        Some authors suggest that certain types of surfaces are the origin of such injuries. A few years after the first medical concerns about surfaces were voiced, publications of biomechanical measurements apperared, describing accleration, force, and impact measurement on different types of surfaces. In many sport activities, surfaces can be under very high dynamic load. This was the reason for the development of various methods for impact simulation, like the development of various methods for impact simulation, like the artificial athlete. Furthermore, it is important to collect information about the hardness of new and already existing surfaces in sport arenas. The idea on which this measuring system is based Is as follows: The stiffness of the material can be computed from the kinematics measurd at touch down of a rigid body onto a material sample. The results show the following The result for the artifical surfaces(Synpave ace) is surprising. It is known that these surfaces are much harder than synpave rebound classic, synpave spring. This finding suggests that it may be possible that the subjective impression is used as one criterion in the selection of landing(or style) strategies. The number of subjects in this experiment is too small to make statistically significant conclusions. It is shown analytically that when an object a deformable surface, the acceleration it experiences is inversely propotional to its mass. In future, it need to stress that the interaction between shoe and surface is important, and this aspect has now become well accepted. Considering biomechanical aspect in player's injury, it request Korean Standards for synthetic playing surfaces in sport like ASTM(America Society for Testing & Materials) standards of America, DIN 18035 standards of Germany, BSI standards of U.K.

      • Windows CE기반에서 GameAPI를 이용한 효율적인 게임 컴포넌트 설계 및 구현

        Recently, many variable mobile contents enter the stage according as increase of mobile device user. Mobile game among many mobile contents have being developed from the main projects. But mobile Game must design to set variable condition of which, small hardware, variable platform, and etc. Therefore we must design the fast small game and the fast update game. In this paper, we designed efficient game components on PDA with the Windows CE platform and modulated the function of game. Therefore we can less term of game development, and reuse the components to fit each game architecture. Also we modulated the function of GameAPI, is game API of Windows CE, that can make real-time game and high level game. In the last of paper, we implemented the shooting Game made use of our Game Components and studied the faculty of Game Components.

      • 3차원 데이터의 Photon Map Rendering 기법에 대한 비교 연구

        The needs about presentations of realistic image have been gradually increased the technical development and importance in the study of computer graphics. With the development of hardware enabling high-resolution image, we suggest to express more natural and accurate image in rendering. This paper presents photorealistic rendering algorithm that embodies accurate image such as photo. With relative evaluation among photorealistic renders that are used in present, we compare base and efficiency and also analyze the interface and application environment. Based on these our comparison, analysis and experimentation, this paper verifies quality and render-speed as important points in renderer. We expect that our experimental results will be used as comparative data in many rendering works.

      • 부산시 학교체육시설과 체육공원시설의 안전도 조사

        본 연구에서는 부산광역시에 소재한 초,중,고등학교 72개교와 체육공원 9개소의 체육시설을 대상으로 현장을 직접 방문하여 안전도 측면에서 체육시설의 상태를 양호, 보통, 불량으로 나누어 20명의 조사자가 객관적인 관점에서 체육시설을 항목별로 구분한 것을 토대로 평가 하였고 또한 체육시설에 대한 실측이 필요로 하는 것은 정확한 측정을 하여 문제점을 분석하였다. 그 결과 학교체육시설은 시설의 설치와 관리상태 그리고 정비에 대한 관심이 안전도 측면에서 학생들이나 일반인들이 이용할 때 최적의 체육시설을 이용할 수 있도록 학교와 교사 그리고 행정기관에서 적극적인 재정지원과 관심이 요구되었고 체육공원시설은 질적인 면만이 아니라 양적으로도 고려가 되어야 하고 무엇보다도 수요자 중심으로 다양한 연령층을 고려하여 사회체육의 저변확대에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 본다. 체육공원시설은 누구나 쉽게 접할 수 있는 배치와 설계가 이루어짐으로서 지역사회의 주민이 체육활동을 할 수 있는 기회를 쉽게 제공하여야 할 것이다. 또한 기존의 공원체육 시설이 안전도 측면에서 양호한 수준으로 되기까지는 행정기관의 적극적인 관심과 경제적인 지원이 지속적으로 이루어져야 할 것으로 본다. 결론적으로 체육시설은 안전도를 고려하여 설계되고 배치되어야 한다. 또한 누구나 안전하게 이용할 수 있도록 고려되어짐으로서 운동으로 인한 안전사고를 최대한 예방할 수 있을 것으로 본다. This study investigates and examines exercise facilities of 72 elementary and secondary school and 9 athletic parks all over the city of Pusan, and estimates their human-engineering aspects according to researcher's subjective standards(low, mid, and high level). It also finds out and analyzes items which needs measurement and estimation in exercise facilities, and concludes as follows: 1) In the case of exercise facilities in schools, more active attention must be given to their erection and control, and their constant checking and repair. Safety accident must also be prevented by providing optimal exercise facilities made in human-engineering way with students and ordinary people using them. Therefore, both school administrator and teachers must pay much mort attention to exercise facilities on schools and more much money must be invested for them. 2) In the case of exercise facilities of athletic parks, their quantity as well as qu must be emphasized, and, above all, safe user-centered exercise facilities must be designed and manufactured on the basis of the safety, and be provided with the people of different ages.

      • SOL-GEL法에 依한 LAS系 結晶化유리의 製造에 있어서 租成比유리의 特性에 미치는 影響

        The purpose of this study is to investigate into the physical properties of Li₂O-Al₂O₃-nSiO₂ (LAnS) system of crystallized glass prepared by sol-gel method according to the composition ratio of LAnS. In order to find the crystallization temperature as well as the state of crystalline, differential thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction analysis were examined. The results obtained are as follows : 1. Gelling time became longer as increasing the composition ratio of SiO₂ and also found that it became faster as increasing the additive amount of water. Also, additive amount of water required for the gellation was above four times of the theoretical amount of water required hydrolysis. 2. Surface area and mean pore size became larger as increasing the composition ratio of SiO₂ and for LA4S dried gel, surface area was 331.1m^(2)/g, mean pore size distributed about 5nm and 30-50nm. 3. The crystallization temperature is high as increasing the composition ratio of SiO₂ and for LA4S, crystallization temperature is 800℃. Also, LA4S formed at 800℃ for the crystalline phase of β-eucryptite and at 900℃ for crystalline phase of β-spodumene.

        마우스 EAE, GVHD 질환에서 CTLA4Ig 융합단백의 면역치료 효과

        Background: CTLA4 (CD152), which is expressed on the surface of T cells following activation, has a much higher affinity for B7 molecules comparing to CD28, and is a negative regulator of T cell activation. In contrast to stimulating and agonistic capabilities of monoclonal antibodies specific to CTLA-4, CTLA4Ig fusion protein appears to act as CD28 antagonist and inhibits in vitro and in vivo T cell priming in variety of immunological conditions. We've set out to confirm whether inhibition of the CD28-B7 costimulatory response using a soluble form of human CTLA4Ig fusion protein would lead to persistent inhibition of alloreactive T cell activation. Methods: We have used CHO-$dhfr^-$ cell-line to produce CTLA4Ig fusion protein. After serum free culture of transfected cell line we purified this recombinant molecule by using protein A column. To confirm characterization of fusion protein, we carried out a series of Western blot, SDS-PAGE and silver staining analyses. We have also investigated the efficacy of CTLA4Ig in vitro such as mixed lymphocyte reaction (MLR) & cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) response and in vivo such as experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), graft versus host disease (GVHD) and skin-graft whether this fusion protein could inhibit alloreactive T cell activation and lead to immunosuppression of activated T cell. Results: In vitro assay, CTLA4Ig fusion protein inhibited immune response in T cell-specific manner: 1) Human CTLA4Ig inhibited allogeneic stimulation in murine MLR; 2) CTLA4Ig prevented the specific killing activity of CTL. In vivo assay, human CTLA4Ig revealed the capacities to induce alloantigen-specific hyporesponsiveness in mouse model: 1) GVHD was efficiently blocked by dose-dependent manner; 2) Clinical score of EAE was significantly decreased compared to nomal control; 3) The time of skin-graft rejection was not different between CTLA4Ig treated and control group. Conclusion: Human CTLA4Ig suppress the T cell-mediated immune response and efficiently inhibit the EAE, GVHD in mouse model. The mechanism of T cell suppression by human CTLA4Ig fusion protein may be originated from the suppression of activity of cytotoxic T cell. Human CTLA4Ig could not suppress the rejection in mouse skin-graft, this finding suggests that other mechanism except the suppression of cytotoxic T cell may exist on the suppression of graft rejection.

      • 동종 조혈모세포이식 후 발생한 치명적 홍역 폐렴 1예

        As a result of the enlarging pool of unvaccinated children and young adults, there has been an increase in measles in our countries. In these situation, it has been reported that measles associated pneumoinia is easily complicated with fatal respiratory failure, espycially in immunocompromised patients. Herein we report the case of lethal measles pneumonia after allogenic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in adults proven by autopsy. Recently, one case of measles was encountered in 39-year-old female patients after allogenic bone marrow transplanted case (chronic myelogenous leukemia), who progressed into interstitial pneumonia pattern, despite treatment including antibiotics, immunoglobulin. The patient died of giant cell pneumonia compatible with that of measles which was comfirmed in the section of necropsy lung specimen. (Korean J Infect Dis 33:301∼309, 2001)

        Construction, and In Vitro and In Vivo Analyses of Tetravalent Immunoadhesins

        Previous observations demonstrated that various immunosuppressive agents and their combination therapies can increase allograft survival rates. However, these treatments may have serious side effects and cannot substantially improve or prolong graft survival in acute graft-versus-host disease (GVHD). To improve the therapeutic potency of divalent immunoadhesins, we have constructed and produced several tetravalent forms of immunoadhesins comprising each of cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated 0antigen-4 (CTLA4), CD2, and lymphocyte activation gene-3 (LAG3). Flow cytometric and T cell proliferation analyses displayed that tetravalent immunoadhesins have a higher binding affinity and more potent efficacy than divalent immunoadhesins. Although all tetravalent immunoadhesins possess better efficacies, tetravalent forms of CTLA4-Ig and LAG3-Ig revealed higher inhibitory effects on T cell proliferation than tetravalent forms of TNFR2-Ig and CD2-Ig. In vitro mixed lymphocytes reaction (MLR) showed that combined treatment with tetravalent CTLA4-Ig and tetravalent LAG3-Ig was highly effective for inhibiting T cell proliferation in both human and murine allogeneic stimulation. In addition, both single tetravalent-form and combination treatments can prevent the lethality of murine acute GVHD. The results of this study demonstrated that co-blockade of the major histocompatibility complex class (MHC)II:T cell receptor (TCR) and CD28:B7 pathways by using tetravalent human LAG3-Ig and CTLA4-Ig synergistically prevented murine acute GVHD.
