH) ducts which were presumed as acupuncture meridians and BH corpuscles. They asserted Bonghan theory and SanAl theory which was involved in cell division and cell restoration. However, many other experiments which had been operated to demonstrate and find the existence of BH ducts had failed because of the secret of blue stain drugs. During the last several years, BongHan theory has been revived through experimental researches to find the anatomical structures of BH ducts and corpuscles by Soh`s Biomedical Physics Lab. Soh`s research team used the staining with Janus Green B, Alcian blue, nanoparticles and Acridine Orange. We used DAPI staining to find the existence of BH ducts and the corpuscles and to observe nuclear arrangement. Methods: We used japan white rabbits as experimental animals. BH ducts and corpuscles were stained with DAPI. The nucleus configuration in BH ducts stained with DAPI were observed with microscope. Results: In this study, we found thread like structures in silver white color distinguished from the blood vessels, nerves and lymph vessels. These thread like vessels in the linear duct shape were connected to same colored mass in the ball shape. Thread like structures we found could be separated easily from the surrounding other organ mass. The nuclei of the thread like structure in DAPI staining, are about 10~20㎛ length, in rod shape and linear arrangement. Conclusion: We concluded that the thread like structure we found was same vessel reported by Soh`s research team, BongHan ducts and corpuscle.

        Distribution of Aquaporins (Water Channels) in the Rat Salivary Glands

        침샘은 하루 1.5 l의 침을 분비하며, 일반적으로 침샘에서 수분이동은 능동적 염분 이동에 따른 삼투현상에 의해 일어난다. 따라서 침샘에서 높은 수분투과성으로 인해 수분통로 단백인 aquaporin (AQP)들이 풍부하게 존재할 수 있다. 지금까지침샘에 4가지 형태의 AQP이 존재한다고 알려져 있지만 침샘에서 정확한 위치와 수분 이동에 대한 각 AQP들의 역할은 아직 확실치 않다. 본 연구는 300 g 정도의 흰쥐를 pentobarbital sodium (50 mg/kg, IP) 마취하에서 carbarchol (10 μg/kg)을 복강 내 투여한 후 AQP들의 역할과 분포를 면역조직화학방법으로 조사하였다. AQP1은 침샘의 미세혈관의 내피세포와 샘세포와 샘관 주위에 존재하는 근육상피세포에 존재하였다. AQP4는 침샘관의 마지막 부위인 배출관에 존재하였다. AQP5는 주로 장액세포의 바닥가쪽과 세포사이 분비소관을 포함한 세포꼭대기쪽막 에 존재하였으며 콜린성 분비 자극으로 세포꼭대기쪽막으로 이동되어 밀집되었다. AQP5는 모든 침샘의 사이관과 줄무늬 관에도 존재하였으며 점액세포는 약하게 존재하였다. AQP8은 AQP5처럼 장액세포의 바닥쪽막과 세포사이 분비소관을 포함한 세포꼭대기쪽막에 존재하였으며 콜린성 침분비 자극으로 세포꼭대기쪽막쪽으로 이동되어 밀집되었다. 이상의 실험결과는 AQP5와 AQP8이 장액세포에서 일차 침 형성시 일어나는 수분이동의 주된 통로임을 시사하였다. The salivary glands produce 1.5 l of fluid per day. As in other organs, the general paradigm in the salivary glands is that water movement occurs secondary to osmotic driving forces created by active salt transport. Therefore, high water permeability in salivary glands is expected to need a variety of aquaporin (AQP), a water channel. Although four AQPs have been known to reside in salivary glands, the precise location and roles of AQPs have been not well examined. This study is aimed to investigate the distribution of AQPs in 3 major salivary glands and their changes after cholinergic stimulation using immunohistochemical study in Sprague Dawley rats weighing 300 g under pentobarbital sodium anesthesia. AQP1 was localized in the endothelial cells of all salivary capillary vessels and the myoepithelial cells. AQP4 was demonstrated in the epithelium of the excretory ductal cells of all salivary glands. AQP5 and 8 were abundantly present in the basolateral membrane and apical membranes of the serous acini including intercellular secretory canaliculi, whereas AQP5 was weakly present in mucous acini. In addition, AQP5 was found in the epithelium of the intercalated and striated ducts. Upon stimulation of carbachol (10 μg/kg, I.P). AQP5 and 8 tended to translocate from basolateral membrane to the apical membrane, appearing as clusters of dots. These results suggest that AQP5 and 8 are the candidate molecules responsible for the water movement in salivary acinar cells.

      • Selection of Superior Trees for Larger Fruit and High Productivity in Sorbus commixta Hedl.

        The objectives of this study, an analysis of the variation for leaf and fruit characteristics among the selected ten populations of Sorbus commixta Hedl. could be used for the conservation of gene resources and could provide information to superior trees selection. The results obtained from this study can be summarized as follows; Approximately, the Mt. Sungin population at Ulleung island showed larger values in overall characteristics and populations. On the other hand, Mt. Halla population at Jeju island showed the smaller values of the overall characteristics and populations. ANOV A tests showed that there were statistically significant differences in all leaf characteristics among the populations as well as individual trees within populations. But, for fruit characteristics, differences were statistically significant only among the populations. Cluster analysis using single linkage method based on leaf and fruit characteristics showed that ten selected populations of S. commixta in Korea could be clustered into three groups. Group I is Mt. Sungin at Ulleung island, Group II is Mt. Halla at Jeju island, and Group III comprises Osan, Mt. Kaji, Mt. Duckyoo, Mt. Balwang, Mt. Sobaek, Mt. O-dae, Mt. Jiri, and Mt. Taebaek. The selection level based on major agronomic traits, which are the Number of Fruit per Fruiting Lateral(NFL) over 50, and Fruit Length(FL) and Width(FW) over 10 mm, and Weight of 100 Fruit(WFI00) over 66 g, was applied on 100 sample trees, and five trees were selected. The selection effects from selected trees in NFL, FL, FW, and WF100 were evaluated as 132%, 151 %, 142%, and 264% compared to the mean of those 100 sample trees, respectively. Especially, Ulleung 2 showed excellent values that NFL and WFI00 were 95, and 69 g, respectively, suggesting a promising new cultivar for larger fruit and high productivity.

      • 학생청소년의 불안성향과 문제행동 유형간의 상관분석

        The purpose of the present study was to examine the relationship between their problem behavioral pattern and anxious trends among Korean student adolescent. Zung's measurement of anxiety level undergone through used of the self-rating anxiety scale. the data were collected through the questionaire survey which was conducted on Dec.1, 1983. Subjects served for this atudy consisted of 1,404 syudents in Korea, randomly sampled from Korean student population by means of census method. The data were analysed by CDC-174 computer of KAIST, using SPSS pogram. Statistical methods empoyed were χ^2 test and Eta measures. the results of this study were as follows. 1. It showed that students psychological anxious trends had greatest significant correlation with adolescent student's problem brhavioral pattern, but the cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestional and genitourinary anxious trends has not significantly related with student's problem behavioral pattern. 2. Students group with undersocialized aggressive, undersocialized nonaggressive,undersocialized school-norm avoidant, or socialized nonaggressive behavioral patterns were less anxious, whereas those with socialized latent aggressive, socialized sexual, or socialized modellong behavioral patterns were higher anxious.

        The Impact of the Tax Reform Act on the Stock Returns of U.S. Life Insurance Companies

        This paper investigates the impact of the Tax Reform Act of 1984(the 1984 Act) which revised the Life Insurance Company Income Tax Act of 1959(the 1959 Act) significantly using two stages. In the first stage an event study is undertaken to examine how the selected life insurance companies were on average affected by the tax law changes in 1984. In the second stage cross-sectional regression analysis is performed to find the sources of the abnormal returns found in the first stage. The empirical results of the event-related analysis in the first stage indicate negative abnormal returns observed around certain events critical to enactment of the 1984 Act. The results of the second stage analysis show that the larger companies writing less life term insurance and less accident and health and goup life insurance with less money invested into the assets providing larger capital gains are found to have experienced smaller negative abnormal returns. Such firms are interpreted to have shifted more of the corporate income tax burdens imposed upon the life insurance companies by the tax law change in 1984. Until now U.S life insurance tax law did not change fundamentally since the Tax Reform Act of 1984 was in effect. Hence, in this paper I try to investigate the impact of the TRA of 1984.
